Chapter 13: Clone Squad
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. Glad to see you all enjoyed my last chapter. Needless to say things are about to get really intense down the line with this chapter and I think you'll like who I put in. Please Review and Enjoy.
We find ourselves in a large training room as Obi-Wan and Shun stood across from each other with their lightsabers activated.
"Alright Shun, now that you're getting the hang of Lightsaber combat it's time you learned to master the other forms." Obi-Wan said.
"How many are there?" Shun asks.
"In total there are 7 Lightsaber forms. Right now you've only learned Form 1 the most basic form. Now it's time to branch out and learn other forms." Obi-Wan said.
"Do I have to master all of them?" Shun asks.
"No, a Jedi is allowed to try them but if they choose to master one form it is allowed." Obi-Wan said.
"Which form do you tend to favor Master?" Shun asks.
"I choose to favor Form 3. This one is dedicated to defense. Which has allowed me to survive the constant battles of this war. Allow to me to demonstrate." Obi-Wan said as a few training droids show up.
Circling around Shun watches them fire at Obi-Wan but he managed to block them all with ease.
"By choosing to focus on defense I can make focus on my opponent's movements and counter them." Obi-Wan said.
"Maybe with droid fire, but what if you're battling another lightsaber user?" Shun asks.
Taking a stance, Obi-Wan turned to him. "Why don't you find out?"
Swinging his lightsaber, Shun attacks but Obi-Wan is able to block them all.
Jumping back, Shun moves in only for Obi-Wan to sidestep and knee the lightsaber out of Shun's hand before catching it and pointing both at his neck.
"By utilizing this form, not only am I able to block all your attacks I can prolong the battle forcing my opponent to slip up giving me the perfect opening to counter." Obi-Wan explains before giving Shun back his lightsaber.
"Wow, pretty handy form." Shun said.
"Yes and it's very useful against enemies who try to use fast and quick attacks." Obi-Wan said.
"Like Master Yoda." Shun recalls remembering how fast he was.
"Exactly. Master Yoda is a master of form 4. Which focuses on speed. In fact, Ahsoka also has hints of form 4 in her style." Obi-Wan said.
"Wow, I have a lot to learn." Shun said.
"You'll get there." Obi-Wan assures when he receives a message. "What is it, Cody?"
"General Kenobi, you're needed on the command deck. We are about to be briefed on the mission." Cody said.
"We'll be right there." Obi-Wan said retracting his lightsaber. "Alright Shun time to go to work."
"Let's do this." Shun nods ready for this.
Up on the command deck, Shun and Obi-Wan were standing with holograms of Master Windu, Yoda and Plo Koon.
"We've discovered a large droid factory on the planet Muunilist. We suspect Dooku has been using it to create his army for a large duration of the Clone Wars." Plo Koon said showing images of the factory.
"Now the factory itself is under heavy protection so getting to it has been next to impossible. However, our latest reconnaissance discovered a small passage from the outskirts of the city that leads right to the factory and under the shields." Mace points.
"Hmm it's not big enough for an entire platoon." Obi-Wan noticed.
"Correct, divide and conquer you must." Yoda said.
"Master Kenobi you and your platoon will lead the charge on the factory while your Padawan and a smaller team sneak into the factory and sets multiple charges to destroy it from the inside." Plo Koon explains.
"Wait? My team? I'm getting my own squad of clones?" Shun asks excited.
"Yes, lucky for you this recent clone group was reassigned. Clone Force 99." Obi-Wan said causing some of the clones to chuckle.
"Oh man talk about unlucky." One said.
"Kid got the Bad Batch." Another clone chuckles.
"The Bad Batch?" Shun asks confused.
"That's what they're called. These clones are a little different from the rest of us." Cody explains.
"Good luck on both your ends." Mace said.
"May the force be with you." Yoda said as they disconnected.
Making their way to the hangers, Shun and Obi-Wan looked to Cody.
"Clone Force 99? I've heard that name before. They've been given very mixed reactions." Obi-Wan said.
"Clone Force 99 has been shuffled between various Jedi. While their success rate is very high it's how they win that leads to them clashing with their previous squads." Cody explains.
"So why did all the other clones laugh at the mention of them?" Shun asks.
"They're defective clones with uh…desirable mutations." Cody cringed at the last part.
"Mutations?" Shun said not liking the sound of that.
"Shun, I want you to try and get along with these clones. I don't want a repeat of Pantora's Moon." Obi-Wan said.
"Hey that chairman was an idiot." Shun said as Obi-Wan glares. "Alright, alright I'll try." Shun crosses his arms.
Entering the hanger they look to see an Omicron Class attack shuttle fly in.
Landing down it opens revealing 4 clones in black and red armor.
In the back a large muscular clone took off his helmet revealing him to have a shaved head and only one good eye. "The cavalry has arrived!" He declared.
From his back BD-1 pops his head up and beeped surprised.
"Yeah, buddy apparently these guys are our new teammates." Shun said as they approached them.
"Sergeant Hunter?" Obi-Wan asks as one took off his helmet revealing a red headband around his head but half his face darker than the other half.
"That be me sir." Hunter said as he and the other clones walked towards him.
Taking off their helmets we see one clone was a little smaller and had goggles over his eyes, while the other one had a shaved head, a bullseye design around his right eye and a toothpick in his mouth.
"Sorry we're a little late general. Had a few problems to take care of." Hunter said.
"Quite alright. Is this everyone?" Obi-Wan asks.
"Yes sir, the big guy here is Wrecker. He's got more muscle than anyone most droids and even some beasts." Hunter said as Wrecker grins.
"I can break a clanker with one punch." Wrecker said.
"This is Tech, he's the genius of our group and can fill your head with useless junk for hours." Hunter said.
"What about him?" Shun asks looking to the last one.
"That's Crosshair, he's not much of a talker but when you have to hit a precise target from over 10 clicks away Crosshair is your guy." Hunter said.
"Well you certainly appear to be a capable group." Obi-Wan said.
"Ready to fight sir." Hunter said.
"Uhm he's not the Jedi you're going with." Cody said getting their attention.
"Huh?" All four said as Obi-Wan gestures to Shun.
"You've got to be kidding." Crosshair said.
"We've been assigned to the Padawan?" Tech asks in disbelief.
"Uh I'm right here." Shun narrows his eyes.
"Guys, just deal with it. We were given orders and if he's the Jedi we're assigned to we have to deal with it." Hunter said.
"For now." Crosshair glares.
"Why don't I brief them on the situation." Cody said leading them away.
"Really like my new squad master." Shun said sarcastically.
"Okay so they're rough around the edges." Obi-Wan said.
"Did you see the way they looked at me? I bet they wanted to just get in their ship and fly away." Shun said as BD beeps in agreement.
"Shun you have to understand, this clone force has been shuffled around the Jedi Knights so many times of course they'd be insulted to be paired with a Padawan." Obi-Wan said.
"No other options huh?" Shun asks.
"Nope you're stuck with them." Obi-Wan said causing him to sigh.
"Might as well try to be friends with them." Shun said.
'Wait, friends?' Obi-Wan thought as Shun walked away.
"Good luck Master. Hopefully, I'll see you after we succeed." Shun said as he and BD wave goodbye.
"Does he not know?" Obi-Wan asks curious.
Eventually arriving at Muunilist, Obi-Wan and Commander Cody ready themselves as they see the factory just across from them.
"Any sign of Shun and his squad?" Obi-Wan asks as Cody noticed the Bad Batch's ship arrive at the supposed tunnel site.
"In position sir. It's up to them." Cody said.
"Well we better hold up our end of it." Obi-Wan said standing up.
"Men on my mark. Ready…" Obi-Wan said as the clones readied themselves. "Fire!"
Firing artillery from the tanks it rained down hitting multiple parts of the factory.
"Red alert! We are under attack!" A droid said.
"Defensive positions!" Another droid said.
As all the available droids were dispatched a large muscular figure in a suit of armor was looking down at the battle.
Dooku had hired him to guard the factory and deal with all intruders. Needless to say he planned on living up to it.
Meanwhile in the tunnels, Shun and the Bad Batch was walking through it.
Looking at the four of them there was an uncomfortable silence.
"So uh…my master you guys have never failed a mission yet." Shun said trying to break it.
"Yes and we don't plan on losing that streak, so you better pull you wait." Crosshair said.
"Crosshair." Hunter said looking in his direction.
"While we succeed our methods are a little different than most clones tend to favor." Tech explains.
"And sadly not many Jedi are keen to work with clones who often break formation to do their own thing." Wrecker said.
"You guys aren't like the other clones." Shun said.
"What gave it away?" Hunter asks sarcastically.
"Well believe it or not I'm not like most Jedi." Shun said.
"Oh yeah, how's that?" Hunter asks when they came to a narrow corridor.
"Wow good thing I didn't bring Haya with us." Shun said.
"Haya?" Tech asks.
"My Varractyl. Told ya I was different." Shun chuckles.
"A varractyl? Oh man I have always wanted to fight one of those." Wrecker chuckles.
"Fight?" Shun pauses.
Popping their heads out the bottom hatch they saw a few droids standing guard around the area.
"Okay guys, we need to be careful. First things we gotta get past those droids. We need to—" Before Shun could even finish Crosshair took out his rifle and shot multiple times taking out all the droids with ease.
"You were saying." Crosshair asks as they climbed out.
"Is this why you guys aren't popular? You just dive in and do your own thing?" Shun asks.
"We don't like sneaking around and waiting for the enemy. That's not our style." Hunter said
"Yes, but to make sure it works I need a map." Tech said when he noticed BD-1 attached to Shun's glider. "A BD unit? May I?"
"Uh sure." Hopping off Shun's back, BD climbs onto Tech's arm.
"Hmm." Tapping a device on his wrist Tech tapped into something. "Aha! This was droid was at your meeting with the Jedi." Pressing a button Tech showed the map of the factory from BD's memory.
"Did you just hack my droid?" Shun asks.
"Not it's entire memory. I was just looking for any information on the mission." Tech said before transferring the map to his device snapping BD out of it.
Shaking its head, BD chirps annoyed stomping its foot at him.
"Relax I didn't read anything else." Tech said.
"I'm starting to see why you're the called the Bad Batch." Shun said.
"Hey if you want clones who always follow orders go find some regs." Crosshair said.
"Regs?" Shun asks.
"Regular clones." Hunter clarifies.
"Alright, looks like we have to fight our way in to get close enough to this area to set the charges." Shun points.
"And now doubt full of clankers." Hunter adds.
"Sounds like fun." Wrecker grins.
"Then we better get moving." Shun said.
"Uh if I may, do you mind if I hold onto your droid for a little longer? I could use it's help." Tech said.
"Depends are you gonna hack him again?" Shun asks.
"Not this time." Tech said.
Moving out, the 5 of them ran into the factory little did they know the armored man saw all of them on the security cameras.
Running down the hall, they suddenly heard the sound of clanking droids coming closer.
"Sounds like they know we're here." Hunter said as they all drew their weapons.
"Intruders spotted!" Looking down the opposite end they saw a ton of battle droids firing at them.
"Look out!" Shun said as jumped back.
"Oh yeah first clankers of the mission!" Wrecker said handing Hunter his blaster. "Hold this for me."
"What's he doing?" Shun asks.
"Just watch." Hunter said.
Sprinting down the hall, Wrecker rams into a droid and keeps charging forward using the droids he hits as shields giving them a clear opening to the end.
"Oh yeah! Top that Crosshair!" Wrecker laughs.
"Whoa, you guys are nuts." Shun said when more came down the opposite end.
"Just getting started." Hunter holds up both blasters and fired taking out multiple droids.
Drawing his knife Hunter charges in with Tech and Crosshair covering him.
The droids tried to shoot him down but Crosshair shot their blasters out of their hands allowing Hunter and Wrecker to rip them apart.
Running to the main room they saw some Heavy Battle Droids lined up blocking their path.
"Uh oh." Wrecker said.
"Look out!" Slamming his foot down, Shun created a giant rock pillar wall in front of them to protect them from fire surprising the clones.
"What in the?!" Wrecker said looking to Shun.
"What is that?" Tech said lifting up his goggles impressed.
Thrusting his hands forward the pillars shot out of the ground and pierced the droids causing them to explode.
"Never seen a Jedi do that before." Hunter said impressed.
Leaping up Shun draws his lightsaber and with one hand blocks the attacks in the other hand releases a blast of air sending the droids smashing into the walls.
"Alright, listen up. They know we're here so no point in hiding. So listen up, I have an idea that might work for all of us." Shun said.
"What kind of plan?" Tech asks.
"The kind that allows you guys to smash everything you want." Shun said getting their attention.
"We're listening." Hunter said.
Soon they had split into two groups, Tech and Crosshair were making their ways to the lower areas with BD-1 on Tech's shoulder.
As multiple droids fired at them Tech aimed his two pistols and fired taking them out while Crosshair took them out with his rifle.
Looking around Crosshair noticed some machines assembling droids.
"Hmm, shame to let this go to waste." Aiming his rifle he fired at the assembly line above them causing it to fall crashing down on all the newly assembled droids.
Arriving at the door to the generators Tech comes to a stop.
"Crosshair, cover me." Tech asid as he turned to BD-1. "Alright little droid, get us into these rooms."
Hopping off his shoulder, BD begins hacking the door causing it to unlock revealing the droid factory generator.
"BD units, the ideal droid companions for operations in dangerous parts of the galaxy." Tech said.
Looking to Tech, BD chirps saying no way he's sticking with Shun.
"Alright, alright. Calm down." Tech said as he and Crosshair entered the room.
"Got the charges right here." Opening his bag, Crosshair reveals all the explosives.
On the other side of the factory, Wrecker was charging through the droid fire before delivering a double lariat taking out two droids.
"Oh yeah I love this plan!" Wrecker said as Hunter hands him back his blaster.
"Cover us, we're heading in." Hunter said.
"If droids show up rip them apart." Shun said.
"You got it." Wrecker grins.
Making their way to the tanks, Shun and Hunter planted explosives on all of them.
"Alright, if Crosshair and Tech held up their end all you'll need to do is press this and the whole factory will light up." Hunter said taking out the detonator switch.
"Then we better make sure this last one is set." Shun said taking the switch.
"It's you." Hunter realized looking at him. "The Jedi with the unusual abilities."
"Huh?" Shun said.
"Word around the clones was a new Jedi was brought in, one with many different powers. It's you huh?" Hunter asks.
"Yeah it's me. I wasn't raised in the temple like the other Jedi. I've only been a Jedi for not even half a year. I'm not like the others, and they look at me like-like…" Shun starts.
"Like you have no right to stand among them?" Hunter finishes surprising him. "Do you know why we're called the Bad Batch? There's a clone on Kamino, Clone 99 and like us he's a defective clone but he never got a chance unlike us. We fight to prove ourselvesI guess you stand for the same thing among the Jedi."
"Yeah I guess I do." Shun said.
They ran to the final area when suddenly the armored man jumps through the upper floor and crashes down in front of them.
"Look out!" Shun said as he swung a large black lance at them knocking them back.
"I don't believe it? They hired Durge or all people?" Hunter groans.
"You know him?" Shun asks.
"Not exactly. I hear things. He's a Bounty Hunter and a dangerous one. No wonder the droids have been on top of us." Hunter growls.
"You go get everything set. I'll handle him." Shun said tossing Hunter the bag.
"You sure?" Hunter asks.
"Go, that's an order soldier." Shun declares.
"Yes sir." Hunter nods running off to set the last charges.
Metalbending his bracelets, Shun turns them into blades.
As Shun and Durge stared each other down, Durge charges in and swings his lance.
Using his Earthbending Shun races out of the way before slamming rocks into Durge making him skid back.
Swinging his blades, Shun slices Durge's lance in half.
Thrusting his arms forward, Shun releases a gust of air but Durge holds out his arms as two energy shields lessen the blow allowing him to stand strong.
Switching to firebending, Shun fires multiple flames but Dirge blocked them all.
Moving in Durge nails Shun with a fierce right hook sending him tumbling back.
Drawing his lightsaber, Shun lunges in and pierces Durge through the chest.
"Sorry it had to come to this." Shun apologizes when he suddenly heard Durge begin to laugh.
Eyes widening Shun was then punched in the face as Durge pulls the lightsaber out of his gut.
Holding out his arms, Durge fires multiple bullets.
Acting quickly Shun slams his hand down causing a metal pillar to shoot out and deflect the attacks.
Switching weapons, Durge aims a flamethrower and fires.
Using his fire bending Shun parts the flames surprising Durge.
Suddenly a knife flew in and stabbed Durge in the back making him scream in pain.
"Hey ugly!" Turning around they saw Hunter leap in and kick Durge in the head knocking him to the ground.
Yanking his knife out, Hunter leaps down towards Shun's side.
"You want him you're gonna have to go through me!" Hunter declares.
"Hunter? I gave you an order." Shun said as Hunter helps him up.
"You did, but I finished my mission sir. You can't order me around now." Hunter smirks causing Shun to smile back.
"Any ideas on how to beat this thing?" Shun asks.
"He's not immortal, but we're gonna have to hit him hard to bring him down." Hunter said as Durge got back up.
"Fine by me." Shun said taking a stance. "Need a lift?"
"Gladly." Hunter nods.
Using his earthbending Shun launched Hunter into the air over Durge.
Drawing his blaster, Hunter fires hitting Durge multiple times in the chest.
Shooting his arm out, Durge grabs Hunter and throws him into the wall.
Taking out a rod it transforms into a spiked flail.
Using the Force, Shun yanks his lightsaber back into his hands and slashes Durge away.
Going on the attack Durge swings his weapon at Shun who blocks it.
Getting up Hunter shakes off the pain and sees Shun and Durge fighting right over a large pipe.
"Shun out of the way!" Hunter yells aiming his blaster at the pipe.
Firing a shot, Shun leaps out of the way as it comes crashing down on Durge flattening him into a pancake.
"There's no way it could have survived that." Shun groans as Hunter helps him up.
"Well, let's not get our hopes up just yet." Hunter said when a large veiny arm shot out of the pipe.
Looking in horror Shun and Hunter saw Durge emerge from the wreckage but his armor had mostly been discarded except for his helmet revealing pink and purple vein-like muscles for a body.
"Oh come on!" Shun and Hunter whined as Durge went on the attack.
Down below, Tech held BD-1 up to the machine while Crosshair covered him.
"Alright little fella get us in." Tech said as BD hacked the lock.
Chirping BD unlocked the door to the main generator.
"Good work." Tech said as they laid multiple charges around the machine. "Alright now when the factory is destroyed the Separatists won't even be able to salvage anything from this place."
"Well then we better get the others and get out before it does come down." Crosshair said.
Hoping off the machine, BD led them back out before more droids showed up.
On the battlefield, the clones were firing at the marching droids as they got closer and closer.
"Sir, we're being pushed back!" Cody said.
"Hold your ground, commander! We can't stop now!" Obi-Wan said deflecting shots with his lightsaber. "Come on Shun."
Back upstairs, Shun and Hunter were doing their best to avoid Durge's attacks.
Firing blaster shots and firebending both tried to overwhelm him but Durge repelled both of them sending them crashing to the ground.
Groaning Shun gets up to see Durge coming towards him.
Leaping at him, Shun tried to fight him off but Durge sucked Shun into his body.
"Shun!" Hunter screams in horror.
Durge then turned to Hunter ready to finish him off when suddenly his body started to blow up like a balloon before Shun blasted a hole in his stomach allowing him to escape.
"Hunter detonator!" Shun yells.
Taking one out, Hunter throws it to Shun who drops it into Durge's body before it closed.
Durge tries to get it out but it explodes sending masses of purple and pink goo everywhere.
"Well that was gross." Hunter cringed.
"Tell me about it, I was inside that thing." Shun shivers before adjusting himself. "Thanks for the help Hunter."
"Well I wasn't about to let the first Jedi I've ever liked die on us." Hunter chuckles as they ran down the hall. "Come on Tech, Crosshair and BD-1 should be finished setting the charges."
As they ran out they saw tons of droid parts scattered everywhere.
"Wait where's Wrecker?" Shun asks when they saw Wrecker near the entrance as he rips some droids in half.
"Oh yeah I have got to be in the lead now." Wrecker said when Tech and Crosshair ran in to meet up with them.
As droids came down the hall, Crosshair tossed various devices all over the wall.
"Did you miss me?" Crosshair asks aiming his rifle.
Firing his shot, it ricochets off the walls taking out all the attacking droids with one shot.
"No way." Wrecker whines taking his helmet off.
"Whoa, that was pretty impressive." Shun said as BD beeped in agreement.
"Relax Wrecker, you'll top him next time." Hunter assures.
"No you won't." Crosshair said as they made their escape.
Making their way to the ship, they looked to see Obi-Wan's group fighting off all the droids.
"Boy they certainly had their hands full." Tech said.
"Hey Wrecker you wanna do the honors?" Shun said holding out the detonator causing him to gasp.
"Seriously? I get to blow it up? The whole stinking thing?" Wrecker smiles.
"All yours big guy." Shun said handing it to him.
"This is the happiest day of my life." Wrecker sniffles pressing the button causing the entire factory to blow to smithereens.
"Mission complete." Shun smiles.
"Good work soldiers." Hunter smiles.
On the battlefield, Obi-Wan was slashing away battle droids when suddenly all of them began to power down and collapse.
"Sir, the factory has been destroyed. Padawan Namikaze and Clone Force 99 are returning." Cody said.
"Good work Shun." Obi-Wan smiles seeing their plan was a success.
Leaving the planet, Shun and the Bad Batch were laughing as they approached the upper deck.
"That explosion was amazing!" Wrecker smiles.
"Glad you had fun Wrecker." Shun smiles.
Beeping BD jumped up excited.
"Yes I agree. I didn't this one as much as previous ones." Tech said.
"Hey uh guys listen. I know neither of us liked the idea of working together at first, but well look at us. The 5 of us managed to take down a whole factory." Shun said when BD beeps getting his attention. "Sorry the 6 of us. The point is, I think we could make a pretty good team. If you guys join me I'll let you guys go nuts on the battlefield." Shun said getting their attention.
"Anything?" Hunter asks.
"Go nuts, as long as it leads to us accomplishing our mission." Shun said
"You know Shun, I'll admit it. I think we're gonna like working with you." Hunter smiles.
"Really? Even you Crosshair?" Shun asks.
"You're slightly more tolerable than the previous Jedi we've been assigned to, but not much." Crosshair said.
"So you guys are fine sticking around with me?" Shun asks as Wrecker wraps his arm around Shun's neck.
"Oh yeah, I especially want to meet this Varacctyl of yours. Maybe go a few rounds." Wrecker laughs.
"Shun!" Looking down the hall, Shun saw Obi-Wan waiting for him. "A word?"
"Yeah. Guys go get some chow you earned it." Shun suggests.
"We'll save you a seat." Hunter said as they walked away leaving Shun alone with his master.
"You and the Bad Batch did well for your first mission." Obi-Wan said.
"Thanks Master, that form 3 really helped me beat that Durge guy." Shun said.
"Glad to see you listen, but I couldn't help but notice you were getting awfully attached to your new team." Obi-Wan said.
"Yeah, they seem cool." Shun said and instantly Obi-Wan cringed.
"Master Tapal never told you, did he?" Obi-Wan asks.
"Tell me what?" Shun asks confused.
"Shun when you're a Jedi you serve as a guardian of peace and justice throughout the galaxy." Obi-Wan said.
"I know that, Master Tapal told me that part." Shun said.
"But what he didn't tell you was that in order for a Jedi to focus on the greater concerns a Jedi cannot form attachments. Attachment and possession are forbidden." Obi-Wan said shocking him.
"What? So wait say I wanted to meet a girl, get married or even have a family someday?" Shun asks.
"Not allowed." Obi-Wan sighs
"I can't even have friends?" Shun asks as Obi-Wan shook his head. "After all I went through with those guys? I can't even be friends with them?"
"I'm sorry." Obi-Wan said.
"What? But why? Why would they make such an awful rule?" Shun asks.
"Emotional attachments can lead to many things: jealously, fear of loss, and eventually lead you to be corrupted by the dark side of the force. For that reason a Jedi can never form attachments. I'm sorry Shun." Obi-Wan said.
"B-But…that's total bullcrap!" Shun snaps surprising his master. "You're saying I can't ever get close to anyone because of what it might lead to? What about the good things that attachments can bring you? They only brought up the bad stuff, did they even consider the rest?!"
"I'm sorry Shun but that's the way it is." Obi-Wan said.
"No! Alright no that's not fair!" Shun said.
"I know, but a Jedi must always put his emotions aside for the greater good." Obi-Wan said.
"So that's why no Jedi wanted to get close to me or hangout? You all beat the thought into their heads that we're higher beings unable to be happy, have fun or even get close to anyone but I bet even you have people in your life you consider close." Shun points.
"Well…sort of." Obi-Wan said.
"Aha! Even you admit that this rule is garbage!" Shun said.
"Whether I admit it or not is not the problem Shun what matters is that I follow the Jedi Code and so do you." Obi-Wan said.
Shun couldn't believe his ears. They were forcing him to push everyone away and act like someone who is above having basic emotions, never be happy or fall in love for fear of the worst.
"But…I-I don't want to give up my attachments." Shun said.
Frowning Obi-Wan puts his hand on Shun's shoulder.
"I'm sorry Shun, but that's the rules. We may not like it but we follow it." Obi-Wan said.
Breaking out his hold, Shun runs down the hall with a sad angry look on his face.
"Shun." Letting out a sigh, Obi-Wan turns around deciding to leave Shun to deal with this on his own. "Trust me, I know how you feel. It hurts having to push away those you love. Somedays I wonder if I made the right choice." Walking away Obi-Wan thought about a certain woman who meant a lot to him.
