Chapter 1422

Slow Loving Touches

Cameron put the robe on Jim handed to her. She went into the hall from the private area. She approached Leticia's suite and quietly entered. She peeked in the bedroom and was very surprised at what she witnessed.

Sheila and Leticia were sharing. It was different than the wild and passionate sex she'd witnessed earlier. Leticia wasn't just sharing her body. She was sharing 'herself'. They were slow loving touches.

It looked quite beautiful to Cameron. She decided to stay and watch them really make love. She was sure Sheila and Leticia were in love with each other. At least Leticia was really in love with Sheila.

Ken and Lou were in the Blackhawk. They received a new mission. They were already in the air when they were given the new coordinates by CamNet. They headed the Blackhawk inland. There was a new 'cargo' mission. It seemed they would be back over the water soon enough.

Dan and Frank were also directed inland. They were given a new mission as well to assist Young Allison. It didn't look like their drive along the coast was going to happen.

Mel waited with Hank and Larry. They made sure everything was secure with the bodies and the disabled SUV. It was ready for transport to the 'deep blue'.

"I hear it." Hank said.

They could all hear the Blackhawk as it approached in the darkness.

Ken piloted the big copter and made a circular pass over those waiting below. Lou tossed out the cables to secure the SUV below the helicopter. Mel, Hank and Larry got everything ready in a short while. The Blackhawk hovered over them. They climbed up on top of the SUV and into the helicopter. There were now five Terminators on board.

They all put headphones on. Lou moved back into the copilot's seat.

"We may have one more body to add." Mel said.

Mel indicated where the green sedan was at.

Ken lifted the SUV off the ground and headed in the direction indicated. He kept the speed slow and the altitude low.

Savannah listened to the interrogation conducted by Richard and Michael.

Cammy was an active participant as well.

Savannah moved the SUV right up in back of where they were at as the Terminators conducted the 'interview'.

It seemed like things were just about finished to Savannah. She took out her M9 and walked to where the three Terminators were at.

"Did you get what you needed?" Savannah asked.

Cammy was dissatisfied.

"We got some things." Cammy said.

In the light from the SUV's headlights, Savannah could see the driver's face was covered in blood. It looked like one eye had been knocked out of the socket. It seemed to bulge out of the battered skull anyway.

The driver didn't seem very talkative any longer.

Richard looked the driver over. The interrogation had been very thorough.

"They will terminate in a few minutes." Richard said. "There's massive internal bleeding."

Savannah was about to use her M9 and finish it. The driver looked in her direction.

"Bitch…. Whore…. 'Metal Lover'…." The driver gasped out. "Rot… in… Hell…."

Cammy swiftly moved forward and planted her foot on the driver's back to hold them in place. She pulled their head back with one hand by the hair. With her other hand she reached down and grasped the driver's neck.

"You will learn to show some respect in front of a lady." Cammy said.

Cammy crushed his windpipe. She dropped the body back to the ground.

The driver thrashed around wildly.

Savannah didn't like what they'd called her. She went to put her M9 away. She was going to let them wither in agony. She paused and took it back out. She took aim at the thrashing figure and fired one round into their head.

The movement stopped. Their impact didn't.

"Let's go." Savannah said.

Cammy received an update from John Henry.

"The Blackhawk with the SUV and bodies will be here in one minute to collect this one." Cammy said.

Savannah looked over at the green sedan.

"What about the car?" Savannah asked.

Michael quickly looked it over. He took anything of value out of it along with the driver's rifle. It was a stainless steel Mini-14.

"There is no indication of violence." Michael said. "We can leave it. It will look like another abandoned car. It's no longer operable."

Cammy ushered Savannah back into their SUV when the helicopter approached.

"I don't want you covered in dust or hit by any flying debris." Cammy said.

Savannah and Cammy sat in the front of the SUV and watched Richard and Michael load the body in the disabled SUV suspended below the helicopter as it hovered. They gave Ken a 'thumbs up' and the Blackhawk lifted up and departed. They watched it disappear into the night sky.

Richard and Michael dusted off and got into the back of the SUV.

Savannah wanted to keep things moving.

"What's the best way out to get to where we need to go?" Savannah asked.

Cammy checked the maps she contained on file.

"Do you want to reinforce Young Allison or visit the location the driver gave up?" Cammy asked.

Savannah wanted to back up Young Allison. They also needed to take care of business before any of the anti-Metal group got away. They weren't done yet.

"We need to finish this first." Savannah said.

Cammy nodded.

"Continue down the dirt road in the direction the green sedan was headed." Cammy said.

Savannah started out on the dirt road. There was a nagging fear the ambushes weren't over yet. The driver of the green sedan wanted them on this road if they made it through the other ambush. There must be some kind of a surprise waiting for them.

"I don't want to end up in another ambush." Savannah said.

They passed the disabled green sedan.

"We will take some evasive action before we reach the target." Cammy said.

Savannah watched as the three Terminators went into a rotating standby schedule. It was reassuring; even if it wasn't reassuring they needed to do it in the first place. It indicated the seriousness of the situation.

She hoped the drones over them would spot something before it happened. They'd gone back up to a higher altitude. They wanted to make sure they stayed in the air.

Young Jesse was thrilled. She'd been with all the Metal girls and experienced multiple finishes. She thought Camille was about to join her again.

"I don't think I'll be much of a following act for a Metal girl." Allison said.

New excitement rushed through Young Jesse as she realized it was Allison. She hoped to make love to Allison. She'd just shared plenty of sex.

Young Jesse gave Allison a deep slow kiss.

Allison returned it the same way. She understood what Young Jesse wanted. It was love. It was something she was good at.

They started a meaningful love sharing session. There were plenty of slow loving touches. Those were what the non Metal girls wanted at the end of the day. They wanted to share the person more than just the act.

Young Allison was ready to stop the truck if it tried any fancy maneuvers.

Anna updated with John Henry when she came out of standby.

"Savannah's team has successfully taken down the ambush. No one was injured or damaged." Anna said. "All of the enemy were terminated."

Young Allison was briefed by John Henry already.

"She's also sent half her help to us once the SUV is dumped in the ocean." Young Allison said.

Anna wanted to end things before they ended up in an ambush.

"The truck is locked up for a missile strike at any time." Anna said. "Once it's isolated, I think we should take the shot."

Young Allison was given a detailed description of what went down with Savannah's teams. If the 'metal hail' from the drone gravity shots hadn't taken place when they did, the story could have ended differently. Right now she hoped to find a bigger prize. She wasn't sure what it was. She didn't think it would be the same thing Savannah faced.

"I'm still of the inclination they're going to lead us somewhere other than into an ambush." Young Allison said.

Anna didn't share the same belief. There was no factual data to back up Young Allison's assertation. Based on what happened with Savannah's team, it was clear the group was a serious threat. She didn't want to get caught up in an ambush either.

"Let's hope so." Anna said. "I don't want any of us getting shot up."

Anna went back into standby.

Young Allison remained in loose pursuit of the truck. The drones overhead would make sure she didn't lose it. Her order still stood. If the truck stopped, and the individuals ran from it, they were to be taken down.

None of them were going to get away.

Vanna opened her eyes. She was very sleepy. There'd been a lot of sexual activity on the ship. She was pleased to see 'Allison' was asleep next to her.

'Allison' stirred and gave Vanna a quick kiss.

Vanna figured she was awake now and so was 'Allison'. They might as well knock off a quickie and go back to sleep. A dose of endorphins did the body and mind some good.

She moved closer to 'Allison' and started in on her with slow loving touches.

Right away she noted the aggressive response. She recognized the chassis but she wasn't sure whose chip was in it.

"Cam, is it you?" Vanna asked.

Cam responded with a more aggressive kiss.

"Allison is with Holly." Cam said. "We're all back in our original chassis."

Vanna was very pleased to hear it. She forgot about being sleepy and concentrated on Cam. She liked it when everything was 'normal'.

All of the human girls preferred their Metal lovers in their usual chassis and sheath appearance. It was what they were all used to.

John reached over on Cameron's side of the bed. Nobody was there. He opened his eyes and looked around. He was alone. Right now it didn't bother him. He needed a break. He was sure Cameron would be back before the night was over and she wouldn't be alone. It was OK too. He was unsure he would get the opportunity to share any 'strange' once the cruise was over. It was OK too. There wasn't much left which was 'strange' at this point. Claire was the only one he hadn't been with, or a Terminator who shared her DNA. Well, Claire and his mother. He tried to push the last thought out of his head. He hadn't had those thoughts in years. Not sine he met Cameron anyway.

He looked forward to a new adventure before they disembarked. He wasn't sure how he would handle it if Cameron was there with Bob or Jim. If it was Cameron in control, he would go with it. He doubted there would be many slow loving touches at that point. He rolled over and went back to sleep.

Summer didn't like the close one Savannah's team just went through. She was sure her contribution helped them. She felt the response was a little too close for comfort. She wanted to do more.

She went over and listened at the door to her mother's room. It was quiet now. Jesse and her mother must be asleep right now. She left her room and headed for the Command Center. She wanted access to better equipment so she could assist better.

John Henry was surprised when Summer walked in the front door of the Command Center. He was usually only aware of her presence when she wanted him to be.

"I'm coming to help until Savannah and my sister are on their way home." Summer said. "Assisting right now is more important than any repercussions."

John Henry was pleased to hear it. He was aware of her contribution from her room. It proved to be quite decisive.

"Your input helped defeat the ambush set up for Savannah's team." John Henry said. "It was very innovative."

Summer didn't think it was enough.

"It was a start." Summer said. "More will need to be done before it's over."

John Henry could see Summer was in communication with CamNet. He was currently excluded from their dealings. He didn't want to ask.

"I can install more monitors for you." John Henry said.

Summer didn't think it was necessary.

"CamNet will cycle the screens faster for me." Summer said. "I don't think the ambushes are done yet."

John Henry didn't think so either. He felt once they'd identified a solid location, the drones should make a strike there. It would better safeguard the teams on the ground.

"I think the drones should play a bigger part in the next strike." John Henry said.

Summer was all for it. Right now she wanted to see all the daylight satellite images of the location where Savannah's team was headed. She needed to assess the terrain and rock formations. She wanted to identify all possible ambush locations someone could set up along the path. She knew additional EMP detonations probably wouldn't be the only weapon used against the team. They needed to consider some of the other things which had been used against the team as well.

The more Cameron watched Sheila and Leticia, the more she wanted to take Leticia into the Owner's Suite. It was something John should experience. She was still worried about the effect it would have on the human girls in the Resistance. None of them would be able to offer everything Leticia could offer, at least not in quite the same way.

It really made Cameron wonder if she thought it only because there was a chance Leticia might be able to conceive if she was with John. She knew she could take the baby away from Leticia too, one way or another. She needed to check herself. Savannah would disapprove highly of her intentions.

Cameron wanted to leave to go check on John but she was fascinated to watch Sheila and Leticia. She went to the connecting door to Mary and Laura's suite. They were back at it again. She liked what she saw there too.

She looked at Mary and Laura and back at Sheila and Leticia. She really wished Savannah was on the ship. Maybe it was time for them to consummate their love. She still wanted Savannah to be her 'first'. She was ready for a second, a third and so on right now. Since John was able to expand his 'selection', she should be able to do so as well. It seemed like less of an issue to her at this point.

The danger began to 'click' in Cameron's mind. Savannah and Young Allison were both dealing with personnel from the anti-Metal group. Maybe it was driving the whole thing she was watching now. Maybe it was the love being displayed. Maybe it was both. Maybe she'd better remember she was a Terminator with a job to do. It was her 'job' to make sure John was protected.

Cameron took one last look and left. She headed back to the Control Center. Maybe she would stop by and see John on the way there.

Young Allison closed up on the truck until she could see it. She knew she was in close. She drove in the other lane and not in back of it. She was still quite a ways behind it.

She received word Savannah was headed to a location the driver of the green sedan gave up before he was terminated. She was unaware Savannah shot the driver to put them out of their misery. She thought the Terminators finished them off.

Anna rebooted. John Henry filled her in. She noticed something else too.

"You're very close to the target vehicle." Anna said.

Young Allison was a little antsy.

"I think something is about to happen with them." Young Allison said. "Savannah has given up most of her help and is on her way to attack an anti-Metal target."

Anna was already aware of it from her 'speed transmission' from John Henry. She wanted to remind Young Allison of some of the options available to her.

"We can end this here now and redirect more resources to assist Savannah's team." Anna said.

It was tempting to Young Allison. She felt they'd already invested a lot of time and effort into the female prisoner.

"I want some finality out of this pursuit we're on." Young Allison said. "These people have to be going somewhere."

Anna hoped it wasn't around in circles or to another ambush for their teams. She wanted to give her a reminder about some of the other scenarios they'd faced. Not everything was what it appeared to be on multiple occasions.

"As far as we know, one of those two people could really be a Gray or a Fanatic." Anna said.

It was a thought which crept into Young Allison's mind. She believed the more of the enemy they could identify, the better.

"I'm aware of it." Young Allison said. "As long as we get some hard targets, I don't care who they are. They're all the enemy."

Anna watched the drone image of the truck and to see what was ahead of them as well.

"The truck is slowing." Anna said.

Young Allison hadn't observed any brake lights. They must have let off the gas and downshifted to slow the vehicle. She looked at the area around the vehicle.

"They're turning into a shopping center." Anna said.

Young Allison was afraid they'd 'made' her. She'd closed up to within visual range. She was still quite a way in back of the truck. She wasn't sure if it was a mall or not. If it was, the two people in the blue truck would probably try to make a run for it.

"They may try and get lost in the crowd." Young Allison said. "Is the tracker inside the prisoner still functioning?"

Anna already checked on it.

"Yes." Anna said. "I don't believe she can get to it by hand. It's a tight fit in there."

Young Allison knew they would be able to track the prisoner.

"It's the male driver of the truck we may lose if they split up." Young Allison said. "I'm going after him."

Anna wondered what for. It seemed like a bad idea, as well as a bad optic.

"Are you going to kill him?" Anna asked. "I don't think you'll be able to take him into custody by yourself."

Young Allison could picture the visual dynamic with people around. It was time to use some more decisive action.

"I want a drone to take a shot at him if one of us can't then." Young Allison said.

Anna didn't go back into standby. She wanted Young Allison to think about her choices more.

Randy rebooted. Anna filled him in. He believed he would be able to act in place of the drone.

"I can take a shot at him with a rifle." Randy said.

Young Allison thought a suppressed round from an M4 wouldn't draw too much attention. She hoped to keep whatever they did as clandestine as possible.

"I want to bring him down so the female prisoner doesn't see it if they've separated." Young Allison said. "We can track her. If she suspects foul play, she won't go back to her people."

Anna went back into standby as Young Allison closed up the gap.

Summer looked at dozens of images on each screen every few seconds. John Henry watched her. He could see she took it all in. It was impressive. He was convinced she was really either River or a clone of her at this point. He wasn't going to ask CamNet again about it. He didn't want to get locked out of his system. Every time he'd brought it up with Cameron, she always said she'd never done anything like that, 'yet'.

"My concern is with Allison - Young Allison's team." Summer said.

She wasn't used to referring to her sister as 'Young Allison'. She was aware everyone else was. At their home in Palmdale, she referred to both of them as Allison. It was their name. She didn't want people to look on the ship at Allison when she made the reference to 'Allison'.

John Henry followed the pursuit.

"She may run into an ambush if she turns in after them." John Henry said.

The thought crossed John Henry's mind to take the truck out now and be done with it. It could avoid a temporal mission later on if something happened to Young Allison. He was sure Savannah or Cameron would conduct one. She glanced over at Summer. He was pretty sure she would as well, with CamNet's assistance.

Summer weighed some of the other possibilities.

"A drone can get off a single shot, if the driver is walking, with accuracy from a long distance." Summer said.

John Henry nodded.

"You're correct." John Henry said.

Summer hated to get involved like this.

"You need to have Allison - Young Allison, stand down." Summer said.

John Henry was sure Young Allison was going to get a form of 'target fixation' and make a mistake. She possessed a lot of knowledge, but she lacked experience in the field. He wasn't sure how much influence he would have.

"I can advise her." John Henry said. "There's someone else she can be contacted by who she'll listen to if they warn her."

Summer poured over all her screens and drone images as she looked for an ambush at the shopping center.

"Savannah has enough to worry about." Summer said.

John Henry looked at Summer.

"I meant you." John Henry said. "She'll listen to you."

Summer looked over at John Henry. Maybe she would. They shared a very good and close relationship. There was never any arguing or fighting between them. Their bond was very special. She knew Young Allison trained her to be her 'replacement' for when she fell in combat. She wasn't ready to pick up the mantle quite yet. It was time to make the call.

Cameron stopped by to check on John. He was asleep. She was glad to see he wasn't awake and alone. She went to turn towards the door to the Control Center and looked back at the door of the Owner's Suite again. She was tempted to go and get one of the three girls and bring them there.

She was pretty sure if she got one of them, she would bring all of them, one at a time. She would start with Laura first. She would bring Mary next. She would bring Leticia last to top it off.

She resisted the impulse and went to the Control Center instead.

Jim concentrated on the two operations as they developed. He could see there was going to be some trouble over everything.

The door from the Owner's Suite opened and Cameron walked in.

Jim figured it would be some more trouble. It could be true on several levels as well.

They greeted each other and he handed her a cable to plug in. There was a lot happening and he thought it was best if she dealt directly with John Henry or CamNet over it. There was probably going to be some anger and he didn't want it directed at him.

Allison was really thrilled to be with Young Jesse. She felt Young Jesse was like Jesse in a lot of ways and unlike her in others. One thing was for sure, she enjoyed being with her. It was more like a 'loving version' of Sheila at this point. Her body was as flawless as Sheila's was.

She thought about herself. Her body healed up nicely over the years. Vanna and Jesse both still bore the scars of the future on them. It seemed Savannah was going to end up the same way too by the way she was run around nonstop.

"What's wrong?" Young Jesse asked.

Allison realized she'd zoned out a little. She didn't want to tell Young Jesse what her worry was. She knew it would become Young Jesse's worry as well. She decided to tell her the other thought on her mind instead.

"I was just thinking how beautiful you are." Allison said.

Young Jesse touched her cheek.

"You're beautiful too." Young Jesse said. "You're the human version of my Terminator lover. I enjoy sharing with you. Her beauty comes from you."

Allison wondered if maybe Young Jesse could reach Savannah on a personal level about taking it easy. She wanted to be up front with Young Jesse about some of her bedroom activities. She didn't want any hard feelings.

"I'm with Savannah sometimes." Allison said.

Young Jesse asked Savannah about it before.

"She told me how beautiful it was to share with you." Young Jesse said. "I can reaffirm it myself."

Allison wanted a few allies. She wanted to tiptoe around the issue, but she wanted to bring it out. It seemed like the right time.

"Savannah is always in combat." Allison said. "Her body is taking a beating something fierce."

Young Jesse wasn't aware as to the extent of any damage. It wasn't news she wanted to hear. She looked concerned now.

"She never mentioned it to me." Young Jesse said. "I read the after action reports. I actually study them with Camille. There's no indication of any damage or injuries to Savannah in any of them."

Allison went on to tell Young Jesse all the things she didn't 'hear' or read about. Young Jesse was quite worried when she was done filling her in.

Camille and Holly stopped their sexual activity and paused to listen to the 'off the books' report Allison gave Young Jesse.

Gail told them not to violate their privacy. She'd listened too because it was about Savannah. What they discussed bothered her greatly as well. She would need to back up Savannah more often, even if it was done clandestinely. She would go directly to CamNet for her assistance. She didn't have any doubt CamNet would do what she could to protect Savannah. She'd acted as CamNet's 'Enforcer' before.

She often thought of the night when Savannah saved her from termination. She also thought of the night they'd spent together one time. She was damaged at the time. Savannah told her it didn't matter. Everything Savannah did made her love her more.

Cammy followed the terrain visually and checked their position on the drone overlay maps of the satellite images. There would soon be several choices available to them.

"There are three ways off of the dirt road." Cammy said.

Savannah wondered what the set up was. It sounded like an ambush location if they were going to get one pulled on them.

"Are they all at the same point?" Savannah asked. "I don't want to get ambushed."

Cammy worried about it too. She knew John Henry was on it.

"There are drones doing 'recon by fire' in front of us at any suspicious locations." Cammy said.

Savannah wondered how long it would be before they found a group of dirt bikers or backpackers who'd decided to camp for the night. There was a good chance they would be taken out by mistake. She wanted to issue a mild warning for everyone to think about.

"I think we need to be a little more certain as to what targets they find." Savannah said. "I don't want innocent people getting caught up in our actions. I want a positive ID on a target before a drone strikes on its own."

Cammy understood Savannah's concern. It wasn't a concern of any of the Terminators or machines. They needed a 'check' and Savannah just gave it to them.

Jim could see Cameron was going to have a problem once she started taking in all the information. He knew Vanna was busy with Cam in the suite next door. He contacted Cam and asked for Vanna to come to the Control Center when she was available. He told her why.

He was surprised when Vanna appeared about twenty seconds after he finished with the message. She was naked when she entered and so was Cam. They each carried a bathrobe. They were in the process of putting them on.

Cameron didn't look back when they entered. She seemed to be preoccupied.

Once Vanna put her robe on, Jim got up and she sat down next to Cameron. She took her left hand. It'd already started to glitch earlier.

Cameron looked over with a blank look on her face. It slowly turned into a smile.

They nodded at each other as Cameron continued her updates. No words were spoken. They didn't have to be. Vanna loved Cameron from when she was a 'program' stuck in a server. She only loved her more when she was returned to her chassis.

Cam kept an eye on Cameron. Ally and Hanna were in the connecting room to the Control Center if they were needed. Jim was right next to her.

Sheila was aware of what was happening to her. It wasn't what she wanted to happen, but it was anyway. She knew Cameron was there earlier. She wasn't sure if she was there for her chassis, or to take Leticia to see 'Tony'. She saw her check out Mary and Laura after she'd watched them for a while. It seemed she'd left empty handed.

Leticia was asleep now. She still held her in her arms. Leticia did ask several more times if she wanted her to be with 'Tony'. Leticia said she was sure 'Barbara' wanted her to be. It was clear to everyone 'Barbara' was the one in charge.

Sheila didn't want to miss out on Cameron using her chassis again with John. She considered carrying Leticia to the Owner's Suite with her. She was sure Leticia would conceive if she did.

She carefully got up and out of bed without disturbing Leticia. She went and made sure Mary and Laura were still in their suite. They were. They were both back asleep too. She grabbed a robe as an afterthought before she went out in the hall and down to the private area.

Sheila let herself into the private area and listened to what was happening in the Honeymoon Suite. It seemed Allison and Young Jesse were together. She wanted to make another stop there before the cruise was over. She would like to do it after Cameron used her chassis again if possible. She figured if Jesse liked it, and she liked it, Young Jesse would like it too.

She moved on to the Owner's Suite and listened. She could only hear John snoring. She headed for the Control Center next.

As soon as she opened the door she was sure there was going to be some kind of problem. Vanna was there and she firmly held Cameron's hand. It was always a bad sign.

Young Allison was 'Hell bent' on taking down the driver and tracking the female prisoner. She was getting a little lax in following her training. The communication she received next was a surprise to her.

She'd never expected the call from Summer. It was an appeal to her to follow her training and protocol. There were no 'do' or 'don't' statements. It was just a reminder to do what she was supposed to do and not get caught up in the moment.

She immediately backed off in her 'hot pursuit' and talked things over with Anna on her next reboot and then with John Henry.

It was decided if the two people got out of the truck, the driver would be taken down by either a drone, or a Terminator sniper, before they could get lost in the shopping center.

It seemed she wasn't following the time. The shopping center was closed. It was well past midnight. Maybe it wasn't the destination of the truck. Maybe it was to draw them out and set them up. Maybe things weren't going to work out as planned. If the mall was closed the large parking lots would be empty. Any vehicle following the blue truck was going to stand out like a sore thumb.

The men in the white van headed towards their next location. They kept a careful watch around them to make sure they weren't being tailed. Their main concern right now would be another dark sedan. They didn't know if either one of the two they'd spotted at the old supermarket would be able to track them. They still didn't know why they weren't shot at by anyone.

The driver looked over at the passenger.

"What if they tagged our vehicle while we were inside?" The first man asked. "None of them took a shot at us. Maybe they want to see where we end up at."

The second man considered the possibility.

"If we have a tracker on us, they'll know everywhere we go." The second man said.

The first man wasn't worried about the locations. Most of them were either destroyed or shut down.

"They would also know where to find us at any given moment." The first man said.

The second man thought it would be hard to find a tracker in the dark. They would need to get underneath the van to look for one. It could be anywhere in a dozen different places. He remembered they possessed some electrical devices of their own.

"Let me get in the back and turn on our tracker locator." The second man said. "Maybe what we used to track the other vehicles will show up a hit. If it does, we know we're screwed."

The first man thought it was a good idea.

"I want you to do it right now." The first man said.

The second man went into the back and took out the device they used to track the SUV's they'd tagged earlier. It didn't detect a tracker.

"I don't have anything." The second man said. "I don't show a hit."

The first man knew they could have used a different type of device.

"Try the energy tracker we used at the other place." The first man said. "It should show up something if it's there."

The second man turned on the residual energy tracker. He moved it around the entire back of the van. It didn't indicate anything.

"Nothing shows up." The second man said.

The second man moved back up to the front. He took out his phone.

The first man noticed.

"Is yours working?" The first man asked.

The second man put it away with disgust.

"It hasn't worked since we were at the first place we needed to check." The second man said. "I can still look at the information on it. I just can't call or hook up to the web."

The first man took his phone out and checked it.

"Mine's still out too." The first man said.

The men continued their journey. The white van soon neared the location of the lab.

CamNet's Terminators tracked the white van and searched for any new targets around them. They also kept track of what the female Fanatic was up to. Currently she tailed three of the big rigs. The unknown female was still with her. It appeared they might have some problems of their own to deal with later on.

"I think we know what the next destination of the white van is going to be." Lena said.

Tina checked the drone images.

"It will be the lab." Tina said. "We might not be the only ones who've figured it out."

Tina came up with several locations from the phones she'd taken from the terminated Syndicate soldiers. The drone made a sweep over all of them.

Lena understood her concern.

"Are we going to have another contact?" Lena asked..

Tina was sure of it.

"I just had someone call each of the phones, one at a time." Tina said. "Someone is going to realize something happened."

Lena wondered if they shouldn't have taken the cars. They could have at least driven them to a different location. The Syndicate might have some way to track them.

"More than likely someone will be sent to check on them." Lena said. "They'll find them soon enough."

Tina wondered about any contingency plans.

"It may also set something else into motion." Tina said. "The only reason why the men wouldn't respond would be if they were taken prisoner or dead. There may be a follow up plan of some type."

Lena and Tina continued their loose pursuit of the van. The drone widened its orbit to look for any suspicious vehicles approaching. The drone passed by the possible locations which could be affiliated with the Syndicate as well.

The two men in the pickup truck pulled back onto the main highway. They could see the taillights of the portly couple in front of them. Right now they were their 'insurance policy'. If they couldn't find the vehicle with the two females in it they would wait for the portly couple to pass them by. They would need to wait for right now.

The pickup truck passed the portly couple and continued on down the highway.

"If we find them, what are we going to do?" The first man asked.

The second man knew there were several options open to them. They could follow them and wait for them to stop again. It might be hours. Since there were two of them, the skanks could take turns driving through the rest of the night. They could also run the sluts off of the road. It wasn't hard to do.

"It seems they know we're interested in them." The second man said. "I think they will try to run if they see us coming."

The first man thought about how elusive they'd been.

"I think you have a valid point." The first man said. "Let's see if we can spot them first."

The truck increased its speed slightly. The two men were both on the lookout for tail lights in front of them. If they found the big rigs first, the females might not be in front of them after all. There was always the portly couple behind them. They would still be able to have some action.

The female Fanatic looked in the back seat a minute later. She could see Jill was sound asleep. She knew Jill had been up the entire time she'd been having her nightmares. She touched the anti drowsy tablets in her pocket. She didn't need any yet. They had a supply of water, energy drinks, and protein drinks. They'd also purchased protein bars and energy bars. She really didn't want to need to dream again. Her dreams had been very disturbing. She wondered if it was from the lack of sleep and taking the amphetamines earlier. She glanced back at Jill again.

Jill just left the homeless encampment. She was going to go by the local fast food place and see what she could find in the way of food. Sometimes some of the people there gave her money. She never asked for it but she took it if it was offered. She always thanked the person. Often someone would buy her food if they saw what she was doing. She appreciated it when they did. Some people were nice.

She heard a vehicle come up behind her. She thought it would pass by her. It seemed close to the curb. She turned around and looked. She saw it was a van. A twinge of fear ran through her. The side door opened as the van approached. She tried to run but she couldn't. A pair of strong arms grabbed her and pulled her into the van. The door closed as the van sped off.

She tried to struggle to free herself from the strong hands. She couldn't. Her hands were quickly bound behind her back. She was gagged and blindfolded. She could hear the men talking. She wasn't sure how many of them there were. It sounded like a lot of them. She wondered how they could all fit into the van. There seemed to be a lot of laughing. She realized the laughing was directed at her.

Jill felt her pants pulled down. She didn't have any underwear on. One of her shoes was yanked off. The next one followed it. Her pants were soon all the way off. She was still face down in the back of the van. She was rolled over onto her back. Her shirt was ripped open. She knew what was going to happen next. She figured it would happen over and over and over.

The female Fanatic looked back. She could hear distressed noises coming from Jill. She figured she was probably having her own nightmare. She understood what they were like. Sometimes she could wake herself up from them. Other times she couldn't, and everything needed to play out. She could see it was a bad dream for sure. She reached back and touched Jill to wake her.

"It's just a dream." The female Fanatic said.

Jill opened her eyes and gasped. She looked around frantically in the darkness.

"It's just a dream, Jill." The female Fanatic said. "Everything is fine. It's just us."

Jill sat up and looked around.

"I dreamt they got me again." Jill said. "It seemed real. I could feel them abuse me. It was like it really happened again. I'm never going to be with a male again, ever."

The female Fanatic didn't want her to worry about it.

"There's no one behind us. We're still in back of the big trucks." The female Fanatic said. "Try to get some more rest. The nightmares usually go away."

The female Fanatic knew it wasn't always true. They always seemed to come back. Sometimes it was the same scenario. Usually it was different.

A thought popped into Jill's mind.

"You said the previous owners of this vehicle looked at what was in the back of your truck." Jill said.

The female Fanatic remembered when she'd caught them. She should have killed them then.

"They wanted to see what they could steal." The female Fanatic said. "They were very much like the men in the pickup truck."

Jill could understand thieves. It seemed something was missing. It was the truck Jackie spoke of.

"If you had a truck, what happened to it?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic decided to tell her the truth. Well, at least some of it.

"I drove it into a building with a bomb in the back of it." The female Fanatic said. "I jumped out before it went inside the building. The bomb went off and exploded. The building caught fire. Everyone was killed."

Jill wondered if Jackie was joking. She quickly realized she wasn't.

"They were all bad guys, right?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic knew they were.

"They were just like the people who had you." The female Fanatics said. "Everyone associated with them does the same thing to females as well. I was able to free another female at one of the locations. She went through exactly what you did."

Jill thought about it for a moment.

"Does it happen often?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic needed to protect SkyMaster.

"It happens anywhere they go." The female Fanatic said. "It doesn't matter when or where. They're all the same. They all want the world to burn under a false notion."

Jill wondered how many of them there were. It sounded like a lot.

"How big is the group of terrorists?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic wished she knew.

"There seems to be an endless supply of them." The female Fanatic said. "No matter how many we take down, well, it's just me now, there's always more."

Jill reached up and touched Jackie's shoulder.

"It's not just you anymore." Jill said. "I want to stop them too."

The female Fanatic felt Jill was sincere. She knew she couldn't tell her all the details about SkyMaster. She would need to reframe everything if she did with a concept Jill would accept. Time travel and the future never went over well with people in the present. They always thought anyone who spoke of such things was insane.

"I need to remind you again." The female Fanatic said. "Everyone on my team is dead. It's a very dangerous business."

Jill thought about her life. It was nothing. It was going nowhere even faster. Did it really even matter?

"How long do you want to live anyway?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic knew it didn't matter. She would reach Ascension for her service to SkyMaster.

"Hopefully long enough to stop the enemy." The female Fanatic said. "Try to get some more rest. What will be, will be."

Jill tried to lie down on the seat as best as she could. She soon drifted off to sleep.

The female Fanatic was worried about the men in the pickup truck. They seemed very determined to come after them. She didn't want to get into an altercation on the open road. More than likely the men were armed. She didn't believe she would be able to outrun them in the crappy car she currently drove. She wouldn't even try it.

She considered what other options might be available to them. She'd heard about a wolf in sheep's clothing before. Maybe it was something to think about. The big truck drivers wouldn't expect their enemy to be a female. They were usually surprised when she did encounter them in the past. She didn't believe the truck drivers would be any different. She could also use them for 'protection' in an indirect way.

It wasn't long before she spotted headlights in the distance behind her. She knew she'd be able to see the headlights further than they would be able to see her tail lights. She was sure it was the pickup truck.

Her goal was to find out where the big rigs ended up so she could attack the location. She quickly picked up her speed. She closed on the third big rig. It was the one she'd been in the back of.

She drifted over alongside of it when she reached the back of it. She passed it at a moderate speed. Once she was well clear of it, she moved back over in front of it. She could see the lights of the next two trucks up ahead. They traveled much closer together. She picked up her speed a little more and moved up on the rear of the second truck. She passed by it as well. Once she was clear of the front of it, she drifted back over and moved halfway between it and the first truck. She decided to stay there. She didn't think the men would attempt to interdict her vehicle between the two big rigs. If they made their move, they would either need to attack her go ahead and pass by her and get in front of the first big rig.

The female Fanatic continued to watch her side mirrors for any sign of the approaching headlights. It wasn't long before she saw them pass the third big rig. She knew they would close up on the second one and go to pass it next. She was sure they were going to be surprised to see her vehicle between the two big rigs.

Slow Loving Touches

Everyone always wants more
They think it's about wealth and riches
They really don't consider
It can all turn into ashes

Everything stacks up nice and neat
Until it all cracks and crashes
It's all because of what
One thinks are their wishes

Is it because of the contact
Everything warps and tarnishes
It seems like the end of the world
Until it all fades away and vanishes

Some need to be propped up
They go through life on emotional crutches
The mind is easy to side track
With many branches and fetishes

It can all come together
When there are wins and finishes
Those are best achieved
With slow loving touches

Nobody
