Chapter 11: The alliance builds up

Somewhere in China

In a nice royal temple, just outside we see a garden that was untouched by the corrputed vultures' hands and a perfect place for the young empress to enjoy a sense of peace. And away from the High Eunuchs, those old power-hungry men.

Azmodan or now Zero watched from the sides, seeing Kaguya talking with the empress who was a year younger than her as they enjoy their lunch. The said empress was a young girl at the age of fourteen with pale skin, white hair, and red eyes. Her hair is in an elaborate style and her attire is a beautiful & highly decorative dress but not exactly something to work in as much.

This is the Chinese Empress, Tianzi but that's a title. Her true name is Jiang Lihua.

Azmodan smiled a bit underneath his mask and was glad that Kaguya was enjoying her time with her friend. And it seems Tianzi was a bit happy to have a friend she can trust. He didn't like the High Eunuchs and had some plans in mind to remove them from power and expose them for all of their crimes. Those plans weren't ready yet nor were the Black Knights to pull it off. So it was a waiting game, a dangerous one, and hopeful our white knight can pull those plans off & defend the EU well.

Then the Prince of Lust started to sense he was being watched and turned his head ever so slightly to the right, seeing within the corner of his eye who watching him. He didn't see the person but rather sensed three were watching him from the shadows. Not on him but rather their attention was on the empress and the desire to protect her was deeply out of kindness & respect.

"Hmm, guards huh? This might be interesting," Azmodan thought and decied to see who the guards are, wondering what their attentions are.

Best to meet future enemies or allies, because, after the EU and other things, Azmodan plans on helping the Empress of China & her people of being free from those vultures. Better to meet those possible now than later.

"Please excum me," Zero said, taking his leave.

"Where are you going?" Kaguya asked.

"Take a walk, enjoy some sightseeing as it would be a while before we come here again. If you don't mind your highness?" Zero asked in pure respect not mocky like some people often do to the young empress.

It was true while seeing what those guards are up to as well.

"No, I don't mind. Please enjoy your walk," Tianzi said, being a bit taken aback by Zero's kindness but granted that request.

Zero nodded his head and left the pair to enjoy their lunch & tea while he goes to see about the three guards. He stopped his walk and checked to be sure he wasn't being followed.

"You three can come out now," Zero called out, which surprised the three who were hiding but came out.

The first was a tall young man with a lean body, brown eyes, and long black hair that reached to his knees donned with a red back headpiece. He was somewhere a bit in his twenties. He wears a blue short shirt similar to a men's qipao and a long white shirt with two cut leg slits underneath. He also dons a red sash with his sword attached to it, black pants, and brown boots.

The second was a young girl, with long light brown hair that we can see that was tied into a pair of ponytails, with a pair of Chinese styled hair buns along with them, using a pair of white and golden ribbons of sorts, she had a pretty pale and yet smooth looking skin tone, making her look like a precious doll, a pair of deep purple eyes that could be mistaken for a pair of gems, and also while her figure was a more petite one, she still showed some well trained and attractive forms, like her hips, long legs.

For her attire we could see that she was wearing a modified Chinese short dress, being sleeveless as it left her shoulder free, her arms being covered by separate sleeves attached to a pair of golden rings, the dress itself was white and blue, which covered her form but left her legs discovered to the world, her chest area is covered by a pair of white sheets of the dress, leaving a small opening in the middle of her chest area, while her legs were covered by a pair of white and black long leggings, with a pair of Chinese shoes on her feet to match.

The third was a young woman with brown hair which had four short ponytails - two on side of her hand and a long bang on the right side of her face that reached down to her chest. Her blue eyes had a bit of grey them and something that was like the sky. She wore a woman's qipao which was green in the middle, brown red on her shoulders, light brown on the sleeves, dark blue to light brown leggings sleeves that connect with her qipao, and dark blue heeled boots.

They are Li Xingke, Kigi Su, and Zhou Xianglin, true royals of the Empress & people of China.

"Greetings," Zero said with a small nod of his head.

"Zero," Xingke said back, greeting.

Kigi Su and Xianglin nodded their heads in response.

"I see that the empress has a lot that is loyal to her...very good," Zero commented, looking back at Kaguya and Tianzi enjoying their meal.

"Empress Tianzi may not have a large amount of support and power within politics & power but the people and those that followed her, truly beleive changes will come for China," Xingke explained.

Zero nodded his head in agreement and was glad to hear that, meaning the people would beleive their empress when she fully comes into power and those vultures are removed. She would have a large amount of support and power but that would be null now until those old fools are gone.

"Good to hear but with the High Eunuchs still in play and power, things would be null and nothing at this time," Zero said.

"Sadly that's true," Kigi Su agreed.

"Indeed but more and more have been joining Lord Xingke on putting Empress Tianzi into power, like she should have," Zhou Xianglin explained.

"Hmm indeed. How about we finish a talk, a bit properly? Would care to join me for dinner?" Zero asked, sending the three invitations for dinner and surprising them.

"Dinner?" Xingke said in surprise.

"With you?" Kigi Su and Zhou Xianglin tested.

"Yes. I would be happy for you three to come and we can have a proper talk about the future. Please do come, my chiefs have to be the best," Zero replied.

"We...we need time to think on that offer and might come," Xingke said, honestly.

"Sounds reasonable...but I hope you come," Zero said, taking his leave while getting his phone out to make a call.

"Yeah?" Kallen spoke on the other end.

"Kallen, please tell the chiefs of making some dinner. I think I want to try some Chinese and Japanese food. We are going to have some guests over," Zero informed.

"Well easy done than said," Kallen groaned.

"Pardon?" Zero asked.

"Pizza Girl is already having the chiefs cooking some pizza for her. I'm surprised that it took her that long to start barking orders to make pizza. So, yeah, I think I can have the chiefs place the order for dinner of that request but just don't expect pizza in dinner," Kallen explained.

"Oh, that would make sense, and thanks for the heads up. I had a feeling that CC would do that, sooner or later. Pizza, I can worry about that later. Now I'm in the mood for good dinner with our possible allies in China," Zero said while having a feeling that he would have to have a talk with CC about using her position to get pizza.

A long talk, that's for sure.

Time Skip

While the Sakura Mito Princess and China's Empress enjoy their tea together, the white-masked knight invited the three top loyal to the said empress to dinner. And they were deeply surprised by choice of dinner, from their homeland that people today hardly could gain. A few Japanese foods as well to balance some things and some good drinks as well.

"Ah welcome, Xingke, Kigi Su, and Xianglin," Zero greeted them with a hidden part, the lower jaw was maskless but the top wasn't, and allow him to drink & eat.

Azmodan had two different styles of makes, one for every day and the other for some special meals such as this.

The three were deeply surprised and shocked by this not just the invitation to dinner but also how this Zero had in fact done his research. Man of culture and class it seems.

"Impressive," Kigi Su commented as she along with her older brother and friend joined.

"Indeed...you seem to have some research," Xingke said.

"Why of course! If we are going to become possible allies, we should understand each other and have a proper area for our talk. I believe we could benefit each other, for China, for the Black Knights, and so on. Once the EU is done, I have some ideas to help China out...but that's if you want to hear more?" Zero informed, knowing he got the three on the line and felt their desire for freedom for China & her people growing stronger.

This is the start of an interesting alliance and friendship formed.

AN: Getting happy and excited about how this story is going. And yes, Kigi Su is th sesame one from the game Code Geass: Genesic Re; Code. I have brought her into the story as the little sister of Li Xingke and don't worry she would have a role in the story for sure, with more interactions with Azmodan/Zero. Also the next chapter I plan for a surprise to come out and will see all next time ;)
