setting: Darlene's Apt. in Chicago Before the Show

Darlene: (on the phone) Hey Becky, can you come see me, its kind of an emergency?

Becky:Sure, why?

Darlene: I'll tell you when you get here, just hurry, and don't tell anyone, okay?

Becky: Yeah, I'll be right there

later, Darlene's Apt.

Becky: Okay, I'm here, what's the emergency?

Darlene: Okay, uh, ...how do I say this?

Becky: Say what?

Darlene: Okay, uh, how can you tell if ... if your ... pregnant?

Becky: Darlene your pregnant?!

Darlene: Shh!!! I don't know, how exactly can you tell?

Becky: Well, do you have morning sickness?

Darlene: Yeah, kinda

Becky: Do ya have to pee alot?

Darlene: yeah

Becky: Did you dream you were pregnant?

Darlene: yeah

Becky: OMG!!! Darlene, your pregnant!

Darlene: I'm pregnant!!! ... Why are we celebrating?

Becky: I don't know

Darlene: OMG I'm pregnant, I can't be pregnant, I mean what about David? What will he say, I mean we'll have to get married, OMG how am I going to tell mom and dad?

Becky: Darlene, calm down, now, why don't you just tell David first, you know, take it one step at a time?

Darlene: yeah, your right, okay we're going out tonight, so, I'll just tell him then, right?

Becky: right, do you want me to stay?

Darlene: Uhh ... No I ... I have some stuff to think about

Becky: Okay, but if you need me for anything, just call

Darlene: yeah, and uh, Becky?

Becky: yeah?

Darlene: thanks
