Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Acidic Allies. Enjoy the 4000-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

"Damn it…" Aace muttered as he sighed and glared at the metal ball with annoyance. "It's not moving the right way at all," Aace said while he rolled his eyes.

He looked at the ball of scrap metal. He hadn't touched it of course. It was too dangerous to handle without damaging his hands and the last thing he wanted was to be in agony and pain over simply testing his quirk.

"Hmm…" Aace said as he held his hands into the air. "Maybe if I throw it up instead of…" Aace added before the object was sent spiraling into the air.

His eyes widened as it was sent far into the sky, far beyond what it should have been and it made Aace wince. He was after the small ball in seconds, his feet picking steam with each step he took towards the direction. He cursed the fact that he had done this on a hill as his house had been. He didn't say anything as it was his fault at the moment and he had no real reason to be upset at all besides

"Damn it…" Aace whispered to himself as he sighed and lamented how stupid he had been.

He reached up to catch the ball only to slam into someone which sent them rolling down the dirt path. He was thrown down the muddy slopes like a stone thrown into murky waters. It seemed someone who was nearby his home had been dragged into his problems which were the last thing he wanted at the moment.

"Ow," Aace said before he landed in a ball before he blinked. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you!" Aace stated before he shook his head and rolled his eyes.

The person he had crashed into was… Unique. He could tell from the fact she was PINK with a pair of small yellow horns. He had heard of quirks that morphed their bodies and transformed them entirely different when it came down to it.

She wore a simple purple shirt and a pair of shorts which made the woman look more like a country girl than well… An alien. Still? Aace was rather interested in who the hell this woman was. This woman seemed rather surprised at her at the moment that someone had smashed into her with all the force of a speeding ball. It almost made him wonder if she was an alien.

"Hi!" The woman yelled as Aace felt something slam into his face. "Sorry. I heard someone new was moving in." The woman said before Aace looked at them.

He looked at the palm of his hand where the ball of metal had hit him in the head. He groaned in pain before he slowly frowned to himself and found his voice.

"I'm sorry. you came to visit us?" Aace asked before he felt something start to slide down his head. "Great. It cut me when I didn't want it to." Aace said while he frowned and he hummed to himself.

He started to check out what to do next. The pain danced on his hands while he frowned to himself. He was glad he didn't get infected by any toxins or rust. He needed to practice when he considered it. Aace nodded towards her as he started to speak.

"Hey. I'm Aace." Aace said while he frowned. "Sorry. I hurt my hand." Aace stated while he frowned to himself.

"Mina," Mina said while she started to think of what to say. "Mina Ashido. Sorry. Didn't mean to surprise you." Mina stated while she looked at his hands.

"Eh. It isn't that bad." Aace said while he grunted in pain. "It's just going to sting for a bit. It's not easy to control metal when I try training." Aace stated while he held his hands up before he cleared his throat.

He glanced at the pink woman who seemed to smile despite all that had been happening. He felt more peaceful around her despite the numbness he felt in his limb. He hummed to himself while he struggled to find his next words. He managed it after a moment.

"Oh. That's your quirk?" Aace heard from the woman as he frowned. "Cool. I was wondering why there was a piece of metal flying into the air." Aace stated while he smiled to himself.

"What's yours?" Aace asked as he tilted his head and smiled at her. "And sorry. I didn't mean to throw it that far. I lost control for a few seconds when it came down to it." Aace stated while he sighed to himself as he felt his pain slowly start to hum.

"Oh. It's hard to mention. I'll show you." Mina said while she turned and flung something from her fingers.

He watched something hit the grass which started to sizzle and fade away while he tilted his head. He blinked as it started to burn away as he turned to her.

"Is that acid?" Aace asked while he crossed his arms. "As in acid that burns things. Huh. Well, that's awesome!" Aace said with a yell at the end.

Mina simply rolled her eyes with a smile. She was honestly happy to find someone who WASN'T terrified of her quirk. It wasn't as if she wanted to turn this power on anyone innocent. She at least could understand why they weren't fully trusting of her, and it still hurt anyway. He was a lot weirder when it came down to it

Aace said nothing for a moment as he collected his thoughts and watched in awe at the acid eating into the plants. It was indeed acid from the fact there was no fire, and the smell didn't at all seem to be smoke.

Still? He was shocked someone had that power. It wasn't often he saw a power able to eat into anything that it touched. Yet? He also hadn't seen many people who had power like his. It was exciting and interesting at the same time in his mind. The possibilities that he thought of were almost endlessly repeated at the end of the day.

"Sorry. I spook you?" Mina asked to which Aace blinked once more and seemed to freeze up once more.

"No. Sorry," Aace stated while he frowned to himself and tapped his fingers together. "Just been tired when it comes to it," Aace said while he frowned to himself and yawned while he started to think of what to do next.

Aace was rather interested in what happened when it came down to it. He was rather interested in the alien girl and what her power was capable of. The talent she had was honestly rather weird when it comes down to it. He cleared his throat before he shook his head and looked at her before he started to lean down to look at the acid.

Aace was rather interested in the burning acid while he picked some of the grass and held it up. He cleared his eyes before he started to hm and sigh and shook his head.

"Huh. That's a lot of control on a quirk." Aace said while he crossed his arms before he shook his head. "There's plenty of cool powers like that. I didn't think that someone was going to be able to do something like that." Aace said before he flicked the piece of grass aside while he smiled.

He gazed at Mina who seemed to be rather unfazed by what he had done. She smiled and tilted her head to the side while she blinked at her friend.

"Sorry. Some people find me weird for doing stuff like that." Aace stated while he frowned to himself as he scratched at the back of his neck with a sigh and felt rather annoyed at this bit of battle.

The more he did so? The less he seemed to notice that Mina didn't seem bothered by this now. He was ready to snap in half before he said another word at the time.

"It's cool. My friends don't think a lot about it... What little I have at the second." Mina said she scratched at the back of her neck as well.

"You don't have many friends?" Aace asked before wincing at how he had said it. "Sorry. You don't have a lot of friends as of now?" Aace stated as he raised his eyebrow.

"People think I'm weird," Mina said to which Aace nodded.

"Well. They think I'm weird as well. I don't think you're weird." Aace stated while he smiled. "It's nice seeing someone cool like you. The pink skin thing? The black eyes thing? It's honestly cool to see. The pink skin wouldn't be because the acid is messing with your skin cells and such, would it?" Aace asked while he tapped his hands on his hips.

"Yeah. What the doctor told me when I was little." Mina said to which she tilted her head to the side. "Why? It's a cool look." Mina stated while she frowned and leaned to the side.

"It is. I'm not saying that it's that hard when it comes down to it." Aace stated to himself as he slowly started to tap on his head. "Sorry. I need to plan something. it's a lot to handle when I think about it. A lot to process at the end of the day." Aace said while he slowly brushed off his shirt and leaned on the wall next to him.

Mina nodded yet she simply smiled all the same. She was plenty ready for what came next. He was always going to end this.

A lot of time was spent on issues that didn't at all understand now. It was rather weird as to how to do this. Today had been a rather interesting day in her mind and it wasn't at all something she wished to end yet. She was far too willing to ask questions. Aace raised an eyebrow at his friend before too long.

"What comes after this?" Aace said while he tilted his head to the side. "It's cool as of this. Mina? Yor cool. I didn't expect for someone to have the ability to fire acid from their fingertips." Aace stated while he cleared his throat and started to ponder to himself while he frowned to himself.

Still? He was ready to go inside. Aace held his hand into the air which made a ball float into the air. Metal pieces started to float around his hand. Mina watched as he started to float the pieces and move them around with a swing of his fingers. He started to tap his hands together.

He was ready to be interested in what she was able to do. He claimed a lot more interest in her when it came down to it. Aace was rather hopeful as he pondered his options. He was rather interested as he frowned to himself.

Still? Mina made him question what to do next. Aace tilted his head as Mina started to swish acid in the palms of her hands. She smiled with a roll of her eyes as she planted her hands together while she tilted her head.

"There are plenty of experiments I'm interested in saying next," Aace stated while he frowned to ponder. "I'm not all of it pondering what to do next," Aace said while he started to rub his hands together and the metal floated in circles around before he tilted his head more.

This was done and dusted as of now. He was always ready to pan his ideas somewhere. Mina smiled at him while he blinked as he dropped all the metal onto the floor. he smiled in return as he did so. The enjoyment was all too ready for he tilted his head.

Aace hummed once more with interest. She was odd if he wasn't lying to himself. She was a lot older than she seemed if he was, to be honest. It seemed so much if she was to be in an odd position at the end of the day. It was a lot weirder to rationalize this sort of thing at the end of the day. A lot odder and a lot harder to understand what she was to be thinking as of now.

Yet, part of him found it to be a lot more interesting now if he was, to be honest. It was fun, she pushed him to try to understand her more and more. It became a lot weirder than he expected and a lot more fun at the time to see how she ticked.

Mina seemed to be a lot more fun than he expected. He followed her for a few seconds as he tapped at his arms while he seemed to appear what to do next. He was a lot happier as to what to do next when it came down to it.

"There's a lot of weird quirks when it comes down to it, huh?" Aace questioned as he started to twirl his fingers around with the disks from before starting to fly around him. "Pretty fun if I'm honest. Always cool to see what I can do now." Aace stated while he cracked his fingers.

The disks seized up before he flicked his hand into the air. The disks whirled into the sky like laser beams. He watched them for only a few seconds only to bring up a single finger which stopped the disks from even coming slightly close to hitting her.

It made him far happy to see that he was growing a lot more trained with this power. He had a lot more on his plate when it came down to it. He had a lot to handle more proper work if he was going to master his quirk when it came down to it. He had a lot more to learn when it came to mastering his quirk. It did honestly surprise him if he was honest.

Still? The lack of problems still didn't assure him that he was good to go. He had a lot more to master despite how much he had learned as of now. He honestly wanted a lot more on his plate when it came down as of now.

Mina tilted her head to the side before she seemed as if she had a lot more interest in what she had done. Mina slapped her fingers together in a way that made him tilt his head.

He had a lot more fun playing with her at the second as of now. The more time he was out here was more time to be devoted to doing what he wanted the second.

"Acid quirks are cool. Just didn't think someone would want to use it for crimefighting." Mina heard as Aace tucked his hands into his pockets and seemed to let out a yawn. "Did you pick out a hero name yet for it? Those are always important when it comes to hero work, always important what someone is going to call you when you're rushing in to save the day… At least until they start shooting at you." Aace stated while he brushed off his jacket.

"Pinky," Mina said before Aace raised an eyebrow. "I'm pink and they won't take Alien Queen seriously," Mina said to which Aace hummed.

"Alien Queen sounds cool if I'm not going to lie. Sounds like some space superhero." Aace said before he rubbed at his chin. "Actually? Space superheroes would be a cool movie. Now I'm curious if there were people from space with quirks." Aace said while he rubbed at his chin and seemed to be honestly assuming whether he was right or not about that.

"Really? My mom said it might make people think of the movie aliens." Mina said to which Aace smiled.

"That movie? Maybe, I'd be surprised if anyone remembers the Xenomorphs if I'm 100% honest. Would be a bit of a stretch to make people think that." Aace said while he rubbed at his chin. "I'm still trying to think of some names for my hero identity when I get one. Would be nice to get a cool one. Don't know what I want to call myself yet." Aace said with a sigh.

"I can help make one!" Mina said as Aace tilted his head to the side and stared at her with interest. "I'm good at that. Plus, would let us hang out more soon. The school will be starting at UA sooner or later, we need to try and apply there. By we, I mean me, unless you're going to apply soon?" Mina questioned to which Aace shrugged.

"Maybe, not easy to get into the school without a big resume. I'd love to go there, but I don't entirely know how long it will take. I want to be there." Aace said while he rubbed at his arms.

"Well, if we do go there, we could both be heroes and help people," Mina stated while her new friend nodded.

"Yeah, would be cool to see what happens if I got in. Anyway? I'd love to chat. My mom is probably going to kill me if I don't get home soon… Or at least up the hill to her house. Pretty weird when it comes down to it at the time." Aace said while he scratched at the back of his neck awkwardly.

Mina nodded as she seemed to be rather interested in only talking to him. It made Aace smile to know that she had been his friend or was becoming one at the time. He and the acid-themed hero seemed to walk side by side as they became interested in what to do next.

"School will be cool if we get paired up. I still have plenty of questions about how to properly use that quirk you have. Would be weird to ask, still. Don't want to be weird." Aace said with another yawn.

Aace looked at Mina. A wide smile spread across her face as she seemed to consider what was coming to pass. He smiled despite the fear in his movements, perhaps a bit done when it came down to it.

She stared at him as Aace drummed his fingers on his legs. He became a lot more interested in something as he leaned against the wall of his house.

"So, what made you decide you want to be a hero?" Mina heard as she blinked and stared at him. "Well? You want to be a hero, yeah? Why? Every hero has a reason that makes them want to be so. Something that drives them a lot more forward than possible." Aace said before he pushed off the wall and crossed his arms across his chest.

"Honestly? For me? It's getting to see the world, looking around, getting to see the sights, culture, and music. All the little things that make it worth fighting for." Aace said while he moved his arms across his chest.

"Honestly? Don't know yet, dude." Mina said as Aace nodded.

"Fair enough. It's a good answer and something to think about if you run loose and time." Aace stated as he shrugged.

"Something to think about, yeah?" Mina said as Aace nodded before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"Yeah, always nice to have something to mess around inside the old brain if you are busy thinking about something," Aace said as he swung his arms back and forth. "Distracts you. Gives you something else to worry about, you know?" Aace said before he sighed and seemed to tap his arms.

"Also? Anything that worries you will slow you down. It becomes hard to think when you're scared and constantly curious." Aace said while he tapped his arms faster and faster. "When you're the most terrified of something? You need to focus on what you can do to stop it. Anytime you don't? you're going to let something get in the way and it's going to be almost impossible to properly fix it." Aace said while he leaned downwards.

The acid-themed heroine seemed to be more concerned with what was going to happen if she failed. It was written across her face as she stared at Aace who seemed to be rather at peace for the moment. He seemed to clear his throat and stare into the sky for a few moments, preparing his words.

"You know, I'm terrified as well, honestly," Aace said while he closed his eyes. "All the pressure to be the best? To protect people? I see how it scares people. I mean, it's not going to stop me, but I don't think you should be scared when it comes down to it. Not if you're committed to it, at least." Aace stated as he sighed to himself.

There was a lot on the line if they failed. It didn't honestly faze most heroes, but he didn't think about it. The sooner it became obvious that they were going to be sent into the fire? The more it became obvious when it came down to it that they'd adapt to it.

He smiled at Mina while he uncrossed his arms. This was fun. They had some interesting topics as it became obvious that they'd bond given enough time and effort. He was still a bit shy around her when it came to conversing with her.

"What are you going to do when you become a hero?" Aace questioned as he tilted his head before Mina raised an eyebrow. "Well? What are you going to do first when it came down to it? There's going to be a lot of hoops to leap through." Aace stated before he clicked his fingers together and the disk flew to his hand.

Aace smiled as he realized that he was going to be able to train and properly joke and become interested. She raised his eyebrow before she questioned what to do next.

"What will happen next?" Aace questioned as he tilted his head.

"What do you want to do happen?" Aace questioned before he raised an eyebrow at her.

"Don't know," Mina said while she seemed to ponder and pace back and forth enough as Aace nodded to her.

He had been nervous, a lot more nervous as of the second. It made him sigh, screaming around before this was done and dusted. Mina was someone who was pushing him to the edge one way or another and this wasn't helping when it came down to it. Honestly? This just made him more terrified, more unsure of what to say or do next at the moment. It had been something that was pushing him into a corner one way or another. This was going to either be interesting or it was going to make him scream.

Aace turned and slowly walked up the door and into the house. He ran a hand across his temples as he pondered what the hell he'd say or do next. This was going to make him scream one way or another. He didn't want it to be now of all days.

He still sighed and screamed to himself before slowly starting to push himself forward.

He closed the door behind him before slowly sliding down and towards the floor. There was a lot more coming.
