Chapter 5
After Golly's revival, Ash, Golly, and Alice are now back at Kalos Region, where they are talking with Valerie and Wulfric. "So you want to join Team Alpha? Alice? Are you sure you can handle the missions given to you by Team Alpha?" Valerie asks with a stern tone.
"I can." Alice says. "I'm strong. I'm very strong. As such, I am capable of doing everything. Even if I'm going to do it alone."
"Who said you're going to do alone?" Ash says. "I am not going to let you do something dangerous alone. I'll accompany you if it is possible."
Seeing how close the two are, Wulfric says, "I guess it can't be helped. Looks like our daughter really is loyal to Ash all this time."
"I can tell..." Valerie says, "So when are we going to plan the wedding of you two? Maybe I can help you with the wedding dress."
Ash and Alice are blushing with Golly and Pikachu chuckling at each other. Ash says, "Well... we have been thinking of doing it a month later...but that is if you two agree..."
"Why wouldn't we agree? You are always Alice's prince of shining armor." Wulfric says. "Without you, Alice would've been either sold as a slave or dead back in Kanto."
"Really? Thank you, Mom! Dad!" Alice hugs both Wulfric and Valerie with happiness. Ash also smiles at them before they leave. While traveling around the regions, Golly also captures some Pokemon, mostly Poison, Ghost, and Dark Type Pokemon.
While continuing traveling and visiting the families as the mission for Team Alpha, on the road, Ash, Golly, and Alice manage to recruit 5 orphans who eventually become a family members for them.
The first one is Mark, he was treated as garbage in the famous resort in the Hoenn Region, eventually, Ash and Alice murder the owners in cold blood and adopt him. The second one is Minami, she was a slave to Team Rocket just like Ash's mother in the past. And it is because of it that Ash and Golly decide to take her in after Team Rocket is gone. Aurora also likes her since she saw her past self in her.
The third one is Argo, he had been doing a lot of stealing and killing in the streets of Unova, all he did was for survival, which is why they decided to offer him a home. The fourth one is Trenor, an orphan from the Alola Region, he didn't get along well with the other orphans, and he had been causing a lot of trouble. And finally, Insey was abandoned by her parents since they were hunters and they didn't want to raise a child. The hunters were also killed in cold blood with Ash, Alice, and Golly's help.
After Team Rocket's disbandment, the government of the 8 regions decided to get rid of the biggest threat: Team Alpha. They start to tell everyone through newspapers and reports that they are an evil team who will do anything to gain what they want, especially by means of killing. However, the only problem is that they don't know who the members of Team Alpha are.
And the way that Team Alpha contacts each member is through the secret badge. Each of them hides the badge inside their clothes so that they won't be found out. Ash and Alice are now sitting in Helen's Kitchen located in Motostoke City, they are having a date and they are chatting with each other. But unknown to them, they are spotted by Ash's former travel companions, who decide to gather around.
"Is that Ash and Alice? What the hell are those two doing here?" Iris asks, they decide not to make a scene for fear that Ash would try to kill them. But they are also curious as to what they are doing.
Alice asks, "So Ash, how is Pikachu's training going on? Is he going to be fine?"
"Without Golly's soul inside him, he's now being in par with Charizard and Sceptile. Those two are proud that they can give him a hard time, but Pikachu refuses to give up after all." Ash says. "And by the way, Alice. Are you still going to try the Kalos Showcases?"
Alice shakes her head and says, "Being a Kalos Queen is just a dream that I discovered after traveling with you, and then I have tried out Contests and eventually tried becoming idols with Lisia. Right now I just want to spend my time with you."
Ash smiles, "I see. I'm really to have someone like you by my side."
Everyone is surprised, they can't believe Ash and Alice have finally confessed their feelings to each other. Now they all feel like they're the third wheel.
Ash stares at the scarf and says, "Come to think about it, how long has it been since I gave you the scarf?"
Alice holds the scarf and says, "12 years. It keeps me warm in this cold and unforgiving world."
Ash says, "It really brings back memories... are you going to wear that in our wedding as well?"
"Of course, and the blue ribbon you gave me when we were traveling Kalos together." Alice gives him a wink.
"Ash and Alice are getting married?" The others can't believe what they're hearing.
Alice says, "By the way, Ash. Did we give out all the wedding invitations?"
"Of course." Ash says. "All 18 families are going to attend the royal wedding in the Rota Kingdom, they're going to do the same thing just like my Mother and my Father's wedding. Lillie and Dawn also seem to be excited to attend our wedding as well."
"Of course, they are, Lisia and Rosa have been talking to me on the phone all night long because of the news." Alice sighs. "Can you tell me the story of how your father and your mother fall in love with each other?"
Ash says, "Ah, because of some things, I can't fully reveal to you. Let's say that my Mom used to work with Team Rocket as an assassin. Giovanni wanted her to assassinate my father and gain information about his special powers. However, my mother never found a chance to assassinate him because of how kind he is to her. Eventually, my father persuaded my mother to leave Team Rocket, and he would protect her from it. That's the full story."
"So that's also the reason why Team Rocket has been trying to stalk you and attack your family... because of your mother, right?" Alice asks.
"Losing her is just like losing the main weapon of Team Rocket." Ash shakes his head. "My Mom told me this. If You Win, You Live. If You Lose, You Die. If You Don't Fight, You Can't Win."
"That's why you saved me from those sex traffickers back in Kanto and killed those people in cold blood." Alice says.
"Yeah. And that scarf, I'll Wrap It Around You Again... As Many Times As You Want. Now And Forever. That's A Promise!" Ash smiles.
"A promise... of course." Alice smiles.
Now everyone doesn't know how to feel about Ash right now, during that night, they have to treat Ash as a monster, but deep down, they start to regret everything. Alice knows the real Ash, and that's why the two of them are this close.
"But still... I don't think killing is an option... he is acting just like those Team Alpha people..." Max says.
"Ash and his mother were the ones who stopped all the evil teams in the 8 regions, I don't think he would be a member of Team Alpha, right?" Clemont asks.
Alice says, "So Ash, what do you think about the news of Team Alpha? I heard that all the 8 regions are putting on a bounty of them."
Ash knows that the wall has ears, and they have to be careful since one of the pedestrians might report what they've heard to the government. He says, "If I want to state my opinion, the government didn't actually give us the identities of Team Alpha. Just by seeing the article, I thought they are treating every criminal Team Alpha member."
Alice knows what Ash is doing and asks, "So Ash, do you know any members of Team Alpha?"
Ash says, "I don't know, but I have heard a rumor about them, each member of Team Alpha has a badge in their outfit that is capable of communicating, that's why the police never found out who they are."
Alice says, "I heard that their goal is to take over all 8 governments, which is why the governments are spreading the news so that they won't come out in the open right now, right?"
"Why are you asking me? I may have gathered some information from my Mother since she was from Team Rocket, but I don't know more about it." Ash says. "But then again, after destroying those evil teams, I have been wondering why they have all that power to do something like this... what if the government's behind this?"
"Why do you think so?" Alice asks.
"Take Lysandre for an example. Where did he get the funds to do all those things back in Kalos? Even though he is the head of Lysandre Labs, the money earned by Holo Casters wasn't enough for the whole Megalith thing." Ash says.
"You're right. But we can worry about that later, right now, we're relaxing." Alice says.
"You're right." Ash says as they decide to leave the restaurant.
The others are processing what they've heard from Ash, and Chloe says, "So Ash and Alice are aware of the existence of Team Alpha. But all they've found are just rumors."
"And I wonder what's the government's involvement with Team Flare..." Clemont asks. "Do you think the others, like Team Rocket, and Team Galactic, are also connected to the government?"
"So it means we can't trust others except ourselves." Goh mutters. "But still, they say that they're going to have a wedding in Rota, but why didn't they give us the wedding invitations?"
"Are you serious? From what we've said to them back in Kanto, do you seriously believe Ash would want to see us again?" Brock asks. "All we did is brand him a monster just because he kills, not because of why he kills."
They decide to rush towards Ash and Alice, hoping they're not leaving yet, but then they find them in an alleyway as the helicopter from Marco Cosmos arrives. Rose is the one opening the door and says, "Come in."
Ash and Alice nod as they get into the helicopter before taking off. Goh stares in shock and asks, "How is that possible? That's Chairman Rose."
"Chairman Rose?" Brock asks.
"He was supposed to be evil, he summoned Eternatus who created the Darkest Day..." Goh asks. "Why is Ash with him?"
"Maybe he has a change of heart?" Mallow asks. "Though I want to know what Ash's relation with one of the wealthiest people in the world."
"Me too." Clemont says. "Macro Cosmos is quite the figurehead in the Galar Region."
The others can only sigh as they're not going to get answers from Ash and Alice.
And here is a new chapter, as you can see, some of you ask me about Alice, she will be the replacement for Serena in this story, Serena never exists in this story, but trust me, Alice has done the same thing as Serena during the journeys. I hope you like this chapter.
