I'm hiding in the shadows

For a glimpses of you

Learn about you

I'm hiding in the shadows

Cause I don't know what else to do

I'm hiding in the shadows

To see you smile

Your smile that brightens up my day

I'm hiding in the shadows

To hear you laugh

Your laugh that makes me smile

I'm hiding in the shadows

To see you work

In your perfectionistic way

I'm hiding in the shadows

Cause you'd never talk to me

I'm hiding in the shadows

To be close to you

For if I wasn't you'd go away

I'm hiding in the shadows

To hear you talk with out a care

For if you saw me you'd watch your words

I'm hiding in the shadows

Cause I'm your enemy

I'm hiding in the shadows

So I can't be told I'm fraternizing

But for you it be well worth it

I'm hiding in the shadows

So I can be close to you

With out you being on guard

I'm hiding in the shadows

For I've got a unrequited love

And she the enemy
