Hinata walked to Neji's grave site in hope of an answer. She had never felt so confused in her life. She knew that standing up for herself was not something she was actually capable of doing. However, given the circumstances everyone had a breaking point. You can only be pushed so far without retaliation. Gentle and kind was always just her way of being.
All of this chaos because of him, he completely flipped her world upside down.
She slowly stopped in front of the grave stone, kneeling down she smiled sadly. Funny, somehow there was no tears that came from eyes. Even though she knew Neji was gone, there was a peaceful aura by her just being there. There was so much she wanted to say but couldn't. There was no one really to go to for advice. This was something she was going to face and deal with alone.
Looking towards the night sky, one small drop of water hit her face. Then another until the rain was pouring down her entire being.
"I w-wanted to be a-alone" In all honesty its what she wanted. She sensed his chakra moments after she kneeled by the grave stone. Annoyed and frustrated with the current situation that he caused with her friends.
"Tch, I just came here to talk" After leaving the training site he decided to look for her. He was tired of fighting these males just to get them off her. He was never one to express his feelings. Hell he wasn't sure how he was about to go on about this as it was.
"Uchiha-can, I-i don't think now is the time for t-this." She slowly got up and turned to face him, rain pouring hard on the both of them. But neither of them cared. She had so much to say to him but how can she? Where would she even begin? You're ruining my peaceful life? Maybe that's how she should start.
However, just as soon she was about to say something, he decided to speak.
"Be mine" He wanted to smack himself hard. That's it? That's the best that he could come up with? He couldn't understand her at all. When he first met her, he just wanted to fuck her and toss her to the side. But he hated to admit that that's not all he wanted now. It was something about her that drew him to her. There wasn't an easy to decipher his feelings for her. But the thought of any of those two imbeciles touching her in anyway angered him.
"W-what?" Was she even hearing correctly? Did this lunatic just ask her out in the most weirdest of ways?!
"Did y-you just ask me out?" There was no way she heard him correctly. She was trying to read his facial expression but of course the great Sasuke Uchiha did have many besides the one he had on now. And of course it was unreadable. She was sure Neji was rolling his grave at this very second.
"Yes" she was talking to much. Why? A simple yes would've been enough. Then he could take her home and make love to her all night. Don't females like that?
"Are you insane?! You don't know even know me Sasuke. I don't love you. You come back to Konoha and think that everyone woman is going to fall for you? Just because you're THE Sasuke Uchiha?." She was baffled and she was sure her ranting on without stuttering was because of the anger she had within her.
"Hinata. Im not into lovely dovey bullshit. But…" Fuck he didn't love her yet here he was about to get emotional with a female. Why couldn't she couldn't accept the fact he liked her?
"Hinata, I like you." There he said it. Now if she could just accept it so they can live happily ever after and have children.
Hinata took a step back, then another until she was sprinting to the compound. This was way too much for her to handle. She needed a goodnight sleep. There was no way she could comprehend the situation at hand.
Sasuke stood there dumbfounded. So this what that dobe had felt like for years being rejected by Sakura. She needed space, and he would give it to her. But this conversation wasn't over. She was going to be his one way or another. He didn't want any other woman to bare the Uchiha symbol but her. If only she would've been a fan it would've been easier but at the same time he was glad that she wasn't.
He didn't know jack shit about courting the female kind. And for her he would try. He needed to find his old sensei for advice. Something he was not looking forward too. He looked up towards the dark gray sky. He was about to take a step forward when he noticed the name on the grave stone. The prodigy Neji, he smirked as he knew the fact that would not be in one piece right now if Neji was alive.
