Cliffclan cats had awakened for the arrival of the leader's kits, Cliffstar the leader of Cliffclan was talking to the deputy Snakecoat, Cliffstar's silver pelt glowed in the light of the moon. Snakecoat meows," Who is the father of these kits?"

Cliffstar meows back, " it is Glowinghiss."

Snakecoat meowed " Oh ok! No wonder one of the kits has yellow fur."

Cliffstar leaped up on the small rocky hill and yowled " Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around the great rocky hill!"

All cats gathered around the hill for the naming ceremony for the kits. Cliffstar pushed a silver kit with yellow stripes up towards the crowd of cats, Cliffstar meowed " may starclan look upon these kits and except their names, this kit will now be known as Yellowkit,"

She pushed up a silver kit and continued, " This kit will now be known as Silverkit."

The last kit was pushed forwards, she was like a yellow tiger. Cliffstar meowed " This kit will now be known as Goldenkit."

The cats cheered for the new kits and Cliffstar went to the nursery, two of the elders with the names Whitestream and Fawnheart were talking about the kits. Whitestream meowed " What do you think about the new kits names?"

Fawnheart meowed, " I like them a lot."

Mintberry the blue medicine cat walked past the elder's den and to the nursery. Mintberry meowed " Cliffstar, I have gotten a message from Starclan."

Cliffstar stood up away from her kits and meowed " What did they say?"

Mintberry meowed " I saw a gold flame with a poppy coming out of the flames."

Cliffstar meowed " What does it mean?"

Mintberry meowed " I'm not sure yet, but it may have something to do with Goldenkit."

Cliffstar looked back at her kits and meowed " But what does the poppy and flame mean?"

Mintberry meowed, " I'm not sure yet."

Cliffstar meowed " Oh ok! I will keep an eye on Goldenkit just to make sure nothing bad happens."

Gingerfeather and Glowinghiss walked into the nursery to congratulate Cliffstar and Glowinghiss wanted to see his kits. Glowinghiss meowed " How are me and your kits?"

Cliffstar meowed " They are doing well."

Gingerfeather meowed " Very nice, so when is the next patrol around Palmclan?"

Cliffstar meowed, " It will be at noon."

Gingerfeather meowed "Ok, come on Glowinghiss."

Glowinghiss meowed " I want to spend some time with my kits first."

Gingerfeather hissed " I said come on."

Glowinghiss looked at his kits and back at her and meowed " But I want to see my kits."

Gingerfeather growled " Your kits are just mousebrains rather than me so come on."

Glowinghiss meowed " Ok."

Cliffstar hissed " Gingerfeather, you are the only mousebrain here, now leave my mate alone."

Gingerfeather unsheathed her claws and growled " You stay out of this Cliffstar, this is between me and Glowinghiss."

Cliffstar growled " And Glowinghiss is my mate, Now back off."

Gingerfeather leaped in front of her and lashed her tail. Glowinghiss looked at her and Cliffstar frantically. Glowinghiss pounced on Gingerfeather and hissed " Stay away from my mate and kits!"

Gingerfeather pushed Glowinghiss off her. Cliffstar leaped off her moss bed and growled " Leave now, and never come back into Cliffclan territory again."

Gingerfeather looked around frantically. Gingerfeather hissed " If you lose a warrior you lose a kit!"

Gingerfeather picked up Yellowkit as quickly as possible and hissed " Back up or your kit joins Starclan!"

Spidercloud leaped at Gingerfeather and hissed " What do you think you are doing!"

The black cat's fur prickled in anger as Gingerfeather looked up at him in fear. Spidercloud dragged Gingerfeather to the great rocky hill with Cliffstar following, Cliffstar hissed out to all the cats " We have a traitor in our clan who will be kicked out!"

Cats ran to the great rocky hill and looked up curiously. Lavenderthroat meowed " Hey isn't that Gingerfeather!"

Cliffstar meowed " Gingerfeather is now a rogue rather than a warrior of Cliffclan, she will now, if she is still in the territory by noon she will be killed with no mercy."

All cats cheered, Gingerfeather meows softly into Glowinghiss's ear, " You won't leave me will you?"

Glowinghiss looked at her in anger, but then Gingerfeather's sweet smell entered his nose, it was like he had been hypnotized by her. He hissed " If Gingerfeather is leaving, so am I!"

Cliffstar hissed " Then leave, I was a fool to be your mate!"

The cats cheered as Gingerfeather and Glowinghiss left Cliffclan camp. Cliffstar went back to the nursery to stay with her kits again. Hornetfoot went into the nursery and meowed " Hey Cliffstar! How are you and your kits?"

Cliffstar meowed " I am good, so are my kits."

Hornetfoot meowed " I can't wait until my kits are born, then our kits can play together all the time!"

Cliffstar meowed, " I am excited as well."

Hornetfoot sat next to Cliffstar for a bit just talking as usual, Mintberry walked into the nursery and meowed " Hornetfoot, come to the medicine den."

Hornetfoot meowed " Alright, bye Cliffstar."

Cliffstar sat down and fell asleep next to her kits. The next day began,Cliffstar got up to go find Hornetfoot and check up on her. Cliffstar went into the medicine den and found Hornetfoot sitting with her kits. Cliffstar meowed " What are you going to name your kits Hornetfoot?"

Hornetfoot licked a cream colored she-cat kit that looked much like her, Hornetfoot meowed

" This will be Beekit."

She looked at a white kit and meowed " This will be Swankit."

She picked up a kit with black fur and creamish white spots looking much like the father, Spidercloud. Hornetfoot meowed, " And this is Poppykit." Cliffstar meowed, " Beautiful names, I will get the ceremony set up now."

Cliffstar thought to herself, " Poppykit? Is that the poppy? If Goldenkit is the gold and Poppykit is the poppy, what is the flame?"

Cliffstar started the ceremony and ended it around midnight, she went back to her kits questioning herself what is to come of this prophecy.
