Chapter 3
After Percy had done chatting with Reyna, he dragged Lupa away from the boy who had blond hair who was sitting next to Reyna during the Senate meeting. Percy made Lupa follow him all the way to street burger just to fetch a nice grilled burger with iceberg lettuce, melted cheese and a secret sauce recipe topped on top of the crusty bun that had seeds sprinkled ontop. Percy watched the man grill the beef medium rare and watched him place it ontop of the bun that was torched, then the chef placed a melted cheese and delicately applied some BBQ sauce ontop of it, after that he placed a lettuce piece ontop of it and finally put some onion and stacked it all into one sweet fresh burger.
After it was served, Percy eyed the burger hungrily. While Lupa seemed amused by his attention to the burger. He delicately picked it up like it was glass that could shatter by his touch and took one medium sized bite of it. He had just tasted the world's best burger in the world
His eyes widened, The taste buds exploaded. And he gingerly took another bite and another till he had one left. He looked at it like it was his last, Percy took his last moments with his burger... And finally finished it.
He silently exited the shop with of course Lupa making sure to not lose him again. He told Lupa that it was the world's best burger and started walking back to the entrance of camp jupiter. He met up wih the pack and told Winter all about its taste. He explained the burger's taste in extreme detail. And since he was a werewolf/demigod it tasted way better. Winter chuckled and smiled.
After they headed back to the Wolf house and settled. Percy burst out his excitement. He could not keep it to himself anymore, he told them about the burger, He explained it like it was the god of food. By the time he had done explaining, the whole packs mouth was watering. They begged Lupa that they had to go to street burger next time they headed to camp jupiter. Lupa was immovable for 5 whole days straight until she finally caved. she told them if they were going to get this "food of the gods" they would have to do some tough work. And some incredible increase to their fitness, the pack huddled together, they were weighing the pros and cons, the pro they all get the burger percy was talking about, cons they have to get fit. After some thinking from the pack they decided to... take it. the pack howled for 10mi nutes as Lupa smiled watching howl as she smirked.They regretted the deal they had to train everyday 3 times! 3 times? that's the amount of times they eat everyday. And since it was training they were sparring, They were jogging, They were sharpening there claws. Their bones hurt, their feet wobbled, They all thought Percy better be right or else we are definitely going to kill him.
The day came for their visit to camp jupiter. The pack brimmed with excitement. Luckily their wasn't a meeting or whatever they had to go through, they just came for the burger. The camp was shocked to find them at camp because normally they really don't visit, but they recovered pretty quick and gave them a formal welcome and ushered them inside. After that the pack headed straight to street burger.
They ordered 20 street burgers and paid well. After waiting for a hour since it was 20 burgers they finally recieved it. Let's just say the pack was satisfied and Percy was definitely not killed. So they started heading home.
But sadly heading home was delayed.
