Narrator: But King Stefan, still fearful of his daughter's life, did then and there decree that every spinning wheel in the kingdom should on that very day be burnt. So it was done.

(A pile of spinning wheels is burnt on the castle grounds. Meanwhile, the fairies and their Floettes sit alone in the castle, drinking tea and eating treats.)

Flora: (watches the fire from the balcony along with Rosa and starts flying toward the fairies and Floettes) Oh, silly fiddle faddle!

Fauna: (raises her wand and teacups and teapot appeared along with treats for the Pokemon) Now, come have a nice cup of tea, dear. I'm sure it'll work out somehow.

Merryweather: Well, a bonfire won't stop Maleficent.

Holly: (nods her head) Floette.

Flora: Of course not. But what will? (sips her tea)

Fauna: Well, perhaps if we reason with her.

Flora: Reason?

Merryweather: With Maleficent?

Fauna: Well, she can't be all bad.

Ivy: (shook her head) Floette.

Flora: Oh, yes she can!

Merryweather: Oh, I'd like to turn her into a fat, ole Palpitoad!

Fauna: Now, dear, that isn't a very nice thing to say.

Flora: (pacing) Besides, we can't. You know our magic doesn't work that way.

Fauna: It can only do good, dear, to bring joy and happiness.

Merryweather: Well, that would make me happy.

Flora: But, there must be some way... (thought of something and smiled) There is!

Merryweather: There is?

Floettes: Floette?

Fauna: (flies towards her along with Merryweather and the Floettes) What is it, Flora?

Flora: I'm going to… (stops for a moment) shh, shh, shh! Even walls have ears. (looks around and looks back at the fairies) Follow me! (minimizes herself and Rosa from her wand)

(The others followed them as them minimized themselves and flew into a castle cabinet on the table. They gathered around to hear Flora's idea.)

Flora: I'll turn her into a flower!

Rosa: Floette?

Merryweather: Maleficent?

Flora: Oh no, dear, the princess!

Fauna: Oh she'd make a lovely flower.

Ivy: (nods and smile) Floette.

Flora: Don't you see, a flower can't prick its finger.

Merryweather: It hasn't any.

Fauna: That's right.

Flora: She'll be perfectly safe.

Merryweather: (smiles for a moment until it faded) Until Maleficent sends a frost.

Flora: Yes, a… oh dear!

Fauna: She always ruins your nicest flowers.

Flora: You're right. And she'll be expecting us to do something like that.

Merryweather: But what won't she expect, she knows everything.

Fauna: Oh, but she doesn't, dear. Maleficent doesn't know anything about love, or kindness, or the joy of helping earnest. You know, sometimes I don't think she's really very happy.

Flora: (tries to think until she smiled excitedly) That's it, of course! It's the only thing she can't understand, and won't expect.

(Flora starts walking and talking to herself while the others looked at each other in confusion and starts following her. The Floettes looked at each other and looked at them.)

Flora: (talks to herself) Now, now… We have to plan it carefully. Let's see, woodcutter's cottage, yes, yes, the abandoned one, of course the King and Queen will object, but when we explain it's the only way…

Merryweather: Explain what?

Flora: About the three peasant women and their Pokémon, raising a foundling child deep in the forest.

Fauna: Oh, that's very nice of them.

Merryweather: Who are they?

Flora: Turn around.

(As Merryweather and Fauna turn around to look at their reflections on the surface of a saucer, Flora changes their gowns into peasant clothing. Floettes watched as they were surprised.)

Fauna: (gasps) Why, it's... us!

Flora: (nods) Uh-huh.

Merryweather: You mean, we, us?

Flora: Uh-huh.

Fauna: Take care of the baby?

Flora: Why not?

Fauna: Oh, I'd like that!

Ivy: (nods happily) Floette!

Merryweather: (notices that her dress is pink from Flora's magic and changes its color back to blue. Looks at Fauna) Well, yes, yes, but will we have to feed it?

Fauna: And wash it and dress it and rock it to sleep. Oh I'd love it.

Merryweather: (asks Flora) You really think we can?

Flora: (walks past her and head to the exit) If humans can do it, so can we.

Rosa: (agrees with her) Floette.

Merryweather: And we have our magic to help us.

Fauna: That's right.

Flora: (stopped by the exit for a moment and head back to the fairies) Oh, no, no, no, no, no magic! (gently grabs the wand from Fauna) I'll take those wands right now. Oh, better get rid of those wings, too. (removes Fauna's wings from her wand)

Holly: (shocked to hear about not having magic) Floette?!

Merryweather: (protecting her wand from Flora) You mean, live like mortals? For sixteen years? (flies off)

Flora: Uh-huh. (use her wand and made Merryweather's wings disappeared)

Merryweather: (tried to get away from Flora) Now, we don't know how. We've never done anything without magic.

Flora: And that's why Maleficent will never suspect.

Merryweather: (hides behind Fauna and quickly tried to get away from her) But who'll wash, and cook?

Flora: Oh, we'll all pinch in.

Fauna: I'll take care of the baby.

Flora: (still hunting for Merryweather's wand) Let me have it dear.

Merryweather: (use her wand and Flora's wings disappeared before the red fairy grabbed her wand)

Flora: Come along now. We must tell their majesties at once. (changes herself and Rosa back to their normal size, but first forgot about Fauna and Merryweather and their Floettes)

Fauna and Merryweather: Flora! Flora!

Floettes: Floette! Floette!

(Flora notices her mistake and enlarges Fauna and Merryweather. They leave the room. Later, outside the castle at night, King Stefan and the Queen at a balcony looking down towards the fairies and their Floettes carrying their baby away.)

Narrator: So the king and his queen watched with heavy hearts as their most precious possession, their only child, disappeared into the night.
