Isle Delfino has a tropically weird problem regarding fruit. Their durians can be kicked about even by the gentlest touch. But it's not just them - watermelons can be pushed to great lengths even from a gentle blow, and giving how big they were, it provided a problem.

...Which is why Mario was devastated to see that there were more giant green watermelons once again on the sandy Gelato Beach.

"You have got to be kidding-a me," Mario grumbled as he had his arms crossed together.

F.L.U.D.D. was on his back, doing her best to comfort Mario. "Don't feel bad, Mario. We did this mission, and we can conquer it again!"

"Oh... I don't know..." Mario mumbled as he placed his right hand on his forehead. "I'm having a headache just from thinking about it..."

Before Mario could think, he was rolled over by a giant watermelon, groaning in pain as he and F.L.U.D.D. were flattened like pancakes. The blue colored Cataquacks laughed at Mario's plight as one of them flipped the flattened plumber into the air, much to his dismay.

"Mamma mia..." Mario groaned as he coughed, his entire body flat as he slowly fell back to the earth, only to be flipped into the air again. "Oh... why-a me...?"

Racing around the Peach Beach was proving to be a good idea in practice as Dry Bowser was riding solo on his Piranha Prowler vehicle, while Toadette and Petey Piranha rode together using the mutant plant's Piranha Pipes kart, with the two heavyweight plant themed vehicles being green.

"I must say, this whole two people per kart thing looks interesting." Dry Bowser said while the racers drifted on the sandy beach around the annoying flipping Cataquacks. "...Seems as though it's more unique than the normal races held..."

"Well this is how I was introduced to the grand prix!" Toadette giggled as she waved at a mad green Cataquack as she let out a bubbly fart. "So I kind of have a soft spot for doing this often, isn't that right plant buddy?"

Petey mumbled in agreement.

"Delfino is too bright."

"Why are you complaining about a tropical island being so sunny?" Toadsworth commented as he was grooming his mustache.

"Because it hurts my eyes."

Toadsworth huffed as he tapped his cane on the floor. "Well maybe you should should invest in getting sunglasses."

"But I don't want to wear headgear!"

Toadsworth smacked it on the head. "It's not to put on your head, stupid!"

"But isn't your head where your eyes are?"

"Why are we even haing this conversation again..."
