A\N: Some of the scenes were Co-written by my awesome friend DJ Rodriguez. I just wanted to say how happy I am with this two-part chapter, it's never easy to write a cool fighting scene that works enough for everyone.
For Morganfreeman: When you say fighting them back to back you mean he won't be fighting them one by one but all at the same time? That would be quite dangerous and he would die XD I like the guy but fighting so many strong dudes he knows nothing about would be extreme, but I do like the idea of the projection, did you perhaps have that when I made that Omake dream of Yamcha Fighting Ryu from Street Fight? Well, Morgan while the idea is good when making a fight between two different franchise characters, it needs a lot of work and research (since I don't know about fate) but I will keep it in mind because I could perhaps use it in the future for something else, nice list of choices though.
There he stood...looking at the one thing that he hated the most, it was quite the personal grudge, it wasn't the same one who killed him, but that didn't stop the fact that it was now its enemy just like the previous one on that fateful day. Now, much more powerful, but rather than start attacking, the Saibaking snarled a blood-curdling roar that would shatter the glass of countless windows. He had just activated his trump card *Imperial Wrath* which was a power-up that increased his damage output by one hundred percent, now that it was basically a cornered animal it just wanted to finish what it started, no matter the cost.
Yamcha furrows his brow, seeing that his fight is far from over, taking the chance he decides to remove a few pieces of clothing such as his undershirt, boots, and armbands, diminishing the weight from all that stuff that was not only wet but under the effects of 70G to make the job easier, the only items he decided to leave on were his pants, gauntlets, and sword since they were reliable even if heavier now.
"So this is your full power huh? You don't look so tou-"
Before Yamcha could finish his words though, a clenched fist suddenly made contact with the guy's stomach, making him gasp for air as saliva came from his mouth from that heavy strike. Holding onto his stomach, Yamcha was trying to keep his composure but the power-up that his enemy had received was actually...quite problematic.
"GUAH!" Yamcha falls on his knees.
"Ehhakakaahaa" With pure sadistic joy, it laughed loudly.
"Shut up you ugly bastard!"
Yamcha gets right back up and begins to punch and kick as much as he can, but even though the weight of his body is less strained, that didn't seem to matter for the enemy though, he still had the advantage in power. The Saibaking hits him on the side with a kick and then begins an assault all over his body making the former bandit fall on the muddy floor.
"Gah!" He grunted, pain travelling across his body.
"You're slow and weak!"
The now red-skinned alien begins to berate his enemy, stepping on his chest with its feet, the sharp alien toenails digging into the former bandit flesh making as blood starts to show.
"I will end you and use your skull as a trophy!"
*Cues: Bones by Young Guns*
The Saibaking sadistically went to use both of his hands to go and strangle the martial artist, up close and personal. Yamcha begins to gasp for air, feeling weak and completely at the mercy of that being, he tries to remove him from his neck but it's just impossible, it feels like an iron vice. If only he could try and use Hensui for this moment, its muscle relaxation also possessed the ability to retain form and resist compression, but every single factor seemed to be against him, making it hard to do it.
Being beaten by the king of all Saibamens while gravity crushes down on him, reminded Yamcha of two of his most annoying cocky moments in life, it was horrible. That thing was strong, he had no way to defend himself, was that it? No that can't be! So what if he is at a disadvantage? His friend Goku is always on that side when fighting someone stronger, but he just keeps going! The human body doesn't become strong overnight just because you wish it to. And it can't suddenly improve your overall abilities on a whim, but there is one thing that can give a person the sudden boost in power necessary. Your state of mind, spirit, and will...
'No. I refuse...'
Feelings of intense resolve, survival, and determination to live...
'To DIE!'
This near-death situation provided the necessary tools, the stress and danger ended up making Yamchas's body release what was called an adrenaline rush! Providing his heart and lungs to work faster, as it sends more oxygen to the major muscles of the body causing a surge of energy and strength, sharpening his senses from the brink of fainting.
"Hahahaha! Give up the struggling human, there is no way you can win no-"
*POW!*
"Uahhh!"
The Saibaking suddenly backs away after feeling a sharp pain in his feet, receiving a blow that he didn't see coming, being too busy in his own arrogance and glory that he was about to win, which gave Yamcha the chance to stand up and get his bearings.
Yamcha breathes heavily, before talking in a rather raspy voice "The only one dying today is you"
Now how did that happen? Wasn't Yamcha too outmatched to do anything? Well you see, the martial artist hasn't used everything in his arsenal just yet, what just transpired was that Yamcha used *Earth Gauntlet* one of the earth-bending skills that he had been training with every day.
Firstly he covered his arms with rocks from the surrounding terrain which served to protect the limb and also as an attack, the next step was to use a ki control trick call *Ko* (Temper) one of the things he learned after attaining and refining his *Mūga no Ryōiki* (Rising Above Oneself) along with the Thinker Cap for better results of control, this nifty trick was all about concentrating most of the ki that protected his body from damage and gave him strength, into one specific spot, that being his rock solid gauntlet-covered arm making sure that it doesn't end up dispersing itself.
The moment where he stopped the flow of ki in all the other parts of the body was one hell of a gamble, but by doing so he increased the output in his arm and charged it, making one heck of a Powerful Rock Solid Ki Charged Punch that by the looks on how the Saibaking was holding his leg? It had left a heck of an impression, printed onto its flesh.
"Y-Y-You VERMIN PIECE OF SHIT!" The alien screamed.
"Never again…will I allow myself to be humiliated by losing to you," Yamcha said, closing his eyes before breathing in and out "I will defeat you" He felt the inhibitions on his brain and doubt disappear "Once and for all, so I can move on!"
Something amazing then happened, this was something he had been playing around with, trying to break his limits by experimenting with the techniques and whatnot that Melvin gave him. *Kūgan no Metsuke (Sky Eye Overseer)* It was known for being the ultimate self-defense move, but it was not easy to learn, but by being in a life-threatening situation and on the edge of your consciousness, is where the survival instinct is cranked to the max. Giving the sensation that one's own body gained the eyesight of a bird. It made him feel like he was in a totally new 'zone' the perception and senses of body and mind reaching new heights, allowing Yamcha to feel and see things as if it was in slow motion. But it wasn't without flaw, he read that it was a predictive technique, depending on concentration, deductive ability, and physical capability to act on those predictions, all based on body, mind, and spirit.
Everything felt different, his eyes were wide open as if he had forgotten how to blink, a neutral expression adorned his face, it made him feel...so calm, and yet ready.
"Are you gonna attack now or what?" Yamcha asked his enemy.
The Saibaking was fuming with rage after that, he was so close to killing him, but he stood up and harmed him! Was that a fluke? Who knows, he was too angry to talk, chat time was over.
*Beep* Beep* Beep*
The beeping sound was once again echoing through the area, basically saying that the environment was gonna change once more. The whole place shifted in a way that felt like the blink of an eye. Where were they standing right now? Sand, everywhere as far as the eye could see was all sand, warm and arid between the fingers as the heat of the sun came down like it wanted to cook you up for dinner, there wasn't anything else to hide or use against the other. All those changes in place, the fighting against nature and the enemy had made him tired. The enemy was strong and had regeneration, but he couldn't do it forever, the advantage now is that the gravity had changed to a more advantageous level, only 5G now. But Yamcha didn't notice it, he had pushed his body so much and his focus was solely on the Saibaking and how to deal with it, nothing else mattered, all things were blocked out.
*SWOOSH*
Once again the fight re-starts with the two moving at such speeds that from the starting point a huge amount of sand was kicked over before two fists collided with each other, provoking another shockwave, before a storm of punches and kicks soon ensued as their figures disappear and appear again around the dessert. The Saibaking had more speed and strength thanks to its power-up that by all means would be able to take Yamcha on, but the former bandit new ability, for the time being, had accelerated the processing speed of visual information, allowing his brain to give in orders faster while maintaining a calm mind, while his opponent, on the other hand, was angry and frustrated, making it sloppy in the fight.
The user of the Wolf Fang Fist was like a feather that danced around the wind, dodging from any attack that would reach him, sometimes he ended up taking hits since the technique was not perfect yet, but once again, thanks to his reaction speed Yamcha was able to predict and focus his ki once again, right onto the area that the alien was about to hit, as to diminish damage, before changing back up. Was it hard? Yes. Did it need concentration? Yep. Was it dangerous and reckless? Heck yeah boy. But that's how a martial artist lives.
*BAM!* *POW!*
The man could try and make this into a battle of attrition, see who would last longer, that power-up, seemed to depend on a great power boost, it probably could not last forever, but neither would he. It was time to put the plan into action! Making the next move to count. Yamcha used *Tajū Zanzōken (AfterImage Strike)* which involved him moving in quick bursts of speed that created enough false images of himself, circling around the Saibaking. The after-image technique was a classic and this variation was well known to leave the enemy open to attack, confusing them, especially if they were either dump or, weren't really that well versed in the art of Ki sensing.
*Boom!* *BOOM!*
Frankly, the Saibaking was getting tired of this, when you use your best card and yet for some reason you can't finish things as fast as you hoped for, it just builds up for more slips up, he just went firing ki blasts all over the place, left and right but what he didn't know was that none of those were real. The real Yamcha took this chance to go forward and kicked some sand right onto his eyes, prompting him to rub them frantically Sure it was technically an underhanded tactic but who cares? It was still fair game if you want to live! Taking that chance the former bandit went to grab him by the arm and slammed him down onto the sand hard before charging a quick Kamehameha to burst forward towards him making one heck of a sandstorm thanks to that.
"Careful now, Sand tends to get everywhere"
*Cues: Stick To Your Guns by Sick Puppies*
The sand was falling down into the hole that the blast of energy had just done, but the fight wasn't over yet, with a burst of power the enemy flew out of it high into the air, still alive, the thing being harder to kill than he thought.
"I knew this wasn't going to be enough to end you. But I bet the damage to your pride was quite substantial, after all, sand does get everywhere" He said with a nice grin on his face.
What was the Saibaking response? It starts to curl his body together as he begins to charge a weirdly enough golden energy, at first covering around his alien body, then brings his arms and legs apart, the place shook violently from the energy.
"GIYAHA! KIKIIKIKIKI AHHA!"
It was so angry that it forgot how to speak even though he was supposed to be more evolved, but Yamcha could probably guess he was saying he was going to die with the attack he was making.
"Oh, you want to attack me with your strongest move? Fine by me, I really wanted to try this out, and you look like the perfect guinea pig"
Yamcha smirks with glee before powering up to his maximum power, removing his Niuweidao which let Gandálfr power him up further, taking advantage that the boost to his senses would keep his new state for longer. The former bandit then uses the principle of *Shū (Enfold)* allowing him to enshroud his sword with his ki in a much more refined fashion than what he tried at first, it made him feel as if his weapon was an extension of his own body, a sword that was already so strong and sharp, only served to strengthen it more. But that was just the sword itself plus his ki being channelled through it, there was still something left.
Magic...
Yamcha learned how to activate the magic within the blade, it wasn't too hard since every day he kept using the thinker hat, respecting the time, getting more and more interested to see the full potential of what he had. The first buff was *Cutting edge* which started by gathering air to the blade giving extra cutting power, then there was *Storm of Battle* which increased all sword damage by fifty percent as it glows lightly, and then yellow lightning starts to shroud it, but it wasn't Hamon, it was *Lightning blade* reinforcing the weapon with Lightning.
The two first enchantments would last for approximately sixty seconds. This was by all accounts...a combination of power that he was combining into his weapon and trying one hell of an attack. While at first, it seemed to be strong, it wasn't easy to maintain, it was more like one of those finishing moves that only works if the enemy stays still while you're charging. A sword that was two hundred times stronger than steel and sharp as an obsidian scalpel, shrouded by his well-trained ki, and reinforced with magic, two different energies merging into something truly powerful. The alien then opens up his body from the curl-up position letting out a reddish energy wave from his entire body and Yamcha bursts forth with his own attack that combined with the energy that flowed through his body took a slightly more orange-like color to it. Yamcha got onto his swordsman position, and finally went to do one of his most powerful attacks.
"Harikēnchoppu (Hurricane Chop)" Yamcha screams before swinging the blade and letting the energy out.
His attack creates a large and sharp horizontal energy attack as if it could cut anything on its path, lightning cracking like a force of nature alongside it. That large and newly made special move collided with the blood-red beam of energy making for a spectacular explosion that followed after! It was like two gods were fighting, dust flew everywhere due to the colliding energies, fighting for domination.
Yamcha who was holding his weapon after the powerful swing that he did with all his might and spirit, was using it as if it was a wand that controlled what he had just made, the man could see that the attacks were pushing against one another. But the gravity and the total amount of damage he took from his opponent earlier, were taking their toll on him. He gritted his teeth, trying to maintain the hold on his attack. Up above, the Saibaking was cackling as he saw that his foe was looking fatigued. He screeched out in his native Saiba tongue and pushed more of his energy into his own attack, sending a pulse that flowed through the reddish beam. It hit the ball of energy, which let out a rush of wind and pushed more downward towards Yamcha!
The Desert Bandit thought 'Ugh! This is really tough! The difference in power is still there, but if I stop my attack now, the beam will strike me & I'll be done for! And if I continue on, it'll overpower me! I need to get him to lose focus, even if it is for a second. But how?!'
Yamcha then starts remembering his friend Goku and how he faced every single one of his battles with bravery, sure he was a Saiyan and he had a much easier time getting stronger, but that didn't mean that even someone like him didn't have a hard time. He would never give up even when his enemy was several times stronger than him, he would instead have an awesome fight, enjoy it, and break through his limits even if his body was broken! Then why can't he do the same? He came all this way, is pain and exhaustion going to be the end of him?
"GRRRNNG! NO. MORE. EXCUSES!"
Yamcha decided that rather than trying to push his enemy attack forward with raw power with a move he had just tried out, mixing too many skills like a Saiyan trying to overwhelm his enemy, it was better to instead do what a human does best...being crafty. His body started to be covered with pulsing veins as if he was about to burst with how much strain the body was going through, but Yamcha does a completely different tactic, moving his sword upwards the scar-faced bandit was instead bending his attack which would, in turn, push the other attack he had been collided to as if it was a lever.
"Ngghrr!?"
The sudden change in direction had surprised the Saibaking who was focused only on pushing it forward, now it was being pushed upwards, which provoked some instability onto the energy integrity which was the mix now of two different kinds and some spice of magic onto it which resulted in...
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*
A draw. The explosion was out of this world as it could be seen from space, it pushed the sadness everywhere of that desert as if a nuclear bomb had just gone off, sparks of energy fell down like fireworks making it hard to see what was happening, honestly? One more blow like that and this dessert would turn into a glass floor.
"Grrr...Fucking piece off"
The Saibaking now back to his senses started looking around to see where the human had gone. The explosion had done a lot of damage but that dessert didn't have any place to hide, it was all sand but he could not see him, it was almost as if he disappeared from thin air.
*Fsssssshh*
That steam-like sound was the sign that it was over, his skin turning back to green showing that the power-up had run its course, landing down onto the sand he looked around hearing nothing but silence and the sun on its head.
"What a stupid insect giving so much trouble, all that struggle to end as sand being its burial place"
"It's actually pretty cozy when you try it"
A muffled voice was heard which made the Saibaking stop on his tracks before something came right behind him smoothly off the sand. After the attacks had exploded, Yamcha decided that it was the perfect chance to be sneaky, so he used *Earth Tunnelling* which was a skill meant to move through the earth, in this case, sand, to out-maneuver a foe by opening tunnels or by pulling the earth past them, imagine something like swimming through the ground.
"HAHH!"
With a ferocious swing from his blade, Yamcha went straight for his head, maybe it was due to the luck he had in escaping death twice so far, but one of the enchantments on his sword *Critical Hit* who had a twenty percent chance of triggering did, in fact, activate. That allowed him to deal three times the damage of a normal sword attack, as the poor bastard that was the alien could only keep its look of surprise as its head was separated from its body with a clean-cut, before falling into the sand. Purple-like blood spurted from its body before it started walking around like a headless chicken.
"Kuh...C-Coward" It was still able to talk.
Yamcha looked at his opponent and exclaimed "Hey, your Majesty... TIME TO SAY GOODBYE!"
Charging a powerful energy attack from his free hand, the former bandit made sure to blast off that ugly mug to hell making another sandstorm kick in the air.
"I DIDN'T FORGET ABOUT YOU!"
Turning around to where it was the body, Yamcha didn't want the chance of a new head being able to grow back into that body, he learned his lesson from Cell being able to do something like that even though he wasn't one hundred percent Namekian, he went forward slashing all over the place as if he was some slasher serial killer from a horror movie.
"Ratatatatatatata!"
Then finishing by throwing several energy blasts to the remaining chunks of meat after making a mess...Yamcha was panting, very much exhausted and racked with pain. However, a grin was on his face as it was now over.
"Huff...Huff...I...did it...I...won...oh fuck I'm fain-" He soon fell down, to both knees before planting himself face-down to the ground.

"Uuugh"
Yamcha starts to move around before his eyes slowly open up as he finally wakes up, and it seems he was back at his bed, the clothes from his body were back and the wounds healed, the tiredness was no longer there which was a relief, but he still had a little bit of a headache.
"What happened, last I remember I was..."
"CONGRATULATIONS!" Melvin said coming out under the bed.
"FUCK!" Yamcha is surprised and hits his head on the wall behind "Ouch! Geez, knock it off"
"Yamcha-Sama you finally awake," Puar said, seeing his friend and quickly going to hug him, Takibi wasn't there now because he was sleeping with head muffs on his head, courtesy of Melvin.
"Oh! Sorry to worry you little buddy but I'm ok now, but wait does that mean I won?" He asks.
"You sure did buddy, it was a great show that's for sure, made our blood pump but Puar kept whining a lot"
"S-Shut up! I was worried" Puar pouted.
"Man I gotta admit, that was one of the most difficult fights I have ever done, but I'm glad that somehow I managed to win at the end"
"Yeah don't sweat it, we removed the sword and gauntlets so it would be more comfortable, you must be hungry right?" Melvin asked.
"Oh yeah! Very much so, I feel like I could eat a whole bear right now"
"Then have this, it's not much but it's better than nothing"
Yamcha was so hungry that the moment Melvin offered him food he didn't even take the time to see what exactly was handed to him, but the moment the former bandit took the first and second chew…something was wrong and his face started to turn blue.
"PFFFFPPHHHP! IRK! Oh god, what the heck is this?" Yamcha asked, putting the bowl away from him.
"What do you mean? It's nothing much, there is rice for the carbs; fish, beef, chicken, and egg whites along with some protein powder, and then I decided to add some high-quality minerals, mixing it all together until it turned into a goo-like substance. Before covering it with powdered vitamins and calcium" Melvin said with a loving smile.
"YOU WANT TO KILL ME?! THAT'S NOT FOOD!" Yamcha screamed, clearly upset he had chomped down something like that.
"I never said it was going to be tasty, but it's good for the body," Melvin said, giving him a wink.
"Oh haha, you love making jokes huh? Don't go crying once I put something weird on your food"
Melvin gasps "Now why would you do that to someone so nice like me? after I worked so hard in giving you the best reward ever"
"You mean the poison you decided to mix up?" Yamcha could still taste the foul concoction.
"Let's go outside and I will show you"
Motioning to outside, Yamcha and Puar looked at each other before the cat shrugged and they decided to follow him, making sure to not wake up Takibi who was napping soundly. Once on the outside, Melvin points his staff to the left side of the house where something was waiting for them.
"Surprise!"
Yamcha looks at what appears to be a simple yet comfy looking hut of moderate size, the ceiling was painted blue and the bottom of it white, appearance-wise it was similar to Goku's grandpa Gohan house but twice as big, at the top of the front door we see some words written Ōkami House in red paint.
"...What's this? You made some sort of storage room?" Yamcha didn't quite get it, sure it was a nice gesture but then again.
"It looks quite lovely," Puar said with a smile.
"Eh? No, no, it's not a storage room, geez and here I thought it would look obvious. It's a training room dude"
"Of that size? It's way too small for any major training" Yamcha said, raising a brow.
"That's becau…you know what? No more beating around the bush! This is one of those magical things that look small on the outside, but large on the inside. How many places do you know who can do that only for training?" Melvin tried spelling out for him.
Yamcha started to think about what he just said, a magical place meant for training who is larger on the inside than outside? But that sort of thing could only be…
"Wait that can't be, is it a-"
"Is it a time chamber?" Puar was the one who said it instead, interrupting Yamcha.
"BINGO! That's right Wolf boi and Squishy cat"
"S-Squishy?" Puar gasped as if he was called fat.
"Yes it is, in fact, a Time Chamber but this one is different, while it still possesses the same training environment characteristics, the time you spend on it is not as great. One day outside equals one week's worth of training" Melvin explained.
"Whoa! That's awesome, I have my own time chamber?" Yamcha eyes glisten in excitement.
"Yeah and you can use it as many times as you want with no rule of it trapping you there forever"
"Why just one week instead of one year?" Puar asked, curious.
"Because I don't want him to abuse it, so much time alone is not good for the mind, besides one year is too long, imagine getting one year older every time you use it. Besides, after some research, I saw how useful a certain feature around here is, so I decided to add the option of turning it into a capsule! That way you can bring it along anywhere you want"
"No freaking way! That is gonna be so useful"
There were capsules cheap enough that you don't need to be rich to buy them, but Yamcha never really felt the need to have that many, his house was where it needed to be and he had your average hovercar in case he needed to go to the city without flying if he ever needed one in case there was something huge needed transportation he would buy one, he was just really careful with his money, last time he used too much just to buy something expensive…it didn't end well, long story short, expensive doesn't mean better in some cases.
"Did you think I almost killed you for no reason in that battle with the alien goof booger? This is a worthy reward of a job well done"
"Yeah you even made that thing bleed, it was so real"
"Well I had to make it real, I'm just that detailed,"
"I admit man…this is great, I have fun exploring it later on but for now I'm hungry so let's eat some real food!" Yamcha pumped his fist up.
"Yay," Melvin and Puar said.
A\N: I have seen multiple examples of martial arts Manga where the stuff that happened wasn't as crazy as DB or DBZ (where your basically moon buster if you are stronger than Roshi) there were training routines that explained how to gain muscle mass to the best degree, speed, and reflexes that would impress even a cheetah, great determination and making you keen to a superhuman, just through sheer effort! I enjoyed that very much, examples of that being Kengan Ashura and TOUGH. They are really good reads when it comes to understanding fighting styles in a more detailed and explained fashion. You may think that the reward is a bit much (or not) but you gotta understand, in a world where the villains get so overly powerful and our Saiyans get multiple transformations by anger or plot, something like this is a must and at the same time not completely exaggerated.
This so far is the last reward that will be given to Yamcha as I don't have any more ideas for better, bigger challenges or stuff to give and I think you guys are ok with that right? (I mean some of these were nice ideas from you guys) We have given plenty to the guy, but this is not the end for Melvin, we see more of the guy down the line. But now? How about we give our furry friends some love? ;) (By that I mean Puar and Takibi)
The power-up for the Saibaking was great, he doubled his power becoming a bigger threat, and even though Yamcha was outclassed, thanks to his reflexes and crafty moves it ended up saving his hide. The wolf guy did a very strong move infusing magic and ki at the end, but even a final move as cool as that, you can't simply punch power with more power, that's why he played dead when his foe power-up was all drained. When it was time to attack, the Saibaking didn't see it coming because we don't know if Saibamen can sense energy or how smart they are when in a situation in which one was sure of winning. I use a percentage such as 69,000 + 100% to get the Saibaking power level result, if that's wrong tell me.
*Yamcha Power Level*
After the Cell Saga, before the Real Training Began: 65,000
After one year in the Time Chamber with Qigong, meditation, and Yoga: 67,000
After his own Training routine when not in challenges, plus using the rewards to his advantage: 69,000
*Saibaking Power Level*
At the start of the fight: 69,000
After Imperial Wrath Power up: 138,000
