Chapter 6
The wedding of Ash and Alice is a huge event for all of the people, even though only invited guests can attend the wedding in Rota, the news has been spreading throughout the world. Those who didn't have the invitation wants to attend, but the queen closes the gates so that they can't go into the kingdom and check out the wedding, much to their dismay.
Alice is wearing a white wedding gown and Ash is wearing a black suit. After both of them are on the stage, they start to share their stories.
"The day when I first met Alice is when we were seven years old. We attended the same Summer Camp and I found her injured during one of the activities." Ash says. "After that day, we've become best friends and we often play with each other."
Alice says, "My feelings for Ash grew when he saved me from 3 sex traffickers who tried to abduct me and hurt my family. If it wasn't for Ash, I wouldn't have been here as his wife."
Everyone is touched by the story, and they are happy to learn about Ash's heroic deeds. "Then we met again in Kalos, she was always there to cheer me on. Especially after my loss in the last Gym battle, she was the one who snapped me out of my depression."
"Without Ash, I wouldn't be able to find my dream of competing in Showcases and Contests, and when I was down after the first loss, he was there to cheer me on." Alice says.
After exchanging vows and kissing the bride, the dance ball is starting as some of the guests are chatting and dance. Ash and Alice are chatting with their friends, and they are congratulating them.
"You did it, Alice. I know you could've done it." Lisia hugs her best friend.
"Thanks, Lisia." Alice smiles. Eve says, "To think you got your own wedding before us, then again, we know your loyalty to Ash and how you have been dreaming of him every day."
"That's embarrassing..." Alice wants Eve to shut up.
As for Ash, he is usually talking to his friends. Gary says, "Well done, Ashy Boy. You really are a lucky one to have Alice as your wife."
"Yeah, she's the best I can have." Ash says.
"But still, never thought to see the day when you of all people get married." Shade says, "Since you're always so dense."
"Are you insulting me, Shade?" Ash asks.
"Relax, bro." Argo says. "We wouldn't the main character of the wedding to be angry, right?"
"Of course not." Hau says with a smile. "Though I thought that you will invite other people here."
Alice walks towards them and says, "If we invite other people, they might find out about Team Alpha. After all, the governments of the 8 regions want to get rid of us."
"That sure is very troubling." Dawn says. "Though I wonder how they're going to get rid of us if they learn that 6 of the Champions are actually members of Team Alpha."
"Yeah, that will be hilarious." Luke adds.
"By the way, where is my Mom?" Ash asks while looking around.
"Mom is outside, she is chatting with Ms. Palermo, the founder of the showcases." Golly says.
Alice tenses a little and says, "Ms. Palermo is here as well? Why?"
They decide to look at what's going on, and they see that Aurora is hugging Palermo.
"I'm sorry, Mother... I don't know it is such a pain for you as well..." Aurora frowns.
"It's fine, I'm glad that we'll be able to meet again." Palermo sighs.
"Mom? What's going on?" Ash and Alice walk outside and the two adults notice them. Aurora says, "Ash, Alice? What are you doing outside?"
"We couldn't find you inside, so we want to know what you're doing." Ash says.
"And it is nice to see you again, Ms. Palermo." Alice bows at her mentor.
"Nice to see you again, Alice." Palermo says. "It sure has been years since I've seen you. Look at you, getting married to my grandson."
"Wait, grandson?" Ash and Alice are surprised at the information. Aurora sighs, "Yes, she's my mother. When I was 8 years old, I was abducted into Team Rocket and this is actually the first time I've seen her since then."
"I asked Team Alpha to search for my daughter because I know that the government isn't going to do anything to help me." Palermo frowns. "It is thanks to Adam that I've been tracking the news of my daughter."
"But why didn't you try to meet after Dad found you?" Ash asks.
"I didn't know I was abducted, I thought I was being abandoned by my family, which is why I never talked to them. When Adam told me that I was being abducted, I couldn't meet them for fear that Team Rocket would target them. Now that Team Rocket is gone, Adam arranged this meeting for us." Aurora says.
"I see..." Ash says, "It is nice to meet you, Grandma."
Palermo smiles, "It is nice to meet you, too. Ash. I'm glad to see you doing well and fine." She turns to Alice and says, "And I'm glad to see you strong, you're not the same girl who would cry after the first showcase as well."
Alice blushes as she remembers that she lost the Courmarine Showcase because of her Fennekin, and she asks, "You saw that?"
"I was just passing by until I saw you, which was one of the reasons I asked Aria to help you out." Palermo says.
Alice tries to hide her blush in the scarf, and Aurora says, "By the way, Ash. Why don't you bring Alice into the castle? My Mom and I will need to chat for a while."
Ash nods as he grabs Alice as they get into the castle, then Aurora turns to Palermo, "By the way, Mother. I want to discuss the current governments."
Palermo nods as her face turns into a stern one.
When they are back on the dance floor, Ash reaches out to Alice with a smile. Alice blushes again as she reaches for his hand. Then the two of them start their slow dance.
"I remember last time the song ended before we can dance together, right?" Ash asks.
"Yeah. I wished I could've danced more, but now we can dance more." Alice says. "Because we are the main characters in the wedding."
"Of course." Ash says as they continue to dance. After a while, they decide to take a rest as Adam claps to gain everyone's attention.
"Thank you all for attending the wedding of my son and my daughter-in-law." Adam says. "However, as the invitation stated, this wedding is just a decoy for the outside world as today is the day we're going to state our plans as Team Alpha members."
Everyone's face turns serious as Adam shows the projector with the 8 regions. "Now let's begin with the corruption of each of the governments, starting with Kanto."
The Kanto Government is led by a man named William, he is a former member of Team Rocket before he become the head of the government. The Kanto Government has been taxing a lot of money, saying that's for the welfare but in truth, they're given to Team Rocket for illegal experiments. With Team Rocket gone, they are the ones who get the money for themselves, while the rest of the region is living in poverty.
The Johto Government is led by a man named Ryan, also a former member of Team Rocket before he became the head of the government. The Johto Government had been robbing women from their homes from time to time so that they can become sex slaves for soldiers and higher executives. The number of missing women has been increasing since Ryan took control of the Johto Government, and those who lost their daughters are still trying to find their missing family.
The Hoenn Government is led by a woman named Evita, who had been making deals with Team Magma and Team Aqua. The Hoenn Government has been suffering a famine due to the harsh weather conditions formed by Team Magma and Team Aqua. The government refuses to distribute food to local markets and forces people to buy food outside the region. The farmlands on Hoenn were also ruined.
The Sinnoh Government is currently led by a woman named Jolyne, who rises to power 2 years ago, some say she was a former Team Galactic Member. The Sinnoh Government has been refusing any foreign goods to the store. They forbid anyone to buy foreign items and get out of the region, they also take away weapons and Pokemon that don't belong to Sinnoh Region, some say that they brutally kill foreign Pokemon.
The Unova Government is currently led by a man named Karl, who believes that Pokemon and humans can't coexist. The Unova Government has been hunting for Pokemon and selling them as items rather than living beings, they also oppress those who refuse to listen to them and kill them in cold blood. They also set up a rule that when a human commits a crime, the Pokemon will pay for it.
The Kalos Government is currently led by a woman named Marie, who funded Team Flare until its disbandment. The Kalos Government has been continuously arresting innocent people without finding the true reason, and the military forces in the region also increases as they force all males to become soldiers for the region. Those who refuse or lack strength will be killed in cold blood.
The Alola Government is led by the Kahunas, however, the Kahunas are home imprisoned by the local military. Militaries on four islands have been waging war against each other, determining who is the best island and causing a lot of people to lose their lives, money, and even freedom.
The Galar Government is led by two brothers: Swordard and Shielbert. The Galar Government has been turning a blind eye to the crimes committed by others, and they have been using wishing stars to create a lot of trouble in the region's gyms.
"And all 8 governments are controlled by PLA, with their leader being Goodshow." Adam says. "However, Goodshow is in old age, he doesn't have the power to stop them from doing what they're doing, which is why it is up to us, Team Alpha, to stop their corruption and fight for our freedom!"
Everyone cheers in agreement, and Ash frowns, "Just think about how many people are suffering from the government's regulations and their greedy rules, I'm feeling really sorry for them..."
"To overthrow the governments, we have to do some planning. And we might be waging war against them as well..." Alice says.
Then they listen to Adam's plans and the things they're going to do, some of them wonder if the plan will work, but the majority of them, usually adults who have been following Adam since day one, believe in the plan and they're going to do it.
After the party's over, Ash and Alice decide to stay in Rota with Adam and Aurora, as they are thinking about what happened today.
"Today sure is eventful, I now have a loving wife and we have a lot of exciting things planning up ahead." Ash says.
"I know." Alice smiles. "I can't wait to create a better peace for us."
And here is a new chapter, and this chapter reveals the corruption of each of the government, and the wedding of Ash and Alice. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will begin the liberation of each of the government.
