It was finally the day of the preliminaries. I kinda hoped that most of the matches would be the same...it was nice knowing who I would face. The only match I wanted to be different was Lee and Gaara's match. I didn't want to see Lee's arm and leg get crushed. I didn't want to hear his screams of agony, or see the defeated look he would no doubt have once Tsunade arrived and told him he had a 50% chance of surviving the surgery to attempt to fix him. I knew he would be alright in the end...but it would still be torture. Even so...I couldn't hate Gaara. He was a future friend to Lee, and the future kazekage! I would be mad at him for a bit though.
I had zoned out during the whole spiel on what the chuunin exams were, and suddenly it was just me and the weird chakra vampire guy left. Wow, I really need to pay better attention. I remembered that in the show, Sasuke had a really difficult time against this guy, mostly because he had started the match just minutes after arriving at the tower, causing him to start with low chakra. But I had all my chakra...plus I was a fuck of a lot faster, especially since I dropped my weights fighting Orochimaru. My speed after I dropped my weights was about the same as Lee's speed WITH his weights on. Unlucky for the other guy that I didn't have them, though.
I missed Hayate calling the start of the match while lost in thought, and only broke out of my reverie when I saw chakra vampire dude rushing towards me. I smoothly dodged him, immediately activating the sharingan and practically dancing around him. After a few minutes of this, I could see that he was getting irritated. Good, meant he was more likely to slip up.
When he finally did, I immediately went to use Dancing Leaf Shadow. I kicked him straight up into the air, and jumped up after him. Instead of going into the Primary Lotus, though, I grabbed him with my hands, attaching chakra strings to him before I used them to swing him up, then down into the floor of the arena as hard as I could, leaving a small crater. I came up with the name for the move on the fly, so it wasn't the best I could do...but it was still awesome, if I did say so myself. While still in the air, after hurling him down, I shouted out the name.
"NINPO: TERMINAL VELOCITY!!!!"
Hayate walked up to the guy, and called the match. I heard a few raucous cheers from the balcony, and looked up to see that it was Naruto, Kiba, Gai, Lee, Sakura, and Ino. Many others were gobsmacked.
"YES, MY KOHAI!!! THE FLAMES OF YOUR YOUTH BURNED SPLENDIDLY!!!!"
"ALRIGHT, BASTARD!!!!! YOU SHOWED HIM!!! BELIEVE IT!!!"
"KYAAAAA!!!! THAT'S MY SASUKE-KUN!!!!"
"NO, HE'S MY SASUKE-KUN, BILLBOARD BROW!!! HE'S AMAZING!!!"
"AFTER THE EXAMS I SHALL DO 100 LAPS AROUND THE VILLAGE ON MY HANDS TO CELEBRATE THE VICTORY OF THE BLUE BEAST!!!!"
"HELL YEAH, SASUKE!!!"
I bowed dramatically to the crowd, then jumped up to the stands, practically tackling Lee as I became sandwiched between two bawling masses of green. Naruto eventually joined in as well, and Gai and Lee started talking about how youthful Naruto joining the group hug was. I should get him an orange version of the jumpsuit...he would look awesome. The legwarmers for him could be blue, too, and he could have the red spiral on the back!!! Yep. I was gonna get one made for him. Kakashi had no say and he would be traumatized once more. It was too bad that Sakura would never agree to wear one...they were cozy and practical. I was broken out of the hug sandwich by pained screaming, and I looked down to see that the sound guy fighting Shino had blown his damn arms off. Poor guy.
Now it was Kankuro's turn, and he was facing Kabuto lackey #2. It went the same as canon, and then it was Sakura vs Ino. This would hopefully be interesting. As the two girls went down to the arena, I called out to them.
"REMEMBER, THE ONLY WAY YOU HAVE THE SLIGHTEST CHANCE OF CATCHING MY INTEREST IS IF YOU'RE STRONG AS FUCK!!!!"
The two girls looked up to me, both a bit embarrassed before I saw a steel settle into their bones. Good, they were taking this seriously. I was quickly bored to tears though as the fight went the exact same as canon. Boring.
As Tenten and Temari went down to face off, my gaze turned sad. This was just a bad matchup...Tenten's specialty was weapons...more specifically throwing an excessive amount of weapons at someone until they died. Whereas Temari was a wind user, and was easily able to blow the weapons off course to render them useless. I stood next to Lee, and automatically grabbed his arm to hold it.
"...she's gonna lose...bad...it's just a really bad matchup for her...Temari will just use her fan to blow all the weapons off course. She could win against almost anyone else...but not Temari."
Lee looked somber after my explanation, and patted my head. "It is okay, Sasuke-kun. No defeat can snuff out the fires of her youth...she will only become stronger after this."
I nodded, and continued watching the fight. I winced as Tenten landed on top of Temari's fan. It looked painful. Then it was time for Shikamaru and that soumd chick...but it went slightly different. This time, she hadn't seen his shadow technique, and was quickly caught in it. Instead of shuriken being thrown and her hitting her head dodging, Shikamaru just backed up, turned around, and aggressively bowed forwards, making the girl hit her head on the wall HARD. Needless to say, she was knocked unconscious and Shikamaru won.
Next, it was Naruto and Kiba. I watched the fight progress, and once Naruto made the comment of him being the 'top dog', I let out a loud laugh.
"HAHA!!!! KNEE SLAPPER!!!!!" True to form, I slapped my knee.
Unfortunately I slapped it a bit too hard and soon I was jumping up and down on one foot holding my now most likely bruised knee. No one really paid attention to me aside from a couple bemused glances. I didn't pay much attention to the rest of the fight, because I remembered something. I walked over to where Gaara stood, and both Temari and Kankuro stiffened at my approach. Gaara gave me a slight glower.
"Hey...Gaara? I have...a question for you. If you refuse that's fine, but...I wanted to ask anyways." I said.
Gaara just tilted his head at me.
"...if you fight Lee-senpai...please try not to kill him. Just...knock him out, please. He's one of my precious people...I can't lose him. I know that of anyone else here, he would be most likely to give you a decent fight other than myself. Whatever you want in return for this request...I'll do my best to do it."
Temari and Kankuro were gobsmacked, and Gaara looked contemplative.
"...why would you go so far for someone else? Bonds with others make you weak..." He said.
I smiled. "At times they can, yes...but they can also be your greatest strength. If you're fighting for someone other than yourself...you'll push yourself past the limit to try and protect them. If you find yourself overwhelmed by an enemy, and you have the option to either run away and let others die or stay and fight to protect someone precious to you...with bonds, you'll fight to protect them. All the strongest people out there...gained strength to protect those precious to them. I watched a kid just a little older than me save the life of his precious person by using a jutsu to intercept an attack meant for his person and take it all, dying...and he had run out of chakra before he even used that jutsu. He pulled more chakra out...just to save his precious person. I'm not saying you're weak, because you aren't...not at all. You could just be even stronger if you fought to protect others. Sorry for the monologue..."
Gaara looked contemplative once more, and looked to me. "...even if your precious person fails...you would still care for him?"
I nodded. Gaara's face screwed up into a grimace. He just didn't understand what I was trying to say. Not that I was surprised. I just bowed to him respectfully, a small smile underneath my mask.
"...I hope you can fulfill my request, Gaara...I know it's hard for you...but I know if you put your mind to it you could do it. You might not be able to think of what you want from me in return right now, but we do have an entire month after this for you to think of it. I would wish you luck...but I know you don't need luck to win."
With that said, I walked away. I realized that it was Neji's and Hinata's fight now...and Hinata wasn't doing good. I grimaced, and leaned over the railing.
"WEDGIE I SWEAR IF YOU BEAT HER HALF TO DEATH I WILL PUT AN ITCHING POWDER BOMB IN YOUR BEDROOM AND I WILL REPLACE ALL YOUR CLOTHES WITH GLITTERY DRESSES AND I WILL POISON YOU WITH AN INTENSE LAXATIVE!!!!!!"
Everyone looked to me with varying degrees of shock, but I paid them no mind and turned my attentions to Hinata.
"HINATA!!!! BEAT HIS ASS INTO THE GROUND!!!! GENTLE FIST HIM RIGHT IN THE GODDAMN DICK!!!!! I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!"
The shy heiress turned bright red from embarrassment, while Neji was red from rage. The fight restarted, and Hinata seemed to have a bit more confidence, even managing to get a couple good blows in, causing Neji to cough up some blood. Unfortunately, she was still unable to beat him, and eventually Hinata was down for the count. Neji had done exactly as he had in canon. I was fuming, and I looked to Gai.
"Gai-sensei...permission to beat his unyouthful ass until he's so bruised he's purple after this? I will use my sharingan, drop my weights, everything. He nearly killed her...his own younger cousin."
Gai gave me a steely look. "Yes...you can do that, but have Lee fight with you. You will need to work together...but I agree, what Neji did is most unyouthful, and he must be punished."
I nodded, satisfied, and turned to Lee.
"Lee-senpai. I have to warn you...if you fight Gaara, you will lose. Not because you aren't a splendid ninja, but because Gaara is ridiculously strong. His sand automatically protects him from harm, whether he wants it to or not. He also has the one tailed beast sealed inside him, only adding to his strength. However, I am not telling you to give up. You can show everyone here that even though you can't use ninjutsu or genjutsu, you can go toe to toe with the strongest genin here. If anything, you are the second strongest...even ahead of Neji. Neji would lose horribly to Gaara. So...if you fight Gaara, even though you'll lose, you will still prove you are a splendid shinobi...okay?"
Lee looked incredulous at my little speech, and immediately began tearing up.
"IT WARMS MY HEART THAT MY KOHAI FEELS THIS WAY!!! EVEN SO, I WILL GIVE THIS FIGHT MY ALL, AND PROVE MYSELF TO ALL WATCHING!!!!"
As he finished talking, the board lit up once more...showing that it was time for Gaara and Lee to fight. I gave Lee a hug before he jumped down, and I watched anxiously as the fight began. It went exactly the same as canon...even to the point of Lee opening the gates. I screwed my eyes shut as Lee got his arm and leg crushed, tears pricking my eyes. Lee was still just barely conscious, but there was no way he was getting up. As the sand started to advance towards him again, both Gai and myself leapt into the arena, landing between Gaara and Lee to protect the Green Beast. Once it was clear that Gaara was no longer going to attack, I stepped closer to the redhead.
"...I told you he would give you a good fight."
Gaara grumbled something, shakily getting to his feet, his gourd reforming on his back as he held his head in one hand, as if it was hurting.
"...why save him? He failed...why save him?"
Both Gai and I spoke at the same time. "He's precious to me..."
Gaara was even more puzzled now, and he turned around, walking away.
"...I quit"
Lee had passed out a few moments ago, and now he was being carried out on a stretcher. The proctor called the match, and Gai and I jumped back up into the stands. I then remembered something...something I had forgotten about since I got to the tower. I turned to Gai, and gave a deep apologetic bow.
"Gai-sensei...I am very sorry, but I lost my weights in the forest during the battle with Orochimaru. Please forgive me."
Gai gave me a sad smile, clapping a hand on my shoulder.
"Sasuke...it is no trouble at all. In fact, I am very proud that you survived such a perilous encounter. I will get you a new set as congratulations for your survival and advancement in the exams."
I gave a sad smile in return. "As soon as the exams are done, I will find a way to find Tsunade-hime of the sannin to bring her back to heal Lee-senpai. That's a promise! If I fail, I will do 1,000 laps around the village on my hands and blindfolded!!!!"
Gai immediately pulled me into a bone crushing hug, and only let go after the final match was over and all the winners were called to the arena to draw numbers. The matches were the same as canon, so I would be facing Gaara. This time, though...I would be on time for my match. So Shikamaru wouldn't have to face Temari. Oh God, would that keep him from becoming a chuunin? I couldn't have that...maybe I would be intentionally late enough for that match to happen.
Once the roster was drawn up and everything explained, we were dismissed. Almost immediately, Kakashi was in front of me, with a wordless command to follow him. Looks like it was time to get my curse mark sealed. This was gonna be a bitch and a half.
As soon as I woke up in the hospital, I sat up, and then looked around the room to see if anyone was there. I was alone. Then, I carefully placed my feet on the floor, shakily getting to my feet. I must have been unconscious for a while to feel this weak. But I had training to do, dammit!!! I had to master the chidori!!! I wouldn't have to be gone for the whole month either, as I was already fast enough to use it!!! Then I could train in other shit, too. Would I be able to manage the rasengan? What if I reverse summoned myself to get my own contract? I would probably get something weird, like squirrels or something. Parrots? That would be hilarious...I summon a giant parrot to screech at my enemies and deafen them. Oh God what if I got a giant cassowary? That would be terrifying. Even a regular sized cassowary was terrifying enough, able to break bones and disembowel people with one kick. A giant one, though? Even more frightening.
My body kept moving while I was lost in my thoughts, and before I knew it I was dressed and outside the hospital. Deciding to roll with it, I set off to find Kakashi. I checked the most obvious place first; the memorial stone. Sure enough, the man was standing in front of it, unmoving. I walked up to stand next to him.
"...how long have you been here, Kakashi-sensei?" I asked
"...about three hours" he replied.
"...Kakashi-sensei, you wanna go out for soup?"
He let out a choked chuckle. "Is your solution to every emotional problem soup?"
I shrugged. "Not ALL of them...some solutions involve training, others involve sleeping, and there's even a couple I haven't put into practice yet that involve copious amounts of alcohol."
Kakashi gave me a dubious look when I mentioned alcohol. I held my hands up in mock surrender.
"I just said that I haven't put those solutions into action yet. I'm friggin 12, I can't drink until those numbers are reversed."
Kakashi still looked skeptical, but didn't press the issue. "Why did you come here, Sasuke?"
Alright, here we go. "Training for the chuunin exams. I want to learn the move you used in Wave...it would be really useful against Gaara. Sand would be considered earth, right? Well, lightning beats earth, and I'll need a really strong lightning jutsu to be able to beat Gaara."
Kakashi seemed to think for a moment, then nodded his head. "Okay...it should only take a couple weeks for you to learn it. You're already plenty fast enough for it. What would you want to learn next?"
"...That's all I can think of. Do you think I could add an electric charge to my chakra strings?"
"...potentially. Since chakra strings are made up of such a thin amount of chakra, they can be a little unstable if more is added to them. It would require immense chakra control AND reserves...basically for it to work properly, you would need Sakura level control and me level chakra reserves."
I pouted a bit at that. Looked like I was going to have to work on my chakra control, then. I already had decent sized reserves, and I knew that they would eventually dwarf Kakashi's...but damn it, I really wanted to have giant lightning whips. But...maybe I could do something else.
"Teach me fuinjutsu...I know it's like, super complicated, and I won't reach the level I want for years yet...but I want to help Gaara. His seal...is bad."
Kakashi tilted his head at me, giving nothing away. "Oh? And what seal would that be?"
"...his bijuu seal."
Kakashi stiffened. "...are you absolutely SURE, Sasuke?"
I nodded. "Yeah. He has Shukaku, and apparently Suna doesn't know how to seal anything right."
"How did you figure it out?"
"Just look at him and how everyone treats him...plus his ridiculous chakra reserves. His sensei and siblings treat him like a lit explosive tag...the darl rings around his eyes...and throughout our time in the tower, I don't think he slept even once. Plus, that extra chakra, it feels kind of like Naruto's...and he has the Kyuubi in him."
Before I knew it I was pinned to the ground with a kunai at my throat. Kakashi had a steely look in his eye. "How do you know that? No one in your generation is supposed to know."
I gave my teacher a deadpan look. "Everyone treats him like he's vermin, he has a ridiculous amount of chakra, his birthday is the day of the Kyuubi attack, and oh yeah when I was younger I watched as he was chased out of a store with a broom while the store owner called him a 'dirty fox'. It wasn't hard to piece it together."
That last part was a lie, but there was no way they could know that. Kakashi relaxed a bit, and got off of me. I stood up, dusting myself off.
"Sasuke...you can't tell anyone what you know about Naruto. It's labeled an S-ranked secret. Got it?"
I grinned under my mask. "You got it, sensei. Now come on, I have a lightning jutsu to learn!!!"
Kakashi sighed, but relented anyways.
As Kakashi said, it only took a couple of months to master the chidori. I was back in the main part of the village, and after a two day break I would start training with Gai-sensei. Unfortunately, I had way too much energy to burn, and I had to do SOMETHING with myself to keep from losing my mind.
Which lead to me walking around the village. At night. On my hands. With my leg weights on and added arm weights. It was a splendid idea, if I do say so myself. I came up with it, after all. It was moderately lit, with a half moon shining down on me. It was during this particular training that I ran into Gaara. No, really, I had sped up on my hands and bumped into his sand while I wasn't looking. I promptly fell on my face, then looked up to him with a smile once I sat up.
"Hi Gaara! How you doin?" I greeted.
The jinchuuriki looked down at me, face expressionless. "...I am well. What are you doing this late at night? Should you not be sleeping like everyone else?"
I grinned. "That's good! Well, I probably SHOULD be sleeping, but I have too much energy, plus the past few nights I've had awful nightmares about my clan being slaughtered."
Gaara looked curious. "...your clan?"
I nodded. "Yep! Only me and my brother left. But my brother is the one who killed everyone so I don't know if he counts. That's okay though, Naruto is a better brother than he ever was. Hey, wanna spar? As long as you don't like, kill me or hurt me so bad I won't recover in time for the tournament anything goes!!!"
Gaara tilted his head at me, grimacing slightly. "...you are either insane, have a death wish, or both."
"The answer to that question is insane. Besides...you seem bored as hell, and wouldn't a spar be entertaining?"
Gaara just didn't seem to know what to do, but it didn't take long for him to decide. "No. I would risk revealing skills, and so would you. We will fight in the tournament."
I nodded. "Yeah that makes sense. Wanna come to my place, then? We can like...play a card game or something."
Once more, Gaara was utterly baffled. It's like he expected me to be trying to kill him...oh wait he probably did, what with his father constantly sending assassins after him. Fuck that's sad. He seemed curious, though, which was good. I stood up, gesturing for him to follow me and I started walking. After a few moments I looked behind me to see if he was following, and was ecstatic to see that he was.
Eventually, we reached my house, and I shuffled out of my sandals before continuing inside. I immediately went to my room, and pulled a deck of cards out of a drawer, before returning to the living room. Gaara was still standing awkwardly in the entry hall, and I beckoned him forwards with a grin. He reluctantly obliged, and I plopped down on the living room floor, taking the cards from the box and shuffling them. Gaara hesitantly sat down in front of me, and I dealt out cards for go fish. Wait...did he even know how to play?
"...Gaara do you know how to play go fish?"
He shook his head. Well, shit.
"Okay uuuuhhhhh...basically you look at your cards without me seeing them, and let's say you have a seven. You need the other three sevens in order to get a complete set, and once you have all three you take them out of the cards in your hand and you put them down in front of you. To get them, you ask me if I have any, and if I do I give them to you and you ask for a different card. If I don't have what you ask for, I say 'go fish' and you take one from the pile then it's my turn to ask. Get it?"
He still looked a bit puzzled...so it was time to take a new approach. I picked up my hand, looking at it.
"Okay so let's just uuuhhh practice so you can understand it! Okay, Gaara, do you have any...fives?"
Gaara was silent, but tentatively picked up his hand.
"...now if you have any fives, you give them to me. If you don't have any, say go fish."
"...go fish."
I nodded and reached out, taking a card from the pile.
"Okay Gaara, now you ask me for something."
His non-existent eyebrows furrowed, and he looked at his cards.
"Do you have any...Js?"
"That one is called a jack, and yes I do." I handed him the jack I had. "Okay, since I had that, you get to ask again."
He nodded, and looked back to his cards. "Do you have any...threes?"
I shook my head. "No, now go fish. You take a card from the pile, now!"
Gaara took one, then looked at me expectantly. I grinned beneath my mask, and the game continued.
Morning came around, and Gaara and I were still playing. I had lost more than half the rounds played on account of Gaara's extreme poker face. It was maddening, and I was so obsessed with winning at least half of the rounds, that I didn't notice the presence at my window until I heard the whoosh of Gaara's sand behind me. I looked back to see Kakashi perched in my window with sand floating around him ominously. I grinned and gave a wave.
"Morning, Kakashi-sensei!!! Gaara, it's okay, he's my sensei. He's just kinda weird."
The sand receded, but the jinchuuriki still glared.
"...Sasuke...are...are you playing cards...with a Suna genin? More specifically the one you will face in the tournament, and the one who crushed the arm and leg of your...ah...senpai?"
I gave him a thumbs up. "Yep! Come on, Kakashi-sensei, you should be happy for me, I'm making friends!!!!"
"Sasuke, he potentially injured Lee enough for him to never be a shinobi again."
I waved him off. "Eeehhh, I can forgive him for that!!! Besides, after the chuunin exams, I'm gonna convince Hokage-sama to let me go after Tsunade-hime, so I can drag her back here to heal him! It'll be all good!"
Kakashi just seemed exasperated. "Sasuke...do you have no sense of self preservation? You know what don't even answer that. Anyways...originally I came here to let you know that Gai is out on a brief mission, so he won't be back until later today. I also heard that his teammates are in a frenzy looking for him."
I nodded. "I figured he was out when he didn't burst through my door yelling about youth at sunrise. HEY, KAKASHI-SENSEI!!! WANNA JOIN US!?"
"...no" and with that he disappeared in a shunshin. I pouted, then looked back to Gaara.
"We should probably get you back to your hotel, huh?"
Gaara reluctantly nodded, and handed his cards to me. I put all the cards back into the box, then stood up and walked to my door, putting on my sandals. Gaara followed suit and soon we were setting off through the village. Everyone was giving us odd looks, but I paid them no mind.
"...why are you doing that?" Gaara asked.
"Doing what?" I replied.
"Walking on your hands..."
"Training!!!"
Gaara dropped the matter, and in a few minutes we arrived outside the hotel he was staying at, where his team was frantically discussing the fact that they couldn't find him. It was Temari who saw us first, and she was gobsmacked.
"G-Gaara!!"
The other two looked over at the same time, and were similarly confused. Their sensei, Baki, recovered first.
"Gaara, where have you been?"
Gaara seemed irritated. "I was at his house...we encountered each other last night."
You could practically hear the dial tone playing in their heads at their obvious confusion. I chose that moment to spring up from my handstand and land on my feet.
"Yeah! I accidentally ran into him, and asked if he wanted to spar, but he said no so then I asked if he wanted to come home with me and play a card game! I taught him how to play go fish and we played all night!"
Temari was the first to recover. "...what?"
I snarled. "WHAT DON'T YOU GET ABOUT GO FISH, BOOGER BITCH!?"
Everyone seemed taken aback, and Temari turned a bit red from anger. She reached for her fan, but Gaara's sand rushed up threateningly in front of her. He glared hatefully at his sister, the killing intent rolling off him in waves. Everyone else I the vicinity was silent, and stock still...but I couldn't hold in my laughter. Everyone looked to me in shock, and Gaara's killing intent dropped in his confusion.
"S-sorry! Sorry, I...hahaha!!! I react like that to...to killing intent!!!"
"...WHAT KIND OF PSYCHO LAUGHS AT KILLING INTENT!?" Temari screeched.
My giggles having died down, I raised my hand. "This kind of psycho. Gotta say, it's really useful. It even gave Orochimaru pause in the forest! Snake fucker was so confused it gave me a chance to retreat!"
Everyone except Gaara paled. Speaking of...I looked over to the redhead with a grin.
"Well, guess I'll see you later, Gaara! Hey, can I give you a hug yet?"
Gaara looked at me skeptically, body tensing.
"Okay, no hugs yet, got it. If you ever want a hug, feel free to just straight up hug me. I love hugs. Anyways I gotta go train a bit, byyyyeee!!!"
With that, I ran off to one of the training grounds. I was definitely gonna do my daily exercises. I couldn't slack off just because Gai-sensei wasn't here, after all!!! After physical training, I would move on to chakra control training. I could walk on trees and walls, and now I just had to do water walking. Wait...could I walk on water with my hands? That would be cool. Either way...I wouldn't give up until I could do my lightning whips. Hmmm...maybe I should also start trying to adapt chidori for other uses like canon Sasuke did in Shippuden. All of a sudden a shower of lightning senbon, or coating a sword with lightning. OH I SHOULD GET A WEAPON MADE OF CHAKRA CONDUCTIVE METAL, LIKE ASUMA'S TRENCH KNIVES! I COULD STAB PEOPLE WITH A BLADE AND LIGHTNING AT THE SAME TIME! Yep, I totally had to do that. Maybe I should make poisons, too? Hallucinogens would be my preferred go to. Watching someone stab literally nothing thinking it was a person, or them trying to dispel a genjutsu that doesn't exist. I needed to figure out how to make LSD to coat my weapons with. That would be hilarious.
Though in all honesty...I wasn't super excited for the tournament/invasion. I wanted what would come in the aftermath. I wanted to see Itachi and Kisame, mostly. That was going to be absolutely hilarious. I would probably send poor Itachi into an existential crisis. I should totally befriend Kisame, he seems like a cool dude. But after that fiasco...came what has been plaguing my mind the past week...
Would I go to Orochimaru or not?
It was scary...because I had no idea.
A/N: Hi again!!! I am once again drunk posting.I admit, I have no idea how I'm going to do the tournament, and I'm dreading writing it. It might be a bit before that one is done. For now, I'm going to take a page out of one of my favorite fanfic author's book!Question: What theme song would you assign this Sasuke?
