On the Other Side of the Door

Disclaimer: If I owned Ouran, it would've been much longer than 26 episodes…--sniff--

OMG…My first Ouran and Tamaki x Haruhi fic! –fangirly squeal—Anyhoo, I just love Ouran and I just finished all 26 episodes and I want more!!! I demand for a second season! –wails loudly--.

Haruhi,

I know you'd never think of me as anything else rather than that annoying, narcissistic, flirty, overly-dramatic idiot—I mean, who am I to disagree with that oh-so-genuine fact?

Ahh…Who am I kidding?

Paper crumples as blue ink blots puddles on its smooth, white surface. An agitated blonde irritatingly scratches his head in annoyance as he throws the now wrinkly object—in an attempt to shoot it at the trash can, but misses his target with a distance of an inch or so.

"Oh, shoot." The Frenchman rises from his chair exasperatedly, picks up the defying piece of paper and drops it neatly into the trash can. With that, he returns to his desk—with eyebrows furrowed together, a sign that he was in a deep, not-to-be-disturbed concentration.

With ballpoint pen in hand, he tries again.

Haruhi,

I've always said that I considered you as my daughter. I've tried my very best to protect you in my self-established role of father—but now, things have changed. I'm starting to feel different—and being called as "Daddy" makes me feel weird as I deem it is inappropriate to be called it anymore.

I want to be more than that.

"Argh!" A frustrated sigh emits from the Host King's lips as he throws again the disapproved letter, he, the vain creature that he is, wrote.

"Tamaki…Think."

"Tamaki-senpai?"

With that, the lord turns his head to the owner of the familiar voice. And his breathing stops.

"What are you doing? And what is it with all these crumpled papers scattered around?" The brunette asks.

"Ahh…Ehh…Daddy has some…important documents to write, now go and have fun!" Tamaki pushes her gently to the door.

"Uh, yeah."

Tamaki closes the door, leans on it heavily, wipes some imaginary sweat from his forehead and sighs inaudibly, "Sheewww…That was close."

But little does he know that on the other side of the door, Haruhi is there—with a small smile painted on her delicate face.

Holding a creased paper in her hands.

She smiles again and whispers, "Yes, senpai, I want to be more than that, too."

Very short but I like it…Just a small idea that popped in my head a while ago…Hope you loved it as much as I did. Oh, and yeah, it's been months since my last fic.
