Ben 10: Alternate Alien
Chapter 5: A Father's Rage
An hour after breakfast, last chapter.
Ben wanted to spend the whole day with Looma and Lumi once more, before he would need to go to work tomorrow.
So, Ben had taken the two of them to the mall. A great place to explore and shop.
Ben couldn't help the grin on his face as Lumi looked around in awe of the place. The same with Looma. There weren't shopping malls on Kohros. They had only just entered the place, and they were already a bit overwhelmed.
Ben, "Well ladies, where to first?"
Looma saw an FYE, and was intrigued by all of the items held within. She walked in, followed by Ben and Lumi. Kivi was in totem form as they went on this little trip. Looma had gone into the action movie section. Of course.
Lumi was near the toy section, with Kivi guarding her like she was the most valuable diamond in the universe.
Ben was looking around the animated movies section. He was glad they had divided them into groups. Animated films for adults. And animated films for kids.
As the small group continued shopping, they failed to notice a mysterious man in a green hoodie walk by….
….
Next, the group walked into a clothing store. More for the girls than Ben. Looma was looking for more casual clothes to wear, so she wouldn't stick out as much while in public with Ben.
Granted, she was a tall, red skinned, four armed, four armed Amazon warrior, but that's besides the point.
Lumi had just managed to find an outfit that looked like a perfect combination of Ben and Gwen's outfits from when they were kids. Ben's dark green pants, and Gwen's shirt, that had shorter sleeves than the original. She had also found a dark blue hoodie to go with the outfit, that had a twelve on the back.
Unknown to them, the man in the green hoodie was sneaking through the shadows towards the group's next destination.
….
Next, the group had gone into a pet-store. Lumi had wanted to look at all of the cute animals from within.
Lumi was looking at the puppies, which were all staring at her in slight confusion upon seeing a moth alien's face pressed up to the glass with a look of wonder in their eyes.
It was adorable.
Looma was looking at some of the more reptilian pets. She had all of the bags in her arms. They had bought several DVD's of their favorite movies and shows.
Ben was chuckling at his daughter's actions.
She moved on, and caught sight of the rescues the shop had. Lumi instantly fell in love with the first one she saw. A tiny little ash colored kitten. He had a chip on one ear, part of his right paw was missing and one eye was all white, meaning it was blind. To some, the kitten looked like a burden. To Lumi, she thought it looked like the cutest thing ever. It had a collar that read, "Percy."
Ben wrote down the cat's name.
But that's when he caught sight of an old man in a long green coat, looking at the frogs. He had a hood over his head, blocking his features.
But something about this man felt familiar to Ben.
And it wasn't until he saw the man pull out a strange device, with slightly yellow colored hands, did he know who it was!
Ben, "stop right there!"
It was too late! The man had zapped the frog, turning it into a giant three eyed horned frog! The man climbed on top, revealing himself as….
Ben, "Doctor Animo!"
Doctor Animo sat atop the frog, grinning like a madman. He looked much more like how he did when Ben was 10, except for the weird brain thing on his head.
Animo, "yes, Benjamin Tennyson! It is I! Doctor Animo! Here to once again wreak havoc, and-"
An ice block had hit him in the face!
Ben looked to see Lumi carrying several blocks of ice she had made with her powers.
Animo, "how dare that little insect do that!"
The frog shot it's tongue towards Lumi, but in a flash of green light, it was stopped by a large orange tiger alien.
"RATH!"
Animo flinched as Rath stared at him in anger.
Rath, "let me tell you something Doctor Animo! You mess with Rath's daughter again, and I will stuff you inside of the nearest outhouse, and throw it into the sun!"
Looma quickly grabbed Lumi and ran to the other end of the store.
Rath began punching the frog in anger as Animo jumped off.
He quickly looked around for another animal to zap. He saw a parrot.
Perfect.
He zapped it, making the creature grow into a large sharp toothed bird that flew into the air and grabbed Rath, pulling him out of the store yelling, "let me tell you something, stupid bird monster! You better let go of Rath, or I will tip every feather off of you, leaving you as naked as the day you hatched!"
The bird threw Rath into the fountain nearby, getting the alien all wet.
As this happened, Animo looked around for some leverage. He spotted Lumi and Looma.
Perfect.
As Rath dodged attacks from the parrot, he heard, "Tennyson!"
Rath turned to see Animo holding Lumi in his arms with the device pointed at her head. Looma And Kivi had been caught off guard and grabbed by the frog's tongue.
Animo, "listen to me boy. If you do not put your hands on the ground, and let me take my pretties away, I'll test my device on this little bug!"
Lumi, "don't listen to him daddy!"
Rath almost lunged forward, but didn't wanna risk his daughter's safety. So, he knelt down and pressed his hands to the ground.
Animo, "good…."
Lumi couldn't let this happen! And that's when she had an idea! She quickly transformed into human form, and bit Animo on the hand! Making him drop her and scream! His hand had slight frostbite from the bite.
That's when Animo made a mistake.
Animo, "you little bitch!"
He kicked Lumi away several feet, leaving the child to clutch at her stomach in pain. She started crying as tears streamed down her face.
Rath had a look of pure shock. But as soon as Animo took a step towards Lumi, it was replaced with pure unbridled rage!
No-one even saw Ben hit the Ultimatrix as Rath transformed into a wild furred, more feral looking version of himself, "Ultimate Rath!"
Rath lunged right across the room and grabbed Animo. He began punching him in the face as he yelled, "let me tell you something Doctor Animo! No-one hurts my f #king baby girl! If you, or anyone else does this, I will personally gut you like a f #king arctic seal, shove your guts into your mouth, and curb stomp you until no-one can recognize you!"
Looma and Kivi had managed to break out of the frog's hold. As Kivi started punching the frog into unconsciousness, Looma saw the crying alien girl. She grabbed a crying Lumi and yelled, "beloved! Stop!"
U Rath didn't stop. He kept punching and punching until Animos face was covered in bruises and blood.
"You will never touch her as long as Rath is alive!"
"BEN!"
That caught his attention. U Rath regained his senses as he looked down at the whimpering and bloodied Doctor Animo. He gazed at Looma and the crying Lumi. She wasn't crying from the pain anymore. She was crying from fear!
U Rath quickly punched Animo unconscious, and turned back to normal, and then to Ben.
Ben went over to his girls and knelt down.
Ben, "Lumi?"
She didn't look at him at first.
Ben, "Lumi, sweetie? Are you okay?"
She finally looked at her father. Looma let her go so she could hug her father. Lumi cried into Ben's chest as he picked her up.
Ben just held his little girl as he called in the Plumbers.
Ben, "this is Ben Tennyson. We're at the mall on third street. I just took down Animo, we need a team to take him into custody, and help with the damages caused."
Several minutes later, the Plumbers were on the scene.
Ben had scurried off for a moment as Looma held Lumi.
Looma, "are you alright?"
Lumi, "sniff, I'm alright. Daddy just scared me for a minute. We was so…."
Looma, "violent?"
Lumi nodded.
Looma, "he was just afraid you had been hurt. Your father would do anything to protect you Lumi. You realize that, right?"
Lumi nodded.
Looma, "both of us will protect you as long as we live. We love you. I have only known you for a few days, and yet I love you as if you were my own child."
Lumi snuggled into Looma's embrace as she said, "I love you too mama."
Looma had tears if not as she held Lumi.
Ben came towards the two, carrying a small box with holes in it.
Looma quickly wiped her tears and asked, "what do you have beloved?"
Ben knelt down to Lumi, "Lumi, this is a gift, for how scared you got, and when you got hurt. I saw you eyeing this little guy, and knew you had to have him. So, as a way to cheer you up…."
Ben opened the box to show Percy peeking out of it.
Ben, "say hello to Percy."
Lumi gasped but then gave a tear filled smile as she picked the kitten up, and held it to her chest. Kivi nuzzled her leg.
Ben, "I think it's time we walk back home."
Looma, "I agree beloved. I can carry the bags."
Ben, "I'll carry Lumi."
Lumi, "and I'll carry Percy!"
And so, the Tennyson family made their way back home.
….
Later that afternoon
Lumi was sat on the couch, with Percy and Kivi next to her. Her father had told her he needed to talk to her about something very important.
Soon, Ben was kneeling before her, taking her hands in his.
Ben, "Lumi, sweetie, you know I love you, right?"
Lumi nodded.
Ben, "ever since I found you, I've only ever wanted to keep you safe. Prepare you for a lot of terrible things that may happen in the future. And that's why, after seeing you get hurt today…. I've decided to give you access to the first eleven aliens of your Omnitrix."
Lumi gasped.
Ben, "but remember this, the Omnitrix isn't a toy. I used it as one, and I caused problems. When you use this watch, it should be for self defense, and helping to save the day. I trust you Lumi. And I wanna make sure that trust isn't misplaced. It may be earlier than I wanted it, but being my daughter, you'll need it. Do you understand?"
Lumi, "yes daddy."
Ben, "good. Now, Omnitrix, code: ten-eleven-zero-zero-three-three-one-eight-seven."
The watch beeped before saying, "code acknowledged. Access to the first eleven aliens has been granted."
Ben pulled a small SD card from his pocket.
Ben, "Azmuth made this. A small AI program to help train your skills with the watch. Okay?"
Lumi, "yes daddy."
Ben inserted the card, making the watch beep for a second.
"Greetings, state your name user?"
Lumi, "Lumi Tennyson."
"Name acknowledged. Hello Lumi Tennyson. I am D-Ez. Your artificial intelligence too help guide you."
Ben thought, 'oh, I get it. It's a play on words for ten in Spanish.'
"I will select twelve random aliens to start you off with, Lumi Tennyson."
Lumi, "you can just call me Lumi."
"Understood, Lumi."
Ben, "don't transform into anything yet I want you to come with me tomorrow so we can test your powers on the mission. How's that sound?"
Lumi's wings fluttered.
Ben, "I'll take that as a yes."
Ben gave Lumi a hug, "I love you sweetie."
Lumi, "I love you too daddy."
The two of them suddenly felt themselves lifted into the air by Looma, who hugged the two of them as tightly as she could without breaking their spines.
Looma, "who wants a delicious Tetramand dish for tonight?"
Ben, "it won't squirm around, right?"
Looma, "relax beloved. Not every alien dish moves around in your stomach. It'll be like a steak dinner with baked produce like your Earth's potatoes.
Lumi, "yummy!"
Ben, "I agree with Lumi. That sounds pretty good."
Looma, "then I shall get to work! You two relax and enjoy yourselves!"
Looma ran off to the kitchen, leaving Ben and his daughter to hold one another on the couch for a few more minutes.
Ben would never tire of moments like these.
….
We see Dr. Psychobos walking through his lab, looking over some research notes. He was currently in front of his most recent project, which would take another year to finish.
It was a large tube, filled with a green liquid.
And sitting in the liquid was a creepy sight.
A human baby, with an Omnitrix being grown into their hand.
The baby only twitched as it slowly grew. It had dark brown hair, and slightly darker skin.
On the computer monitor sitting at the bottom of the tube, read:
Project: KN-10.
Subject: stable.
Duotrix: stable.
Psychobos, "good. The subject is stable. And the matrix is developing nicely as well. It's amazing how the growth acceleration works. In less than a year, he'll have the appearance of a five year old! Amazing! Soon, my creation, you will meet your…. Father…."

williamescobar608: I had to translate this, since I don't speak Spanish that well. 1: Yeah, that's funny. 2: Due to the mix of DNA from Ben's Omnitrix, Lumi is the only Nechrofriggian with a gender. 3: Yes we do. 4: Ben's still new to parenting, so he'll slip up at times. 5: Lumi is meant to be adorable. 6: No, the vice of smoothies never lets go. 7: I may do lemons in the future, when Ben and Looma are a much more intimate couple. And 8. There's no Supreme, Ultra or whatever forms for the aliens. Only Ultimates.
Amanny: well, it mostly depends on what wins the poll. I know the ones I personally want to be there are Krakken, FourArms, Lioness, Upgrade and XLR8.

We got to see Ben's fatherly instincts brought out in full on rage mode. And, Lumi finally has full control over her Omnitrix. She may be very young, but I made sure to give Ben a good reason for giving Lumi such power at such a young age.
And I decided to give Lumi another pet. Percy and Kivi. And I decided to give her twelve aliens, including her natural form. So, each choice on the poll now has eleven aliens. Once the next chapter is up, we shall see her first transformation with the Omnitrix.
Whatever gets second place in the poll will play a hand in the future of the story.
Also, if anyone can guess what Psychobos is doing, I will send a private message on if they were right or not.
