Both boys are shown running through the dark alleyways to the academy. Upon reaching there destination. Both enter the academy and start running towards there class. Stopping infront of the classroom. Both boys calm down and start opening the door to the classroom. Just like yesterday naruto is glared at by the entire Classroom. After naruto went to his seat and luffy went to his. Shortly after class started and the class started learning history,math and more knowledge on the hidden villages. "Man this is boring when are we becoming ninjas!?" Naruto said sounding very bored. "Well naruto Ninjas have to know these things in order to become shinobi." Iruka said " But since your so hasty and no upcoming wars are said to be seen i guess I could teach you what chakra is" Iruka said sighing.
"Chakra is the combination of spiritual and physical energy. Chakra can be used for mostly anything but it's known for Ninjustu, genjustu and fuinjustu there's of course more arts like taijustu and kin justu but those are for specialist and it's not something academy students should get into. Anyways Ninjustu contains of using the 5 elements. Fire,Water,Wind,earth and lighting. Through kekkei genkais you could get sub justus like Ice style through wind and water.
To go more indepths kekkei genkai are unique hereditary abilities. Kekkei genkai result from a mutation of the DNA, which is then typically passed down through clans from parent to child, or grandparent to grandchild. There's also branches of kekkei genkais called dojustus. Dojustus are utilizing eye techniques into some form of "mode". They are visual prowess that all have different and unique abilities. The most commonly known clan to have these dojustus are the Uchiha and hyuga clan. But there are most likely other clans with eye powers like Uchiha and hyuga. To go more indepth with chakra it's basically our veins. It's a chakra network that connects the veins and it exist in the supposedly 13 trillion cells a average humans body has. In order to manipulate this chakra and transform it into a sub element or any main element that i listed. We have hand signs. Hand signs help the process of weaving chakra into the necessary element. We see naruto asleep not having the brain to keep up with what iruka was saying. But luffy heard everything iruka was saying and was very interested in every subject. After the short rest iruka had he let each of the students go outside on the training grounds to a see what there current abilities are.
"Alright students I will be putting you guys on mutiple test to see where your current abilities are." Iruka said
After this the students were put through 5 test.
Strength
endurance
Agility
Stamina
Strategy.
For the first test your supposed to punch a punching machine as hard as possible all the clan children. Got 10-20 as they had training.
Citizens got 4-8. Excluding luffy who got a 10.
For the endurance test Students were hit with a soft but kinda hard bat in the stomach. Of course most students are children and lost at around 3 hits but luffy. Lasted a surprising about of 10 hits due to him being a rubber man
For agility Each student ran around a track as fast as possible of course it was unfair for already trained children like clan students.
For stamina they had to run track for as long as possible Naruto aced this because of his massive amounts of chakra reserves.
And or Strategy each student has to come up with a plan to sneak inside a small town.
"Alright students " Iruka says looking at the heavily exhausted students lying on the ground not being able to speak. "I will give an official 1 -5 ranking based off what I accessed from your test.
1.Sasuke Uchiha -Due to being a Uchiha member he had training from a short age and has more experience then any of you
2.Kiba inazuka - His ferocious strength combined with his agility he will be a good opponent in the future.
3.Monkey D. Luffy - Despite being a clan less boy he showed extreme endurance and the most strength out of any citizen in this academy.
4.Shikamaru Nara- Despite not doing good in agility or strength your Iq and intelligence combined with stragedy is almost unbeatable.
5. Hinata hyuga -Due to clan training your taijustu could be deadly but if your Weren't so shy you would definitely be higher

"Alright class dismissed!" Iruka said walking out of the class.
Naruto and luffy run home and collapse feeling as if there body was slime and couldn't move.
Luffy crawled to his bed in agony as he lept on it and fell asleep immediately. He mumbled some words before going to sleep. "Academy sucks"...
