Author's Message: I'm writing this story as to start over my collection of Harry Potter stories. I came back years later and reread some of them and was quite disgusted with the quality. So I'm pleased to announce my first Harry Potter fanfiction in a while, approved for all ages.
Disclaimer: Hi, my name is Will. Unfortunately, Will does not rhyme, sound like, look like, or come close in any way to the name of the author of Harry Potter books, JK Rowling. Thusly, I do not need to say that I don't own Harry Potter in any form or fashion.
Chapter 1:
It was a quiet night. It was a cold night. The sky was overcast and a gentle rain was adding a mysterious glisten to a tiny house on Privet Drive. This house is the residence of a young man with muddled hair and round glasses. Not to mention a quite unforgettable scar.
His name, as it may be known, was Harry Potter.
He awoke in silence and realized today would be the day he returns to Hogwarts for his sixth year. He would be learning among other things, how to deal with the death of his godfather, Sirius.
As the sun rose in the sky, his owl Hedwig arrived at his window with a letter from his school that had a list of supplies on it. Three books.
A Macabre Levitation By Valerian Upton
Seeing the Beast Within By Oscar Ingleton
The River of Styx By Annabelle Percelle
Harry eyed the titles of these books carelessly before he began packing his trunk with his robes, other books, and various things he knew he would need throughout the year.
He still didn't feel like things could get better. He wasn't sure if he could see a bright side to things anymore. He just wanted a parent. He wanted a family.
