Ben 10: Alternate Alien

Chapter 12: Devin Levin

Two months later.

During this time, Kevin and Gwendolyn had gotten married. Ben had been the best man, while Hope had been the maid of honor.

The Wedding had been pretty much the same as Ben and Looma's.

We are now right smack dab in the middle of October.

A week until Halloween.

And it was around 9 o'clock at night when Ben received a very important call.

He was currently laying in bed with Looma when his phone started blaring.

He quickly answered it and said, "Tennyson household, this is Ben speaking."

On the other end was Kevin, "Ben! It's Kevin! I need you to meet me at the hospital!"

Ben, "woah, Kev, what's wrong?"

Kevin, "Gwendolyn's gone into labor!"

Ben almost fainted when he heard that.

Ben, "I'll be there as soon as I can!"

Kevin, "okay. Hurry!"

They both hung up as Ben ran to put on his jacket and jeans.

Looma sat up, "what's going on Ben?"

Ben, "Gwendolyn's having her baby. I gotta get there fast."

Looma, "I'll get the kids, you start the car!"

Ben, "thanks babe!"

Ben had just gotten his jeans on as he ran through the house. He quickly knocked on the kids doors. They had made an extra room for Kenny after they had taken him in.

Ben yelled, "Aunt Gwendolyn is having her baby!"

He could hear a commotion in both rooms as he ran and grabbed his keys and wallet. Ben never left without them.

Ben had bolted out to the car and gotten it started up.

Soon, Looma had waddled to the car in her purple sweatpants and black sweatshirt. Lumi and Kenny were right behind them. Kenny in an outfit identical to his dad's, and Lumi in her new outfit she loved to wear. A light blue shirt, a dark blue hoodie with a green 10 on the back, like her dad's clothes, and pants identical to her father's. Kivi was following right behind her. Soon, the family was in the car, and driving as fast as the speed limit would allow them to.

Soon, Ben and his family were at the hospital, and found Kevin pacing the room with Hope nearby.

Ben, "hey Kevin."

Kevin, "oh good, you guys made it."

Looma, "we made it here as soon as we could. How's Gwendolyn."

Hope answered, "she's already gone into labor. It's been about two hours. We went ahead and called the rest of the family."

Kevin, "we called Max, you and Gwendolyn's parents, Lucy, and some of our friends."

Ben, "like who?"

Hope, "well, Rook said he'd be heading over with Shar and Euince. Ester and Alan can't come, but send their wishes."

Kevin, "same with Manny and Swift. Helen and Attea are heading here. Cooper is actually heading here too."

Ben, "wow, I can't remember the last time I've seen Cooper."

Looma, "who?"

Ben, "he's an old friend from me and the team's days against the DNAliens. Me and Gwendolyn met him when we were kids."

Kevin, "he definitely bulked up when we saw him during the invasion."

Hope, "I don't think I've ever met this Cooper guy. Is he cute?"

At the exact same time she said this, the group saw someone approach from behind.

It was Cooper. He was wearing a purple hoodie and gray sweatpants. His figure was the same as when he had his growth spurt. Except, his stomach was slightly bigger, not very noticeable.

Ben chuckled.

Hope, "what? What's so funny? I just asked if he was cute?"

That's when Helen and Attea entered the room. Helen saw Cooper and said, "oh, hey Cooper!"

Hope started blushing as she turned around to see Cooler there.

Cooper held his hand out and said, "hi, I'm Cooper."

Hope slowly took his hand as she said, "H-Hope."

Cooper, "a beautiful name. Gwendolyn had told me about you in her calls. I gotta say, you look more cute than I thought you would."

Kevin whispered, "when did Cooper get so smooth with the ladies?"

Ben, "I have no idea."

Time passed by as Max, Lucy, Rook, Shar, Young One, Euince, Ben and Gwendolyn's parents arrived.

It was another hour as everyone was sitting around, with Hope getting to know Cooper, a nurse soon arrived.

The nurse, "Kevin Levin?"

Kevin stood up, "yes?"

The nurse, "your wife is fine. You may see her and the baby now."

Kevin quickly made his way to the room Gwendolyn was in. Ben had been allowed to follow with the kids. The rest of the family would visit after.

Gwendolyn was in bed, holding a small bundle of blankets. Her short hair looked disheveled.

Kevin went to her side, with Ben and the kids right behind him.

They got to see what was within the little bundle of blankets.

Inside was a baby boy with short black hair and green eyes, looking up at the people around him.

Kevin, "oh, babe, he's beautiful!"

Gwendolyn, "three hours of labor. And it was worth it."

Ben, "he looks just like Kevin."

Lumi, "what's his name?"

Gwendolyn, "Devin. Devin Levin."

Ben, "good name cuz. Good name."

Kevin, "you think he'll have powers like you or me?"

Gwendolyn, "if he does, we'll help him deal with it the best we can."

Kevin and Gwendolyn both gave Devin a kiss on the head.

It made Ben smile. For two reasons. One, he was happy for his cousin and best friend. And two, he knew that in January, he and Looma would be in the same position.

Soon, the rest of the family were allowed to visit the Levin family.

It went in for another glad an hour before the mom and son needed their rest. And so, everyone started making their way home, and saying goodbye to each other.

Some of them chuckled when Hope accepted an invitation to go with Cooper for some coffee.

Later, we find Ben back at home. Lumi and Kenny were in their beds. As was Ben and Looma. Ben was staring at his wife with pure love in his eyes as Looma was rubbing her stomach.

Ben, "you're ready to have this baby, aren't you?"

Looma, "very much Ben. Just keeping the secret if what's growing in here from you is driving me nuts."

Ben, "I wanna be surprised. I'm not gonna know if it's a not it a girl or a boy until the due date comes."

Looma, "does it matter?"

Ben, "my only hope is that it's a healthy bundle of joy. I mean, aren't hybrids rare?"

Looma, "yes. Tetramands are able to mate with certain species, like humans, but not many. I have no idea what they'll look like. If they'll look more human, or more Tetramand."

Ben held Looma's hands, all four, as he said, "it doesn't matter Looma. Our kid could look like UpChuck with huge arms, and I would love them the same as I love Lumi and Kenny."

Looma, "you promise?"

Ben, "on my love of Sumo Spammers, smoothies, chilli fries, and you. In the opposite order."

Looma smiled as she embraced her husband. Soon, the couple let sleep take them far into the night.

….

Meanwhile, at Plumber HQ, Swift and Manny were on the night shift with Driba and Blukic.

They were monitoring the security systems.

They were all eating take out from Mr. Smoothies. This seemed to be the favorite food of every person in this story?

Manny, "God, I'm tired."

Swift, "not as tired as Gwen, I'm sure."

Manny, "fair point."

That's when Driba saw something unusual.

Driba, "um, guys?"

Manny, "what?"

Blukic, "does former-Emperor Milleous need a new pillow?"

Driba, "no."

Manny, "is Albedo planning his escape?"

Driba, "yes, but he's always doing that."

Swift, "then what's the issue?"

Driba, "um, you guys remember the station Vilgax was put on?"

Blukic was sipping his smoothie as he asked, "what about it?"

Driba, "it's still functioning-"

Blukic, "then what's the problem?"

Driba, "there's no-one on the station."

Blukic instantly spit his smoothie into Manny's face!

Swift, "I'll grab a towel!"

As Swift ran off, Manny yelled, "what do you mean, no-one's on the station?"

Driba, "somehow, Vilgax has gotten off of the station. There are traces of ectoplasm on the station."

Manny, "so an ectronight broke him out?"

Driba, "most likely."

Blukic, "we better tell Maggistor Tennyson as soon as we can."

Swift had just handed Manny the towel as she said, "let's wait until morning. We don't wanna ruin his visit with Gwendolyn in the hospital."

Manny, "agreed. I'd get my ass kicked by Rath again."

….

In a tattered circus tent, we see Zombozo sitting on a battered stool.

He looked more like how he did years ago, but with a slightly saggier look.

Acid Breath and Thumb Skull had been arrested by the Plumbers months ago, and Zombozo wasn't able to rescue them.

At the same time, FrightWig had left the circus crew to join the Plumbers. She found working for the circus crew weighing on her. Guilt, and physical injuries. So she had turned herself over to the Plumbers, and after being discharged, joined the academy. Her skills definitely came in handy.

And so, Zombozo was trying to think of what to do. He needed a replacement for his old crew member.

As his thoughts drifted, he heard a certain voice.

"Zombozo?"

The clown turned, and his blood ran cold at the sight of the ghost that had scared him many years ago.

Zombozo, "Tennyson?!"

Zs'skyar, "wrong. I am merely the same species as the one he used against you."

Zombozo, "well…. Why are you here?"

Zs'skyar, "we have plans that need your help."

Zombozo, "we?"

Out of the shadows came Vilgax!

Zombozo, "Vilgax?! What the Hell do you two want with me!?"

Vilgax, "we share a common goal. To destroy Ben Tennyson!"

Zombozo, "yeah, but if you haven't noticed, Tennyson always gets the upper hand."

Zs'skyar, "yes, he does. But it's always against ONE of us."

Vilgax, "if we had more than one of us against him at the same time?"

Zombozo, "... we'd have a chance!"

Zs'skyar, "an attempt like this was made long ago. But Tennyson's current enemies are more powerful than his old ones."

Zombozo, "well, who else do you have in mind for this little team of yours?"

Vilgax, "the ones known as Albedo, Psychobos, Malware, Servantis, Volcanis, Animo, and Kyber."

Zombozo, "what are we, some kind of Negative Ten?"

Zs'skyar, "no. We have more. We will also ask for the aid of the ones called DarkStar, Captain Nemesis, and your two minions, Acid Breath and Thumb Skull."

Vilgax, "with our forces combined, Tennyson will never stand a chance."

Zombozo, "yeah, but if you haven't noticed, but pretty much every person you mentioned has been captured within Plumber HQ, or the Null Void! Only Volcanis, DarkStar and Malware are on the loose. How would we break them out, when there's only three of us?"

Zs'skyar, "I will use my abilities to sneak out each of our allies out, one by own. It may take a few months, but the victory over Tennyson will be worth it!"

Zombozo, "... I'm in!"

At the same time this was happening, A certain someone had stumbled across this meeting.

Hidden up high, was a surprising witness.

Elena!

Yep, the Queen of the alien chips who had not been seen in years! During all of this time, She had been travelling. Trying to find herself, and figure out what she truly was and wanted to be.

And after seeing this meeting, it seemed she had finally come to a conclusion as a certain thought echoed in her mind.

"I need to warn Ben!"

1: Giving Lumi a Vilgax form was an idea I thought worked here. 2: it ain't Will. 3: my thoughts were to have Hope either end up with Ben and Looma in a 3-way relationship, or Gwen and Kevin, or just with one other male character. Cooper seems like a neat idea though. 4: maybe I'll do twins, who knows? And 5: that seems like a great idea.

Nathanael Card: Ben and Looma are already married, but I'll try to include more romance. Also, the lemons won't be frequent. That's why I do a warning for every lemon I do in one of my stories, so people can skip over those parts.

Hope is gonna be with Cooper. Someone suggested the idea, and it just seemed to click.

Also, what do you think of the idea of FrightWig joining the Plumbers?

And, do you guys like the list for this new team Zs'skyar is putting together? Should we take anyone away? Rojo and her team, as well as the Vreedles aren't gonna be a part of it, since they only care about money, and don't hate Ben personally. Hell, the Vreedles sometimes have to work with Ben, since their mom's are best friends.
