"We understand my king."

"Then go."

Heeding their leader's whims, a main squad consisting of Igris, Bellion, Iron and of course Beru, were sent into the town square where two other nomou like creatures were currently attacking.

'I need to remain watchful in case something else pops up, or worse, Iida bites off more than he can chew…or maybe I can take this small detour'

One of his shadows relayed something of interest, he had found a duo that was sure to make for some fun. One shadow swap found him on the roof of a building overlooking the carnage from above. His forces should be intercepting any moment now, but before that-

"Yo." the necromancer greeted rather calmly given the circumstance. His shaggy haired 'friend' and his misty companion looked at him with widened eyes.

"What!? How are you-"

"I have my ways. Now you're gonna tell me some information I wanna know. And I might let you see tomorrow."

Shigaraki's blood chilled. Such a horrifying aura for a teenager, it was more annoying than it was scary due to the sheer insanity of the thought!

'Damn it, we can't beat this guy right now! We need more nomou!'

"What do you wanna know?" Responded Kurogiri. Knowing the strength of their opponent, he thought their only chance was buying time.

"What are these nomou, where are you making them? And who, or what, is All f- Shit!"

And just as he suddenly appeared before them, he suddenly vanished into shadows.

"...Perhaps we should return home and wait out the night there?"

Looking back into the battlefield, he saw as the shadowy summons from before engaged his nomou forces with ease. He would normally be furious, but perhaps it wasn't all for naught. His purpose wasn't exactly to destroy anything in particular, but to outshine that pompous hero killer. Putting up a fight against the bastard star pupil at UA could be just what he needed to stir up some controversy.

"...Fine, I'm done here anyway. We'll see the results tomorrow."

The hero killer had a lot of work to do today. Hosu city was full of unworthy heroes and disgusting villains alike. After stirring up the news with his latest job, it wasn't long until more came out of the woodwork to claim a shot at glory. What a vain and useless thing.

And things were going quite smoothly, until he had randomly received a crushing knee to the side of his face from below. How that was possible he wasn't sure at first.

"S-sung! It's you! But how?" Iida let out weakly. He was completely paralyzed from the neck down.

"Just like the festival. I had a shadow planted on you from the start of the internship, I usually try to not do that sort of thing, but I wanted to make sure you were safe. If you can get up, you should probably take that hero and leave."

"I can't move a single muscle, but that's beside the point. You're the one who should leave! This isn't your fight, you have no right to be here!"

Jin-woo spared him a sympathetic glance, but held his tongue.

'I'm sorry Iida, but I can't let you die here'

"Heh, so a friend shows up out of the blue to save you? Not bad at all. However, I have to kill these two. If you get in my way, the weaker of us will be culled." His glare cast a heavy weight on both Tenya and Native, the injured hero who was in the process of being hunted. As for Sung,

'Stain. His bloodlust is almost palpable…cute'

Eyes now glowing blue, he let a bit of his magic strength flare out, causing a light rush of wind to flow through the alley.

"And if you get in my way, you won't live to regret it."

'This kid, I don't like the look in his eyes'

"NO SUNG! I ALREADY TOLD YOU, THIS ISN'T YOUR BUSINESS!"

"And let you die? You're being awfully demanding for someone who can't even stand up."

Seeing his moment, the hero killer threw a dagger like a bullet at Jin-woo, hoping to graze him just enough to draw blood.

Dodging the blade with ease, he noticed the villain had also thrown a katana into the air.

'The way he's attacking, he's giving himself multiple ways of dealing damage in one single encounter'

"So you like blades huh? I happen to be partial to them as well."

Conjuring up his favorite daggers, he and the hero killer found themselves locked dagger to dagger in the center of the alley.

"Did you forget something?" The villain asked cryptically. Waiting for his thrown blade to fall into place, he released his hold against the necromancer and leapt back, throwing a couple more daggers in key spots, dodging was impossible.

His opponent did not dodge. Expertly parrying all three mid air attacks with his own weapons, Jin-woo launched himself at the hero killer once more.

Iida watched from the ground, closing his eyes every time the harsh sound of metal would clang and grind against metal. The only thing lighting up the alley was the sparks that flew in the air with each strike. At some points he couldn't even believe he was watching a fight, but more like two blurring images in a dance. It made him sick to his stomach, he wanted to cry.

'This kid is just as good with his blades as I am. But maybe I can use that to my advantage'

Clashing blades once more, the hero killer made sure to attack in a similar way with the same blade over and over again, judging by mere appearances, the teens daggers are a far higher quality and make than his own, but that would be his downfall.

Bringing down his dagger one last time, Sung nearly slipped as it cleanly hacked through the hero killer's katana, the top half spinning wildly with its thrown off inertia, it sliced a long gash onto the monarchs unprotected face.

Taking the opportunity with the kid's surprise, Stain grabbed onto the boy and licked his face before delivering a hard kick that threw him to the ground.

"I admit, your skills are nothing to scoff at. And I like your sense of duty, so I think I'll let you live. For these two however."

So confident in his quirk, Stain never turned back to confirm that his paralyzing affect had actually activated. Making him react all too late when a fist found a nice warm home in his abdomen. An uppercut to the midsection with enough force to smash his body nearly through a layer of brick, leaving a man sized impression when he fell onto the concrete below.

The hero killer's cough began to turn bloody, that one blow had dealt way more damage than he could have suspected.

"W-what? But I licked your blood, how can you be moving?"

Standing over him proudly, one foot on a sword the villain was clutching at, Jin-woo let out a sigh.

"So many amazing abilities. I'm sure it's worked for everyone you've faced thus far. But you should have watched the sports festival. A quirk like this will never work on me. How many times have you trapped heroes, just like this? How does it feel?"

The hand clutching at the trapped sword stiffened, and soon the monarch felt his foot rise, forcing him to jump back.

'He still has the strength to move like that? What crazy tenacity for a human'

"So, my blood curdle won't work on you huh? Then I guess I'll have no choice but to paralyze you another way."

Before the necromancer could ready himself, he felt fingers very weakly grasping onto his shoes.

"Sung…please stop this, it's my responsibility." Iida said through tears.

The now annoyed necrotic king, harshly shook off his friends grasp.

"Didn't you hear what I said before? If you wanna take responsibility, then stop whining and stand up! If you're gonna allow yourself to stay weak, then you'll never accomplish your goals!"

Despite the internal injuries that he should have, Stain did not slow down, instead he seemed to only get faster, probably realizing that he can't afford to spare Jin-woo if he wants to complete his mission.

"GET OUT OF MY WAY, TRUE JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED!"

'Damn it, damn it. DAMN IT!'

The heir to the Ingenium name, mentally screamed. Thinking back to the reason he came here in the first place. Weak? Yes. How weak of him, to come out here and end up being a burden on a friend. Sung was right, if it was his business, then why was he motionless on the floor? He doesn't have the strength that Sung has, or the experience of his brother, but that doesn't matter right now. The only thing he needed to worry about in this moment,

'IS TO STAND UP'

"RECIPRO BUUUURRRST!"

Caught in the middle of high speed sword skirmish with the robed necromancer, the hero killer was completely blindsided by a shin kick to his left arm, sending him off his feet and further down the alley.

'I'm not staying behind you forever, AshBorn!'

"What took you so long…Ingenium?"

"I needed a wake up call is all. If I'm going to take responsibility, and back up my words, I can't be weak, I need to give it my all. That's why, alongside you, we'll stop him right here, right now!"

"Tch, still a vengeful brat to the very end. Using your power for your own ends, you're a spawn of this horrible society. Someone needs to correct this flawed system."

No words needed to be shared between them as they each took off simultaneously. Despite getting much faster than before, and more chaotic in his attack patterns, the coordinated attacks of wide sweeping kicks and precise dagger slashes were too much for him to keep up with.

'So this is Sung's combat speed! I feel like I'm moving in slow motion compared to him, but maybe that's throwing Stain off'

Every heavy blow complimented the series of new slashes he'd receive each engagement.

Leaping into the air, limbs full of bruises and cuts, Stain threw a pair of knives, each one making their mark and disabling Iida's arms. Causing the hero to stumble onto the ground, groaning in pain all the while.

'If I can take one out of the fight, I'll have an easier time!'

"You're going about this all wrong."

Thinking that the vengeful brother was a sitting duck, he rushed to impale him with his last katana, but found himself stuck in the air.

"You're getting tunnel vision, and I still have far more tricks up my sleeve."

Tossing him up high with rulers authority, he increased his magic power even more, and hurled himself straight up at him fist reeled back, hoping to land a winning blow.

"Neither of us can dodge in mid air!" Stain choked out.

Hoping to land a trade, he positioned his katana just right, if he was going to take a blow, he would deal a killing one in return.

"Shut up!" Came a voice from above him

'I thought I pinned his arms!'

"I don't need my arms! If I want to beat you, all I need are my legs!"

Iida's engines boosted him towards the blood lusted villain, allowing him to spin mid air and smash his foot into Stains back, causing him to let go of his sword and spit out more blood as his lungs released all their air inside.

"It's our win." Jin-woo let out before finally attacking with a bone crunching, rising fist that could impale if he hadn't held back. Stain's body floated for a few seconds above the roofs of the alleyways they battled in, before falling back to the ground like an empty husk.

'These guys, they're part of Jin-woo's quirk. Why is he here?'

Todoroki had been out with Endeavor with the idea that they'd be fighting villains. This was cut short when all hell broke loose in the inner city. Though by the time they got there, they were playing second fiddle to a group of familiar fighters that seemed to be made of living, flame like, shadow. At the very least they played their part in burning one of them who could regenerate.

After everything wrapped up on their end, and the nomou were put into restraints, they simply vanished into the ground like ghost. However, both Gran Torino and Endeavor had the same idea, and began to give chase to the globs of darkness as best they could.

"Your reign of terror ends here Stain!"

"Relax Iida, he's out cold."

While Jin-woo let himself relax for a bit, his shadows returning, Iida tied up the now brutally beaten hero killer with some rope. It felt a little good, but being so close to such a character, he still wanted to stomp his skull in. He could do it too, maybe Sung wouldn't even stop him.

'No! I can't think that way. I can't let myself fall into that mindset. I need to carry on my brothers will'

"Boy!" Cried out a much older, harsher voice.

"Gran Torino, Endeavor, and Todoroki?" Was all the confused monarch could say.

"Didn't I tell you to wait on the train?!" The old man would bop him on the head if he could actually manage to do so.

"Sorry, my friend was in danger and I had to step in. I can't let someone die when I know I can help."

The old man grumbled to himself, but didn't have a response. Despite the laws strict views on heroism without a license, he didn't necessarily disagree with the young man.

"So, that's the hero killer. You three defeated him together eh?" Endeavor noted. He didn't seem so tough, perhaps it was all dumb luck how many heroes this villain had taken down.

"No, I only got in the way. These two did all the work." Native said weakly, being helped up by Iida.

"Really? Fallen to a couple of first years? Now I know he was all talk."

" R"

A chilling, drawled out speech that rang like pure evil slithered along their ears. Forcing every one of them into combat positions.

"Hero killer! I should have known you wouldn't be defeated so easily." Endeavor shouted back. Finally, taking down the hero killer would be exactly what he needs.

Jin-woo was unsure how to feel. That last attack, while it wasn't full power, it should have been more than enough to kill all but the most durable humans. Isn't this guys power a paralyzation quirk? Why is he so physically strong?

"YOU FAKE. ALL OF YOU, FAKE. IF THIS DAY DOESN'T END WITH AT LEAST ONE OF YOU DEAD. IF I DON'T FIX THIS SOCIETY, NO ONE WILL. THAT'S WHY. THAT'S WHY, I HAVE TO KILL EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO BRING DOWN THIS HERO WORLD"

Looking to his sides, both Todoroki and Iida sat completely motionless, they weren't even breathing. The amount of bloodlust in the air turned them into statues. Even Torino and Endeavor were taking steps back.

Sung narrowed his eyes at the walking monstrosity. Each step closer it took seemingly increased its hate towards the group.

'It was my mistake. It was my mistake to believe this guy was a human. If I don't kill him now, he's gonna be an issue in the future'

Unfazed by the villains display, the shadow monarch drew his daggers and sped towards the villain, the heroes couldn't even muster the ability to speak up to protest. However they had no need to, as Sung then stopped cold in his tracks when he felt it. They all did.

Stain, still standing on his two feet, had died.
