6. Chapter 6

Percy pulled one of the Praetor chairs so he could sit. Reyna was confused, Percy was a son of Neptune? But he was a son of Lupa, doesn't that make him a god? Percy was nervous but he was going to get a migraine if Reyna keeps on pacing so he asked "Reyna can you stop walking in circles? Your making me nervous."

She stopped pacing and sat down in a way that the bowl of jelly beans rattled. "How are you not a god?" "I really dont know Reyna, if i did would have told you. But i dont." "Have you talked to your mother about this?".

Silence

"Your silence is all I need. Go talk to your mother, she probably knows about this god problem.". She stood up and picked up a jelly bean from the bowl and tossed it into her mouth. "Mabye ask your dad, Your his only son so if your prayers to him at the temple, I'm pretty sure he will answer, just saying if he doesn't, your only source for all the information you need is your mother."

"Now shoo, Vamos, I need to talk to Jason, I told him I would talk to him later."

Percy stood up, put back the chair back to where it was and left. He was going to get answers no matter what. But there is a question that left him scared inside.Was he really the son of Lupa, his mother? Or was his mother lying?

Percy made his way through the crowd, trying to find his mother so he could question/interrogate. Percy found her still at the table where he met her when he woke up. She was in deep thought, Twirling the butterknife in her hand, while she munched on some piece of omelette.

Her eyes looked empty when he stared at her. He took a deep breath and tapped on her shoulder. She quickly recoiled from shock and broke from her train of thought. Percy said hi and asked her to tell him why she never told him that he was a son of Neptune. she answered the question "I wanted to protect you. If some people found about you being a son of Neptune, Dangerous beings could take advantage of this. I needed to train you before i revealed it to you, just incase so we could avoid tragedy. I cannot explain more, for now i will explain the rest to you later. I don't want some things im about to tell you go to the wrong hands."
