Author's Note: I'd like to apologize for the delay in getting this chapter up. I decided last week that I needed to take a week off from this story. I should also mention that starting from this point, I'll only be updating this story every two weeks for the next month or so.

Chapter 5: Fallen One
DoneDevimon continued to laugh with insane glee. "Yes! YES! This power continues to grow and grow! Very soon I shall be the strongest Digimon in all existence!"
"Explain yourself, foul one!" Seraphimon demanded. "How have you achieved such a horrid transformation?"
"The Oracle 666 video I created with young Meiko was designed to plant the seed of hate in those who watched it. The messaging app installed in the devices of the viewers was designed to allow that hatred to grow and spread, creating massive amounts of data saturated with negative human emotion. And now all of that data is flowing into me! I have now obtained a power even the Old Ones could not stand against!"
Seraphimon shook his head. "But at what cost? I can tell your mind is on the verge of being crushed by all this power. Very soon you'll be nothing more than a mindless rampaging beast!"
"I don't care! All that matters is very soon I shall have my revenge on you! And afterwards both this world and the Digital World shall both bow before me!"
"…I actually pity you. Therefore I have no choice but to destroy you in order to protect this world and put you out of your misery!"
"Let's can the talk!" MetalGarurumon interrupted. "Time to blow this guy away!"
The mechanical wolf then fired every weapon built into his body, sending a barrage of missiles at DoneDevimon. At the same time, Seraphimon fired a cluster of seven gold fireballs down at his old nemesis. Both attacks hit their target and created a fairly large explosion. When the smoke cleared though, both Digimon could see their attacks had done little damage. DoneDevimon began to cackle again as the two giant fists generated by his wings flew at Seraphimon and MetalGarurumon.
Seraphimon managed to avoid the attack, but MetalGarurumon was hit and knocked onto his side. It took a few moments for the mechanical wolf to get back up.
"You're wasting your time!" DoneDevimon declared. "I AM ALL-POWERFUL!"
"This is not good!" Matt declared. "Izzy, tell me you're close to shutting down that server."
"I'm afraid I'm going to have to disappoint you!" Izzy responded over Matt's earpiece. "The firewall this server has is one of the strongest I've ever seen! You're going to have to hold out for a while longer!"
"I don't think we can. Our attacks are barely leaving a scratch. If this goes on for too long, DoneDevimon might become too powerful for us to stop!"
Nakano Broadway had almost emptied out completely as Kari and Meiko stood facing one another like the opening of some Wild West showdown. Gatomon and Meicoomon meanwhile were glaring at one another with large eyes, which was the typical sign of aggression in most cats. Noir and Blanc both had their weapons pointed at Meiko and her Digimon, while Norn and the Mikiharas stood by, unsure of what to do.
"You're Meiko, right?" Kari asked. "What do you want with me? Why are you trying to hurt me and my family?"
"Because you've never known true pain," Meiko answered with a twisted smirk. "You've never suffered like I have. So I'm going to show you pain…pain you've never imagined. And when I'm done…you and I will be exactly the same."
Before Kari could ask what Meiko meant, the mad Digidestined's digivice suddenly began to give off red sparks of electricity. Suddenly the device gave out the mechanical cry of a single word.
"BIOMERGE!"
Meiko suddenly turned into a ball made of crackling purple energy and entered Meicoomon. Meicoomon's eyes suddenly began to glow, and soon a pillar of purple light enveloped the feline.
"Meicoomon biomerge digivolve to…Raguelmon!" the feline called out from within the light, her voice changing from the utterance of her other name.
A few seconds later the light faded to reveal a humanoid feline with glowing green eyes and thick orange fur. The long fur on her head was styled like hair, and she had two pairs of ears and an armored jaw, along with a mouth full of large metal fangs. Gold armor covered the cat's forearms, legs, and the front of her torso. Each of her hands had three fingers ending with glowing purple claws, and from the armor covering each forearm extended three blades made of purple crystal. A purple crystal adorned the feline's stomach, and from her hind end extended a long scorpion tail ending with a purple crystal stinger surrounded by black mist. From the feline's back grew long grey fur, which surrounded the base of two large white-feathered wings. Each of these wings also bore a round purple gemstone near the base, and was surrounded by a strange black mist.
"What…what the hell just happened?" a stunned Himeko asked. "Did that woman and her Digimon just…merge?"
"I don't know what this is, but we should get out of here!" Kudamon decided.
"Kari! I think you and I are the only ones who can stop her!" Gatomon told her partner.
Kari nodded. "Right. Let's do this!"
Soon after, Kari's D-3 let out the mechanized cry of one word. "BIOMERGE!"
With that word Kari turned into a ball made of pink light that went into Gatomon, causing a pillar of pink light to form around the white feline.
"Gatomon biomerge digivolve to…Ophanimon!" Gatomon cried as she transformed in that explosion of light, her voice changing as she uttered her other name.
When the light finally cleared, it revealed a woman in blue-green and silver armor that had a design similar to Seraphimon's. Though there were quite a few differences. Her helmet did not cover her entire face, it revealed only her mouth, and it did not cover up her long flowing strawberry blond hair. Yet the helmet did had the same gold cross as the one on the front as Seraphimon's. The front part of the armor covering her torso revealed Ophanimon's bare stomach, and instead of normal leg armor she had a white shimmering skirt that was covered in the regular blue-green armor above the knees. On her feet she wore elegant high-heeled shoes the same color as her armor, and on her back were eight golden wings that shined with a brilliant light.
"WHAT THE HELL?" shouted a freaked out Himeko. "Her too? Who are these people?"
Ophanimon flew down the corridor at full speed and rammed right into Raguelmon. In the next few seconds the angel Digimon had pushed her enemy through the front doors of Nakano Broadway, shattering the glass in the process. Meanwhile, Kotaro and Toya ran after the pair with their respective Digimon in tow, followed closely by the Sistermon Sisters. Norn ran after the group with Agu and Gao soon after, leaving Himeko and Kudamon standing alone in the hallway.
"What…the hell is going on today?" Himeko asked no one in particular.
"Uh, Hime? It looked like Kotaro and Toya were going to have their Digimon take part in whatever crazy battle's about to happen," Kudamon pointed out. "Don't you think we should try and stop them?"
Himeko gasped at the realization. "Oh crap! You're right! Guess we're going in?"
By the time Kotaro and Toya got out of the mall with Vic, Hackmon and the Sistermon Sisters, they found Ophanimon and Raguelmon hovering in the air, getting ready to face off.
"I don't know what the heck's going on here, but we should probably help out Norn's mom," Kotaro decided.
"Doesn't look like it'll be an easy fight though," Toya pointed out.
"Indeed," Hackmon agreed. "The Digimon belonging to the Child of Darkness has taken on its Mega form. She will be a far more difficult opponent than the Devidramon we fought the other day. Still, it is our duty to face this opponent and bring an end to her reign of terror."
"I'm certainly not one to shy away from a fight," Vic declared.
"Neither am I," Kotaro agreed. "Let's do this!"
Both Kotaro and Toya's D-3's lit up, and soon after their respective Digimon began to glow with blue and red lights.
"Veemon digivolve to…Veedramon!" Vic called out as he transformed.
"Hackmon digivolve to…BaoHuckmon!" Hackmon called as he evolved to his Champion form.
"Don't think you can leave us out!" Noir declared as she twirled her two guns. "Okay Blanc, time to cut loose!"
"I'm ready!" Blanc responded.
Suddenly both sisters began to glow with purple and pink lights, signaling a startling transformation. The purple light from Noir faded to reveal that her habit had turned into a cat-like mask, and that she had gained yellow eyes. The top of her dress had opened up to reveal her impressive bust, and above her breasts she had gained a glowing gold cross-like marking. Blanc's habit had become a rabbit-like mask adorned with the same gold cross-like marking Noir had on the forehead. The pupils of Blanc's eyes had also become shaped like crosses.
"Whoa! Did you guys just evolve?" an amazed Vic asked.
Noir chuckled. "More or less. These are our awakened forms, kiddies. In this state, our true powers are unleashed."
"It's been way too long since I took this form!" Blanc exclaimed as she twirled her spear. "I'm just aching to crack some skulls!"
BaoHuckmon flinched at those words. "Toya, and you as well Kotaro. The two of you might want to stay back. In her awakened state, Blanc's latent battle instincts tend to take her over completely."
"You mean she goes berserk?" an alarmed Toya asked.
"An accurate assessment."
Kotaro shrugged. "Guess it's true what they say about the quiet ones."
"Just remember killer, our target is Raguelmon," Noir told Blanc. "Try not to take out anyone else."
"I'll do my best, but make no promises," Blanc responded with a glint in her eyes. "Now let's go!"
Blanc then raised her spear in the air and fired a beam of gold light from its head up at Raguelmon. At the same time, Noir fired a barrage of bullets up at the evil cat Digimon. Vic then fired a massive stream of blue flames from his jaws up at Raguelmon that formed into an arrow at the end. All three attacks struck Raguelmon, but did not seem to do any damage at all. It did cause the evil cat Digimon to turn and look down at the attackers though. BaoHuckmon then leapt into the air and prepared to slash at Raguelmon with his claws, but when he got in striking range the demonic feline merely swatted him away.
Soon after BaoHuckmon hit the ground near where Vic was, Raguelmon fired several purple energy bullets from the crystals on her chest and arms down at the group. All four Digimon took heavy damage from the attack but had remained standing. Meanwhile, a gold javelin and a teal shield bearing the golden image of a horse head appeared in Ophanimon's hands.
"You're after me, remember?" Ophanimon called out as she aimed her weapon at Raguelmon. "Eden's Javelin!"
A ray of gold light shot from the head of Ophanimon's javelin and struck Raguelmon in the lower back, causing her to yowl with pain.
Raguelmon turned back to face Ophanimon. "Would it hurt you that much if they died?"
"They have nothing to do with this!" Ophanimon told her. "You came for me, remember?"
"I came to hurt you, not kill you. To make you suffer. And if their deaths make you suffer, then they shall die along with everyone else you love."
Ophanimon then fired another ray of light from her javelin, only for Raguelmon to dodge the attack. The wicked cat Digimon responded by firing another barrage of purple light bullets from the crystals on her body, only for Ophanimon to evade the attack.
Suddenly the black mist emanating from Raguelmon's wings and tail began to intensify. "Darkness Zone!"
The black mist expanded and soon became a dark cloud that surrounded both Ophanimon and Raguelmon. Ophanimon soon felt the strength being drained from her body. She felt almost paralyzed. Suddenly Raguelmon flew through the cloud and rammed into Ophanimon, knocking them both out of the sky. The two of them collided into the pavement on the street below, with Raguelmon ending up on top.
Raguelmon brought her face inches away from Ophanimon's and began to stroke her cheek. "I'm going to take away…everything you love…and bring us closer together."
Suddenly there was a flash of light, and Kari found she was suddenly lying naked in a field of black. A nude Meiko was on top of her, stroking her cheek just as Raguelmon had been stroking Ophainimon's. Their faces were only inches apart.
"I'm going to make you experience such sweet agonizing pain," Meiko told Kari. "The same kind of pain I've had to suffer. I'm going to make you suffer over and over again until you've been completely broken down. And when I'm done…you'll be all mine."
Meiko then began to move in to plant a kiss on Kari's cheek, but at the last moment Kari came back to her senses. Whatever strange illusion caused by Raguelmon's earlier attack was broken, and Ophanimon finally pushed the demonic feline off her and quickly flew back into the air. Raguelmon soon followed after her and growled from where she hovered across from her in the sky. Inside Ophanimon, Kari's heart was racing with terror.
"Kari, are you okay?" Ophanimon's voice asked her partner from within.
"I'm fine," Kari assured her. "I don't know what happened to us just now, but I am sure of one thing. That woman is totally insane!"
Seraphimon and MetalGarurumon continued to struggle against DoneDevimon. Their attacks had done little damage to the mad demon, which had not only grown more powerful but had also steadily started to grow larger. MetalGarurumon let loose another barrage of missiles at DoneDevimon, but the attack had done no damage at all. DoneDevimon cackled madly before he retaliated by firing an intense stream of black energy from his mouth. The blast struck both MetalGarurumon and Seraphimon, knocking them both to the ground.
"This is becoming endless!" Seraphimon declared as he got back up. "He's grown far too powerful."
"We…can't give up," MetalGarurumon declared as he got back to his feet. "We have to stop him before he goes on a total rampage through the city."
Suddenly a large fast-moving object came down from above towards DoneDevimon. The object in question turned out to be Stingmon, who was moving in to strike the demon with one of the stinger blades from his arms. Before the giant insect could get in close enough though, DoneDevimon swatted him away with one of the giant hands emanating from his wings.
"Matt!" a familiar voice called. Matt turned and saw Tai running up with Agumon, Ken and Matayoshi. "We came as fast as we could!"
"Your timing couldn't be better," Matt told him. "We need to stop DoneDevimon, and quickly."
"Good god!" Matayoshi exclaimed as he got a good look at the demon. "How could anyone stop a monster like that?"
"We're about to find out!" Tai answered. "Agumon!"
"On it!" the little dinosaur responded.
Tai's digivice then lit up and Agumon began to glow with a blinding orange light.
"Agumon warp digivolve to…WarGreymon!" the dinosaur called out as he transformed, his voice changing as he spoke his other name.
In moments the light faded to reveal a humanoid dragon with yellow skin and two horns on the side of its head, along with a third horn on its snout. The creature's head and torso was clad in silver armor, while the armor on its arms was gold. Each piece of armor on its forearms had three blades at the end that looked like claws, and on its back was a split gold shield.
WarGreymon flew over to MetalGarurumon's side. "You okay?"
"I'll live," the mechanical wolf answered. "You sure took your sweet time getting here."
"Sorry. You wouldn't believe the traffic in this city right now."
"Matt, let's take him down!" Tai declared.
"I'm with you!" Matt responded.
The digivices of both Tai and Matt lit up again. WarGreymon turned into a ball made out of orange light while MetalGarurumon turned into a similar ball made out of blue light.
"…DNA digivolve to…Omnimon!" came the voices from both balls of light as they spiraled upwards into the air.
The ball of light that had been Matt's Digimon transformed into an arm of silver with spiked shoulder armor and MetalGarurumon's head for a hand, while the ball of light that had been Tai's Digimon became an arm of gold with WarGreymon's shield on the shoulder and WarGreymon's head for a hand. Once both arms had fully formed, a current of gold electricity flowed in between the two shoulders, creating a spark of light that formed into a torso of white armor with blue stripes on the chest. From the bottom of that torso grew a waist and a pair of legs, also covered in white armor. Then from the top of the torso grew a white helmet and mask. With the head formed, a long white cape with a red underside was deployed from the back, and three horns grew from the top of the helmet. With these finishing touches, the newly formed Digimon opened its eyes.
"Holy crap!" Matayoshi exclaimed. "These Digimon can combine?"
"Some of them can, yeah," Ken confirmed. "Stingmon can combine with the Digimon of my friend, Davis. Unfortunately he isn't even in the city right now. I'm afraid Stingmon and I won't be of much help in this fight."
Omnimon aimed his MetalGarurumon hand at DoneDevimon and a large black cannon barrel extended from its mouth. "Supreme Cannon!"
The white knight fired five shots from his cannon at the demon, shrouding him in a white icy mist. Seraphimon quickly followed up by firing another cluster of seven gold fireballs. When the mist cleared though, little damage had been done to the demon.
"You've gotta be kidding me!" Tai exclaimed. "He's really gotten that strong?"
Matt looked up towards the stream of red energy that was continually flowing into DoneDevimon's back. "We can't win as long as he keeps getting more power. Izzy has to shut down that data stream, and quick!"
Izzy was continuing to type furiously at his computer as he tried to disable the firewall of the Oracle 666 site's server. Unfortunately he was getting nowhere fast. Meanwhile, Tentomon was watching a view of the fight against DoneDevimon on the office T.V., which they were able to witness thanks to a camera near Tokyo Tower that Izzy had hacked into earlier.
"This doesn't look good, Izzy," Tentomon declared. "DoneDevimon is getting too powerful for even Omnimon to stop. We have to shut down that server."
Izzy at last stopped typing and let out a heavy sigh. "It's no use. I just can't break through the firewall."
"You can't give up!" Tentomon told him as he flew over to Izzy's side. "The others are depending on you!"
Izzy took a break and wiped the sweat from his brow. "Okay…I'll give it another try. There is one more trick I know that might work."
Just as Izzy was about to start typing again though, the browser window for the Oracle 666 site on his computer screen suddenly changed. The window now showed a field of blue, in the center of which were four white rectangular shapes arranged like the wings of a butterfly. Beneath this mysterious logo was written a single word, Hudie.
Izzy blinked in surprise. "Huh?"
"You did it!" Tentomon assumed as he looked at the screen.
"No…I didn't!" Izzy told him as he shook his head. "Someone else took down the server."
"Someone else? Who?"
"…I have no idea. But…the important thing is the data stream empowering DoneDevimon has stopped. Tai and the others should hopefully be able to beat him now."
The stream of crimson light flowing into DoneDevimon's back suddenly stopped. When Tai and the others looked up, they found the source of the energy that had been up in the sky had vanished. DoneDevimon began to growl with rage.
"Izzy must've done it!" Tai assumed.
"About time!" Matt declared. "Now we can finally bring this to an end!"
Omnimon fired several more round from his cannon while Seraphimon let loose another barrage of fireballs down at the demon. When the smoke cleared though, minimal damage had been done to the demon.
"We may have stopped him from getting any stronger, but DoneDevimon is already too powerful as it is," Stingmon realized. "Izzy may have been a little too late."
Omnimon nodded. "The three of us alone are not enough to stop him."
"Then perhaps my strength can help you turn the tide!" a familiar voice declared. Everyone looked and saw that Gankoomon had arrived on the scene.
"Who's that?" Seraphimon asked.
"Gankoomon, the knight Homeostasis dispatched to eliminate Meiko," Omnimon answered.
Gankoomon began to approach the now snarling DoneDevimon. "I was out hunting for the Child of Darkness, but it seems you may be just as grave a threat to the balance of this world and the Digital World. Therefore I shall eliminate you!"
DoneDevimon responded by roaring at the redheaded knight. Gankoomon replied by bending down and suddenly digging his fingers into the pavement.
"Table Flip!" Gankoomon called out as he suddenly lifted up the entire section of ground the mad demon was standing on.
DoneDevimon was flung into the air along with the section of pavement he had been standing on. The demon quickly landed on his back and the piece of pavement fell onto him, shattering into several pieces on impact. Before DoneDevimon could recover, a crimson fireball suddenly began to plummet from the top of the tower, surprising Omnimon and the others.
"Corona Sanctions!" called a voice from the fireball as it fell towards the demon.
The fireball at last struck DoneDevimon in the chest, creating another massive explosion. As the resulting flames began to die away, a figure emerged from the smoke. The figure in question was a costumed fighter with a mask that seemed to be made from the head of a light-blue saber-toothed cat. The rest of his costume consisted of a red top that clung tightly to his muscular form, blue rather baggy pants that had the same spotted pattern as his mask, knee high metal boots, a black cape with a red underside, and black gloves with thick metal bands around the wrists that were lit with flames.
"Hell yeah!" the masked fighter exclaimed as he did a double thumbs-up. "How that for a bad-ass entrance?"
"Marsmon!" Seraphimon identified.
"An impressive attack, stranger!" Gankoomon praised. "I rather like your style."
Suddenly DoneDevimon recovered and at last got back on his feet. He roared at Marsmon, but just as the demon was about to attack a ray of green light came and struck him in the face. The ray was coming from a humanoid figure covered in black cybernetic armor, with only the chalk-white skin around his mouth showing. Something looking like a blue dinosaur mask was on his right shoulder, while a red version was on his left.
"This is no time for showing off," the cyborg calmly told Marsmon. "Keep your focus on the enemy."
"Right. Sorry HiAndromon," Marsmon responded as he rubbed the back of his head. "Guess I got a little carried away there."
"These two friends of yours?" Matayoshi asked Tai, Matt and Ken.
Ken nodded. "The members of Team Excalibur. They're finally here!"
Soon after HiAndromon's attack ended, a large swift figure came in from the left and slashed one of DoneDevimon's wings with a sword made of white light. The attacker turned out to be a large knight in ornate dark-silver armor decorated with gold trim. In the center of his helmet on the forehead was distinct red gemstone, and from the sides of the helmet grew two long wing-like horns, giving his head an almost dragon-like appearance. Decorating the large pieces of armor on each of the knight's shoulders was a large inverted gold triangles surrounded by three smaller triangles. On his back was a pair of armored wings and a long tattered white cape with a blue underside.
As soon as his sword of light vanished, the knight pointed a finger at DoneDevimon. "Foul creature of the Digital World! I, Alphamon, shall put an end to thee!"
The battle between Ophanimon and Raguelmon had moved further on down the street. Kotaro and the others had followed after the two from the ground, with Vic, BaoHuckmon and the Sistermon sisters firing attacks as they pursued. Unfortunately none of their attacks had done any damage at all. In fact their attempts to fight the fallen angel had only made them into targets. Raguelmon would try and attack them only for Ophanimon to step in and take the damage in their place. Blanc had managed to block some of the attacks as well using a special barrier technique she could deploy, but eventually Ophanimon and the ground attackers had all taken some pretty heavy damage. Meanwhile Norn, Agu and Gao had simply stood by and watched.
"Damn-damn-damn-damn-DAMN!" Blanc cursed as she swung her trident through the air. "How come we can't do any damage to that bitch?"
"Well, she is a Mega level Digimon," Noir pointed out. "In the end, our combined power just might not be enough."
"Mega level Digimon?" Toya asked.
"There are different levels of Digimon evolution," BaoHuckmon explained. "Right now Vic and myself are only Champion level Digimon. Noir is also only a Champion despite being in her awakened state, while Blanc is only a Rookie level. Lady Ophanimon is a Mega level like Raguelmon, but their power is too equal."
"Plus she's been spending all her energy trying to protect us," Noir added. "And as a result, she's taken a lot of damage."
"So what you're saying is…we're not making any difference here?" Toya asked.
Noir shook her head. "If anything, we're just getting in the way."
"That's bullshit!" Kotaro declared. "I don't care about this level crap! The fact is Raguelmon and the crazy lady inside her is after Norn, and I made a pact with Vic and Toya to protect her! Besides, I've never been one to back down from a fight."
Vic chuckled. "You took the words right out of my mouth, pal. I don't like to back down from a fight either. Besides, the tougher the opponent, the more spectacular the victory!"
"Despite the difference in our power, it is my duty as Master Gankoomon's disciple to prevent Raguelmon from achieving her goal!" BaoHuckmon declared.
Toya nodded. "It may be pointless, but I'm bound by the pact I made with Toya to protect Norn, so I'm with you!"
Noir smirked. "My sis and I don't intend to back down either."
"That's right!" Blanc declared. "We're gonna pound Raguelmon into the ground or die trying!"
"Then you're all idiots!" a familiar voice interrupted. Everyone looked and saw a now sweaty Himeko standing behind them with Kudamon still draped over her neck. "Man! I finally caught up to you. Now, will you all just come to your senses and get the hell out of here? I still don't have a clue about what's going on here, but it's clearly not our business. So let's just go already and let Norn's mom handle this."
"Back off, sis!" Kotaro told her. "You're in the way! Toya and I made a pact between men to protect Norn, and that's just what we're gonna do."
"A pact between…? Oh come on! The two of you can't even grow beards yet!"
"I wouldn't expect a blond idiot like you to understand! Now get lost before you get hurt!"
"You rebellious little brat!" Himeko snapped. "That's it! I'm getting you out of here even if I have to drag you off myself!"
"Hime, just hold on!" Kudamon interrupted. "Let me try and handle this. Look, we respect your desire to stay and fight this enemy to protect your new friend, but Vic and the others have taken too much damage. If they keep fighting, they could end up getting deleted. Look at them all! It's taking everything they have just to stand up, right?"
Kotaro looked over at Vic and scowled. The blue and white dragon did look like he was about ready to collapse.
"It's best to just retreat and let Ophanimon handle things," Kudamon continued. "With all of you out of the way, she can concentrate fully on taking down that evil Digimon."
"Yeah, but…she's already taken a lot of damage too," Toya pointed out. "If anything, she needs backup now more than ever."
"Well there's nothing any of us can do to help that. Now let's all get out of here so…"
Before Kudamon could finish his sentence, a snake made of white light suddenly came and slithered around Vic and the other injured Digimon on the ground. In moments their injuries were completely healed. The snake then flew into the air and slithered around Ophanimon, healing all of her injuries in a matter of seconds. With its task finished, the snake flew down towards a nearby ally. The snake vanished into the ally, and a moment later another Digimon stepped out from it.
The Digimon in question was a woman with light purple skin and a very ornate purple dress with baggy sleeves and an open skirt shaped like lotus petals. On her head she wore a sort of purple crown that covered the upper half of her face. In her right hand she carried a staff with a rainbow colored flower on top, and in her left a staff in the shape of a Caduceus.
"Oh great! Another enemy?" Himeko protested.
"Let me at 'em!" Blanc spoke as she pointed her spear at the stranger, forcing Noir to hold her back.
"Don't be afraid," the purple woman told them. "I am Lotosmon, and I am here to help. Your injuries have been healed, so you should all evacuate this area."
"We can't let Ophanimon continue this fight alone!" Toya told her.
"She won't be fighting alone. I am here to help provide support, and I'm not the only one."
As if on cue, a fast moving object came down from above and slashed Raguelmon in the side before moving in front of Ophanimon. The attacker in question was a woman covered ornate white armor, with dark-blue blades on her shoulders in the shape of crescent moons. The armor on the front of each leg was in the shape of a crescent moon, each with face on it. Around her neck was a long pink ribbon that was like a scarf, and on her back were six long quills. In her right hand she carried a white double-bladed staff with crescent-shaped blades.
"Dianamon?" a stunned Ophanimon identified.
The armored woman looked back in response. "Sorry we couldn't come sooner."
Suddenly another figure jumped from the roof of a nearby building and began spinning through midair like a top. The attacker cut into Raguelmon's side, causing her to yowl in pain. The attacker landed on the ground right beneath Ophanimon and Dianamon, and turned out to be a woman with long silver hair covered in black armor. A pink visor with an eyehole in the shape of a cross was on the top half of her face. The armor on her chest, shoulders, and around her waist was also pink, and dangling from the pink armor around the waist were several sword blades that formed a sort of skirt. On her back was a pink cap, and in her left hand she carried a long staff with a black mallet above a red gemstone that was above a gold heart.
"QueenChessmon!" Ophanimon identified.
"Do you have any idea how much of my schedule I had to rearrange to be here?" QueenChessmon responded. "Let's get this over with."
"Okay! Ophanimon has help!" Himeko told Kotaro and the others. "Now let's get the hell out of here!"
"No way!" Kotaro responded.
"Dammit Kotaro!"
"Look Himeko! There's nothing you can say to make Toya and me back down from this fight! Now if you run away, fine! You can at least make yourself useful by getting Norn and her two Digimon out of here!"
Lotosmon sighed. "I have no idea who any of you are, but your young friends seem determined to stay and fight. It would be best to get little Norn out of here though. I know she's very important to Kari."
Meanwhile up in the sky, Raguelmon recovered from the last two attacks and roared. Suddenly the black mist emanating from her wings and tail began to intensify again.
"Get ready!" Ophanimon told Dianamon and QueenChessmon. "I've seen her use this attack once before! I don't know what it is exactly, but the last time I was hit I was drained of energy!"
"Thanks for the tip. Not sure we can avoid it though," Dianamon noted as she noticed the intensity of the mist. "Looks like she's about to hit the entire area."
Down on the ground, Himeko went over to Norn. "Okay kid. Let's get out of here."
"No!" Norn declared as she stepped away. "I've let this go on for far too long. I didn't want to get involved because Raguelmon is a biomerged Digimon, but this battle is getting too out of hand. Agu! Gao! Come to my aid!"
"We've been waiting for you to say that!" Agu responded.
"Let's take her down!" Gao spoke.
Suddenly Norn began to give off a brilliant white aura, surprising Himeko and the others. At the same time, Agu began to glow with an orange light, while Gao began to glow with a blue light.
"Agumon warp digivolve to…VictoryGreymon!" Agu cried out as he transformed.
"Gaomon warp digivolve to…ZeedGarurumon!" Gao called out as his body changed.
The lights faded from both of Norn's Digimon to reveal them in their evolved forms. Agu had become a Digimon that looked very similar to WarGreymon. Though instead of a regular pair of horns, the horns on the sides of his head were formed by a pair of golden blades that met at the front of his snout and formed a V-shape. The shield panels on his back were shaped more like wings, and instead of the bladed gauntlets of WarGreymon, he wielded a large three-bladed sword. Gao meanwhile had become a Digimon similar to MetalGarurumon. Only much of his armor was blue and he had a green nose. Rather than blades, the mechanical wolf had a large cannon on his back and a smaller cannon on the end of his cable-like tail.
"What the heck?" a stunned Vic exclaimed. "Those two just evolved straight to the Mega level!"
"To think they've been hiding such power all this time!" BaoHuckmon observed.
"Zeed Cannon!" Gao called out as he fired a shot from the giant cannon on his back.
The shell took off through the air and struck Raguelmon in the chest, causing her to shriek with pain as the projectile exploded. The smoke cleared to reveal that actual cracks had formed in the fallen angel's chest armor. It was far more damage than any previous attack had done before. Before Raguelmon could fully recover from Gao's attack, Agu flew through the air and slashed her across the chest with his giant sword, knocking her out of the sky and onto the street below.
"Arthur mentioned that Norn's Digimon packed some serious power, but I didn't think they were that strong," Dianamon remarked.
"Why am I even here?" QueenChessmon complained.
Despite taking such heavy damage though, Raguelmon soon got back to her feet. Meanwhile the black most emanating from her tail and wings had only continued to intensify.
"Agu! Gao! Lend me your power!" Norn called out. "DigiXros!"
Norn's body became completely shrouded in a blinding white light and began to change shape. At the same time, Gao and Agu turned into balls of blue and orange light and shot into the air. In seconds, Norn seemed to take on the figure of a young woman in her twenties. Though her body was still shrouded in white light. So it was impossible to make out any of her features.
The blue ball of white that was Gao came down and hit Norn's right shoulder. The ball changed into a piece of shoulder armor in the shape of ZeedGarurumon's head. In seconds, Norn's right arm became covered in blue futuristic armor with a pair of black cannon barrels mounted on the forearm. The orange ball of light that was Agu then came down and attached itself to Norn's left shoulder, changing into a piece of armor in the shape of VictoryGreymon's head. Gold futuristic armor quickly covered Norn's left arm, and on the forearm was a retracted sword blade.
The rest of Norn's body soon became covered in white and silver armor. On the front of the breastplate was Norn's Crest of Radiance. Appearing on a piece of the armor that was like a belt buckle was a white-inverted triangle with three smaller triangles surrounding it. On Norn's head was a white helmet that had a gold star on the front similar to the star on Seraphimon and Ophanimon's helmets. Her long blonde hair spilled out from under the helmet, but a gold faceplate and a blue visor covered her face.
"DigiXros complete!" Norn called out. "Norn X3!"
"What…the…hell?" a stunned Himeko spoke.
"Since when could Norn do this?" Toya wondered.
Angelic wings made of white light appeared on Norn's back as Raguelmon rose back into the air. Norn flew up just as Raguelmon unleashed her mist attack on Ophanimon and the others. Before the mist could build completely, a blinding white light emanated from Norn's body and completely dispelled it, breaking it apart into nothing.
"I don't know who you are, or why you have done any of this," Norn told Raguelmon. "But I will not let you harm my mom or any of my friends! If you do not stop this right now…then you leave me no choice but to end you!"
