A\N: Part one and two of this chapter have now combined into one making it a pretty big chapter but I hope it has turned out into a much greater one too now that it's updated of any errors.

Halloween. One of the best sugary and costume related holidays had come to an end for Yamcha and Puar and even though they have ended up doing something far more memorable than watching some classic horror movies with laughable special effects and jumpscares for the occasion, it was now time to take off the holiday spirit of costumes and candies, starting a new day. After the events from the previous Challenge, Melvin asked Yamcha if the latter was learning new moves by any chance since some of the ones he saw him perform weren't on his set of skills from any previous reward. The former bandit told him that after his training on the Time Chamber and the use of Thinking Cap, he had felt more motivated and coming up with ideas on what to do with his sword and applying it, after all, he could just stay still waiting for him.
He even started to come up with his own training routine, rather than complaining about how he doesn't know what training would even help him at this point since he didn't have a gravity chamber, or ask to use the time chamber again, I mean who even wants to age one more year? Dende was too much of a niece guardian and he didn't want to abuse that. It wasn't much at first look but it was quite solid and well balanced to do while Melvin didn't show up with his challenges, gotta stay sharp. First, there was a two-hour training for Hand toughening with a variety of materials he managed to get and fill in buckets, to start until going to the next once used, it was a great exercise for bone hardening and strengthening the knuckle as the different motions of hands were utilized when doing so.

After that one, there would be a series of leg exercises where he would only be able to use nothing besides his legs to do said activities, and using weights to increase difficulty. Some Ankle weights were provided for him by Melvin since it wasn't much.

Standart Meditation- Two hours.
Image Training- Three Hours.
By waking up five in the morning and doing all these exercises every day and increasing its difficulty, would strengthen his body and mind up until the next time Melvin would come. How long has it been? A day, a week a month, who knows? The weather that morning was now starting to get colder, but quite refreshing for those who don't like too much heat. The blue cat was inside taking care of the mysterious egg with all the love and kindness he was able to muster, it was his responsibility, and Puar took it seriously.
Outside the house was Yamcha who just finished his training and had relaxed for some time. But then he got the need to try something rather than laze around. Eyes closed and letting the chilly breeze go through his body, slowly breathing in and out before suddenly his eyes were shot open and the former bandit started to swing at high speed in what seemed to be a pair of Nunchucks. Not the wooden type, no, those were made of metal! And they were moving so fast it was nothing but blurs, how many people would already have hit themselves in the face or worse by now. That shows how amazing his eye-hand coordination was, for handling it was not an easy feat without hurting your body a few times. With one last swing, he crashed the metal part hard on the first random tree he saw, leaving a nasty mark.
"This thing is quite fun to swing around, good practice too"
"Yeah, maybe you're gonna be the next Bruce Lee, who knows? I never got how some people thought they could use it but end up hitting their crotches" Melvin said, teleporting there.
"Gah!" Yamcha in surprise swings his Nunchaku at him but thankfully Melvin just ducks away from it saving himself the hit in the face that would so comically come to others "Knock it off already, coming from thin air like that is not funny, like...at all!" The former bandit warns him.
"Would you rather I show up in unique ways? Cmon, I'm too lazy to ponder about that" Melvin pokes Yamcha on the shoulder.
He sighs, knowing that Melvin simply enjoys showing up like that "You came a bit sooner now, I thought it would take a few months" Yamcha asks.
"Sometimes I like going around doing my own thing and being mysterious, but I do enjoy our little encounters, but I wanted to ask you something" Melvin seemed eager.
"I hope is not anything that hurt my organs"
"You still holding a grudge on that paper thing? Get over it" He rolls his eyes.
"Fine then, what is it that you need to talk about?" Yamcha said, paying attention.
"Wanna tussle?"
Yamcha stares at Melvin with a look of surprise, what he said was just so sudden and not really what was expected. The chill and supposedly fallen angel could have asked for another challenge or if they were taking care of the egg, but was he asking for a fight?
"I thought it was time you and I had a little sparring to see how you're doing, but if you're feeling a bit under the weather maybe you should pass" Melvin gave off a smug look, the type that many people would like to punch, reminiscent of that one of those douchebag antagonists.
A tick mark shows on Yamcha's forehead "Hmph! No way, you may have shown me things beyond incredible but now I'm curious to see your power" Yamcha said, tossing the nunchakus to the ground.
"I'm happy that you're more interested than afraid, don't worry though. I promise to hold back" Melvin said with the Ok sign.
"Oh you really pushing it now, lets see who is afraid after we are done"
The two fighters then fly sky high until the house can't be seen anymore due to the clouds, wind blows around their bodies as Yamcha gets on his Wolf stance while Melvin just stood there, his face suddenly dropping from smug to neutral, eyes as blank as a robot.
'Strange, he is just standing there completely open and vitals exposed but...I can't read him at all.
Without proportion speeds, the fallen angel charged forward, but it was so fast that it was almost like he had teleported out of his previous spot showing right in front of Yamcha with his staff being held like that of a spear.
'What?!'
Melvin delivers an onslaught of thrusts with the staff in which warning bells started to ring on Yamchas brain that said one thing *DANGER* Not wanting to get hit, he dodges it at the best of his current capabilities, the air pressure tearing and cutting parts of his Gi while maneuvering in the air. The scar-faced human tries to fight back by doing his Shin Roga FuFu Ken which had become faster and deadlier with training, but the mysterious being with a unique set of eyes paid no mind to it and dodge it like his body was a feather that moved accordingly to the wind.
When the combo was over Melvin disappeared once more showing behind Yamcha who ended up getting slugged in the face by a straight punch, sending him down the forest and breaking a few trees that ended up falling on top of him.
"Hmm...maybe I should hold back some more?" Melvin rubs his chin.
Yamcha pushed the fallen trees away emerging from where he ended and flying up to get some altitude, breathing in and out after that heavy blow "Ugh...that was one heck of a strike"
"Hey! You're up already huh?" Melvin had shown up by his side without making a sound "Cool, let's keep going"
"What the!" Yamcha backs away surprised.
Melvin kept throwing a relentless storm of kicks and punches, each one seemed to be breaking the sound barrier in speed, Yamcha dodged and parried with great difficulty and when he went for blocking the vibration that sends through him was outstanding, it was so hard, his vision was strained to keep on, but he kept powering up his ki not holding back as the transparent ki envelops his body and veins pulse around his arms and forehead, seeing just how far it would go.
"I can feel that your passion and determination for fighting are doing well. Your spirit has grown sharper. And control over your own ki has grown exponentially, not depending solely on brute force but…"
Melvin landed a solid punch to Yamcha's gut with such force it knocked the wind out of his lungs, keeling over as he tried to get his shit together.
"Ugh…" He clutched his stomach, it felt like being hit by a dozen battering rams at point-blank range.
"What are you going to do? Are you gonna give up now that someone stronger than you has shown up?" Melvin's voice had an edge of seriousness that was far different from the prankster.
Yamcha spits some blood mixed with saliva "Pain is just part of the process" He gave a weak smirk, it still hurts but he didn't want to stop.
"I see...well then that's all" Melvin simply said going back to his normal behavior.
"Wait what?" Yamcha was confused.
"This was just a little shakeup, just to test the waters"
Yamcha looks at Melvin with a face that shows disappointment, he was feeling like a cool line had been used for nothing and that he was ready for more but it was abruptly brought to an end.
"Besides the anticlimactic ending, what did you get from this? I don't even show you all my skill set" He sighs deeply.
"You don't have to, my keen senses are already analyzing. Your strength, speed, and overall control of your Ki have increased considerably. I can say that just by the sparring in the last few seconds, your effort is paying off, not by raw power alone but technique"
"Oh...Ahn, thanks I guess" Yamcha looked a bit flustered.
"You still have a weakness though" Melvin pointed out.
That took him out of the stupor, what did he mean by weakness? He just said that all his attributes have turned out for the better.
"You doubt?" Melvin asked.
"I know that I'm not perfect but I really thought that with everything I learned, that my weakness would just be feeling cocky sometimes" Melvin walks towards Yamcha and puts his hand on the guy's shoulder, looking deeply into him with the face of a master and speaking "Everyone who walks the path of martial arts aims to be the strongest, and that's why such a road is never-ending. No matter how much control you think you have or how much power you acquired, there will always be someone way better than you in all aspects, but what you do after losing is what truly matters"
Yamcha stared at him, digesting those words, the way he spoke was just so serious that the sound of his voice deepened and the air became denser for a moment, for a split second he had forgotten who he was dealing with.
"Don't get cocky because you got a bit stronger, don't be prideful or else you get sloppy, be alert because the danger is everywhere, keep growing for its never gonna be enough. Keep your wits on these rules and your gonna be Ok" Melvin Said petting his head like Yamcha was a little kid.
"H-Hey! Quit it" He slapped his hand away.
"Well then my scar-faced friend, I think we had just about enough time to get warmed up" Melvin with his staff hits the floor lightly quickly fixing the damage around nature that happened due to their fight "I heard that you play baseball right?"
"Uh? Oh yeah, it was one of my first professional jobs. Why?"
"Great, that will do just fine" With a snap of fingers, the former angel makes some weird contraption show up behind Yamcha a total of Twenty meters away from him which surprises him.
(A\N: The machine looks like the one from the Youtube Video, World's Fastest Pitch - Supersonic Baseball Cannon - Smarter Every Day 242)
"Whoa! What is that thing?"
"Oh, this? It's a cannon made to shoot the world's fastest pitcher at a….one thousand and fifty miles per hour, able to tear through any leather-like baseball glove like its paper and what not to weak target"
"Is that so? And what exactly do you want me to do with it?" Yamcha smirked, knowing where this is going.
"You won't hit them with a bat if that's what you think, it would just break anyway. Instead, I would like to see you using only your legs to try and hit these fastballs by a distance of eighteen meters from the machine if that's not too much"
Yamcha looked at him with his eyes half-open but with a serious look "No sweat, I beat this game you made here just for fun"
While Melvin just nods and floats away, the long black-haired man stares back at the machine and stays in a stance focusing on kicking. The fact he knew the direction of the shot and that it would come in a straight line made it easy to predict it, now it was all a matter of paying attention and then going for it. Yamcha remembers once on a television show that explained that the faster something goes, the more mass it acquires, so what would happen if you ended up being hit by a projectile ball that goes at a speed of 1050 Miles per hour? The answer to that question is that it would be pretty damn painful, tearing through leather or rubber-like a literal cannon.
But after everything, he went through? That was nothing more than a game to warm up and play around for shits and giggles. Heck, Master Roshi training was harder than that, with all the running from dinosaurs and swimming away from sharks while wearing a heavy turtle shell. There was no real worry in getting hit by that anyway since his body and power had reached a level far beyond any of that but Yamcha had made sure to take out his constant arrogance when getting stronger, who knows what Melvin would bring. The guy could be quite unpredictable when he felt like it. It didn't take long for it to finally begin, every time the magazine was activated not only it shot the ball at such high speed, but steam could also be seen coming out from it. The first ball came like a cannon, but with a swift left kick, Yamcha had cut the ball in half, as the sliced-off parts flew past him.
It kept going like that for some time, though from each time he kicked them away the former bandit would notice that the speed from those pitchers seem to increase, every time one of the balls would be kicked, he would match his power to it. The man was surprised when the tenth ball rather than going straight, the moment it was shot instead it made a curve towards the left. The others would also change trajectories to try and take him off guard and hit him, painfully.
But while it was a surprise, it's not like he was completely unaware of the possible changes in the game. With speed compared to that of a falcon flying at high speed, flexibility worthy of a snake, a hit so powerful one could think it resembled a powerful leap of a Tiger.
"If your big plan was to throw fastballs at me then you better step it up my friend, but I gotta say it was fun" Yamcha said, smirking with confidence.
"Well, this is what I get for playing ball with a baseball player right?"
"What else are you gonna throw at me now?" Yamcha urged.
"A wall"
After Melvin says that Yamcha is surrounded by metallic constructs that have arisen from down below the wait, quickly circling around him like they were making themselves or by someone's will. When it was done, Yamcha opened his eyes, now being able to just sort of look around after that whole thing. The room was exactly one hundred meters in height, but enough space to walk around, and right above one could see the light coming from the possible exit. The vertical surfaces of the wall were gleaming, it's metal smoother than a floor after waxing up.
"Funny thing about ki" Melvin spoke from above "If you have enough of it and learn how to control, you can pretty much do anything. Like being bulletproof, but once you suppress it and relax then you're just like everyone else, soft and squishy"
"Get to the point" Yamcha asked, his voice making an echo from the nearly enclosed space.
"I want you to climb this smooth surface without flying, jumping, or using any amount of Ki that can be considered ludicrous. In other words, just muscle through it you hear?"
"Muscle through it?"
And just like that the next couple of minutes were used by Yamcha to see if he could try climbing that place without using his inner energy as the convenient tool that had been trained all this time. Oh, how difficult it was, climbing something where you don't even have a place to balance yourself? The damn slippery thing that not even a monkey would have an easier time doing. But the whole point wasn't trying to climb it as a normal mountain climber would, he had trained his legs and hands so much and all the past training weren't just for ki, they were meant to make you go past physical peak condition.
It wasn't easy at first but after making use of his experience in martial arts and a little thinking, the former bandit made use of his pinching grip and managed to get himself out of that spot, it felt like he was climbing up with all the weight of his body onto one or two fingers. It wasn't all just about strength but concentration and how to do it right in that specific spot though.
"I see you managed to get out, good job. It wasn't so freaking hard now was it?"
He breathes in and out "If anything, it was annoying. I wonder if my old self would find it any easier" Yamcha said, clenching his fists at the feeling.
"No point thinking about what-ifs from the past. If all this is too easy for someone of your level right now, then perhaps it's time I kick it up a notch and make things more interesting"
Looking more dramatic now Melvin starts flying in the air and doing motions with his arms as the environment changes accordingly to his will, the metal is gone and something else is forming from it, the air grows strong and Yamcha closes his eyes because of the flying dirt. When it was done Melvin asked him to look, opening his eyes Yamcha saw some huge-looking gun that was somewhat similar to the previous one but at the same time different. it was bigger and more militaristic. Surrounded by stuff or material that he couldn't really say because the man wasn't a scientist but maybe it was for protection.
"This is a railgun. Looks cool right?" Melvin spoke, hands apart showing it to him as a toy.
"And what is that exactly? I know it's a gun but...specifically?"
"It's a linear motor device, typically designed as a weapon that uses electromagnetic force to launch high-velocity projectiles. They don't always have explosives though it's more of relying on high speed, mass, and kinetic energy to inflict damage. The railgun uses a pair of parallel conductors, along which a sliding armature is accelerated by the electromagnetic effects of a current that flows down one rail, into the armature and then back along the other rail"
"Hoh? That sounds like a big deal, how fast would that be though if it were to be used now?" Yamcha raised an eyebrow in interest.
"Mach 6, or 5,400 miles an hour if you prefer" Melvin then raises something from his back and gives it to Yamcha, it was his sword that was previously on the house.
"And your job is to be one thousand meters away from it and slice the projectile with your trusty weapon. But feel free to stay still if you think a super-duper fast kinetic bullet won't dent your pretty face"
Curiously looking at his sword like Melvin had planned all-out Yamcha just gives him a narrowed look of suspicion "As you wish, now let's see if this is as fast as you told" Yamcha said before flying off to the distance.
Those who have gone past their limits of peak human condition can prevent their limitations from hindering their growth and instead of what could be used as a moment of weakness is now a source of strength. Yamcha has gone through a lot of painful moments in his life, be it dying twice or almost dying but only getting horribly wounded, this situation just got more dangerous now, but something told him Melvin wanted to do exactly that, he wanted the man to feel that he was going against something that if he failed, then it was going to hurt him...a lot! Not only that, but it was going to rub it on his face that he was not able to do this, that it was too fast, too strong.
But so what? Most people would run away saying that this was crazy, that only a maniac would put their life at risk for something so silly as pride. And it was true! Pride is a nice feeling sometimes, but it is also a source of shame and it can blind you. However, for some, it was more than pride. Did they want to improve themselves into being stronger and better than previously? Yes. To conquer weakness and face toward their goals and dreams? Absolutely. It was self-respect to show yourself that this! Was it the end for one's growth?
"Are you scared by any chance?" He asked "Dodging is one thing but trying to cut it?"
Be it through science or just a simple belief, it has been stated that most individuals who are triggered towards a dangerous situation towards their well being. They remain unconscious for exactly 0.5 seconds before the brain can signal for said individual to take action and move, it may sound like an insignificant fact at first. But sometimes, even the smallest of details can provoke so many changes, it's worth not getting careless.
"And give you the satisfaction of laughing at my face if I am even one percent unsure of it? Hell no. Keep wishing" His gaze narrowed.
Crouching down a little Yamcha then proceeds to dig into his power, closing his eyes as his ki bursts to life! Emanating from him like a white flame or aura that surrounded his body like a second skin, the temperature around him raised a little by it, but not by an awful amount but more of gentle warmth. Powering up to his best didn't crack the floor, it didn't push the trees aside. It wasn't something that screamed that he was a powerhouse, instead, it felt more controlled than anything.
Hensui…It was known as Liquid Transformation. An absolute move that works by seeing themselves not as a solid but as a liquid, gaining complete muscular relaxation and granting control of both the voluntary and involuntary muscles, increasing the user's nervous reaction speed allowing them to quickly dodge and counter opponents' attack. Overwhelming power isn't everything, not that he didn't enjoy using it but it wasn't his style, all the training he did and all the challenges were to iron his will and train his mind since there was only so much you could do for the body. You had to find other ways to break the limit rather than the same training every day.
The sword was still on the scabbard and he was holding the handle with one arm while in his stance, waiting for the moment where he would have to unsheathe it. It felt like he could perceive everything in a three-meter radius, the details such as the movement in the air, the drops of water from the leaves. It felt like he awakened a new sense or something. To move too fast you look like a flicker was one thing, to stay completely still in the face of a huge weapon that was supposed to be dangerous and see the surrounding like it was in slow motion, how fun.
The preparations were almost complete and the sound of the machine getting its ammo ready was audible as the pieces of it began to work in conjunction to do its main part. With the push of a button the round was finally released as it shot forward, the sound it left on its path was deafening. Easily breaking the sound barrier with great speed like a rocket with only one target. At the speed that made everything look like a blur, Yamcha saw the main goal and with it quickly enough to draw his weapon like the Iaijutsu users making the collision of his curved blade edge hit against the projectile in one single second that felt like it was much more.
The wind pressure caused by that raised a cloud of dust and rocks that would surprise anyone from the sight, one single moment was all it took for all that to happen because of so much speed yet it felt like much more until…
*Clang*
Something fell on the floor with a metallic sound and once the dust was blown away by the wind there was only one thing. Yamcha's sword was cloaked in yellow Ki while the man still looked forward with a serious expression and some veins showing from his arms. On the ground was the projectile completely cut in half a few meters behind him after the swift move. Before the king around the sword disappears and he sheathes it back.
Melvin whistles "Damn, I think I just saw sparks fly from there mate"
Yamcha exhales "...Well, that was neat. Looks like aat training to make my body loose and calm paid off, but I still felt a bit tense"
"You did great, keep going at it and it will get easier"
"So, is this like...the end, or are we just going to keep going so you can find new ways to try and hurt me?"
"Oh Yamcha, you think we are done? All these things so far we're just warming you up and testing your reflexes and nerves. The true challenge will start pretty soon, something so difficult and hardcore you wish I had tried anything else" Melvin said with a mischievous tone.
"You always make it sound like it would be hard, but I manage to get it on top. Whatever you throw at me just know that I take care of it" Yamcha said sure of himself.
"Whatever you say, Wolf. I make sure to give what you say"
*Scene Shift*
Yamcha was left in what could be described as a huge circular-shaped arena with the drawn of a Chinese dragon in the center, ropes surrounded the circle and at the end of each, there were statues of Shaolin's that were seemingly holding on to it.
(A\N: Imagine the Wu Shi battle arena on Mortal Kombat)
"I hope you can admire the work of architecture I have to show you sometimes" Melvin spoke.
"Well, id does give me more of a martial arts school sort of feeling. But seeing you redecorate the surroundings over and then reshaping as nothing happened. It's still quite a lot, it's like you're taking as many resources as you want and making all the fine details without breaking a sweat"
"I just found it to be more convenient than teleporting around and then making my stuff, I'm sure no one will see you here, it's quite quiet living away from big cities"
'I wonder if he keeps a barrier so no one sees us. How much energy does he use though if that would be the case?' "I'm ready for the final challenge, do you think we can start right now?" He asks him.
"Indeed…It's time you face your worst weakness Yamcha my boy" Melvin steps on the ground.
"You're still talking about that, what is that weakness? I'm as strong as they come, my only weakness would just be someone stronger than me" Yamcha huffs.
"Not at all, you still have a weakness and that is clear as day" Melvin said.
"And what would that be?" The man asked, curious.
"Girls"
"Say what?" Yamcha stared down at him.
"And you're fighting three of them today to get rid of that annoyance that should have been taken care of a long time ago" Melvin said as a matter of fact.
"I'm sorry what?" He asked again, this time eyes widened in shock.
"Oh hey! Here comes one of them already. Boy, this is exciting right?"
From the other side of the arena was a woman in which Yamcha didn't even see when she first appeared, almost like she had been there from the start. The blonde-haired woman waiting at the ring was wearing a short, tight Special Forces vest that went above her belly button, with two straps buckled up, along with her I.D. badge. It didn't seem like she was wearing an undershirt or a bra which made it much more clear of how... 'interesting' her choice of clothing was. She wears a pair of dog tags, as well. On her upper arms, there were armbands, some of which form Xs over her biceps and triceps. A pair of dark green-and-black leather pants adorned her legs, knee-pads, and high-heeled, combat-style boots for her feet.
"Meet Sonya Blade Yamcha, you will be fighting her"
"Eh? What? W-Wait a moment" Yamcha couldn't help but stare at certain...parts of her body. That woman was what one could call the combination of attractive and deadly.
"What seems to be the problem?" Melvin asked.
"You want me to fight her? But...I can't!"
Melvin raises an eyebrow "Look Yamcha this is a necessity. What will you do if you end up fighting a female fighter one day that wants to kill you? Stay still because she is a girl and let her beat you up?"
"I would try to defeat her without hurting her?" Yamcha looks around nervously.
Melvin just facepalms "Yeah because I'm certain their pride as warriors would be more than thankful for your holding back because of their gender. Look just do as I say, you be thanking me later"
Sonya moved in close, and sent out a quick jab at Yamcha's head, barely dodging in time as it hit nothing but air, however, it was a distraction as she sent out a sidekick into the former bandit's side, practically hitting with the force of a freight train.
Lucky for him he was well trained or else two ribs would be broken right now 'Damn, that woman can kick!'
Before he could even check, his instincts screamed for him to watch out, as he rolled out of the way as the woman brought down an ax kick to where he was standing, cracking the concrete underneath her foot.
'Whoa! Gonna have to avoid those kicks from now on!' Thought Yamcha, as he tries to formulate a plan.
The blonde-haired woman changes her wrists together and launches her move *Energy Rings* out as a pink ring-like projectile shoots forward like a corkscrew. Yamcha is surprised not expecting energy attacks from the women he was fighting, easily dodging it though with a roll, he gets right up and ready for more but when he saw she was already very close to him.
'Hmmm…'
Poor guy, it was so hard. The fact Sonya was so close to him allowed the dud to get a good eyeful from her big breasts and how sweat was forming from it. The blonde-haired military women take advantage of the situation and do a handstand, grabs him with her feet, promptly slamming him on the ground behind her with a *SLAM* One more second down and Yamcha would be the victim of Sonya *Airdrop* which was a straight down kick after jumping in the air.
'Ouch! Did I seriously just do that?'
Yamcha realizes that he wasn't taking her seriously or treating the women as a warrior, this was all just some silly mentality that made guys not want to hurt girls even if they were stronger than said guy.
'Good thing no one I know is here to make fun of it" Popping his neck, Yamcha got into a boxing stance, waiting for the woman to come to him "Time to be a real martial artist"
Sonya didn't disappoint, as she got in close and delivered a high knee to Yamcha's face, but it didn't end there after the high knee came, she sent out a haymaker which almost hit him, as he averted it with his shoulder, making the woman open to a counter-attack. Yamcha sent out a full-body right straight into her face, but she spun with the devastating punch, grabbing Yamcha's arm and judo flipping him onto his back and mounting him, raining blow after blow, as Yamcha attempted to block as many punches as he could. In an attempt to get her off of him, Yamcha thrust upwards with the strength of his legs, sending Sonya rolling away from him. She rolled to her feet and came back with a vengeance, but Yamcha was waiting and ducked underneath a roundhouse she sent his way.
"Your fighting is great but you out to do better than th-"
Weirdly enough Sonya does what could be described as...blowing a kiss...but something pink like dust comes out and hits Yamcha right in the eyes irritating them as tear gas has just been thrown.
"Ahhh fuck! My eyes"
Sonya goes for the kill and uses *Eagle Strike* Turning him around and then striking Yamcha makes him kneel before she throws him in the air with a knee to the back and then finally punches the guy to the ground in mid-air making him fall. Quickly getting away from the fallen fighter Sonya throws a Frag Grenade which explodes after a few seconds. Looking back over her shoulders the fighter wonders if that was the end of it.
It was not.
"Ok...now that does it! I'm not gonna be your punching bag just cause you're hot"
His gi had got trashed because of the explosion at point-blank range and his lips were bleeding but besides that the man was ok. Sonya's eyes narrowed and she was ready to fight once more by throwing a punch, not fazed that Yamcha had survived. Moving at speeds that she could see, Yamcha calmly sidestepped and grabbed her wrist, providing hundreds of pounds for additional leverage, taking some of her groundwork allowing for him to take off her balance. Rotating his hips, Yamcha amplifies the power as his leg sweeps her, having control of her body thanks to the wrists being on hold. Having his knee on her stomach the man steels himself before punching her in the face.
"Done! I-I did it" He breathed heavily like it was the most difficult thing.
"You didn't hold your punches right? Melvin asked.
"Why are you asking?"
"Because she is getting up"
The moment Yamcha turns around he receives a leathery boot kick to the face as Sonya performed her *Arc Kick* that made her go through the air hitting her opponent like a cannon.
"Aghh!"
"Typical, they do one cool move and they think the fight is over" Melvin shook his head.
Sonya was shaken but not defeated, getting back into action she calls in a flying drone that floats next to her before an order is given to it. It glows light blue before it starts shooting an overhead blast. Yamcha wasn't expecting her to get right back up and the blast almost hit him right in the face, but it only singed through his hair burning it up a little as his reflexes are one of his keen advantages.
"Oh shit!" He said now smelling burnt hair "Where did that come from? Oof! That does it!"
Yamcha looks at the opponent now feeling angry as the drone starts to shoot again, but this time he uses the Zanzouken and leaves after images of himself around to distract Sonya from seeing the real one which ends up making the attacks miss every time. When the former bandit is close enough he jumps and uses his move "Taiyōken (Solar Flare)" The blinding light takes away Sonya's concentration as it hurts her eyes like it just stared into the sun. Now that was time to finish it.
"Take this! Roga Fufu ken!"
Yamcha does his favorite attack with speed and accuracy with no hesitation but when it came to finishing it with a double palm strike, he instead did a combo with a different move. Getting behind her in a fast move, he took a deep breath and went for it. The move was a standing submission that solidly blocked her right elbow and the neck, then executed by a suplex.
"Ryu Zanshuraku! (The Fall of the Decapitating Dragon)"
Yamcha slammed Sonya on the floor hard, usually, this move is lethal but he did in a way that would hurt but not like...snap her neck or anything. It went with a *BAM* then it was lights out from that on forward.
Yamcha gasps for a moment "Phew...there, no getting up from that one"
"You could have done more than this, next time I would enjoy seeing a better performance"
"By next performance you mean later right?" Yamcha asked.
"No, I mean now"
Suddenly Sonya's body disappeared in a shift of teleportation before it was substituted by someone else, and it was another female.
"What the heck?" He said.
The dark-skinned women in question had in hands a green-colored staff that seemed to be either made of emeralds or something else, she was wearing a short, emerald-colored, cropped halter top, which stopped and split above her navel, possessing golden trimmings and an opening in the middle, laced together with crossed strings. This one seemingly gave off a much sexier vibe than Sonya because of the way her clothes looked, it resembled a belly dancer but one made for fighting, it honestly made Yamcha stare at her body more than he expected.
"Whoa...also shit" He noticed he would have to keep going.
"Meet Jade. She is quite adept in fighting with a weapon, I hope you give a good show" Melvin said, looking at the two.
Yamcha was slowly regretting agreeing to this, as Melvin seemed to have fun watching him make a fool of himself like that "Now, I know what you're thinking. But should we really battle out? Maybe we could talk things o-"
He had just enough time to dodge an overhead-swing from the green garbed woman, hitting the ground. It caused a small tremor that set off green energy that momentarily blinded Yamcha. Looks like trying to talk was not the best option here. Jade was then suddenly right behind him using her bo-staff to grab onto the back of what was left of his shirt and began to slam him into the ground behind her, then once more in the same spot as before. But now leaving a small dent in his shape on the ground. After a moment, a sigh escaped Yamcha, as the air was finally brought back into his abused lungs. He slowly got back to his feet, then all of the sudden his instinct warned him to move, as Jade brought down her staff onto the stone floor once more. Yamcha knew he was lucky he dodged in time
'Damn, this lasts a tough customer, and she also looks so attractive, blasts it. I got to think about how to deal with her quickly and stop thinking about her body'
Before he could actually come up with a plan, Jade was already slamming the staff in the ground again, as Yamcha rolled out of the way of her attack, causing another tremor filled with bright green energy. This time though he was ready for her, as she reappeared behind him and attempted the same move again, Yamcha grabbed the tip of the staff and pulled slightly.
Jade lost her footing as she stumbled forward and into Yamcha's uppercut, causing her to onto her knees disorientated for a moment. She tried to push forward with her staff in an attempt to make her opponent release her staff, but he used her own momentum to grab onto her clothes and hurled her with such force it caused her to twist in the air as she slammed into the ground.
"Sorry Lady, but if you keep using the same attack you won't get me that easy" Yamcha said shaking off that surprise attack.
Standing up, Jade looks back as her facial expression is hidden by the mask, she then uses *Edenian Spark* and sends sparks of magic across the ground one after the other, which makes Yamcha dodge it by jumping each time like he was in a landmine. Seeing that their enemies can use energy-based attacks, Yamcha raises his leg and shoots a few pieces of rubble to throw her for a loop. But then she uses *Dodging Shadows* causing Jade's body to glow green and a forcefield around her takes form, making any projectiles go through her.
"What?" Yamcha said, interested in what just happened.
Jade then takes the chance to use *Blazing Nitro kick* Which illuminates her once more and kicks forward with a strong blow making Yamcha stumble backward. Then using the enhanced version the green garbed woman teleports behind him ready to strike him with her staff until….
*Ka-Ching!*
Yamcha blocks it by using the sword that this time was on his back rather than on his hip "Geez lady, you didn't tell me you could teleport so much" He grins, blood dripping from his nose because of the blows. A faint look of surprise adorns her face before Jade backs away for a moment and goes to the next move. Using *Deadly Butterfly* she spins her staff around in front of her while moving towards Yamcha. But with one hand he managed to block all the seven blows, the last one was strong making a shockwave but his muscles didn't let him down.
'I blocked!' "Here take it"
When he backed away Yamcha casually threw his sword upwards in an unpredictable movie, which made Jade look up in confusion for a moment. But it was that one second in which the former bandit too and used Ripple Cutter spitting a dense and sharp glob of spit that hit Jade fingers who were holding her staff. With a pained cry, the plan worked and the woman dropped down the weapon, feeling her fingers were just stung.
'I'm sorry, pretty girl' "Urufu Harikēn (Wolf Hurricane)"
Yamcha jumps above Jade and then comes down with his foot, kicking her. Then delivers a punch before jumping backward and springing forward with another kick, as he finishes with a major claw attack across the opponent's body tearing some of her clothing apart making her fall defeated. As the sword falls on the ground he quickly goes to grab it, before looking away as the exposed skin of Jade is now more apparent than ever.
"I won right?! She won't get back up again right?" He said, now blushing.
"Awwn and here I thought you would take a nice eyeful. Good job in playing smart, I like when fighters use more than just their muscles" Melvin spoke with glee
"I would not do that" He said defensively.
"It's ok to be a little bit perverted man, no need to be such a closet pervy" Melvin taunted.
"Just say that I won already!"
"No need to lose your cool over that, just one more fight and you can be done with it. Promise"
"More?!"
The same thing that happened with Sonya happens to Jade, leaving someone to take its place.
'Why do they keep vanishing?' He thought for a moment.
She had unnaturally reddish hair with a black streak tied back in a low ponytail, gray eyes, and her clothing is primarily red and black with minimal white accents. She wears a tight ninja half-face mask from her nose to the edge of her collar bone. She has forearm and shoulder guards and wears somewhat of a short loincloth and a top that is similar to Jade's alternate top, revealing a bare midriff.
'Whoa….she looks like a sexy ninja women' Yamcha face heats up looking at her attire.
"If you don't want to lose an eye to Skarlet then you better pay attention to something else" Melvin said.
"Please it's not like I am going to be taken by surprise aga-"
Or so he thought, but then Skarlet did something unthinkable and stabbed herself making Yamcha scream in surprise and shock as a literal tentacle of blood was made from that like dark magic.
"What the fuck?!"
No matter how much weird shit you see there is always more, and that will take away your focus, Yamcha didn't know what gods he angered suddenly found himself being wrapped by said tentacle that pulled him towards the women who did such creepy things. Then the red-haired woman slashed at him trying to draw his blood, having no way to get out of the blood tentacle's clutches, Yamcha thinking fast managed to kick the crazy woman in the side of her head, sending her flying. Which made her lose concentration on the blood tentacle, causing it to turn into a blood splat on the floor.
"Did I seriously just get attacked by a freaking blood tentacle? By Kami that was fucked up" Yamcha said, somewhat feeling dirty and not just because of the blood on his clothes and skin now.
After the bloody ordeal, he readied himself, as the woman while on the ground turned into blood puddled, to only then reform back into her solid-state. Yamcha was shocked to see how her body changed from liquid to solid just like that. She then plucked four daggers from her boots and hurled them at the martial artist with pinpoint accuracy. With no time to spare, Yamcha redirected the flying sharp pointy objects away from him, but this was what Skarlet wanted, as she sent out a ball of blood. Yamcha had a feeling that he should not allow that attack to hit him at any cost, so he dived to the right as the blood soar past him, but the oddest thing happened. It stopped in mid-air and came back faster than before.
He was able to duck in time as the blood ball missed him by inches, and was reabsorbed by Scarlet as she sent out a flurry of throwing knives at Yamcha. Managing to roll out of the way of the deadly instrument's path, he ran towards Skarlet intending to end the fight quickly. Before he could though she turned into blood and sunk into the ground, vanishing before his own eyes. He didn't know where she went too, slowly he looked around in the hopes of spotting her, but it was too soon as felt the sheer agony that laced his back as blood began to pool to the ground. Behind him was Skarlet, with her knife covered with his own blood.
The blood on the knife slithered into Skarlet's arm, sending her into a euphoric state, wanting more of that sensation the women would become relentless next move. This gave Yamcha the chance to lunch himself towards the creepy blood-obsessed woman, as he sent out a quick special attack.
"You damn vampire women!"
All he did with these women was a fight as they stayed in silence, that was rude, now this chick was licking his blood? Creepy! He didn't want to engage in a fight with her any longer than needed.
The fundamental energy which is ki mainly concentrates on the lower part of the stomach which is called the Tendon.
"Bakutanken! (Exploding Vermilion Fist)"
By striking the inferior part of said zone ends up liberating the energy that accumulates inside of the body causing it to explode. The impact will then propagate towards the extremities provoking the destruction of the capillary vessels and could even reach up to the brain. Skarlet gasps in pain as Yamcha's move hits her dead-on, she was unable to turn into a liquid as well because the martial artist made said move unstable by adding Hamon. He knew what the ripple did to liquids, and after seeing that she depended on blood-like attacks, this was the best course to cause pain and limit her moveset. With her blood magic disrupted and her ki in disharmony, Skarlet's body falls onto the ground, this time not turning into blood and losing the fight.
"Whoa! Now that was cool, can we do it again!" Melvin floated down.
"No!" Yamcha shouted.
"Oh fine, three is a good number anyway"
"Man this was...I can't believe I just fought three girls with such skimpy clothing and for some reason didn't seem to be much for conversation?" Yamcha said, taking a breather.
"Ah yes, that's because they were not really here per say" Melvin starts.
"What do you mean by that?" Yamcha raises an eyebrow.
Melvin points at the body of Skarlet who now dissipates into blue energy sparkles surprising Yamcha.
"I can't just open a portal to another world and bring people from there after telling them I need someone to spar with you. That would be risky and taxing, that's why I made constructs"
"Wait...You what?" Yamcha is listening with more attention.
"After studying all the moveset, their history, personality and what more details I could find through sources I managed to use my divine power to make an almost perfect live construct of these three ladies down to their very power. But trying to concentrate on making them talk while fighting is a bit taxing"
"Hold on. Are you telling me that you made a whole person's body and skills into a construct made of your own energy and controlled them to fight me?"
"I also chose their most sexy outfit versions just to tease you and make you act sloppy, all part of making you better"
"HOW?! THAT IS SO...no. I am not asking why or how I'm just…" Yamcha starts having a headache "Fine, do as you wish if they are not really alive"
"You're acting like I did a crime or something, geez. It was just easier that's all" Melvin rolls his eyes.
"This definition of easy you seem to have will make me go nuts"
"You weren't complaining that much when you were staring at their curves"
Yamcha flinches in response to that "Ugh…"
"No matter, maybe Reward time will make you feel better"
"Well after all you went through this challenge that is not everything you gonna get"
"Seriously? There is more?" Yamcha said,
"All these challenges were testing your sight, speed, reaction, concentration, and discipline. And since you have managed to come this far even against the odds such as hot chicks" Melvin smirked.
"Will you shut up about that already? Geez!" Yamcha asks, fuming already.
"I mean don't get me wrong, they still look pretty in earlier games but they cover so much of their skin, man I miss MK9 that one was great, now feels kind of wasteful" Melvin shakes his head.
"Dude, what are you even talking about?" Yamcha feels confused.
"Nothing, just thinking out loud about how the world is too overly sensitive"
Melvin puts his staff over Yamchas hand and another glow comes out like it's scanning the skin before some weird symbols started to appear on top of his hand, almost like some sort of instant Tattoo.
"Ouch! Hey, that stung" Yamcha complained.
"Quit being such a baby, it looks neat" Melvin chuckles.
"Ok, but what do these symbols on my hand mean?"
"Those symbols are runes, and it says Gandálfr" He simply tells him.
"...Yeah I still don't know what that means"
"It means the Left hand of God. For you see this symbol is magical in nature, when in physical contact with any item meant for combat it is said to give you complete proficiency over it"
"Whoa really? I mean but what if I use something I never saw, like straight out of this planet?"
"Well it hasn't been fully explored yet but it is hinted that it can possibly give mastery over the scientific application of technology" Melvin tries to explain to him "Also if you were just your average human with no control over ki you would gain gains heightened strength, agility, endurance, reflexes and pain tolerance"
"A boost and control over any weapon? Man I know I earned this but..."
"Let me guess, it feels like cheating?" Melvin rolls his eyes "You know what is cheating? Get a power boost every time you escape death! Or maybe it would make more sense to just lose your temper, go golden, and then your power is now fifty times more strong" Melvin said, basically talking about Super Saiyans.
"...To be fair that is part of their biology" Yamcha sweatdrops.
"Yeah and this is now literally part of your skin now, so just enjoy it. It only gives you the ability to know how to use the weapon, it doesn't mean you would suddenly defeat someone who uses a sword for ten years, so keep on practicing"
"I gotta admit, the name Lef Hand of God does sound cool. But im not sure I wanna call it like that in front of others, feels somewhat arrogant" Yamcha laughs.
"I would say cringe but hey, no one laughs at someone who calls themselves Super Saiyan, now let's go im hungry" Melvin says before teleporting them.
1- Do you guys want the chapters to always be about Yamcha getting new stuff through challenges?
2- Would you be interested in this story taking a different turn for Adventurous Sci-Fi after many chapters?
3- If I added different characters from other franchises to the group with Yamcha, would you like it to be as a Harem (You know what I mean) or Servants? (Loyal to you like knights and whatnot)
