ch. 1

Satohsi sat at his desk and looked out the window again for the third time today. Sometimes, I wounder what he thinks about when he sits there. I constantly wish it was me but...its hopeless. I know he will never like me like that. I mean...he's so cool and im so...uncool. I was so lost in my thoughts, i didnt notice the aproachng figure.

"Niwa kun?" he asked. I looked up to see satoshi looking at me. "Are you ok? you seem upset"

"Oh, hiwatari" I said, suprised. "Im fine, just thinking about something...How are you feeling?" Well...that question couldnt get any more stupid. Satoshi doesnt have any emotions. Or at least he acts like he doesnt.

"Im fine too." He pulled out the chair to the desk in front of me and sat down. "Why aren't you outside with everyone else?" because i wanted to be in here with you!

"Well, why arent you?" I put the question back on him.

"You know I dont like being outside in the condition I am in." He answered. I forgot. Last year, Satoshi tried to save Daisuke but Krad disagreed and tried to kill Satoshi. It left a huge scar on Satoshi and he has been unable to go out in extreme heat. Anything above 85 degress.

"Im sorry...I forgot about that." I said, laughing nervously. Satoshi stood up, and pushed the chair back in. "uh...where are you going?"

"Class is about to start. I should be at my desk when the teacher comes in." Then he walked over to his desk. ouch..that was mean.

"what was, dark?"

dont you realize how Sato sama feels about you? he obviously likes you. But he doesnt think you like him.

"I dont understand how that is mean."

no, what was mean was the fact that he just walked away without saying bye. not even a 'later'

well, what am i going to do? Then all of a sudden, the bell rang and the students began filling the room. I glanced at satoshi once more and then got out my books from my bag. then the teacher came in, and looked at me and then satoshi.

"Hiwatari san, can you please stop staring at niwa kun or you'll need to go out in the hall with him and talk to him telling him why you are staring at him." That was all the proof I needed and I raised my hand.

"actually sensei...id like it if he DID tell me...right here." I said. I heard a gasp, and i smiled over at Satoshi.

"well, Hiwatari...lets here it." The teacher said. Satoshi stood up and walked over to me.

"Niwa kun...i have been staring at you because..well...I...I-I-I." then he fainted. I jolted up and knocked the chair over as i stood.

"Hiwatari san! hiwatari san!" I yelled over and over agian. a few moments later his eyes fluttered open but only for a brief moment to whisper four words.

"niwa-kun...I love you." then his eyes closed again.
