"Looks like all the bags are in." Brick says while slamming his trunk. "I call shotgun!" Butch screams as he runs to the car. Brick sticks out his arm and catches his brother. "Butch can i have a word?" Brick drags his brother to the side and lets Blossom get into the passenger seat. "Butch you understand i'm dating Blossom now right?" Butch nods his head clearly not listening. "Ok how about this. You see Buttercup sitting in the back. Wouldn't she like it for her boyfriend to sit next to her?" Butch was listening up until boyfriend. "Woah time out Brick. Me and Buttercup aren't a thing yet. I'm planning on asking in style ya'know." Butch says while walking the back seat. "You still have a lot to learn little brother." He says before getting into the car. "Im older than you- oh whatever." Brick says while walking to the driver seat. To make sure the girls actually thought they were on a road trip, the boys hid all the weapons in small compartments in the car. Now all the have to do is travel to New York without any trouble. "Brick how come we didn't take a plane to New York or just fly using our powers?" Boomer asks while taking his seat next to Bubbles. "Well if we just flew how would we be able to bond closer?" Brick says off the top of his head. He honestly just wanted to drive but now that he thinks about it flying would be way easier. But the bags are already in the car so it's to late. Brick backed up the car and began their journey not aware of the danger they were heading right into.
"Brick how long until we get there?" Boomer asked his brother after waking up from his nap. "Google said the drive is 42 hours and we've been driving for 4 hours now so you tell me." Brick said to his brother. "Let's see 42-4, so 24 hours left." Boomer responded with a wide smile on his face. "Boomer how dumb can you possibly be?" Butch says after also waking up. Brick looked in the rear view mirror at Butch only to see Buttercup laying on his shoulder with a soft smile. He could also see Butch looking at her and smiling to. "Looks like our boy Butchies in love." Brick said with a wide grin. He knew saying that would annoy Butch but that's what makes it fun. "Please Brick. Me in love? Don't make me laugh, there's no way i'm in love with Buttercup" Butch says while Boomer looks at him while shaking his head. Almost immediately Buttercup wakes up and snuggles deeper into Butches shoulder. "I love you Butch" She says not knowing what he had said seconds before. "I love you to Buttercup." Butch says blushing and kissing her forehead. Brick and Boomer start to laugh hardly at their brother. Not to long after Buttercup woke up so do the other girls. They drove for another 3 hours before deciding to stay at a hotel for the night. They decided the couples should each get a room with each other so Brick and Blossom together, Butch and Buttercup together, and Boomer and Bubbles together. When checking into the hotel Brick had noticed the manager had a tattoo of a dragon on his hand. He couldn't figure out why but it looked familiar somehow.
Brick and Blossom go into their room and sit on the bed together. Brick runs his fingers through Blossoms hair and smiled. He couldn't remember the last time someone made him this happy. He put his hand under Blossoms chin and turned her head to face his. They stared at each other's eyes and were slowly leaning in to kiss each other before they were interrupted by the door. "I'm getting in the shower so why don't you get the door." Blossom says practically running to the bathroom so she wouldn't have to answer. "God I love that woman." Brick says while walking to the door. He opens it and is met with the managers face but he didn't appear as friendly as he was just minutes ago. The manager had a smiling and cheerful face when they first met but now he had a cold and emotionless face. Just looking at this guy gave Brick chills down his spine. As Brick looked at him he could tell something was completely off about him but couldn't place it at the time. The manager walked into the room and sat onto the bed to meet Bricks eyes with a cold gaze from his. "I'm sure the others will be meeting here shortly so don't worry." The manager said. Brick didn't know what that meant but he knew it had to be bad news.
Boomer and Bubbles were in bed watching a movie when they unexpectedly heard a knock at the door. Boomer got up to answer the door thinking it was just Butch coming to mess with him but he was surprised with who was there. Instead of Butch or Brick being there it was the manager but something was wrong. His face was emotionless and his eyes cold. "Boomer who's at the door?" Bubbles asks her eyes still glued to the TV screen. "Mr Jojo i'd like to have a word with you in the hallway." The manager says stepping back so Boomer could follow him. "Bubbles i'll be right back ok." Boomer says to his girlfriend. She says ok while still watching the movie. Boomer followed the manager down the hallway until they eventually reached Brick and Blossom's room. He opens the door and sees something really confusing. On the bed was Brick and the manager but it couldn't be him since the manager was also next to Boomer in the doorway. Something strange was happening in this hotel.
Butch and Buttercup unsurprisingly were making out in their room. Butch managed to get his and Buttercups shirt off before someone arrived at the door knocking. Butch assumed it was Boomer trying to pull something so he approached the door angrily. "You got some nerve Boome-" Butch started before realizing it wasn't Boomer but the manager of the hotel. "Sorry about that i thought you were someone else." Butch says apologetically to the manager but from what he was seeing the manager wasn't happy with his apology. In Fact he wasn't showing any emotion at all. "Mr Jojo i'd appreciate it if you followed me." The manager says trying to coax Butch into following him. "Yeah right i'm not doing that." The boy says while closing the door. "Its your brother Boomer we've got a call that hes collapsed in his room." The manager quickly says to get his attention. Butch stops and looks at him. "Buttercup don't even think about putting that shirt back on, i'll be back in a bit." He says stepping into the hall with the manager. Those words had made Buttercup blush and heat up but that's what Butch was trying to do. Butch ran with the manager to the room but they ended up at Bricks door and not Boomers. They open the door and Butch couldn't believe his eyes. Brick and Boomer sitting side by with 2 other people. The other 2 people were none other than the manager somehow being 3 seperate people. But that's impossible. Almost suddenly the man next to Butch and the one next to Boomer stood up and with a bright flash disappeared leaving one sole version of the manager. The last one stood up and began to speak. "Lets cut right to the chase gentlemen. I'm here to kill you." The man says that so smoothly and lacking any emotion. Before anything could happen or anyone could do anything Blossom walked out of the bathroom and sees everyone in her room. "I see you guys are busy with your friend here so i'll just go hang out with Bubbles and Buttercup. Text me when you guys are done talking Brick." The girl says and kisses Bricks cheek. She walks out of the room leaving them all alone. "Now we can either fight here in this bedroom and risk killing those girls you care for in the progress or we can take this behind the building where the only people who will die will be you 3." For the first time the man showed an emotion while saying this. Brick noticed his sinister smile while he talked about killing them but the boys decided to follow him anyway.
They go outside and behind the building just like he told them only to be met with a surprise. "Well since i'll killing you in a bit i might as well explain myself. You boys understand already why i'm going to kill you right?" He asks the boys. All 3 respond with nods showing they know they gangs and police want them dead for interfering with their plans. "Good now i'll explain my ability so you know what to expect." He divides again into separate beings. "You see i can split myself and make clones all with the sole objective to end you. If it helps you understand better imagine this power of mine as if its the Shadow Clone Jutsu from Naruto since its the closest thing to my technique even if its from an get ready to die!" All 3 versions of the man say at once. The boys get ready to fight for their lives. "You know im just now remembering we have powers." Boomer says as his body channels electricity allowing him to shoot it at the man. "Oh yeah your right." Brick says igniting his hands with flames to make sure he hurts this bastard. "Lets kick this guys ass." Butch says while his hands harden almost as strong as metal. The boys stood their staring and thinking of how they could win this fight. This was sure to be one of their toughest fights yet but this was just the beginning.
