I'm completely wiped out, tired as all f*** but I wanted to move this along. Thus, this chap is a little shorter than norm, but some things needed to get out of the way before the movement becomes more. Thanks to my bestest buddy kcisjohan for listening to me gripe, complain, whine and sometimes just watch me throw things about. You are my bestest rock buddy 3

Deidara was pleased to see Naruto and Sasuke come back into the manor, cheeks flushed red from the chill and apparent happiness. Though Sasuke didn't smile, Deidara couldn't ignore the fact that Sasuke was just glowing and the warm aura from both wolves was radiating off both of them in waves. Deidara felt himself feel lighter, knowing and seeing that the mates were apparently in good spirits. 'Thank gawd, those two need a break!' Deidara walked up to them both, grabbing both quickly and giving them hugs.
"Well now that you two are back, who's hungry hmm?" Deidara sang out, beaming a smile at both of them.
"Deidara-san," Obito's voice called out from down the corridor. Obito strode proudly into the front entrance room, his eyes locked on Deidara before glancing at Sasuke and Naruto.
"Obito-san 'un," Deidara acknowledged the Uchiha clan alpha member.
Naruto's eyes narrowed at the Uchiha alpha, recalling his first interaction with the man, a low growl on his lips. He let out a gasp when Sasuke elbowed him in the ribs. "Ow…" Naruto whined in a whisper, rubbing his ribs and Sasuke just smirked at him.
"Sasuke-kun, so good to see you looking better," Obito exclaimed when he saw Sasuke as Deidara moved to the side. He quickly stepped up to his cousin and embraced him. Pulling back after a solid hug he clapped his two hands on each of Sasuke's cheek, ignoring the apparent gruffed growl from the blond alpha beside him. "How are you feeling little cousin? You appear to have more colour in your skin, are you eating enough? Is there anything you need help with?" He gave a side glance to the Uzumaki alpha that was glaring at him before looking back at Sasuke with a smirk. "Need any annoying alpha's off your back?" His tone was teasing but he got the response he was fishing for when Naruto practically barked at him.
Sasuke punched Obito in the arm. "Quit being a pest," he grumbled. "It is good to see you, Obito-san. I'm sorry I was--was not myself the other night," Sasuke frowned slightly, recalling slightly how he saw his cousin before everything went blank when his wolf took over.
Obito chuckled and ruffled Sasuke's hair. "No worries little cousin, I'm just glad you're okay now." Sasuke slapped Obito's hand away from his head, which had Obito laughing more and stepping back. "Anyhow, Fugaku-sama has requested a meeting over lunch with you and your mate." Obito nodded towards Naruto. "And of course you as well Deidara," Obito added with a smile.
Sasuke felt his stomach clench. He knew he had to face his parents, but years of hiding, emotional and physical repression, the expectations that being an Uchiha had on him, he suddenly felt dizzy and nauseous. His hand went up and pressed on his forehead when the vertigo feeling became too much.
Naruto was at Sasuke's side immediately, grasping Sasuke around his waist and pulling him in close. "Sasuke! Are you alright?" he whispered worriedly. His alpha's senses were heightened in worry when the omega suddenly paled and looked ready to collapse.
Sasuke leaned into Naruto, the strong citrus scent filling his senses and soothing him. "J-just need to lie down for a bit," Sasuke whispered out. He closed his eyes but eep'd out when he felt Naruto whisked him into his arms. Ready to protest at the sudden movement, his inner omega warmed him immediately at the gentle possessive movement and Sasuke felt his nausea subside as quickly as it surfaced. He retracted his protest and just relaxed in Naruto's hold.
"I'm taking him back to his bed to rest," Naruto barked out at the others and didn't wait for an answer, taking the steps carefully with Sasuke in his arms.
Deidara just watched with wide eyes and a smile.
"B-but Fugaku-sama said-"
"Oh he can wait," Deidara snapped out suddenly, cutting off Obito. "Let Fugaku-sama know that Sasuke is resting." Deidara nodded at Obito and took off after Naruto and Sasuke. "Such bossy Uchiha's," he muttered under his breath as he stomped after the two. Fugaku would know that he couldn't push his way around this manor, not while he and Itachi were here! Obito just watched the retreating blond omega, his face in surprise.
Naruto laid Sasuke back in his bed, tucked him in, fluffed his pillow and ran his hand gently along Sasuke's hair.
"Dobe...I'm fine, just-just tired," Sasuke said with a yawn as he covered his mouth with his hand. He settled beneath the covers as Naruto tucked him in and fussed over him.
Naruto planted a kiss on Sasuke's forehead before sitting on the edge of the bed. "Do you need water? Are you hungry? Is there any-"
"Dobe," Sasuke growled out sleepily before closing his eyes. He was suddenly just so exhausted, his body at peace and feeling heavy. The fog of sleep suddenly hit him as soon as he was nestled in his alpha's arms and for once he didn't feel worried. 'Did the alpha have anything to do with this feeling?' he thought to himself before sleep took him.
Naruto stopped talking and released a happy sigh while Sasuke immediately fell asleep. 'He must have been exhausted to fall asleep so fast,' Naruto thought to himself. His alpha was preening at the sight of the slumbering omega while his stomach was still fluttering about thinking about the pregnancy. Recalling when he woke earlier and didn't find Sasuke in the room, his alpha roared in panic but thankfully Deidara had managed to get him to calm down (and embarrassingly let him know that he fainted!) to let him know Sasuke was just outside. Naruto was in such a panic to find Sasuke, that he ran out the door with only one thought on his mind, find Sasuke. Especially since the last few times in their history had not been positive when either of them were missing. And when he saw Sasuke walking through the crisp glittering snow, deep in thought, the sun reflecting the blue highlights off his hair, his cheeks flushed red from the cold, Naruto couldn't think of any other time that Sasuke was just so beautiful. The dream he had about Sasuke telling him about he was carrying their child, their pup, was still surreal and he prayed that it wasn't a dream. All he could think about was embracing his mate, scenting him, coddling him and ensuring he was all real when he fell to his knees in the snow before Sasuke.
Naruto hadn't ever thought about having pups anytime soon, sure it was something he thought about as a future, but to be thrown into a reality that he and his mate were going to be parents sooner than later, his body flooded with warmth, happiness and possessiveness. His alpha had snarled loudly, demanding to protect his mate and pup with such vengeance that Naruto thought he would lose it. The overwhelming instincts to find his mate, wrap him up to protect him from everything and anything rippled through him when he jumped out of the bed to find Sasuke.
"Holy shit, I gotta tell baa-chan!" he whispered loudly to himself and slapped his forehead. "What will she say? Will she be pissed?" Naruto scratched his head in worry, not sure about how Tsunade would take this news. He was already belittled by other clans because of his age and being a leader alpha, how would she take the news that he was going to be a father? He then shook his head quickly. It didn't matter now what others thought of him, he reminded himself. He believed he was a good alpha, he was gaining knowledge, wisdom and respect as he continued to follow in his baa-chans' footsteps. Sure, he had his immature moments, he snorted out loud, but this past year, his life had changed in so many steps that he was beginning to think and act differently. He smiled warmly at Sasuke's sleeping form. 'And it all started with you, my mate, my Sasuke,' he thought warmly to himself.
Gently, he moved his hand to the small of Sasuke's stomach area and rubbed his palm over the still flat area where his pup lay, growing and getting strong. "And I will protect both of you with everything," he whispered before leaning over Sasuke and placing a gentle kiss on the raven's forehead.
Deidara closed the door quietly, seeing that Naruto was having a moment with a now sleeping Sasuke. He smiled to himself as he tiptoed away from the room. He would leave the two alone, now that Sasuke seemed to be more at ease and resting comfortably and Naruto was doting over his mate like the kind, caring and compassionate alpha he was. Deidara let out a long sigh. 'Hopefully the shitshow around here will finally calm down for them.' He made his way to the dining room where he knew Fugaku and Mikoto would be, as they were expecting Sasuke and Naruto. He would have to let his inlaws know that they would not be joining them anytime soon. He smirked slightly as he made his way to the dining room.
Deidara strolled into the vibrant dining room to find Fugaku and Mikoto sitting at the head of the massive dining table, Obito and Izumi to the left of Mikoto and the burly alpha Kakazu standing a few feet behind Fugaku, his creepy green eyes the only thing showing behind his covered face. Deidara threw a scowl at Kakazu before walking to the other end of the table.
"Sasuke and his mate on their way?" Fugaku growled out while tilting his head to look behind Deidara.
"I'm afraid not Fugaku-sama," Deidara replied coldly and took an empty seat close to Fugaku. "Sasuke is resting and Naruto is with him." He grabbed a napkin, fluffed it out before putting it on his lap.
"And where is Itachi?" Fugaku grumbled out.
"Itachi-sama is at the Uzumaki residence, Fugaku-sama," Deidara drawled out, trying his best not to sound annoyed. Fugaku began to speak but Deidara cut him off. "Our pack mates are at the Uzumaki residence and Itachi-sama went to personally thank the Uzumaki pack for their assistance in ensuring our pack members were well taken care of. I suspect he will be back soon with Kisame and Hidan." Deidara let out a small huff and grabbed his glass that was filled with water.
"Your tone is not appreciated, Deidara-kun," Fugaku growled out, grabbing his own napkin and flipping it open.
Deidara bit his lip, holding back his retort.
"Fugaku-sama dear," Mikoto purred out and placed her hand on Fugaku's arm. "We will meet with our sons soon enough darling." She patted her mate's arm gently. Fugaku just snorted out a response. She glanced over at Deidara, a warm smile on her lips. "Thank you Deidara-kun for taking care of us, Sasuke and Itachi," she hummed out. Deidara glanced her way. "I can't imagine where our son's would be if you weren't here watching over them." She nodded her head towards him. "And Fugaku-sama feels the same way, don't you dear?" She gave Fugaku's arm a squeeze and Fugaku just cleared his throat.
"It's a pleasure and a joy being the omega head of the Uchiha household Mikoto-sama, and thank you," Deidara replied more gently. "Please enjoy the meal." As soon as the words left Deidara's lips, servers began to come into the dining room with the hot lunch.

"Honey I'm homeeeee!" Hidan bellowed out as he entered the Uchiha manor, Kisame right behind him. He kicked his shoes off and stretched his arms over his head. "Man, its soooooo good to be home!" His bones popped and he released a long howl of relief with Kisame chuckling behind him. "Hey! You okay there? Need help?" Hidan moved to Kisame's side, helping him with his jacket. Kisame just nodded his thanks as he let Hidan help him.
"Hidan! Kisame! Oh my god, you're home!" Deidara came running towards them and embraced them both in a hug. He pulled back, a hand on each of their shoulders and ran his eyes over the two wolves. "How are you feeling? Are you all healed up? Are you hungry?" Deidara began holding up their arms and looking over their bodies.
"Don't be so fresh!" Hidan laughed out while Deidara fussed over them and then squeaked out a sound when Deidara smacked him on the arm. "Hey hey! Don't damage the merchandise!" he laughed out.
"Where's Itachi-sama? Did he come home with you?"
"He was talking to the guy we brought back with us, what's his name… Utako? Umino?" Kisame hummed out.
"Yeah, whatever his name is. Itachi-sama was talking to him first before heading back," Hidan blurted out while shaking his head in agreement.
Deidara nodded. The wolf named Utakata, that Naruto had told him and Itachi about earlier. "Alright then, well lunch is still on the table in the dining room, go eat if you are hungry. And Fugaku-sama and Mikoto-sama have been visiting, and they are awaiting Itachi-sama's return." Deidara pointed to the dining room when Hidan and Kisame nodded. "And do be on your best behaviour," he emphasized the word in a British accent in a sarcastic manner. Hidan and Kisame just gawked at Deidara's behaviour. "Don't ask," Deidara flittered his fingers at the two beta and rolled his eyes. "But don't be too noisy, Sasuke is resting and Naruto is with him in his room. Poor Sasuke has had a rough couple days," he sighed out tiredly but with a small smile. The then pointed his finger at Hidan's chest and gave a glare. "So be quiet!" He flickered his eyes at the two of them, his lips pinched into a frown that meant business that had Hidan and Kisame nodding quickly in response. He turned and walked away, a smile on his lips as he headed back to the dining room, Hidan and Kisame on his heels.
"Hidan and Kisame have returned home, Fugaku-sama," Deidara announced when they re-entered the dining hall. Hidan and Kisame bowed towards Fugaku and Mikoto when they entered the room.
"Hn," Fugaku huffed out.
"Hidan-kun, Kisame-kun, pleasure to meet you," Mikoto purred out and stood up. She walked over to the two beta wolves who were still in a bowed position. She patted each of their heads gently, "please, do rise. I want to thank you for taking care of my sons." She smiled warmly when both rose. "Come and eat, I wish to know all about you." She gave an inviting wave with her hand before returning to the table, sitting beside Fugaku.
.
.
.
Deidara stood quickly when Itachi walked into the dining hall and embraced him. "Welcome home 'un," Deidara whispered into his ear, enjoying the warmth emanating from the alpha.
"Thank you love," Itachi whispered in response, inhaling the scent of his mate deeply before releasing him. "Tochan, Kachan," Itachi called out when he walked to the head of the table, taking a seat beside Deidara. He nodded towards his cousins and his pack mates as well before gathering up a plate to gather food.
"Itachi darling, how are you feeling?" Mikoto piped up. "I trust all went well?"
"As well as can be kachan, thank you. And yes, things are well." Itachi placed his plate of food before him.
"I trust you have assessed the situation at the Uzumaki clan household?" Fugaku gruffed out in a stern voice.
Itachi sighed quietly, "yes tochan, we can discuss it later."
"Hn," Fugaku responded, apparently he was satisfied with the answer.
"Sasuke and Naruto?" Itachi asked Deidara quietly, his eyes scanning the room.
"Sasuke is resting, Naruto is with him," Deidara whispered. "There is much to talk about there as well." Deidara smiled.
Itachi nodded slowly and then rubbed the area between his eyes. A headache was forming as layer upon layer of situations were slowly building up in the Uchiha household.
"Cousin, you must take me for a tour, I would love to see what has been done here," Obito spoke up to break the silence of the room. "I'm sure Izumi will come?" Obito looked over at her and she nodded eagerly.
"There will be a later time for sightseeing, there are more pressing matters to deal with," Fugaku barked out.
"Hai Fugaku-sama," Obito responded quietly. He dropped his eyes back to the plate and poked at the food on his plate.
Itachi frowned at the outburst. He glanced over at his cousins, Obito and Izumi, "I am certain that we can arrange a time for a tour of the area and other areas. This is not an inconvenience at all." Itachi gave Obito and Izumi a soft smile and ignored Fugaku's glare. "We can discuss this later, if you will excuse me, I am going to nap." Itachi slowly got up and nodded towards his parents. He grabbed Deidara's hand and both wolves left the room.
"Hmph," Fugaku grunted out after Itachi and Deidara left the room. He looked over to where Hidan and Kisame were sitting and still eating. "You two," he barked out. "Tell me about the situation you had in the mountains." Fugaku gathered up his glass, sipping on the deep red wine, his dark eyes focused on the two wolves.
Hidan raised his brows at the elder Uchiha clan leader before pinching his lips together in thought. He glanced over at Kisame who just conveniently shovelled a large portion of food in his mouth. "Well Uchiha-sama, there isn't much to say. We," he pointed between himself and Kisame, "went to go find Naruto and Kakashi cause they were taking so long." Kisame nodded his head as he chewed.
"That sounds preposterous. I am certain that two alphas are capable of handling a retrieval mission, I don't see why Itachi had to send-"
"Now now dear," Mikota grabbed Fugaku's arm and squeezed. "Remember, Naruto is Sasuke's mate. I'm certain Sasuke was worried." She smiled at Hidan.
"That's right Uchiha-sama, it was mainly for Sasuke." Hidan nudged Kisame who hummed in agreement with his mouthful of food.
"Tell me what you saw on your travels, Hidan-kun," Mikoto purred out softly, keeping her hand on Fugaku's arm.
"Not much Uchiha-sama, just a lot of forest, the same old stuff really." Hidan scratched at his chin as if thinking about it. "Came across an area that used to have a village there and that's when we were ambushed by them vampires."
"Vampires you say. Do go on," Fugaku hummed out, nodding his head and swirling his glass of red wine.

Later that evening, both clans had gathered in a large sitting room after a simple dinner that Sasuke and Naruto did not attend. This was not surprising since Sasuke was resting, and his mate refused to let anyone have Sasuke move from the bed until he said so. Deidara had taken Sasuke and Naruto dinner up to the bedroom and informed them both that the family was meeting after dinner to discuss business.
At first Naruto flat out refused, stating that Sasuke didn't need to be subjected to any negative conversations that he felt the Uchiha clan leader may bring up, but Sasuke interjected, informing Naruto that they were his family and that he should at least meet with his parents to inform them of their news. Not to mention they haven't officially given their blessing yet to have Naruto as Sasuke's mate. Naruto may have whined at the suggestion, since his first meeting with the elder Uchiha wasn't exactly a warmhearted welcome to the family event, but eventually he readily agreed, especially when Sasuke gave him the stern look of 'i dare you to say no'.
Naruto and Sasuke entered the room, Sasuke bowing to his parents in greeting before a small gasp escaped his lips. His inner omega wolf pushed a rush of panic through his system when he saw the large green eyed alpha standing at the far side of the room, staring directly at him. He stepped back right into Naruto's chest, his heart hammering hard causing his mentality to panic while he tried to calm his breathing.
"Sasuke, wah?" Naruto wrapped his arms around Sasuke's arms and chest, feeling the anxiety in waves coming off of him. His alpha's hackles seemed to rise in alarm, causing Naruto's protectiveness to rise to the surface.
Mikoto suddenly stepped before Sasuke, blocking his view of the green eyed alpha. "Sasuke dear, look at me." She held his cheeks and looked into his eyes. "It's alright, breathe deep and get control." She spoke softly but steady, rubbing Sasuke's cheeks with her thumbs and breathing loudly.
Sasuke found his mother's eyes, could feel his mate holding him and he managed to get himself calmed down enough to realize what had happened. "Hn, okay. I'm good." He flicked his head back slightly to have his mother's hand removed from his face. He turned to look up at Naruto's concerned face and grabbed his hand, giving it a squeeze. "I'm good," he whispered out.
Mikoto did not show any emotion to Sasuke shaking her off and just gave a gentle smile. "Come, sit, we have much to talk about." She looked up at Naruto as well before turning and going to sit back next to Fugaku.
Sasuke took a deep breath, squeezed Naruto's hand again and headed for one of the couches that was closer to Itachi and Deidara, the furthest away from the strange green eyed alpha that was standing in the shadows of his parents. Obito and Izumi stood behind Fugaku and Mikoto as well, nodding and smiling at Sasuke.
"Tochan, Kachan, you wanted to discuss something?" Sasuke cleared his throat after he had settled next to Naruto. Naruto had not let go of his hand, he found it very soothing as he kept his gaze on both of his parents. His inner omega still pawed at his thoughts, obviously distrubed with the strange green eyed alpha, but he managed to hold it at bay. "And who is this alpha?" He added quickly, glaring quickly up at the stranger.
"Kakazu. He joined the Uchiha clan and had trained hard to be a protector of our clan. He has earned his position by my side as my bodyguard," Fugaku explained. "But your mother and I," he shifted in his seat and leaned forward. "Wanted to inform you that we were aware of your status."
Sasuke blinked several times, his eyes flickering back and forth between parents. "W-what status?" He was confused about what situation his parents were trying to convey to him.
"We know you are omega dear," Mikoto spoke up this time, giving an apologetic smile. "And from what we under-"
"Excuse me?" Sasuke cut her off, his voice rose a few octaves and his body tensed up. "You, both of you, w-who told you?" Sasuke's body began to vibrate.
"No one dear, we knew all along," Mikoto answered quickly, her tone soft but one could hear the worry laced within it.
Sasuke heated up within, his body on fire with sudden rage and disappointment. His omega was howling out in distress at the sudden emotional turmoil. "How could - no - how the hell could you say such a thing! Now! A-after all...everything t-tha-happened-fucking hell!" Sasuke stood suddenly, his eyes bled red when they narrowed dangerously at his parents, his fists were shaking at his side but his body was rigid. "Y-you knew all along," he mocked his mother's words, the venom hissing from his mouth as he did so.
"Sasuke!" Fugaku snapped out, his tone fierce.
"NO! You-you call yourself a leader-a proud Uchiha warrior-a fucking parent?!" Sasuke barked right back at Fugaku. "You allowed me to believe…" Sasuke spat out in a sputter. "You couldn't have at least TALKED to me?!" His words cut through the ice in the room, splitting through the air like blades and he growled maniacally when he could see his parents' surprised expressions just from his words. "You two," he pointed at both of them with a shaking finger, "stay away from me!" He growled out the last words with a glare and turned to leave the room.
"Sasuke wait, please?" It was Mikoto, standing quickly to chase after him.
"NO! Stay away from me!" Sasuke turned quickly holding his hand up to stop her, his eyes burning red when he snarled warningly. " .Alone," his growl was laced with anger and venom. When Mikoto didn't move, her body steady, her eyes in shock, Sasuke turned away and stomped out the door, Naruto on his heels.
The door slammed shut and the silence hovered over the group for several minutes. Mikoto just stared at the now closed door, a small gasp of a sob escaped her lips. She hugged herself but remained where she stood. Fugaku sat frozen on the couch, Obtio and Izumi looked at each other surprised.
Deidara moved to console Mikoto but Itachi held him back. Deidara gave a sad look at Itachi but relaxed back into the couch when Itachi shook his head firmly no. Itachi knew his obouto well. He knew full well that Sasuke wouldn't accept his tochan and kachan explanation about his status. 'Sasuke was an Uchiha after all,' he smirked inwardly at himself. "He will need time kachan," Itachi spoke up first, breaking the iced silence in the room.
Mikoto's watery eyes looked over at her eldest son, Itachi couldn't help but feel a tug at his heart at the sight of his mother's broken look. He sighed, "you understand what he went through and I find it hard to believe you would have expected my otouto to just accept what you had to say." Itachi let out a long annoyed sigh. Mikoto rubbed her arms and looked at the closed door again.
"Mikoto, come dear," Fugaku called out softly, holding his hand out. When Mikoto settled down next to him, he turned to Itachi. "Let us discuss other business then for the time being. One being the Christmas Gala that we would like you to host."
Itachi frowned at the request. He knew his parents would want to discuss it again, but again, he wasn't in the mood to nor was he interested in allowing the extended Uchiha clan to his home. "It is not a good idea tochan. There are just too many unexpected situations happening here at the moment," his voice was acute.
"Christmas is just a few weeks away, dear Itachi. We," Mikoto motioned between herself and the others, "would stay here until the event." She gave Itachi a hopeful smile. "And that way, your father and I could talk to Sasuke." Her smile was sad now, her eyes wide and glimmering with unshed tears as she stared almost painfully at Itachi.
"Your mother has a good point. Give us time to talk to Sasuke, explain, understand, and learn about what he has done since being here with you." Fugaku nodded firmly, his lips tightly fused together.
Itachi figured that was as close to being sensitive as his tochan would get. Looking over at Deidara, who's face just held a look of expectation who would for certain accept whatever Itachi decided, Itachi frowned deeply. His tear troughs deepened as he thought about what his parents had suggested. "What are your thoughts Dei?" He decided to hear his mate's thoughts aloud considering his own thoughts were a flat out no.
Deidara frowned slightly, his brows furrowed and he looked down at his hands for a few moments. "I believe that Sasuke needs time to, let's see 'un, work on hearing Mikoto-san and Fugaku-sama's story?" He looked back up at Itachi, his eyes nervous. "Cause, you know, I've never had parents, and it would be a shame that, ya know, you both lose parents that are right here 'un?" Deidara blabbered out, his voice full of concern and uncertainty as he nervously scratched at his scalp. "But with Sasuke's condition, it could be-well you know, the stress of it all, could be…" he trailed off.
Itachi relaxed his shoulders and pulled Deidara in close for a side hug and kissed his temple. "It's alright, I understand completely." He stroked Deidara's hair and let out a purr so Deidara would relax before looking at his expectant parents who were surprisingly quiet through the exchange. "I agree to hold the gala here," he pointed out. Mikoto beamed and Fugaku nodded firmly. "But," Itachi held up his hand to stop any chatter. "There will have to be conditions to this event." He looked firmly at both his parents. "Not only out of respect for my pack's home, but for Sasuke as well."
Mikoto breathed out the breath that she had been holding. "Thank you musuko," Mikoto breathed out softly.
"We will go over the finer details in the next few days." Fugaku stood suddenly when he spoke. "Until then, I believe Mikoto and I have some things to discuss with Obito, Izuki and Kakazu before we retire for the evening. If we could, Itachi, I would like to meet tomorrow to discuss what you have learned about the guest at the Uzumaki pack home."
"That would be fine tochan," Itachi responded plainly as he stood, pulling up Deidara beside him. "Good night tochan, kachan," he nodded out to his parents. Deidara nodded as well and followed Itachi out of the room.
~Meanwhile…~
Sasuke slammed the door to his room, his anger radiating off him in waves, Naruto trying to catch up. 'Of all the fucking nerve!' Sasuke's mind was full of rage that left several broken questions and profane terms in his head, all directed towards his parents.
"Sasuke, wait, calm down!" Naruto called out, rushing to his side and trying to wrap his arm around the waist. "Talk to me Sas," he pleaded when Sasuke continued to pace around the room, not allowing Naruto to hold him steady.
"How could-fuck no, how dare they! Jezuz fucking, damn it all! Of all the-!" Sasuke continued to swear out various broken sentences and profanities as his mate dutily followed him around the room.
Naruto finally managed to get Sasuke in his grasp and walked with him, realizing that he wasn't going to be able to get Sasuke to stop moving. His alpha was pacing around in his mind, pushing at Naruto to go and soothe his mate, yet didn't understand why the omega was not calming down. "Come, sit with me, talk to me, let me in…" Naruto pleaded as he led Sasuke to the edge of the bed. Thankfully Sasuke followed but his body was still tense with anger. Naruto clambered behind Sasuke on the bed and began to rub his shoulders softly but firmly, listening to Sasuke mutter under his breath. "Okay, I get it, your parents pissed ya off, that's allowed ya know," Naruto hummed out as he worked his thumbs into the stress knots that were apparent in Sasuke's neck.
Sasuke took a breath, feeling the soothing movements on his neck and back and dropped his shoulders. His head fell forward staring at his fists that were still clenched in his lap. "How could they?" he whispered to himself.
Naruto didn't answer, he just continued to rub Sasuke's muscles, understanding how Sasuke was and somehow he knew that if opened his mouth it wouldn't help. He would be that physical support instead.
"How could they...after all this, they let it - they didn't-" Sasuke continued to murmur to himself. Sadness began to settle behind his eyes, the familiar sting causing his eyes to water. He pinched his lips hard in a frown, willing his tears away, he refused to allow this betrayal by his parents have him feel weak.
Naruto watched his mate carefully, black locks falling in front of Sasuke's face, the slight tremble in his shoulders and his fists remained tightly clenched in his lap. He couldn't imagine the emotional tumult that could be going through Sasuke's head at this very moment. Sasuke had shared with him about growing up an Uchiha, the strain of pride placed upon Uchiha cubs to be alphas because every other status was considered inadequate. The constant emotional conflicts with himself, his wolf, that Sasuke had endured, all because of the beliefs placed upon him from his clan regarding an omega status. It pained Naruto to learn of the hardship that Sasuke had been subjected to in his youth and because of that information, he did not have a positive perception of the elder Uchiha clan leaders. But now, for Sasuke to learn that his parents had known his omega status all along, had never discussed with him, talked to him, or at least been honest with Sasuke, left Naruto's inner beast growling. The sudden whisper of a sob in the air broke Naruto's thoughts, his protective nature rushing to the forefront of his mind when he realized his mate was in distress.
Pulling Sasuke gently back towards him, Naruto maneuvered the both of them so Naruto was cradling Sasuke within his arms. He couldn't see Sasuke's face, but he knew his stoic omega was reserved when it came to his emotions, so he tucked Sasuke's head under his chin and released his rumbling deep purr from his chest and a calming scent. He could feel the omega trembling and struggling with the emotional onslaught and Naruto rocked him as they sat together on the bed, comforting him the best he could and he would wait as long as it took.

Being a beta can be frustrating cause most times many authors lose the muse to continue and just end. I am saddened when that happens. Now, as it would be, I was kinda putting my feelers out there for a beta to go over my new wip that I'm working on. Still feeling about...testing the waters... Keep smiling sunshines :D
