Heroes Campfire Resting and Villainous Threats Coming
Rex and Rana's group are seen still running from the base where they escaped from the two Special Inquisitors and their powerful Blades as the sun has already set making the sky slowly turning dark.
"Hey, I think we can running now. I don't see them behind us." Risty informed and seconds later everyone stops.
"She's right, perhaps we're safe for now." Azurda nodded.
"Good, we should get some rest. I can't go any further." Rex agreed.
"Ahh… Tora is popped as well…" Tora yawned.
"Not to mention is getting dark out, we better set up camp around here." Ymir suggested as Agate nods.
Nia smiles at the group feeling that she is lucky to have met them even though she may never see them again for a long time.
"See you later." Nia said before turning around and walking away.
"Huh?" Rana puzzled.
"We are grateful for all you've done. We wish you well on your travels. Farewell." Dromarch said.
"Wait, are you guys really leaving?" Rana asked.
"They have their own shit to deal with kid, don't want to get any outsiders involve so they don't get hurt." Risty said knowing what the cat girl is thinking.
"Speaking from experiences, I take it?" Cattleya guessed.
"Yeah, something like that." Risty crossed her arms under her breasts.
Rex couldn't let this go, Nia and Dromrch might still be wanted because of the group they were in and also he believes they are really good friends to have around knowing that Nia is a really nice person who doesn't want to do any harm to anyone. Then he remembers the talk they had back on the boat before he met Pyra, about that legend and maybe that'll convince her to stay.
"I want to reach Elysium!" Rex shouted a bit.
"What?" Nia stopped, surprise to hear what Rex just said and turns around meeting his eyes.
"I made a promise, I'm taking Pyra to Elysium. It's just… She gave half of her life to save mine, I owe her and intend to do so without turning back on her." Rex said strongly.
"Oh, Rex." Pyra smiled and her cheeks blushing a bit.
"Talk about Romeo, huh?" Risty whispered to Swan as she giggles.
"But half the world seems to be after her. With the Titans dying off, living space is running out, that's gonna start wars. And people need weapons to fight wars, that's why they want her." Rex pointed out.
Both Nia and Risty look down in sadness knowing how most people would be when it comes to war and trying to take what they believe is theirs.
"If I can prove to Elysium exists, maybe I can stop the war that's coming. But… fighting Morag and Leina taught me that I'm not strong enough, I can't do this alone." Rex admitted as Tora was about to hop over to him, but Ymir stops him.
"I learned that very same lesson too, fighting Risty and Swan also showed me how much experience and fighting power I'm lacking right now." Rana said.
"Nia, you're a Driver. We could really use a companion like you, if you want to?" Rex offered Nia to join this party group.
"Elysium? Do you really believe in that myth, kid?" Nia asked.
"What's not to believe? Pyra is here." Rana gestured at Pyra.
"Yeah, she told me that she was born there, so it must exist." Rex strongly believed.
"Your logic is almost as good as Dughal's." Nia chuckled.
"Listen Rex, I don't know if you're stupid or just too nice for your own good. But what if Pyra's just lying?" Nia asked.
"Why would she lie?" Rana confused.
"What if this is all an act, and one day she turns around and stabs you in the back?" Nia asked again being caution for the kid.
"No way!" Rana refused to believe.
"Pyra wouldn't do that!" Rex defended the Red Aegis.
"Of course, I wouldn't! I don't even have a knife." Pyra said innocently.
"And a mother like me would know if she is lying or not." Cattleya stated.
"So serious… she, they're… Bwahaha!" Nia laughed.
"Did Rex-Rex broke her?" Tora asked.
"Poppi doesn't think that's the case." Poppi shook her head.
"I think it's more of what she sees in us." Agate guessed.
"An emerald Core Crystal is the sign of the Aegis, huh? Sure, why not, this could be interesting." Nia accepted the offer.
"Really?" Rex surprised.
"My lady?" Dromarch surprised as well.
"I kinda wanna see this Elysium for myself now. Maybe it really does exist." Nia wondered.
"It does." Rex said with a strong belief.
"An endless field of green among the clouds, eh?" Nia looked up at the sky. "(If the legends are true, even people like me…)" She thought maybe she'll finally find a place where she belongs in the world.
Nia walks up to the group with Dromarch right behind her, thus officially joining Rex and Rana's group much to their happiness.
(Later)
The group have settle down with a campfire they made to keep them warm at night, most of the group are asleep with only Pyra and Rex, Risty and Swan, and Cattleya.
"Ouch!" Rex winced.
"I'm sorry, did I wrap it too tightly." Pyra asked concern.
"It's fine! I'm fine, see? I can swing it like this, and it doesn't even" Rex groaned when his arm is starting to hurt again.
"Oh, Rex." Cattleya rolled her eyes, knowing how he is trying to put up this manly act for Pyra. Looks down at Rana sleeping on her lap.
"Thanks, I feel much better." Rex thanked Pyra.
"I'm sure that's Nia's poultice doing its job. Thanks." Pyra turned to Nia thanking her for the medicine. Nia response with a smirk and a peace sign.
Rex smiles back and notice that Pyra is about wrap some bandages on her right arm with a scratch that look just like his.
"Pyra, you're hurt too, are you okay?" Rex asked worry.
"I'm fine, it's just a scratch." Pyra assured.
"Hey, let me help." Rex offered he starts wrapping the bandages on her arm.
Pyra look at Rex's face seeing the gentle and strong young man he is as this reminds of her Adam of how he was back then, yet Rex got something more than Adam as she couldn't stop looking at him.
"Thank you, Rex." Pyra thanked.
"No worries, it's the least I can do." Rex said.
"Now that is very strange even though you're a Blade." Risty said getting their attention.
"Strange? What do you mean?" Rex asked.
"Of course, you wouldn't know because you're still new to being a Driver. You see, even when Blades take damage, their wounds are healed instantly through the flow of ether and continue fighting with their Driver." Risty explained.
"However, since Pyra sharded half her Core Crystal to you, her ability to heal has been limited to that of a human." Swan added.
"Oh, I never knew that." Rex amazed as he just finished wrapping the bandage on Pyra's arm.
"Pyra is a special kind of Blade. Normally, Blades can't do something like that, but she can and now you two share the same pain." Cattleya mentioned.
"Then I'll have to be extra careful from now on." Rex nodded.
Then the sparks from the campfire starts to flicker into the air like they are becoming stars and brightening around them as those who are still awake watch in awe of this.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Pyra asked.
"Yeah, it is. I guess that's probably because you made it, Pyra." Rex smiled which almost surprise Pyra, almost like he was telling her something romantic or something, and Rex realizes what he just said.
"No, what? I didn't it like that! You're just, em, really good at making fire. That's all." Rex pointed out, making Pyra smile.
"(Yep, those two are definitely in love.)" Cattleya squealed mentally.
"It's what I do." Pyra said as she snaps her fingers making a small fire and blow it to create more sparks in the air making it beautiful.
Rex is surprise and unknowingly took hold on Pyra's hand which she accepts it and leans her head on his shoulder.
"A Blade and a Driver together, in love. That sure would be nice." Cattleya sighed smiling at the sleeping Rana.
The large-sword Blade woman let out a yawn as it is time for her to sleep, she lay her back on the ground and pulls up Rana putting him on her huge boobs then her drifted to dreamland as Risty and Swan fell asleep too.
(With Jin and Malos)
Jin, Malos, and Sever have arrive to their secret base as they are still upset with the lost of the Aegis now being in the hands of a little kid and they have a pretty good idea of where they'll be going.
"Welcome back, Jin." A young man greeted.
"Hey, Akhos." Jin greeted back.
Akhos is a young man with fair skin, black hair and blue eyes. He wears red glasses and blue samurai-inspired armor in a similar fashion to Malos'.
"I hear the Aegis awakened. Nasty shock for you or was it… Of course, my script shoed how everything would play out from the start." Akhos bragged.
"Sure, you say that once it's all over done with." A woman said floating down from above.
This woman is a six-winged humanoid girl, almost completely covered in armor; of her body only her lower face and hips can be seen. Her armor is white with gold inlays, her boots are black, and her core crystal is circular. She has large black talons on both hands, and her helmet is smooth over her skull other than two large horns. Given her color scheme and arts names, her design is likely based around a moth. Breasts sizes: C-cup.
"It's easy to act smug when hindsight's on your side!" The Blade woman teased.
"Shut your mouth, Obrona!" Akhos offended from this.
"I'm shaking to my core." Obrona joked to her Driver's face and Akhos brush her off.
"Where are the others?" Malos asked.
"Mikhail's inspecting the Ardainian "factory" and my beloved sister is out hunting, as always. I'm sure she'll have found plenty of Drivers to chew up and spit out by now." Akhos answered.
"She likes to hunt, alright. Not sure we can use all of those Core Crystals though." Malos wondered what are they going to do with more.
"I'm sure we can find plenty of uses for them." A woman's voice said as a small slime stretches to Malos's butt in the form of a hand.
Without even looking, Malos grabs the slimy hand and pulls it away from his behind.
"Sheesh, are you ever going to stop?" Malos asked with a smirk.
"It's not my fault you have such a handsome butt, along with all of your parts as well." The woman giggled as the slimy hand slips out of Malos's hand.
"Nice to see you too, Melona." Malos greeted as the small pink slime grew showing her true appearance.
Melona is a humanoid type Blade with the figure of a well-endowed woman with a pink hue on her skin, a lithe physique and blue eyes with clover-shaped pupils. She has long pink hair that reaches past her shoulders, featuring a pair of bunny ears. She is scantily-clad, wearing only a very small pink transparent jacket that only covers her shoulders featuring eye-like pauldrons and a collar bound by a heart-shaped emblem with wings and a pink dress. She wears an equally revealing blouse of the same color and density and wears a pair of pink shoes with a pair of eyes. The bangs of her hair that frame her face form into a pair of hands that cover her otherwise fully exposed chest. Her Core Crystal is at the center of her chest, right above her breasts. Breasts sizes: GG-cup.
"I bet you're very mad that the Aegis got away from you." Melona cuddled onto Malos's body.
"Damn right, I am. When I get my hands on those kids, they'll regret the day they were born." Malos determined angry.
"And this time, I'm coming along to help because nobody upsets my Prince of Destruction and gets away with it." Melona smiled with the eyes of rage and kiss him on the lips as he kisses her back.
"Must they do that right now?" Akhos sighed.
"Get a room, you two!" Obrona yelled, but they ignore her.
"Do we know where the Aegis is right now?" Jin asked.
"Have no fear, Jin! Of course, we know her whereabouts!" Akhos grinned.
"Obrona?"
"Yeah, yeah." Obrona used her electric powers to create a map showing every single Core Crystals in the world, which is how Torna were able to find more Core Crystals in the past as she and Akohs serves as the information gathering for Torna and their analysis.
"Hmm, it seems they're currently traveling away from the urban area of Gormott." Akhos reported.
"Leaving the town? But there's nothing out that way." Malos said.
"Unless they plan on living in the jungle like wild people." Melona joked.
"Perhaps they're on their way out of Gormott itself." Akhos theorized and notices something else on the map.
"It seems a certain shipment has set out." Akhos pointed at.
"Most definitely the Core Crystals heading to Indol to be "cleanse" and whatever." Melona disgusted of that place.
"How pious of them." Malos said sarcastically.
"Shall we handle them?" Malos asked Jin.
"I can deal with that myself. You just concentrate on the Aegis." Jin said, looking at Akhos telling him to go too.
"Understood." Akhos nodded.
"Well, I am looking forward to clapping eyes on the Aegis." Akhos excited.
"No need to get all perverted, you already have Obrona." Melona teased.
"HEY! That was one time, one time!" Akhos growled.
"Yeah, and that only happened because you got is all drunk and stupid." Obrona added, angry as well.
"Sheesh, you're still mad about that? Obrona didn't get pregnant, so there's nothing to worry about." Melona shrugged.
"YOU WERE LUCKY THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN!" Akhos and Obrona yelled as their faces turn red of embarrassment.
"I'm pretty sure they would want that to happen." Melona whispered to Malos making him laugh a little.
Akhos quickly calm himself down and notices someone is missing from this picture.
"By the way, what of Nia?" Akhos asked.
"Yeah, where is that little kitty and her big white kitty. Are they dead?" Melona wondered about that as well.
"No, but I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing her again soon." Malos said.
"You know where she is?" Jin asked.
"Yes, look. This dot here, without a doubt, this is Dromarch's wavelength. It seems they're traveling together with the Aegis." Akhos informed.
"Oh, so they turned stray on us. I never liked them anyway, and now I can skin their furs into a nice new coat." Melona said with a sinister look in her eyes.
"Do as you see fit." Jin ordered.
"Understood, you don't need to ask me twice." Akhos nodded.
"Right then, we're gonna take the Monoceros." Malos said to Jin as he walks away.
"Hmm, as you wish." Jin granted.
"Hey!" Malos shouted a little, making Jin stop but not turning around.
"Don't do anything too reckless." Malos warned.
Jin silently nod and walks away heading for another ship to take for the cargo ship with the Core Crystals.
"(Malos isn't saying that because he might meet someone strong, but to warn Jin about his limit consider what he is more than a Blade and his condition.)" Melona thought knowing full-well of Jin's body.
Melona follows the others entering the large Titan ship to follow where the Aegis, Nia, and their friends are going.
"This is going to be very fun." Melona grinned.

Rex and the others have a relaxation night near the warm campfire and he seem to be getting closer with Pyra as they will realize how close their hearts really are to each other, and they aren't the only ones with blooming love interest. But they will have to be extra careful as Malos is out to get them again and this time with Akhos, Obrona, and his pinky lover Melona are coming to make the upcoming battle more difficult for our heroes.
