"Luffy.. what are you doing up" Naruto says looking at luffy with tired eyes "Go back to sleep naruto I need to take a walk I can't sleep" Luffy said looking at naruto. Naruto nods and heads back to bed snoring.

Luffy eats and heads out walking in a random direction. Luffy in deep thought doesn't realize a heated string heading his away at the last second he notices and jumps out of the way getting a burn mark on his leg. Luffy gaps and looked towards came from. Feeling strong luffy ran towards the Uchiha district which is where it came from.

Arriving at the Uchiha district From the outside it looks like everything was fine. But when luffy stepped inside there was blood everywhere and bodies hanging on trees. Luffy stepped back in terror and barfed on the ground. Hearing screams luffy couldn't resist not trying to figure out what was going on. Luffy ran towards the screams that he heard. Luffy couldn't believe believe he saw he saw a man with pink hair glasses and a devilish smile looking at him eye to eye.

The pink haired man looks at Luffy with a slightly surprised face. "W- Who are you and what did you do to sasukes clan!!!" Luffy yells looking at the pink haired man. The man doesn't answer and rushes at Luffy. " Gum Gum.. PISTOL" Luffy yells out. A stretched out fist comes rushing at the pink haired man. The pink haired man tilts his head to the right slightly dodging it Luffy tries to retract his arm but The man grabbes it and pulled Luffys arm towards himself. "WAAAAH!!"Luffy yells as the man punches luffys head 10 feet back.

Luffy jumps back after freeing himself from the pink haired man Luffy grabs 2 poles and holding onto them runs at pink haired man. "GUM GUM..BAZOOOOOOOOKA" Luffy yells as he let's his 2 Arms go. Both arms come flying at the man. To luffys surprise the attack is stopped by string . The pinked hair man gives luffy no time to think as he rushes towards him intending to kill. *Whoooosh* A flame appears infront of luffy protecting him from the man. Luffy sees a anbu mask and similar hair features to himself except that he has a massive bead necklace around his neck.

The masked man stops and looks at the anbu member. The anbu member rushes at The man with his hand seemingly on fire.

The masked man dodges the attack and what it seems string come his fingertips as he attachs it onto clouds and swings away away.

Luffy looks at the anbu. The anbu looks at luffy

" Luffy..." A teenage sounding voice said through the mask. Before luffy could question anything he's knocked out by the anbu mask and everything goes black...

Timeskip 1 day*

Luffy slowly opens his eyes. Luffy groans as he remembers last night. Sitting beside him is a sleeping naruto on his lap..."Must have been here with me all night huh." Luffy says this while smiling. Feeling movement naruto jumps off and hugs Luffy. "I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEEEEEAAAAAD!!!" Naruto says crying. Suddenly the third hokage entered the hospital room.

"Ahhh I see Your finally awake luffy." The elderly third hokage said. "What do you want old man" Luffy said with a frown. Luffy didn't really like the third hokage for letting danzo speak out on the demon fox being inside naruto.

"Luffy meet me at my office at 5pm we have to talk about what happened yesterday night." The elderly man said walking out. "Naruto leave.. I need time to think" Luffy said

Despite not wanting to naruto left knowing what happened to luffy.

Luffy sat in thought he was very disappointed in himself if that man wasn't there he would have died. He felt completely powerless against the masked man. Luffy clenched his fist angry at how useless he was In that situation.

Timeskip few hours*

Luffy is seen inside the third hokages office.

"Now luffy I'm sure you know why your here" The third hokage said seriously. Luffy nodded

Luffy started explaining what happened...

"ahhh I see" The third hokage says.

"Well Luffy that's about 40% of it". The elderly man says sighing. Luffy looks at the third hokage confused. "Itachi Uchiha has killed the entirety of the Uchiha clan excluding sasuke Uchiha his little brother.Despite being a powerful shinobi it was impossible for him to do it alone. We thought there was only 1 more person with him but with you said there's 2. From the description you gave me the person you fought seems to be doflamingo or called by the underworld Doffy. He's a powerful man in the bingo book said to have string related powers and other power that we don't know have. He's also a pirate with a big crew that branches throughout the entire world. Due to this its hard to keep up with him" 3rd hokage said. "Well carry on then luffy your not required to be here anymore" the third hokage said shooing luffy away.

Luffy without responding walked out and immediately went to the local library. He went to the Ninjustu side and saw "Devil fruits" Interested he went to that section and a read a book called "What are devil fruits?" " A devil fruit is a natural born ability that comes forth randomly. Devil fruit abilities can be good or bad. Devil fruit abilities can be a variety of things from transformations to elemental manipulation on a high extent. The most well known devil fruit users are Katakuri,Kaido,Big mommaa,Doflamingo,Whitebeard,Crocodiles, Buggy,Kuma and more but we can't fit all of them in this one book hahaha. Anyways Devil fruits users are a rare specimen that are hunted down and killed if there ability is to good. Keep in mind thee are more stuff known but that's for YOU to find out"

Luffy closed the book and now with confirmation knew that he had a devil fruit. Not wanting to get hunted down. Luffy left the library and went home. "I'm never going to lose like that again " Luffy said in a reassuring manner.

Timeskip Academy graduation*

All the students are shown to be slowly called in for graduation. "MONKEY D. LUFFY" Luffy a 13 year old. Tall black hair black eyes with a shining smile. Walks into the room "Alright Luffy you know the deal" Iruka says with a smile "Clone justu" Luffy yells while making a second luffy. "Transformation justu! Substitution Justu " Doing all 3 easily luffy passed the exam flawlessly. Luffy walks back into the classroom with a headband on his forehead. "NARUTO UZUMAKI" Naruto walked in and already knew what to do "SHADOW CLOOOONE JUSTU!" Naruto yelled out.

Flashback*

"Hey luffy I still can't do a clone how will I past the test " Naruto said with a massive frown.

"Well maybe if you tried putting ALL your chakra into summoning as many clones as you can you will eventually get one right "Luffy said in a thinking pose.

"CLOOONE JUSTU!" Naruto yelled as 1000 clones appeared. "WAIT there physical. This is shadow clone jutstu AWESOME that's a A rank justu!" Luffy exclaimed. (Naruto had subconsciously used shadow clone justu.)

Shortly after naruto flawlessly the test everyone passed and sat In there class waiting for who there instructors will be.

"Due to a special request and uneven student there will be 1 solo team." Iruka said

Team 0 Led by Monkey D. Garp hero of marines Including Monkey D. Luffy.

Luffy being saddened by the fact he's not on narutos team was delighted to hear someone that famous and potential relative was his sensei. Shortly after senseis after senseis came eventually as Luffys sensei came in. Luffy waved goodbye to naruto and his team as garp and luffy went to a forest on the outskirts of the village.

"Alright brat I know you have questions but those can be answered later let's tell about eachother first. My name is Monkey D. Garp the hero of the marines. That's all you need to know currently." Garp said while picking his nose.

"My name is Monkey D. Luffy I dream to have a crew of mine but at the same time not abandone the village. Kinda like a squad. That's all YOU need to know right now. Oh yeah I'm sure you know this but I'm a Devil fruit user"Luffy said looking at garp.

"Ahh I see what's your devil fruit ability"Garp said interested in luffy. "I'm a rubber man I can do everything rubber can do" Luffy says with a smirk.

Garp nods already thinking of the things luffy could do.

Narutos POV*

3 Kunai flies across a Grey haired man named Kakashi with a headband across one of his eyes. Naruto rushes at the man and enters his piercing fox stance. Aiming for Kakashi stomach Kakashi used a substitution Justu. "Ahh DAMMIT not this again" Naruto groans.

Naruto sasuke had been trying to get Kakashi bells and it never worked.. Even when they all teamed up and set up a non Escapable trap HE STILL ESCAPED.

Ring ring ring* The bell on the log started ringing.

Flashback* "Alright you 3 will be trying to take these 2 bells from me whoever has a bell won't be sent back to the academy. " Said Kakashi

Flashback end*

Sakura is tied up on a log while naruto and sasuke eat infront of her. " Ahh DAMMIT" Naruto says feeding Sakura. Suddenly Kakashi appears with a enraged face " You- YOU passed." Kakashi says having a smile on his face.

Everybody confused Kakashi explains "A person who abandons his mission is trash. But a person who abandons his comrades and friends are below trash" Kakashi says smiling.

Luffys pov*

Luffy is shown walking home as his training session was cut short due to marines needing garps assistance.

Tired as hell Luffy decides that he should get rest and sleeps on the couch not having enough strength to move any further..

Garps POV*

"YEAH yeah I want to teach my grandson what's the problem" Garp says picking his nose. A pale skinned man with a black afro sighs. "Alright do as you please Keep in mind anything bad that comes from this WILL be put on you" Sengoku says with a serious face Garp nods in response knowing what he's doing.

Narutos pov*

Naruto enters his house to see luffy knocked out on the couch luffy carries him and puts him on his bed smiling before closing the door. Luffy snores not knowing how hellish garps training is...
