Would you Rather…
"Okay, would you rather…eat a live jellyfish or…make-out with Logan," Nicole asked. Lola wrinkled her nose.
"Neither of those sounds very pleasant," she remarked. Zoey giggled.
"Just choose," she said.
"I'd say jellyfish," Lola replied. All three girls fell into a fit of hysterical laughter. Finally, Lola spoke:
"Okay, Zoey…would you rather…eat three jars of mustard or…go to class naked?"
"Oh, gees, the mustard. Nicole, would you rather…go three days without using your hairdryer or…got out with Logan?" Nicole scrunched her nose.
"Would I have to kiss him?" she asked. Lola raised an eyebrow.
"He's Logan, what do you think?" Zoey replied. Nicole stuck out her tongue.
"I'd have to go without the hairdryer," she said. This caused the girls to burst out laughing again. Nicole going without her hairdryer? That was hilarious. The girls' laughter faded as they continued their game. Suddenly there was a knock on their door. Chase stuck his head in.
"Hey, what are you guys doing? I could hear your giggling from the entrance of the building," he said. Zoey motioned him in.
"We're playing 'Would you Rather' wanna play?" she asked. Chase grinned.
"Of course," he said. Chase sat down on the floor by Zoey.
"So, who's turn is it?" Zoey pointed to Nicole. Nicole thought before she began.
"Chase, would you rather…wear a hot pink bikini to class or…make out with Zoey?" she asked finally. She noticed that right away Chase's face turned crimson.
"Umm…" he hesitated, "Zoey." He looked up at Zoey who, at first, looked shocked. Then her face turned red, too. She took a sudden interest in looking at the carpet. Nicole leaned toward Lola and whispered:
"Did I just cause an awkward moment?" Lola looked back and forth between Chase and Zoey.
"I think so," she whispered back.
"Okay, anyways, Zoey…would you rather…eat ten pounds of chocolate ice cream or…make out with Chase?" Lola asked. She was curious about how Zoey would answer this one. Her friend was still staring down at the floor, looking about as red as a tomato.
"Chase," she said quietly. Lola and Nicole watched Chase's face carefully. He looked somewhat surprised for a moment, just like she had, but then looked kind of happy. Zoey looked up carefully, almost afraid to meet his eyes. Just then, Michael popped his head into the room.
"Hey, you guys wanna come watch a movie?" he asked. The girls nodded and instantly ran to the door, leaving Chase and Zoey staggering behind them. But, before they could get out of the room, Chase grabbed Zoey's arm.
"Zoey?" he said. Zoey looked up at him for the first time since Nicole had asked her question.
"Would you rather kiss me, or not kiss me?" he asked. A wide smile flashed across Zoey's face. She threw her arms around his neck, kissing him so sweetly, so tenderly, that it took Chase a second to react. But after a little while, they both pulled back. Chase leaned his forehead against Zoey's, breathing hard.
"Well, I guess that answer's that question," he said.
A/N: Hi, everyone, I am so sorry I haven't updated on Saving Zoey yet. I promise, I will do it as soon as possible.
