A very confused Tails awkwardly waved "Uh, hi. Have-Have we met?". Eclipse looked slightly different; the right side of his face looked burned. He looked around the sky in a calculating way. Tails could only see emotion in his left eye, but he could tell something was troubling Eclipse. He finally looked back to Tails "I presume this is the Temple's doing" "Uh, I don't know what you're talking about. What-What temple?" "Where is Amy Rose?" Eclipse said impatiently. Tails had to have heard that wrong "Uh, at her house I think. I'm sorry. Don't- Don't you want Shadow?". Tails could immediately tell that was the wrong thing to say. Eclipse took out a small silver and black object. He pressed a button, and a red glowing blade came out "Oh, Gaia". He leaped forward and almost cut Tails in half, but he jumped out of the way. Tails was surprised by how fast Eclipse was. He had to fly back to keep his distance. Eclipse watched him curiously before extending out his hand towards a car. There was a pause, Eclipse's hand shook. The car started shaking before finally hovering above the ground. Eclipse waved his hand towards Tails and the car was suddenly thrown in his direction. He saw people inside and grabbed the front of the car as it fell. He fired a magnet with a metal cable at the highway and then the other end to the car stopping it. He tore the door off and helped the family out. He dropped them on the lower road "It's okay. You're-".
An invisible force seemed to freeze Tails in place, and he hovered back up to the highway. Until he was face to face with Eclipse "The Temple's power won't save you". He throws him against Teri's car pushing it to the edge. Tails could tell that whatever was holding him was weak. He activated the Warrior Feather and he spun around quickly breaking himself free. He fired an energy blast at Eclipse pushing him back. Eclipse quickly used his power to smash two cars, but Tails quickly flew up dodging them. Eclipse leaped up onto the street sign to get level with Tails and the two continued to fight. The news helicopter got close to try and record it when "Miles, help!" Teri yelled as her car started going over the edge. Tails jumped off to get to her. Eclipse grabbed multiple cars and threw them at Tails. He got low to avoid the cars, but Eclipse charged and tried to slash him. Tails got closer to the car "Don't worry, ma'am! I'm coming!". A car finally hit him, but he immediately got back up and kept flying. The car went over, Tails fired his magnet and desperately held the car back. He connected the magnet to the highway and flew down to the car "Ma'am, just stay calm". Eclipse cut through the highway floor, fell onto Tails and made him crash into the ground. He pinned Tails against a column by the throat and held his hand in front of his chest. Tails felt great pain before the Rhythm Badge phased out of his body and into Eclipse. He stumbled back before quickly getting used to the power "Impressive". He held his hand in front of Tails' face and closed his eyes "Where am I?". Tails felt his mind being invaded, he tried to fight it but suddenly Eclipse stopped and stared at him curiously "You're not Miles Prower". Tails shook his head "I am so confused right now". He then heard a voice in his earpieces "Non-authorised user. Do you wish to activate fail safe?". Tails slowly smirked even though Eclipse activated his sword. But just as he was about to decapitate Tails he froze.
Eclipse calmly looked at his arms showing no sign of fear. Tails made Eclipse release him and then use his powers to lift Rita's car back safely to the top of the highway. Tails laughed and smugly lifted Eclipse by the arms "Don't worry, buddy. I'll give you a lift". He put Eclipse down on the road and then ran over to open Rita's door. She got out shaking "Ma'am, are you okay. Come on, you can still make your flight". She stared at him "Miles… You're a hero" "What… No, I mean… I'm…" "I'm gonna talk to Admissions about your friends. And I'm gonna talk to them about you". Tails didn't understand "But, ma'am, this isn't about me" "I am going to talk to them about your friends and you. Okay". Tails couldn't help but grin "Really?" "And if you keep your noses clean, maybe you'll have a fair shot". She then shot Eclipse a look "Hey. You. I see you. Come here!". She walks past him "That was not okay. Unbelievable" she left. Tails approached Eclipse "Alright, what's going on?". The moment he got close Eclipse tried to cut off his head again, but he again froze when he got close. Tails stepped back "Hey. Hey, hey, hey. Until you stop trying to kill me, I'm in control, buddy. Of this whole Chao in Space situation, you got going on here, okay? Now, who are you? What is going on?". Tails started to get the sense again coming from the other end of the highway. Two cars suddenly blew up and through the smoke appeared much to Tails' confusion Scourge the Hedgehog on what looked to be an Extreme Gear Board. "Scourge?" Tails said, Eclipse said nothing, but he was watching Scourge just as intently. Scourge was watching Tails before he ignited his own red glowing sword, this time double bladed and sped towards them. Tails got ready to take him on when suddenly a portal swept across him and Eclipse.
They were in a dark stone room. Tails cautiously looked around "Uh, Doctor Kh-". There was a yell and a banging sound behind him. He jumped and turned to see a golden hedgehog growling and trying to break through an invisible wall. Tails staggered back and then saw that Eclipse was in a similar cell, but he was instead studying the wall. Tails felt a hand touch his shoulder and he screamed but realised it was just Khan "You okay?" "Okay, what is going on?". Khan looked exhausted "That little spell we botched. You wanted to everyone to forget Miles Prower is the Prowl but instead it's pulling in everyone who knows Miles Prower, Prowl or otherwise. From every universe into this one" "Other universes". Eclipse tried to use his power to break the wall but it did nothing "Interesting". He looked to Khan "What is this power?". Khan ignored him "I think it's better we don't engage with them because, frankly, the multiverse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little". Tails' eyes widened "The multiverse is real?" "This shouldn't even be possible". Tails looked to the golden hedgehog "But I thought you stopped the spell" "No, I contained it. It would appear a few of them squeaked through the cracks. After you left here, I detected an otherworldly presence. I pursued it into the sewers, where I found that hedgehog seconds away from becoming a full statue" "And they're here because of me?". Khan rolled his eyes and turned to Eclipse "Do you know a Miles Prower?" "Yes" "See". Tails looked to Eclipse, now in a quieter room Tails could tell there was something off with his breathing. It sounded weak and machine like.
Khan snapped him out of it "I don't know how many visitors we've got-" "I saw another one on the bridge. He was Scourge, like Razor's brother, Scourge". Eclipse slightly tilted his head at that. Tails continued "But he had like this weird… sunblade" "Well he sounds jolly. Start with him". He took Tails' arm cannon bracelet "I need you to capture them, bring them here while I figure out how to get them back before they destroy the fabric of reality, or worse, Merlin finds out". He clenched his stomach, the gold hedgehog seemed to injure him in the capture. He performs a spell on the bracelet "What did you just do?" "I gave you're cannon two new settings". The cannon turned green "This will incorporate magical beings into our world" "What?" "Other universes have their own magic systems. When they arrive here, they're going to be unstable. This will stabilize them. That's how I saved that one" he looked to Goldy. Tails nodded "Okay, what's the other one". The cannon turned orange and Khan shot him. Tails disappeared and reappeared in another cell. Eclipse was still patiently watching the two of them. Khan went over to a table with an arrow. He turns it to Tails' cell and he pushed the arrow down opening it. Khan threw Tails the cannon "One shot, send them here, move on. You're welcome. Get to work". He was going to leave but "Uh, sir?" "Now what?" "I know this is my mess and I swear that I'll fix it, but I'm gonna need some help".
