Luffy opens his eyes jumping up and taking a shower. "No No I'm going to be late!"Luffy yells quickly puts on clothes and yells "NARUTOOOOOOOO WAKE UP!!!" Luffy screams
Luffy rushed out of his house and ran towards the forest. "GUM GUM... ROCKET" Luffy yells with 2 outstretched arms grabbing onto a pole.
Luffy flies through the air and once on the ground runs to the forest. Luffy arrives at the forest and sees garp sleeping. Luffy sits down and waits for garp to wake-up.
Timeskip 10 minutes*
Luffy getting impatient garp tries to punch him. Garp moved slightly to the right. "What???" Luffy says with question in his voice. Luffy tried again to punch garp but his head again moved slightly to the left this time. "He's sleeping How is this possible?????" Luffy exclaims. Garp suddenly jumps up surprising luffy. Luffy jumps back In surprise. "Ahhh aha luffy that's called Haki " Garp says with a smirk. "Haki is like chakra but different" Garp says while sitting down. "Haki is the combination of willpower spiritual energy and presence. Combining all of those give you haki" Garp explains.
"Theres 3 types of haki. Observation haki. Armament haki and conquerors haki." Garp says in a teacher manner. Luffy sits down besides garp and says "What does each different type do.?" Garp looks at luffy "Armament haki gives a black coating to your body that increases defense and attack power. It also allows you
to touch intangible elements.. Observation haki allows you to sense the living energy in people to get a general location of where they are and allows you to predict movement's. Kinda like...Like... what do you people call it.. The sharingan? Yeah the sharingan. Lastly conquerors haki is just forcing your willpower on others knocking them out if there willpower isn't high enough.
Steam comes out luffys head trying to remember all of that. Garp sighs "I'll be teaching you the basics of haki and help you with your devil fruit abilities from there on you can only progress your abilities development through hardships and battle." Garp says.
Luffy grins "Then Let's get to it!" Luffy yells!
Narutos POV*
Naruto sasuke and Sakura are all waiting for Kakashi to show up "GRRR that Damn sensei can't even show up on time for his own god Damm students!!!" Inner Sakura yells. Even the usually calm and composed sasuke was starting to get impatient. Naruto was an inch away from punching something. "DAMMIT luffy is going to run ahead of me what the hell is this teacher doing." Naruto exclaims inside his head.
Poof* Kakashi appears in a cloud of smoke.
"WHERE THE HELLLL WERE YOU??" Sakura yells as loud as a banshee. Kakashi gives his usual eye smile and says "Calm down kids. Today we're going to be going on missions." Naruto and sasuke ears perk up finally expecting action. "D rank missions" Kakashi says with a eye smile. The student groan in sadness.
Luffys POV*
"Cmon luffy This is easy Why are you taking so long?" Garp says with a wide smile. Both luffy and garp are seen climbing up a mountain with one hand. The other hand behind there back. Luffy makes it on top of the mountain drenched in sweat. Luffy grins "I can already feel my body getting stronger!"

"Yeah we'd like to request one C rank mission." Kakashi says with his usual eye smile "Alright here's one Your gonna protect tazuna on his way to the land of waves and help him build his bridge" The elderly third hokage say. Suddenly a drunk man burst through the door. "These are going to be the brats Guarding me? Pft only formidable looking one here is gray hair" Tazuna says with a burp.
"No worries sir I assure you there worthy enough" Kakashi says with a eye smile. Both sasuke and naruto are excited to finally do something. "Alright Sakura,Naruto,Sasuke go get ready meet up in 1 hour at konoha Gates.
Both sasuke naruto and Sakura ran. Towards there homes excited.

Naruto arrived home to see luffy not there...again. Luffy hasn't been home for a whole month. Atleast he knew luffy was okay,since he could hear luffy coming back at 4am then randomly leaving around 5am. Naruto felt jealous,luffy was probably training hard and leagues ahead of him by now. No worries this mission will help him catch up naruto hoped.

Team 7 is shown at the Konoha's Gates "Alright kids let's get going " Kakashi says. Team 7 walks out of the village at a normal pace for a Team. Kakashi notices that tazuna seems to Be a little nervous but he brushes it off. While walking Naruto starts speaking "Kakashi-Sensei can we start taijustu and Ninjustu training after this mission Naruto says anxiously. "Woah Naruto no need to get so angsty" Kakashi says with his eye smile.
"Kakashi-Sensei I can't be outdone by luffy he's probably training super hard right now " Naruto says clenching his bag. Kakashi goes In deep thought. He's heard about that boy before the one with the rubber powers, Or a devil fruit. Only jonins know this information. But still i can see why Naruto wants to catch up a devil fruit user vs a devil fruit is a big disadvantage. Maybe he might actually have to speed up there training.
Suddenly Naruto throws a kunai Into the bush.
"Naruto!!!! what are you doing you scared the hairs off of me !" Sakura yells. "Sorry Sakura-chan.. I just thought I sensed something !" Naruto says with a slooping face.
Naruto again throws a kunai at a different bush. This time is hits a snow colored bunny right above its head. This time Sakura punches Naruto. "NARUTO!!!!" Kakashi looks at the snow colored rabbit and immediately realizes.
"EVERYONE DUUUUCK!!" Kakashi yells while ducking down.
Sakura pulls naruto down as sasuke ducks.
Thick mist appears and a giant sword flies above Team 7s head by barely a few inches. Everyone pulls out weapons and prepares for a attack. "how'd you know? " A mysterious outline in the thick mist says. "It's spring.. It should be impossible for a White rabbit to be here in this season. The only possible solution would be that's its a substitution pet." Kakashi says clenching his kunai. "Hmph I don't know what I was expecting from Kakashi the copy cat Ninja"
The thick mist clears a little bit and a pale Grey colored eyes with black hair a giant sword and a white face mask. "Zabusa momochi.. One of the 8 hidden swordsman of the mist." Kakashi says.
"Kakashi- sensei what's the 8 hidden swordsman of the mist" Sasuke says not taking his eyes away from Zabusa. "Not now sasuke " Kakashi says getting ready for battle. "GO AND GUARD TAZUNA " Kakashi yells. Zabusa smirks. "Some smurfs aren't gonna keep me away." Zabusa says this then disappears Zabusa re appears swinging his sword at tazuna. Kakashi quickly runs towards tazuna and blocks the attack with a kunai of his own. Zabusa kicks Kakashi into the lake nearby and the real battle starts.
Zabusa dashes off towards Kakashi as swings his giant sword towards Kakashi's neck. Kakashi blocks the attack straining against Zabusa sword massive Sword. Zabusa swings his sword sideways. "SUBSTITUTION JUSTU " Kakashi replaces with a nearby log, and rushes at Zabusa from the behind swinging a kunai at his neck. Kakashi kunai makes contact with water as zabusa did the water style body flicker.
Zabusa rushes at Kakashi and grabs his arm "WATER STYLE WATER PRISON " Zabusa Yells.
Kakashi gets entrapped in a water prison being forced to put chakra into his lungs. Kakashi tries to yell for his team to get out of there but to them it's just gurgles of water.
Naruto realized what happening rushes at zabusa. Zabusa makes a water clone that slams the sword sideways into naruto's stomach knocking the air out of his lungs.
Sasuke tries his hand. "FIRE STYLE FIREBALL JUSTU!" Sasuke launched at decent sized scorching fire ball at The water clone. "WATER STYLE WATER BULLETS" The clone yells. Both justus clash making steam at Sasuke steps back sweating. Sakura tries throwing multiple at the water clone as he blocks it effortlessly.
Team 7 excluding Kakashi regroups at tazuna and makes a plan *Inaudible dialogue* Sasuke rushes at the water clone with a Fuma shuriken in hand. He throws the fuma shuriken at maximum speed towards the water clone. The water clone is forced to dodge it as it comes rushing at the real Zabusa. "Heh" Zabusa says jumping over the fuma shuriken. Zabusa gives them a cocky smile from under his mask. *Poof* As the fuma shuriken transforms into Naruto he Hurled a kunai at Zabusa.
Zabusas eyes widen as he has no choice but to let go of the water prison. Kakashi burst out of the water prison as he stands still. "Thanks for the help kids.. but I got this from here" Kakasji says as he pulls up his Headband. Sasuke eyes widen " A- A Sharingan!!" Sasuke starts questioning things as Kakashi says "Don't worry about it sasuke we can talk later". Zabusa gets serious as they both doing handsigns.
"Ox monkey Dog cat Wolf Fox" Both of them start doing the exact same justu. Zabusa gets paranoid as he yells "STOP COPYING ME YOU COPY CAT MONKEY" Zabusa Yells this as 2 water dragons come clashing at eachother.
"Now to show you my only move created by me!" Kakashi yells "RAI-" 3 needles hit zabusa hit in the neck as he drops dead. A Black haired figure in a mist hunting nin uniform appears. "Thank you. The mist has been hunting down zabusa for months now" The person says picking up the lifeless body of zabusa.
Kakashi to tired to do anything nods. As soon as the black haired figure left he drops exhausted. Team 7 and tazuna carry Kakashi to a boat Kakashi very tired still wants tazuna to explain why zabusa is targeting him on a C rank Mission. Tazuna explains that he is being hunted by a rich man and he's hired Zabusa to kill him and his family. Kakashi and team 7 think hard about if there gonna continue this mission. Both Sasuke and naruto agree seeing as they want to gain more power. Sakura seeing sasuke agree also agrees Kakashi sighs then falls down.
Being to tired to do anything... We see team 7 at tazunas family house. *Knock Knock* The door open slightly as then it opens wide. To show a woman of age. "Dad!" The woman yells Tazuna hugs the woman back " Tsunami I've managed to get here safe. thanks to this amazing team." Tazuna praises the team. Tsunami seeing the inured sensei. quickly lead him to one of the Guest rooms.
Time skip 1 hour later*
Kakashi gathered everybody to have a meeting.
He suspected that Zabusa was alive due to the hunter nin not immediately burning the body, and that they have likely a week before they have to go and fight zabusa.
Kakashi sighed as he wrote a letter to the third hokage and used his dog summoning justu to send it to the hokage.
Kakashi with crutches got team 7 outside to
Learn tree walking. "We already know how to climb trees" Sakura says. Kakashi then eye smiles and walked up the tree with his feet only.
Kakashi informs them that they have to put chakra into there feet and make that chakra equal to the trees surface.
Naruto and sasuke and Sakura start doing it as Sakura has a clear advantage due to having less chakra to control. Naruto grins knowing he's gonna get this down.
Hokages office*
Luffy burst through the door. Grinning.
"Hokage-Sama why was I called" Luffy says with
question in his voice. "Luffy. Team 7 has encountered zabusa while they are defeat him...barely. There sensei is requesting assistance as there might be more people involved in this. Seeing as how your progress has been I'm sure you can do this. This is a solo mission and I advise you go NOW" The hokage says calmy..
Luffy runs out the hokages window and runs towards the gates of the village. Luffy grinning yells "HERE I GOOO" As he runs out the village.
Team 7 POV*
Sakura sits ontop of the tree chuckling at naruto and sasuke trying there hardest to get ontop of the tree. "DINNNNERS READY" Tsunami says to the kids as they run inside. While eating a young boy comes out from a room and says. "Your all going to die." "INARI" Tsunami yells "Don't say those things!" Inari frowns "BUT THEY ARE GATO IS INVINCIBLE" Inari yells Naruto gets up and says "No One's invincible kid were gonna beat up that Gato dude no matter what!" Naruto yells!!!.
Inari and naruto have a heated argument as Kakashi stops them. Inari runs back into his room and slams the door hard.

Tsunami opens the door to see a decently tall black haired boy. "Hey! I'm Monkey D. Luffy Im backup for team 7" Luffy says. Kakashi peaks over tsunamis head and assures Tsunami that he's the reinforcements. Kakashi takes a good look at the boy. He looks fairly trained but where's his sensei? "Hey Boy where your sensei Kakashi says with question "Nahh I went here solo I'm confident in my abilities. Kakashi goes wide eyed could the hokage really be that confident in his abilities.??
Naruto runs past Kakashi and hugs luffy "LONG TIME NO SEE!!!" Naruto yells. Sasuke hearing the ruckus. Looks behind Kakashi to see luffy.."Hey I know you " Sasuke says with a smirk. Sakura Looks at luffy but then looked away to go back to admiring over sasuke.
Kakashi gestures Luffy to follow him.
Once in the middle of the forest Kakashi says
"I want to test your abilities " with a eye smile. Luffy nods and disappears. Kakashi Blocks a kick that aimed for his head "not bad" Kakashi says. Luffy rushes at Kakashi and starts an onslaught of attacks on Kakashi. Kakashi blocks a punch from luffy and punches him in the stomach. To his surprise it didn't do any noticeable dmg to luffy as luffy threw a kick at Kakashi. Kakashi jumps back."Why aren't you going full power I need to test your full abilities " Kakashi says already being bored of this fight.
Luffy grins and says "You asked me to!" Luffy rushes at Kakashi and pulls back his arm "GUM GUM..PISTOL" Kakashi surprised but not offguard. Barely dodges the attack. "GUM GUM..BAZOOKA" Luffy yells pulling back his arms and throwing them towards Kakashi. Kakashi substitutes the attack with a rock and the rock is shattered to pieces.
"Is this it??Quite disappointing" Kakashi says.
Luffy frowns and rushes at Kakashi. "GUM GUM .. GATLING" Mutiple punches comes from luffy so quick that it seems like his punches multiplied as Kakashi barely dodges his attack with one attack hitting his arm. "He actually hit me.. interesting" Kakashi says in his thoughts.
"If this is really all you have then you shouldn't have come here Kakashi says taunting Luffy
Luffy frowns more. "Let's see how he does against Ninjustu" " FIRE STYLE FIRE BALL JUSTU " Kakashi yells! A fire ball comes rushes towards luffy as luffys frowns turns upside down as his hands start getting coated in a black looking armor . "GEAR...3RD GIGANTO PISTOL!!" Luffy yells As a massive fits punches straight through the fire ball as Kakashi in surprise gets hit by the attack full force.
Kakashi gets Blown back Breaking multiple trees. Kakashi gets up with blood coming from his nose and feels his ribcage Crack a tiny bit.
Kakashi looks at luffy who is drenched in sweat.
"That took a-alot out of me Is this enough to prove my worthiness?" Luffy says with hard breaths. Kakashi nods and he and luffy walk back. Team 7 questions the injuries both Kakashi and luffy has but they both say it was a little spar.

Naruto and sasuke sit at the top of the trees ready to go fight zabusa and his apprentice tomorrow.

We see a very short man handing money to a Boy. A boy with 3 swords and a bandana. "Kill those brats and I'll TRIPLE this amount" The boy nods and grins. Zabusa walks into the room and says "So this is gonna be my Help huh? Your assuming haku won't be enough for those brats pft" Zabusa says. "Just making sure" GATO says with a grin.
"This man here is Ninja hunter Zoro. I think he'll be a good fit for you" Gato says grinning...
