Ben 10: Alternate Alien
Chapter 10: Ken 10
It was four months later.
And this would be a very important point in our story.
It was in the middle of July, and Ben couldn't be happier.
He was currently having lunch at Mr. Smoothies with Looma, Lumi, Rayona and Young One.
Rook was on a mission with Helen, looking at some form of distress call.
Looma was starting to show a slight baby bump now.
Yes, Looma was pregnant. And if you thought human pregnancies were crazy, you haven't seen anything yet.
Looma was like that, but five times as bad when it came to mood swings, food cravings, and Lord knows what would happen whenever she became aroused. She would chase Ben down all the way across town just to get some love from her husband. One minute she would be smashing a tree into a car, the next she would be clinging to Ben on the couch. And have you ever seen someone eat a hot fudge sundae with pickles, mustard, chicken tenders and whipped cream? If you're not disgusted by that visual, I applaud you.
But despite it all, Ben was excited. He would get to be there for this child from day one. And they were gonna wait until the baby was born to learn it's gender.
As Ben was about to finish his chilli fries, he suddenly got a call from Plumber HQ.
Ben, "ugh, can't I ever catch a break?"
Looma, "it appears not Ben."
Ben answered, "yello?"
"Ben? It's Max. We've got a big situation."
Ben, "what could possibly be a big situation?"
Ben look a sip of his peppermint and orange smoothie.
"Helen and Rook have been captured."
Ben managed to spit-take into a nearby trash bin.
Ben immediately answered, "I'm on my way."
"Hurry."
Ben turned to Looma, "I'm sorry honey, I've gotta go."
Looma, "of course Ben. Find out what's wrong."
Ben jumped up, "Lumi, come on."
Lumi hugged Young One goodbye and ran after her father.
Ben transformed into, "FasTtrack!"
He looked different though. He looked a little more furry, sharp claws, sharper teeth, and a tail. It turns out that the DNA sample had been taken from a weaker form of the alien, and thus, Ben got a stronger version of the alien.
Lumi turned into her version of Jetray, "Aero!"
She looked like Swift, but with blue hair.
The two of them raced off towards Plumber HQ, and in roughly two minutes, they were there.
Ben and Lumi soon found Max with Attea at the computer.
Ben, "what's the situation?"
Max, "remember that distress signal Rook and Helen were investigating?"
Ben, "yeah?"
Max, "it was a trap. Helen and Rook have been taken hostage. And their kidnappers have sent a video to us."
Ben, "who is it?"
Attea, "you ain't gonna like this."
The screen changed, and showed a sight that made Ben's stomach clench.
On screen was Albedo and Psychobos.
Albedo, "greetings, inferior welps. I, the Great Albedo, and my ally, the great Dr. Psychobos, have taken your two Plumbers captive. If you want them back, unharmed, you will listen to our demands."
Psychobos, "Ben Tennyson, his filthy spawn, and Empress Attea, since the blue one is her lover. We have plans for Tennyson and the Nechrofriggian child, but the Empress may take the hostages back to their HQ. We have sent the coordinates. We suggest you hurry."
Albedo, "indeed, or your agents may come to harm…."
The transmission ended, and Ben, Lumi and Attea all had grim looks.
Ben, "prep the ship. We're headed to save our friends."
Ben walked off with Lumi and Attea towards the ship. Max wished them luck as they left. Soon, the ship had left Earth's atmosphere, and was headed towards the coordinates they had been given.
As they say in the ship, Attea said, "you know this is a trap."
Ben, "of course it is."
Attea, "glad we're on the same page."
Ben, "let's just be ready for anything. Lumi, have your Omnitrix ready."
Lumi, "right daddy."
The team sat in a comfortable silence as they inched closer to their destination.
And soon they saw it.
A large, decrepit space station, with heavy cloaking technology.
Ben, "figures Albedo and Psychobos would be hiding in such a dark and disrepaired place."
Attea had just pulled out two guns, "regardless, let's give these jerks a piece of our minds."
The docking bay was open, ready for them. Soon, the ship had landed, and its three passengers came out. Attea had her guns ready, and the Tennyson's had their watches prepped.
As they crept through the dark hangar, they heard Albedo over speakers in the station, "welcome, our dear guests. Now, are you ready to see what you've been called here for?"
Attea, "just give us Rook and Helen you dork-munching wimp!"
Albedo, "ah, clever word play as always."
The three then saw a platform descend to the ground before them.
Albedo And Psychobos were there with the unconscious forms of Helen and Rook. Behind them was a large object covered by a tarp.
Ben, "let them go. Now!"
Albedo, "aw, what's wrong Tennyson? No witty comeback? I expected more from you..."
Ben, "I'm not messing around. Let. Them. Go. Now!"
Psychobos, "ah, not yet, Dear Benjamin. First, you will witness our newest creation. It has taken a year to finish, after all!"
Ben, "first, let Attea grab our friends. Then I'll play whatever twisted game you have."
Psychobos, "very well."
Albedo snapped his fingers, allowing Attea to run forward and grab their friends. She started draging them over to the ship, and whispered to Ben, "make them pay Ben."
Ben, "wouldn't have it any other way."
Now, as Attea and the others were on the ship, Ben and his daughter glared at their enemies.
Albedo, "and now, we reveal our creation."
As Psychobos pulled away the tarp, Albedo announced, "I give you, KN-10!"
Ben and Lumi's eyes widened at the sight.
Inside of the tube was what looked like a perfect five year old clone of Ben, but with slightly darker skin and hair. It wore a pair of black and green shorts. On his wrist was a Matrix with a now yellow glow to it.
Ben, "w-what the Hell is going on?!"
Psychobos, "we see glad you've asked. You see, over the course of many months, we have been using your DNA to create KN-10. A perfect clone of you. And on top of that, we were able to create a Matrix that is attached to him. We call it; the DuoTrix."
Lumi, "Do-wha?"
Albedo, "DuoTrix. It combines the DNA of two different aliens. And as long as we have this", Albedo had a remote control, keyed to the watch. If it were destroyed, KN-10 would have the free will and intelligence of a normal child, "this thing is our ultimate weapon. Now…."
Albedo pressed a button, slowly draining the water from the tank, and forcing the clone to awaken and stand up. It's eyes were still closed as Albedo pressed another button and yelled, "kill them."
The clones suddenly opened, glowing all yellow.
It quickly activated it's watch, and transformed into a sight that made Ben and Lumi freeze.
It looked like CannonBolt, but with a shell made of Taynadite.
In an emotionless voice, it said, "DiamondBolt."
It quickly balled up and began racing towards our heroes. Both quickly transformed.
Ben turned into, "StinkFly!"
The bug-like alien flew to the air to dodge KN.
Lumi had transformed into her version of WildVine, which looked curvier, has a light green skin tone, and had small flowers on her arms, "Lily!" She used her arms to grab the rafters and pull herself upwards to dodge KN.
SF, "Lumi, get that remote, while I distract this thing!"
Lily, "right."
Lily began climbing the rafters as SF spat some goo on the ground, stopping KN.
But soon, it transformed again, into what looked like a decaying version of StinkFly, "GhostFly."
GhostFly began spitting more acidic goop at SF. They quickly turned into, "LodeStar!" As LS crashed to the ground, he began bending metal around GhostFly, trapping it. But before he could blink, they transformed into what looked like Big Chill, but with the skin and flames of HeatBlast!
It said, "HeatChill", as it melted the metal around it and began shooting flames from its mouth!
Ben acted quickly, transforming into, "HeatBlast", before activating the Ultimate Function.
"Ultimate Heatast", was more muscular, and was made out of freezing blue flames, and skin that looked more like dark blue glass then red rocks. He began shooting a huge burst of freezing flames as the fire, as the two became locked in a battle of flames.
As this happened, Lily had snuck above Albedo and Psychobos. She quickly turned into Mainframe, but kept silent as she slowly merged with a large metal beam, and slowly went down towards them, getting closer to two large robotic arms that held the pod.
As this happened, Ben and KN's stalemate ended as Ben quickly transformed into, "RipJaws", but then quickly turned into, "Ultimate Ripjaws", who was a very large and muscular fish creature with light blue skin, deep sunken in eyes, sharper claws, two rows of sharp teeth, and legs almost like XLR8's. U RipJaws was built more for physical fighting on land and sea, rather than the quick and agile combat RipJaws was known for. As he dashed towards KN, it transformed into Rath, but with four arms and eyes, "FourRath!"
The two became locked once again, as their arms grappled one another. URJ had large muscular arms, but FR had four strong arms to hold his opponent.
KN Still spoke emotionlessly as it said, "let me tell you something Benjamin Kirby Tennyson. KN-10 will destroy you."
Albedo was starting to chuckle, as success seemed so close!
But that's when Lumi reached the arms.
The arms quickly grabbed both villains by the back of their necks.
Psychobos, "what the Hell?!"
Albedo, "unhand us you freak of nature!"
MainFrame, "not gonna happen!"
Psychobos was flung away, hitting a large crate that knocked him out, while MainFrame grabbed the remote from Albedo.
Albedo, "give that back you little brat!"
As MainFrame left the machines, still holding Albedo and the remote, she transformed into, "Volcana."
She was a curvier version of HeatBlast. She turned into Volcana, since her heat would warn Albedo not to try anything.
Volcana, "time to end this."
As Lumi was about to crush the remote, Ben had turned into SwampFire, and was holding back a huge slime version of Humongousaur, called Humongoopsaur. As the slimy dino alien was about to smash SwampFire, Lumi had crushed the remote!
Albedo, "no!"
KN suddenly transformed back into the little boy form it had, and collapsed to the floor. SwampFire turned back into Ben, and quickly ran to the boys side, lifting the small child into his arms.
As this happened, Lumi had just transformed into Lily, and tied up Albedo and the still knocked out Psychobos before transforming back to normal. She walked over to her father.
Albedo was fuming, "you fools! Do you know what you've done! All of that work we put into that thing. Now it's just a child with a powerful device on its wrist! It is no longer a machine for us to take over!"
Ben, "he's a child! He was never a machine. The way he came into this world doesn't matter!"
Ben looked down at KN. He felt something. The same feeling he had when he found Lumi, or when he learned Looma was pregnant.
An urge to protect, love and care for a child.
The boy may have been a clone, but to Ben, he was like his son.
Albedo, "all that thing will remember is that it was a clone. Nothing else. It has the intelligence of a five year old. It's nothing!"
Ben smacked the Galvan hard enough to knock him out.
Ben and Lumi were looking at KN.
Lumi, "what's gonna happen to him daddy?"
Ben, "... he's got my DNA. He's not a clone to me. He's…. A son."
Lumi, "so, he's like my brother?"
Ben, "in a way, yes."
Lumi, "what do we call him?"
Ben looked at the child, and said the perfect name.
Ben, "Ken. Ken Tennyson. Or Kenny, since it seems to fit him."
Lumi, "I like that name."
And with that, Ben carried the child inside as Lumi turned into, "RedWind", and grabbed their two new prisoners.
As Ben went inside the ship, Rook and Helen were awake, and along with Attea, were looking at Ben as he carried the boy.
Rook, "a child?"
Ben, "made from my DNA. Attea, contact the Plumbers, tell them we've saved Rook and Helen, and to send a team to blow this station sky high. And that we have Albedo and Psychobos in custody."
Attea, "you got it."
Helen, "what're you gonna do with the kid?"
Ben, "he has my DNA. He's my responsibility. I'm gonna take care of him, just like Lumi."
Rook, "well done Ben. You are doing the right thing."
Ben, "thanks Rook."
RedWind tossed the prisoners into the secured cell before transforming back and meeting with the others. Rook piloted the ship out of the hangar and away from the station.
Ben was in the ship's med-bay, looking over the sleeping child.
It was fifteen minutes before he woke up.
Ken, "ngh, huh?"
Ben helped Ken sit up, "easy, I got you."
Ken, "w-where am I?"
Ben, "you're on our ship. We're headed to Earth."
Ken, "w-who are you?"
Ben, "I'm Ben Tennyson. I'm your dad."
Ken, "d-dad?"
Ben, "yeah."
That's when Lumi entered the room.
Lumi, "is he okay?"
Ben, "yes sweetie. He's fine."
Ken, "w-who are they?"
Ben, "this is your sister, Lumi."
Ken, "my…. Sister's a moth?"
Lumi, "Nechrofriggian. That's my species."
Ken, "oh, sorry."
Ben looked at his…. Son.
Ben, "are you alright? Do you remember anything?"
Ken, "I…. I remember a lab. I…. Was cloned. A fight. And then, nothing."
Ben, "that's how we found you. You were a clone made from my DNA, but we freed you from your control."
Ken, "so, I'm you?"
Ben, "no. It doesn't matter how you were born. You're my son. And I'll protect you no matter what."
Ken, "w-what's my name?"
Ben, "Kenny. Kenny Tennyson. Is that alright with you?"
Kenny nodded before he hugged his father.
Ken started to tear up as he held his father tightly. Father and son embraced, with sister/daughter joining in.
Only one person was left to meet the newest member of the Tennyson family….
….
The crew had made it to HQ safely.
Ben had explained everything to Max, and even to his parents who were there for a visit. It had been a little weird, but they had embraced Ken like he was always one of the family.
And now, Ben was holding his son and daughters hands as they stood at the front door of their house.
Ben, "you ready to meet your mom, Ken?"
Ken, "I guess. What's she like?"
Ben, "funny, beautiful, feisty, and understanding. You'll love her."
And so, Ben knocked on the door.
Looma opened it.
Looma, "Ben! Lumi! Thank goodness you are alright!"
As Looma hugged the two, she noticed the young boy with them.
Looma, "Ben, who is this child?"
Ben, "Looma, this is Ken. He's, well, my son."
Looma was silent for a moment before she said, "but, wasn't I your first?"
Ben, "yes. But, Kenny, my nickname for him, was a clone of me made by Albedo and Psychobos. I call him my son, because that's what I feel he is. I just wanted to introduce him to you."
Looma nodded and knelt down to Kenny.
Looma, "Kenneth, I am Looma. Ben's wife. So, I guess I am sort of like your step-mom, or just mom if you prefer?"
Kenny took a step, and suddenly hugged Looma.
She was surprised at first, but soon began hugging back as Ben and Lumi joined in.
Their family had just gotten a little bit bigger.
And it was only gonna grow larger in a few months….

Those would've been my thoughts.
I wanted to give them new names. I thought BlitzWolfer sounded stupid, and thought Snare-Oh maybe should've had a fancier name. I just want people to suggest new names for them.

Notice that Looma starts calling Ben by his name more, since they're married now.
Also, since this was the 10th chapter, I wanted it to be a big one.
Again, sorry it's been taking longer for chapters to appear. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, as well as the newest addition to the Tennyson family. The next chaoter will be another time skip. Lumi's fifth birthday, as well as a new couple becoming official.
And finally, if anyone can think of who Hope should end up with, give your ideas. I've thought of maybe a new OC, it her her ending up in a 3-way relationship with one of the couples. In not so sure about that last one, but nevertheless, it's one if my ideas. Again, if you have any ideas for her, let me know. I don't wanna leave my Hope lovers hanging.
