Adora, Cy, Glimmer and Bow with Kowl make their way to Blackmoor to find this Red Knight. Each of them rode on horses making their way in search of this mysterious warrior.
Cy: How much longer till we get there?
Kowl: Well if we keep at this pace, about half a day
Adora: Half a day?!
Bow: Don't worry Adora, we'll be there in no time.
Glimmer: Once we get there, we can talk to the locals and figure out where we can find Red Knight.
Bow: Hopeful we can find him soon. Imagine if he agrees to join the Rebellion.
Kowl: Well I don't know about meeting this Red Knight. What if he is actually with the Horde?
Glimmer: All the reports we received about him says that he attacks Horde camps. And anyone fighting the Horde is an ally in my book.
Cy: Never assume things right away, Glimmer.
Cy notices Adora leaning forward feeding her horse an apple.
Cy: You seem pretty close with your horse. What's his name?
Adora: His name is Spirit. He was a gift from Queen Angella.
Cy: He is lucky to be with such a kind person.
Adora smiles at Cy.
Adora: Thanks.
Cy smiles back.
Cy: By the way there's something I've been meaning to ask you.
Adora: What is it?
Cy: That cat girl I fought with when we first got here…... Was she a friend of yours?
Adora: She is or was…..I don't know. When I left the Horde I tried to convince her to come with me but she chose to stay. I don't think she wants to change.
Bow: Catra was always like that growing up. She's too stubborn.
Cy: Wait….Bow you were in the Horde too?
Bow: Unfortunately. But I grew up with Adora, Catra and a few other of our friends.
Cy: What made you both leave?
Bow looked down sad and Adora noticed it
Adora: It's a long story.
Cy: Well we got time.
Suddenly Bow's pad goes off. He holds it up and looks atit.
Bow: Guys, I'm picking up multiple Horde signals not too far from here.
Adora: Where?
Bow: 200 yards east of us. Must be a Horde Camp.
Glimmer: I'll go check it out.
Adora: Glimmer wai-
Glimmer teleports leaving them the others shocked.
Kowl: That girl is so impatient.
Cy: Dank Farrik. Let's get moving before she gets herself into trouble.
Adora: Right.
They take off on their horses heading towards the Hordes location. After a few minutes, they see Glimmer on the hill low to ground. They stop the horses and head up to her quietly.
Kowl: Glimmer. You can't just take off like that.
Glimmer: Sorry, but look.
They all look over the hill and see a Horde camp. Cy pulls out a pair of small binoculars and looks towards the camp.
Bow: What do you see?
Cy: I see multiple Horde soldiers down.
Glimmer: We can take them down.
Adora: Only if we can surprise them.
Cy: I don't think that will be necessary.
Adora: Why's that?
Suddenly explosions went from the camp. And blaster fires erupted. A group of unknown soldiers ambushed the camp.
Cy: That's why.
Kowl: Who are those soldiers?
Bow: I don't know but we better get down there and help.
Adora: Right.
Adora pulls out her sword.
Adora: For the honor of Grayskull!
Adora transforms into She-Ra.
She-Ra: Alright let's do this!
She-Ra runs down to the camp.
Cy: Right behind you!
Cy takes off after her.
Bow: Kowl stay here and watch the horses.
Kowl: Will do Bow.
Glimmer places her hand on Bow's shoulder.
Glimmer: Ready?
Bow draws his weapon.
Bow: Ready.
They teleport away to the camp.
At the camp the Horde regrouped and held off the Soldiers. Glimmer and Bow appeared and started with the soldiers. She-ra and Cy made it to the camp grouped up with the others.
Sin: Who the heck are you guys?
Bow: We're with the Rebellion.
Glimmer: And we're here to help!
She-ra: Sword to shield!
She-Ra sword turns into a shield. Cy and She-Ra were in front of the group deflecting the enemy fire.
Horde Soldier #1: Princesses!
Horde Sargent:: Activate the Horde Bots!
Horde Soldier #2: Yes, Sir!
The Horde trooper ran over the Horde Bots that were docked and activated them, The bots stood up and readied their weapons.
Horde Bots(robot voice) Engaging targets.
The Horde Bots fired on the soldiers, killing a few soldiers.
Bow: We need cover!
Cy: You all get to the tree line! Now!
Sin: Fall back into the tree line! Fall back!
She-Ra and Cy made their way downhill and saw the soldiers were being overwhelmed by the Horde.
She-Ra: Cy you take the Horde Bots. I'll deal with the troopers.
The Soldiers ran back into the tree line and took over behind the trees. Bow and Glimmer ran with the others to the trees
Glimmer: There's too many.
Soldier #1: Where's Red? We need him!
Sin: Don't worry he'll be soon.
Bow(Thoughts) Red? Can he mean...
Cy charged the bots and slashed them down and a Horde Bot tried to rush him but She-Ra kicked it, destroying it.
Cy: Thanks.
She-Ra: Don't mention it.
Suddenly a Horde Tank rolled in and fired at them.
She-Ra: Sword to Shield!
As the blast hit her shield she was crashing into Cy knocking them both to the ground.
Glimmer: Adora! Cy!
Bow looked worried and ran to them. Glimmer teleports to them.
Sin: Wait get back here!
Cy sits up holding his head. He looks over at She-Ra.
Cy: You ok?
She-Ra: I'm ok…
The tank aims at them as they are also surrounded by Horde Soldiers. Bow and Glimmer appear beside them ready to fight. Cy and She-Ra get up and in fighting stances.
Horde Soldier: Surrender, Rebel Scum! You are all under arrest.
She-Ra: This isn't good….
Cy: I've seen worse.
Suddenly out of nowhere the Horde Tank explodes leaving everyone shocked. Then the Horde Soldiers are shot from above and go down. Then a red armored warrior descends down in front of the heroes. A Horde Soldier fired at the warrior but the shot bounced off the armor. Cy was shocked once he turned to them. He recognized the armor he was wearing.
Horde Soldier: What?!
Red Knight held up his dual blasters and shot the foolish Horde soldier and the few around. The heroes were in awe of his quickdraw. Cy Force Pushed several soldiers, sending them to the ground. Bow shot a net arrow at the down soldiers pinning them to the ground. Glimmer teleported behind the Horde Bots and used her magic to blast them, while She-Ra sliced the remaining bots.
Red: Men! Secure this camp!
Sin: Yes sir!
The resistance soldiers then came in and rallied up the surrendering Horde troops. After the coast was clear, She-Ra reverted back into Adora and the group made their way to Red Knight
Glimmer: Um excuse me but you wouldn't happened to be Red Knight, would you?
The man turns to them. Cy was shocked once he turned to them. He recognized the armor he was wearing.
Red Knight: Yes I am.
Sin and the other resistance troops walked up to the group of heroes. They had captured several Horde troopers that had surrendered.
Sin: Sir, we managed to capture several Horde troopers, one of which is a Captain.
Red: Good. Tie them up. We'll interrogate them back at camp. Have some of the men gather weapons and supplies while.
Sin: Yes sir. (Walks off)
Glimmer: Um. Red Knight sir. I'm Princess Glimmer of Brightmoon and these are my friends. We're here to recruit you for the Rebellion.
Red: Rebellion? No thanks.
The group looks at him shocked.
Bow: But we came all this for your help.
Red: Well sorry to disappoint.
Adora: Can you at least hear us out?
Cy: Don't bother with it Adora, Mandalorians are too stubborn to negotiate with.
Red turns and looks at Cy.
Glimmer: Manda-what…?
Red walks up to Cy.
Red: So you must be the Jedi I heard so much about.
Cy: Listen we came all this way to talk to you. If you truly are against the Horde, then maybe come to some agreement.
Red stared at him for a moment and nodded.
Red: Alright then. I think we can work something out. But I think it would be best if we discussed this back at our camp.
Glimmer: That's great. I better go get Kowl and the horses. Be right back!
Glimmer teleports away leaving the others behind.
Red: Hey archer.
Bow looks at him slightly annoyed.
Bow: It's Bow.
Red: Well Bow, think you can help us round up these Horde soldiers?
Bow: Sure.
Red and Bow head out helping the resistance roundup the enemy. Cy looked on with slight concern. Adora walked up beside him noticing this.
Adora: You ok?
Cy:I'm fine. I better get in contact with Cameron. Hopefully they can make it out here.
Cy walks off leaving Adora behind and concerned.
(Elsewhere on a Horde Transport Airship)
Pilot: Commander Darrius, we'll be arriving in Blackmoor soon.
Darrius: Good. Make contact with them and tell me to make the necessary preparations.
Pilot: Right away, sir.
Darrius walks to the back where Catra, Kyle, Rogelio, Lonnie and Scorpia sat along with multiple Horde Commandos. He took a seat next to Catra who looked nervous.
Darrius: Something wrong?
Catra(groans) Ugh...I hate flying. I would rather be on the ground.
Darrius puts a hand on her shoulder.
Darrius: Don't worry we'll be there soon. Just try and hold out. Ok, wildcat.
Catra smiles at Darrius.
Scorpia: Aww isn't that sweet.
Darrius and Catra look away from one.
Lonnie: You two mind flirting on your own time?
Kyle(whispers) Lonnie…..
Catra growled towards Lonnie.
Rogelio: Cool it you two. We're both on the same side. Remember?
Darrius coughed and stood up, turning his attention to the soldiers.
Darrius: Alright listen up. Our mission is to locate the rebel group led by this Red Knight and eliminate them. Reports say their camp is in the forest outside of Blackmoor. I want this done swiftly and efficiently. Am I understood?
Soldiers: Yes sir!
Kyle:Wait…..we're not taking prisoners?
Darrius: No we are not. Red Knight and his group have been a thorn in the Horde's side for a while now. And Hordak wants them dealt with.
Kyle: Ok…
Scorpia: Are you sure we shouldn't have brought more troops? I heard this Red Knight is the real deal.
Catra: Hey come on Scorpia. We got this. Plus with Darrius here it should be a cake walk.
Scorpia: Right.
Darrius looks at Catra smiling from her comment.
Pilot: Commander, we are nearing Blackmoor. ETA 2 minutes.
Darrius grabs his helmet from his seat and puts it on.
Darrius(sinister) Showtime.
Holy crap! Finally it's out and done. I apologize for the long wait but here it is. I hope you all enjoyed the chapter. I hope the next chapter won't take this long. Plus Episode 2 will be out by Late August or Early September. Thank you all for the love and support.
