Chapter 4: Meet the Goddess of Wisdom

United Republic of Europe (EU - Europa United)

Within one of the three major national power, Europe, which is a republican region and has been at war with the Holy Britannian Empire for a long while. The EU is very stubborn to never give up against the war with Britannian and has suffered a good amount of losses but managed to battle through. The nation goes from the whole of Europe to Russia and Africa, and their nation rivals both Britannia & China. The current capital is Paris as Great Britain is the former now but is a secondary one to honor and respect their ancestors.

In Paris, within a command mansion, the base of operations for a few commanders within the EU Army. The living room had a massive TV screen on and had shown the performance that the New Zero & his new ally, the Third Princess of Britannia. The person watching the show is very captives by the show, being highly interested, impressed, and curious all at once about this new masked knight.

The person was a young woman that was a beauty with long black hair reaching to her waist and stunning purple color eyes. She had a stunning figure, build for agility and speed while like a goddess of wisdom aura around her. And also a true Knightmare Pilot in the making as well.

Her attire was a military uniform, being yellow tan shirt with a white undershirt with a collar and green tie, a black skirt, black leggings, and brown dress shoes.

This was Athena Ainzworth, one of the high-ranking majors of the EU Army despite her age and was brilliant on the battlefield. Her Knightmare pilot skills were no joke, a true goddess of war on her enemies.

Athena had turned on the TV to learn more about what happened in Japan (Area 11) but to her surprise the rise of this new white, Zero. She kept having this feeling like she should know the last one, the black knight, Zero. He was so familiar to her and this one was a completely different person while also striking her interest.

The black-haired beauty had been following the actions of Zero and Order of the Black Knights since their first performance. She respects this group of rebels and idealists, seeing them as not terrorists as most would. She saw them as something else and could tell that this new Zero would finish what the last one had started.

"Athena, are you here!" A female voice called out, friendly and hit of France accent that got the raven color beauty's attention.

The said person was a beautiful young woman of the same age & matching figure as Athena, with light blonde hair that is very long, bangs that reach to her eyes with two locks framing her face, behind her hair reaches the small of her back, and also has two egg-shaped buns that usually held up with golden colored braces. Her eyes were light purple but they are the signs of someone that has seen & went through so much, would be damn to let happen again.

Her attire was an EU Military uniform, different from her friend's. The main color was blue with red outlines on the collar & end sleeves to an armband with white angel wings and blue military shirk which many could see as a dress but was not. She also had dark blue leggings and heeled shows connected to them.

This was Leila Malcal, a military officer in the EU Army and close friend of Athena, along with both of them being commanders in the wZERO Group.

"In the living room, Leila," Athena called back as she saw her friend walking into the living room to greet her friend.

"Ah, Athena," Leila greeted with a smile on her face as she returned that and shared a good hug with one another.

"What brings you here, Leila?" Athena asked as the two-part away walked over to the couch to have a seat.

"Just visiting and seeing if you saw the news of late which I can see you already have," Leila said, seeing the media was still showing the same video of this new masked, this White Knight.

"I have...this Zero is a new one. I wonder if the old is truly dead or captured by Britannia," Athena said, speaking her thoughts out loud.

"Hmm, hard to say now which I have come here to report to you of some troubling news, sadly," Leila said with a frown on her face.

"Go on," Athena said, knowing those trouble news might be a bad one.

"First, many of the higher-ups and commanding officers are wondering or trying to figure out how to contact this new Zero for an alliance. Help the EU and the Black Knights get to test the next-gen Knightmares that Anna is creating," Leila started.

"Anna is going to love the combat data that comes from the Black Knights," Athena commented with a smirk, knowing how her friend can be, and caused Leila to giggle a little at that comment as she knows it to be true.

But the black-haired beauty wonders both that.

"Why the alliance?" Athena asked.

"Well, that is the second reason for the report. It's because Africa, the southern part of EU is being attacked and hammed by the Britannia Army," Leila reported.

"Damn it...(sigh) how long until Britannia moves northern?" Athena asked, after taking a deep breath in & out.

"A month, two at the most. We are hoping we can make a good last stand before they enter the main EU territory. And other bad news, Russia has decided to become their own state, being inspired by the Black Knights & Black Rebellion to this new Zero rising. Russia is in a state of civil war as the majority of them are calling themselves the Euro Britannians and others Russians," Leila explained.

"Hence why of calling the Black Knights & their new leader all the better. And we have connections with Peace Mark, who can help with supplies & information to the knights. Two groups can help each other greatly," Athena added, thinking steps ahead and seeing the military plan was here.

On the off chance that Africa becomes Britannia's areas & number systems, the EU can have a strong defensive & rear guard until the talks with Russia comes forward. Russia would most likely help the EU with all of their help but that's if they win against the Euro Britannia in their civil war. If not, then the EU, Black Knights, and Peace Mark would ambush from both sides.

A dangerous gamble was at the foot.

"I take it that the China Federations are going to help Britannia?" Athena asked, already knowing the answer to that.

"Unlikely...I have heard rumors that a few were planning to use the Black Knights as enforcers and elders want them to be political pawns if they get their hands on them. You know how those vultures are, Athena," Leila replied.

"That I know, Leila," Athena said.

The two friends stay quiet, thinking and knowing that the EU would be going into a different kind of battle which is most likely a doom rear guard.

Unknown Location

"I see...hmmm, yes I saw the news. It's going on for the last ten hours now," A voice said.

"Don't worry about the EU. Just have the front wave keep them busy while my forces & I at the back deal with those damn Russians. Now I can't promise we be able to help in the end," The unknown voice said while hiding some hidden attention but being reasonable.

"Of course, I would have someone to meet you here at the station and towards the capital for the next move, Sir Kingsley."

This has just got very good or really bad...we shall see what happens next.
