AN-My friend has been on my case since forever for me to write a HP fic so here it is.

The wind swept through his hair as Harry flew faster and faster through the night sky. He was trying to erase all the events of the day from his head. The funeral was painful enough, but Ginny well that was another story. He couldn't let her get hurt. She meant to much to him. Sighing, he slowed down and headed back to the ground. He landed swiftly, jumping off his broom. He didn't want to go back to the commen room yet. He knew Hermione would be waiting for him to ask him why. Why did he break up with Ginny? Why did he break her heart? He couldn't even answer those questions.

With Ginny, he had never felt more happy. Cho never made his heart soar like Ginny did. Going back to the Commen room meant facing something he wasn't ready for. Ron was already angry at him. When he had found out what Harry did, he chased him out of the commen room yelling stuff like ''I thought you cared about her!'' or ''How could you!'' Harry sighed. They didn't understand. She meant to much to him for him tolet her be a part of this. If Ginny got hurt or killed Harry would blame himself. It would be his fault.

He heard footsteps approaching and looked up to see Ginny walking his way.

''Hi Harry.'' she said sitting down next to him.

''Hi Ginny.'' he said back sitting up.

''What are you doing out here?'' she asked.

''Hiding.'' Harry told her.

''Who from?'' Ron? Hermione? or me?'' she asked.

''Everyone.'' Harry said.

''Oh, ok.'' Ginny said.

''Ginny I-'' Harry started.

''Why did you break up with me Harry. You know I can handle myself againest anyone. Didn't I prove that when I helped take care of those Death Eaters last year!'' she shouted at him.

''It's not that I think you can't handle yourself.'' he said.

''Then what is it?'' she asked.

''Ginny please just leave me alone.'' Harry said grabbing his broom as he stood up. He started walking away but Ginny jumped in front of him.

''Harry tell me the truth.'' she said.

''Ginny please move.''

''Tell me!''

''Ginny!''

''Harry!''

''Ginny!''

''Harry!''

''Please move!''

''Tell me!''

''I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU!'' he shouted at her. ''You mean to much to me Ginny. If I lost you, I'd never forgive myself. I can't let you get hurt. I love you.''

''You do?'' Ginny asked.

Harry nodded.

''I love you too.'' she said.

''It can't change anything.'' Harry said.

''Yes it can. I want to fight with you. I want to help you. Please Harry, don't shut me out.'' Ginny pleaded.

''You can't change my mind.'' Harry said.

''Maybe this can.'' Ginny said reaching up to kiss him.

''You can't no for an answer, can you?'' Harry asked after they broke apart.

Ginny shook her head.

''Come Harry lets go back to the commen room. I want to show Ron he can't kill you.'' she said, takinghis hand.

''Just a second.'' Harry said pulling on her arm, bringing her closer to him. He hugged her close and whispered into her hair, ''I love you Ginny.''

''I love you too Harry.'' she whispered back.

Then they walked hand-in-hand back to the commen room.

''You do know that if you ever do that again, I will have to kill you.'' Ginny told him.

Harry laughed. ''Yeah I know. Can you forgive me for being an idiot?''

''Do you mean just this time or every other time?'' Ginny asked, running to the castle, Harry chasing after her.
