I don't own Harry Potter… this is just a quick one-shot I wrote in English the other day. Meant to be Hermione/Draco but could be pretty much any couple.
She didn't pay attention as she boarded the train with her friends. If she had, she would've noticed the look of longing in his eyes as he watched her chatting away. His thoughts were disturbed as his friends approached him. He dismissed them with a wave of his hand and walked off towards the Head's compartment. She, at the same time, was leaving her friends to make her way to the Head's compartment. She arrived before him and sat down, anxious to see who the new Head Boy was. She wasn't waiting long. He was not surprised when he saw her, because he knew she would be Head Girl, and he had been pining for her all summer. He didn't know when it started, but he knew it did, and he wasn't going to let her slip away. When she saw him a look of surprise was plastered on her face. She didn't know who she was expecting but is certainly wasn't him. She knew they would be sharing the Heads dorm so she was quite excited to see him, but she didn't realize how excited he was until he bent down and kissed her. She was shocked, but it soon faded and a smile came to her face as she thought "Me and him… who would have guessed?"
