Halloween Love

Beastboy crept down the hallway, holding an orange colored oval shaped thing. He had a serious look instead of his usual evil grin on his face, which meant that he wasn't going to prank anyone. He slowly disappeared from sight.

A swoosh of the doors revealed Raven standing behind it. She went into her room, yawning. She switched the lights on, revealing a jack-o-lantern on her bed. She gasped at the words she saw on it.

Raven slowly lifted the pumpkin and put it on her dressing table. That night, she dreamt happy dreams.

The next morning, Raven woke in a happy mood. She had dreamt of something very nice, but she couldn't remember what.

When she went to the common room, she made herself a hot cup of tea, and then sat on the sofa, sipping it quietly. Suddenly, the common room doors opened to reveal the most unlikely person to be up at six in the morning, Beastboy. "So, Rae…did you get that gift?" He asked nervously. "Yes. Yes, I did. Thank you." She replied. She disabled the security cameras and the sound detectors. "So…I'm not going to be hurt or something?" he slowly asked. "Why should I hurt you?" Raven asked.

"Well, you might think that it's a prank or a bet. But it's true. It isn't a bet. It isn't a prank either."

"Well, then, Beastboy, I believe that we now have something in common. I accept the pumpkin with great joy (on the inside of course)."

Beastboy smiled. "So…coming to the Halloween ball with me?" "Definitely." Raven said. Together, the two of them went out of the doors.

Only then did Raven remember the sweet dream she had. It was less like a dream and more of a vision, as she had seen herself and Beastboy at the venue of the Halloween ball, dressed nicely and walking arm-in-arm, people shouting happily about the new Titan couple.

Now, we come to Raven's room. A close up of the dressing table shows us what the pumpkin says:

Raven,

I love you with all my heart.

Beastboy.
