wrote a couple omakes/snippets that shipped Minato from Persona 3 with Ophis from DxD. Figure I'd repost them from DaD Forum Omake section. MessiahXDragon snippet series: ongoing.

8. God's Gift, A Wild Card Part 1

Author's Note: The second of the three Omakes I wanted to write that grew into being full length chapters of their own, only the difference is this one grew into two chapters. Though, let it be known I don't believe that the last of these three omakes will be as long as this one.

I'll be honest, I expected there to be more of this being written about. It gives an alternative to the 'time traveling children trope' and gives a little extra room of fun with the 'magic baby trope' as well.

I get the games are a niche (the remake of the first game is on steam) and the anime adaptation was awful (The Star Children made it somewhat watchable) but there are elements that can be salvaged. For Example.

You are about to witness a tale, the legend of Messiah, that will be handed down generation after generation.

Aka, Conception Series crossover. It's time for a baby boom! PART 1

Ophis looked at her bed within the Arisato residence, she had barely used it as she shared Minato's bed at night and when she did use the bed it was mostly for decompressing and getting away from things for a while.

That same bed had melted along with the floor beneath it, leaving a large hole into what looked like an underground cavern. Ophis looked down the hole and could hear the sound of dripping water, looking around her room she saw familiar paw tracks and a note written on her desk.

'I am so, so, so, sorry. It was an accident I swear, no disrespected meant, it was just before I was meant to leave but I wanted to take one last look around and-'

Ophis squinted her eyes as she tried to read the rushed and uneven writing of the note, getting the general idea that what happened was an accident and the one responsible was too ashamed of it to confess at the time.

'Respectfully, Mu. P.S. Please don't tell the others'

"Perverted Plant" Ophis muttered, more annoyed that the chimera Minato had picked off the streets didn't say anything about this than not having a private bed anymore due to the creature's dissolving spit.

Getting Minato involved he looked over the note and the room before sighing deeply, summoning a flying Persona to check out the underground cave to make sure they weren't at risk of the house collapsing into the ground, he turned to Ophis and told her the bad news "I can fix the damage to the room but the bed is gone"

"Hmm" Ophis nodded, happy that the giant hole will be dealt with soon "I'll get another bed then" having an idea of what Minato was about to suggest she cut him off "I can get one myself, I have some in my hoard I never really got around to using before"

"Alright" Minato looked to the door frame for a moment before furrowing his brow and looking back to the area Ophis's bed was previously "Magic would handle moving it in, just be sure to get the measurements beforehand and let me know if you need help with anything"

"I'll be fine" Ophis reassured Minato, while she wouldn't mind looking for a new bed with Minato, she knew he had a busy schedule for the day and didn't want to upend everything all over something as small as a bed.

Besides, this would give her a chance to kill two beds with one stone. She had a promise to keep with Vali and his team.

"These books… their speaking to me…" Le Fay said with hushed whispers as she eyed several books on podiums, magic coming off them in waved as they beckoned the promising young Magician to take them.

"Ignore them, there's a few grand grimoires over here" Ophis said, taking Le Fay's hand and pulling her away from the beckoning books as their seductive allure became one of panicled calling before falling silent.

Arthur walked up to Le Fay with a worried look, sticking close to her to make sure she was okay as they continued to explore Ophis's hoard. While they were only half expecting Ophis to actually let them pick something out of her hoard for their own it was still a surprise that Ophis would appear and give them the chance to tag along, when they saw Ophis hoard they were surprised at the size of it.

As far as the eye could see relics and other items of note appeared before them, from grimoires holding the research of dozens of Magicians to vials containing water from the fountain of youth to weapons that could injure gods. There was also some powerful holy power permeating one section of the hoard, enough so that both Vali and Kuroka avoided it at all costs, when asked what it was Ophis shrugged honestly not remembering what was over there.

Team Vali looked around as they considered what to take as gifts from Ophis, although their attention was drawn to Ophis several times deciding on which of the beds she kept in her hoard to take out.

Those that were missing their pillows were automatically ruled out, Ophis having taken them out for various reasons over the years, and as she checked each of the beds she quickly learnt they were all too big to fit in her room.

Frowning, Ophis allowed herself to sink into the strange water bed that was among those preserved in her hoard as she considered where to get a new bed and how much did one cost.

"All of these beds and not one right" Bikou commented, using his staff to cautiously poke at the arms that sprouted from one of the beds Ophis had "Sort of like that fairy tale, Golden Locks and the three bears" he paused for a moment before turning to Arthur "Isn't that the one with some girl breaking into a family's home, eating their food and sleeping in the child's bed because the parent's weren't right"

"Yes, Goldilocks and the three Bears, that's the one" Arthur answered, a sheathed Roman gladius and shield forged by fairies and bless by Sol Invictus at his side "Would you like our help in finding another bed? While I'm not certain myself I'm sure there should be someone with the Pendragon family that would know about good beds"

"You could try that special bed" Kuroka suggested as she put down a jewellery box that had a mirror able to observe far away places regardless of the protections in place, turning to Le Fay the Nekosou saw the Magician giving her a puzzled look "You know, 'the most comfortable bed in the world' or something like that. You know where it was hidden, right Le Fay?"

Ophis tried to get up but found no leverage within the grasp of the water bed, shifting what weight she had Ophis bounced out of the water bed and as she landed she looked to Le Fay "Most comfortable bed?"

Le Fay looked visible uncomfortable at the question, looking away before she answered "Well, there is a bed a number of renowned Magicians consider to be the most comfortable in the world. It's rather new in regards to magical items, it's been barely used as well"

"And is suppose to increase one's chance of conception by 2%" Kuroka added, causing Le Fay to blush, knowing the Magician among them wouldn't add that piece of information "Which isn't really that much, plenty of medicines could offer that or better"

Ophis frowned at that piece of information "I'll, pass on that" her sudden response causing the others to pause "I don't want a bed where people performed that weird thing you people do"

"Weird thing, what weird thing?" Bikou asked, honestly not sure what Ophis was talking about.

Looking up with a puzzled expression Ophis pouted "I can't remember what it's called, but it's that thing were you rub against each other. You make weird noises while you do it and leaves behind a smell"

The Team Vali looked puzzled as they tried to figure out what Ophis was referring to, Vali eyes widened as he figured out what act Ophis was talking about.

"Le Fay, is there something wrong with this bed?" Vali asked, the way Le Fay was acting telling him there was something off about this comfortable bed. And more importantly, get away from that topic Ophis unknowingly brought up.

"Well, the bed itself is less the issue than the person who made it" Le Fay took a breath before she continued "It was created by an apprentice of Aleister Crowley"

The mentioning of that name drew in everyone's attention, Kuroka and Bikou took the news with a curious look while Arthur's expression hardened and Vali frowned at the name.

"Who?" Ophis, on the other hand, didn't know who Aleister Crowley was.

"This really infamous Magician from England, supposedly 'terrorized' Europe" Bikou said, turning to the Pendragon Siblings "That's about all I know of him"

"Terrorize wouldn't be the word I'd use, but it's not far off" Le Fay said, wincing slightly "He caused a lot of issues while he was alive, almost revealed the supernatural to the public several times and so much that a great deal actually got through to the public" Le Fay sighed "We kept the more sensitive information secret, but the name of Golden Dawn existing in the modern era came to light"

Ophis frowned, something about the story regarding Crowley not adding up "Why wasn't he stopped sooner?"

[1] Le Fay scratched her cheek "Because of the one fact most overlook due to Crowley's perversion, his skill and ability as a Magician cannot be understated" she frowned, remembering the words one of her oldest teachers told her "Many compared him to a young Merlin, him being a reincarnation of Merlin would explain his ability and perversion, so many thought he was"

Le Fay thought back to the note books of Crowley's her teacher kept, wanting to remember the promising young student instead of a perverted beast who nearly ended the world as they knew it several times, and as much as she didn't want to admit it Crowley's work was brilliant. She could see why so many saw him as a second Merlin.

"In the end, it was easier to leave him to his own devices and clean up his messes as they came. He died decades ago but what he did can still be felt in the world to this day" The young Pendragon could already tell what they wanted to ask, shrugging her shoulder she answered their unasked question "It was honestly a surprise he didn't join a Peerage, no one knows for certain why he didn't"

"So, people stay away from this bed because it was made by someone connected to Crowley?" Ophis asked, wanting to make sure she understood why the supposedly most comfortable bed in the world was barely used.

Le Fay nodded "Mostly, the creator themselves disappearing shortly after making it is another. We have his notes on it but it's written in a cipher, though we've deciphered enough to know it's harmless"

"Still, even though it's harmless they didn't want to take any risks with it. Is that right?" Vali asked, wanting to make sure he understood that the bed's background was the main issue with it.

"Yep, locked away in one of the vaults under the Golden Dawn's control. No one goes near it due to how high risk low reward it is" Le Fay answered, she looked to Ophis and saw the Dragon God had one of her snakes bring her a scroll.

"I, want to check out this bed" Ophis said, holding up a scroll "This will let me look into an item's past, if it's as brand new as you say it is I will take it"

Arthur stepped forward alarmed "Wait a moment, are you seriously going to take a bed one of Aleister Crowley's apprentices made?"

Ophis nodded "Their not using it, and I doubt they'd notice it gone" she explained her gaze shifting to her surrounding hoard "Besides, if it's not fit for my current use I can just store it here. Less chance of someone finding it"

"If you are set on taking it, at least let us look it over" Arthur asked of Ophis, while he knew he couldn't stop her his older brother instincts were kicking in "Just to make sure it's safe and that there's nothing funny about it"

Considering the idea Ophis nodded, better to be safe than sorry "Okay" taking a moment to consider the leadership advice she got recently she decided to test it out "Thank you for worrying about me, Arthur"

Seeing the heir of Pendragon's expression brighten at her words told her that positive reinforcement worked, turning around Ophis made sure to make a note of it. As she looked away she didn't seeing Le Fay pulling her brother's ear while she pouted, the others shaking their head at the antics.

After confirming the bed was mostly brand new, the only one's who used it before being ten Magicians that slept in it to see if it reacted with nothing happening, and Team Vali finding nothing odd about it outside of a very minor fertility boost Ophis tried out the bed to see if it was to her liking. Which it was.

Not only was the bed acceptable it was also just big enough to fit in her room, while she had to shift things around slightly it fit snugly in, after changing the bed sheets to something that hadn't been in a vault for handful of decades Ophis laid on it to claim the fruits of her search.

'Ah~ Comfy' Ophis thought to herself as she let out a long breathe, happy to know that the information on the bed she got from Kuroka and Le Fay was accurate, rolling around to get a better feel for the bed. Getting comfortable opened up that leadership book she recently acquired, intent on gaining it's secrets after seeing how such simple tricks could have such large impacts.

However, there was one issue that quickly became apparent as she read through the book. The bed was too comfy, to such a degree she could feel it actually hinder her learning ability, getting out of bed Ophis sat down in her beanbag chair to continue reading the book with plans to listen to music on the new bed tomorrow.

A while later at dinner Minato looked to Ophis, his mind going back to the events of the day before when he saw the hole where her bed used to be. He had already called Mu about what happened, the nervousness in their voice told Minato that his chimera plant dragon knew they had done wrong. There wasn't much he could have done at the moment so for the time being Minato scolded his former charge for keeping it a secret and not telling them anything.

"Any luck finding a new bed?" Minato asked.

Ophis nodded as she swallowed her food "Yes, I found one more comfortable than my previous one. It fits in fine after a little work"

Minato nodded, relieved to hear the news and that Ophis got a better bed.

"So, are you going in lay in it tonight or are you spending another night with Minato?" Katina asked, pointing a fork at Ophis to emphasis her question "Not to sound rude, but there's not much point in having a bed if your not going to use it"

"That's, a fair point" The Infinite Dragon God agreed with the former Queen of Diodora's peerage, the bed took up a great deal of space and she could have used that for other means, she thought about replacing the bed but didn't consider if she needed it due to how she had been sleeping with Minato every night.

After all the effort she put into getting the bed, along with enlisting Vali and his team's help for it, the least she could do was use the bed as it was meant for. However, even if it was comfy Ophis preferred sleeping with Minato.

"Minato. Would you, sleep in my bed tonight?" Ophis asked, feeling strangely nervous as she did so. She didn't know why as she and Minato had been sharing the same bed for a while now, although this would be the first time she invited someone into bed with her. Was that the reason, the Infinite Dragon asked herself.

With a nod her bed mate give his answer "Sure, I don't mind you taking me to your bed tonight. A change of pace could be nice, besides with us together we can break in your new bed faster"

"W-What!?" Chloe asked after momentarily choking on her drink due to her surprise at the choice of words Minato used.

Minato looked at the former Pawn with a raised eyebrow "Breaking in a bed, basically soften it up. New beds tend to be stiff so it takes a while for them to conform to one's body, they usually tend to get more comfortable afterwards" Minato thought back to his bed at the SEES dorm, it took a while for him to break it in. He remember Junpei suggested bouncing on it to break it in faster but Minato didn't want to risk breaking it.

"O-Oh, sorry I thought you meant something else" Chloe said, letting out a fake cough as she took a sip from her drink as she got a pat on a back from Katherine. The two shared a look that told the former Pawn that they were all thinking the same thing.

Ophis wasn't sure what the others were thinking about but didn't give it much thought, instead her thoughts were more focus on later tonight. In her new comfy bed with Minato beside her, who knows he might even decided to sleep in her bed from now on as well. For a moment, she was thankful for the pervy chimera for destroying her old bed.

"A bit bigger than your old one" Minato commented as he saw Ophis's new bed for himself, the bed frame seemed to be one piece crafted by hand with a simplistic design with a ring of twelve circles with a trio of smaller circles carved into the headboard "It looks great"

Minato looked over to the window to double check a stray breeze wouldn't blow anything over, it was a warm night so they decided to open the windows a crack while Minato himself was wearing thinner pyjamas because of it.

"The best part is how comfy it is, see for yourself" Ophis encouraged Minato to get into bed, she was already in waiting on him.

Curious about Ophis's statement Minato got into bed and quickly found out what she meant, it felt as though the stress of the day was leaving his body as his muscles eased. Letting out a content sigh Minato glanced over to a smiling Ophis before they snuggle closer together, the sheets only covering them from the waist up due to the night's heat.

Letting out a yawn Minato could feel himself around starting to fall asleep, his eyes growing heavy as they became harder to keep open "To be honest, I may decide to sleep here from now on" he murmured as held Ophis.

"I won't stop you" Ophis said as she basked in the warmth she felt with Minato, that combined with the comfort of the bed, the silence with the only sound she could hear being Minato's gentle breathing, it all combined into an experience Ophis loved for lack of a better term.

Closing her eyes for a moment Ophis rested her head against Minato, the heat of the weather being nothing compared to the warmth between the two of them.

A warmth that seemed to only grow when they were close together.

A warmth that spread from Ophis chest and circled around her entire being, a sensation she never knew before meeting Minato and loved him for being the reason she got to experience it.

A warmth that felt… different then the times Ophis felt it before with Minato. Her body was growing hotter as the warmth in her chest continued to grow in intensity, opening her eyes Ophis looked over to the clock by the bed as it showed several hours had already passed despite it seeming to be only several minutes to her.

Kicking the bed sheets off her didn't do anything as she tried to figure out what was happening to her, was she so content being beside Minato in this new bed that she didn't notice hours pass by her.

'Bed… oh no' Ophis realized what the cause was, the bed was having a strange effect on her and likely Minato as well as he slept. Ophis began to feel odd, her face growing hot to the point she knew it would be red while it was starting to become harder to think. She tried to use her power but whatever was happening meant she couldn't focus to use it, using what sense was left she tried to wake up Minato in the hopes he had a Persona that could counter what was happening.

"Minato, wake up, Minato" she began breathing heavy, her hot breath as she continued to get hotter. She could feel something was about to happen, what it was she didn't know only that her instincts told her something was coming "Minato, Minato, Minato, Minato-!"

As she called out to him, Ophis mind went blank as she slumped against Minato like a puppet that had it's strings cut. Completely unaware of what was now under their sheets.

[Meanwhile, In Minato's Dreamscape]

[2] "Euden, to your left" Minato called out to the dragon-blooded prince as an undead warrior raised it sword up high to cut him down, faster than the undead creature could react Euden cut slayed it. Euden jumped back from the heat of the battle to regain his bearings with Alfonse doing the same, looking forward to a dragon with a dark miasma pouring out of it as it stared them down.

The axe Minato held transformed into a gun, the original form of Breidablik before Minato figured out how to transform the weapon.

"Let us finish this, none of this things servants will be able to catch up with Sonic and without it's relic to protect it means we can end this once and for all" Alfonse said as he raise his relic weapon "We just need to keep it distracted until the others get here" he whispered so that only Euden and Minato could hear him.

Euden nodded as he readied his sword "Got it, let's do this together and bring this nightmare to an-"

"Something odd is happening"

Those words brought Minato out of his immersion in his dream, the world around him faded away as he took off the white coat he wore and grew back to his real height. Finding himself in what appeared to be space, Minato turned around even as the figures of Alfonse and Euden looked to him as they faded away with the dream.

Looking to the source of the voice Minato saw Astraeus, the Titan of Stars and Astrology, looking up at a series of constellations. Once Minato was looking up at the constellations he noticed the symbols of the Western Zodiac changed slightly before morphing back to what they were originally.

"It's been doing that for a few hours now, I'm not entirely sure what it means. Either a new style of drawing the Zodiac is becoming popular or something is effecting you directly" The astrological Titan said before turning to Minato "I felt like I should let you know, it's not doing anything else as far as I can tell but with this new world it's better to be safer than sorry"

Minato nodded, thankful for the heads up, before looking up at the constellations again before the sounds of a tapping foot drew his attention. Looking behind him Minato saw his ally in his recent dream tapping his foot with his arms crossed, Minato gave the blue hedgehog an apologetic shrug before giving the blue blur a high five as he began to wake up.

[Awakening from a Dream (?)]

As Minato began to wake up he noticed something was off. As he opened his eyes he saw Ophis had her head against right up against him, she was breathing heavily as her hot breath danced across his skin

"Ophis" not getting a response Minato called out to her again, gently shaking her to get her attention, slowly Ophis raised her head to meet Minato's gaze and in doing so his worry grew. Her face was bright red as she looked at him "Wha-"

Before he could ask what was wrong his bed mate buried her face in his neck as one of her hands snake up his shirt to rest against his chest "Hold, me" Ophis said between breathes, her breathing becoming more eased as it seemed whatever had come over her was lessening "Please…

Not knowing what was happening he did what she asked, as he hugged her Minato placed his hand on her back as he scanned the room trying to figure out what came over her. Whatever was happening with Ophis he couldn't detect anything effecting her meaning that whatever was the cause was likely gone already.

Memories of the battle at the Love Hotel with SEES came to mind when Minato looked to Ophis, while it didn't seem to be as severe as what they went through the fact it happened at all was worrying.

"What happened?" he asked hoping she would have insights into what came over her, Ophis's breathing had levelled out but she still held onto Minato.

[3] "The, bed… I think the bed has… hidden magic" hearing her answer Minato moved to get out of the bed that was affecting his friend, however he was stopped as Ophis tightened her grip on him "Don't, go"

Minato put his hand over the back of Ophis's head as he whispered into her ear "I won't leave you, we'll get out together" feeling her grip loosen a little Minato looked over to the nearby clock, saw it wasn't much longer till dawn, and saw the lamp beside the bed "Is it okay if I turn on the light?"

Getting the okay he turned on the lamp, it's light filling the room giving him a chance to see Ophis and the room in more detail.

Looking her over Minato was relieved that she appeared fine at first glance, the only thing out of place was the bed head with locks of hair sticking out at random. Gently Minato lifted Ophis into his arms, the Dragon God didn't resist as he lifted her up in a bridal carry, as he finally noticed something in the bed.

Feeling the subtle tensing of his body Ophis followed Minato's gaze to see the four unknown objects under the bed sheets, the two shared a look that told the other they didn't know what the things were or where they came from.

Slowly getting out of bed, Ophis still in his arms as several of her snakes emerged ready to attack or restrain at a moments notice, Minato gripped the edge of the sheets closest to him. Waiting several seconds to see if the unknown objects moved, to which they didn't, Minato pulled the bed sheets off in one smooth motion and before the sheets had time to fall Minato summoned the Shield of Ajax to protect them should whatever was under the bed sheets attacked.

No attack came as they saw what was under the bed sheets, both were confused at as they looked at what appeared in the middle of the night. Ophis not knowing what they were and Minato knowing what they were but not why they would be here.

"Are those Russian Nesting Dolls?" Minato asked himself, his summoned Personas approaching to handle the giant Matryoshka Doll. Still, Minato kept his shield up as he changed his Persona to Ouroboros to help him stay awake.

He had a feeling he wasn't getting any more sleep anytime soon.

The four large Matryoshka Dolls were placed in the middle of the living room floor on a blanket, lined up side by side with all of them facing the same way. Everyone had their eyes fixed on the mysterious nesting dolls, Minato sat on the couch with Ophis still in his arms as his Personas looked over the unknown dolls as Katina and her group woke up just as the sun was rising due to all the noise of them rushing about.

Each doll was one hundred centimetres in height with a diameter of just under half of that, each were mostly light grey with a sleeping face and a small symbol at it's base. The symbol being U with a line that arched up and down into a bending line that resembled the movements of a snake, and not without reason.

"No doubt about it, that's the Ophiuchus symbol" Joseph said as he looked over the dolls to make sure nothing else was on them "Though, why that of all things would be on these I haven't a clue"

"A what symbol?" Chloe asked as she watch Katherine knelt down to get a better look at the dolls with a distant look in her eyes for moment as she remember her home in Russia.

"Ophiuchus, it's considered a 13th Zodiac sign along side the western Zodiac such as Leo, Gemini, Taurus and Scorpio" Lilith explained, her eyes directing the others to Minato as she smiled "It's also known as the Snake Bearer due to the constellation appearing to be a man holding the tail and head of a snake that's wrapped around his waist"

Minato and Ophis gave the others starring at them unamused looks, even as Minato still had Ophis in his arms as she sat on his lap "Please save any comments for later"

"I don't have the energy for anything at the minute, you have anything you want to add?" Katina asked as she turned to the former Peerage for a moment before looking back to the dolls. Her eyes narrowing as she looked at the 13th Zodiac symbol on them "Is it just me, or does that snake part almost look like a partial infinite symbol?"

Ophis's head whipped around to give the Ophiuchus symbol another look, as Katina had pointed out it did have a partial infinite symbol with one half of each arch missing, if a copy of the same symbol was flipped around it could make a perfect infinite symbol.

"I'll be honest, I didn't think your eggs would look like Matryoshka Dolls" Katherine said as she looked to a wide eyed Ophis "Don't get me wrong, as a child of mother Russia I'm flattered, I just never expected them to come out like these little matrons"

The only response the Infinite Dragon God could offer was opening her mouth for a moment before closing it shut, the idea of creating spawn to aid in her battle against the Great Red was an option she had considered once before discarding it as offering up one of her snakes to someone could give her the same results faster.

"Katherine, please don't joke about such things" Maria said as she sat down beside Minato and looked to Ophis "You mentioned the new bed you got was somehow involved" Ophis turned away from dolls to Maria "Do you know where it came from, who made it?"

"It, was made by an apprentice of Aleister Crowley" Ophis answered, not really giving it much thought as she wondered if some of her power went into the dolls and trying to figure out what it meant. Feeling everyone's eyes on her Ophis glanced to Minato "You, know about him?"

[4] "Personally, I know a great deal about Crowley" Minato answered, feeling the Persona of Crowley rising up to the surface of the Sea of Souls eager to serve.

Before anyone could say anything else a rattling sound silence them, turning to the source they saw the four nesting dolls beginning to shake in place. With nothing outside affecting them that could only mean the source of the shaking was from the inside, everyone looked on as the shaking slowly grew more intense.

"I was only joking about the egg thing" Katherine stuttered out as she was transfixed on what was happening.

The dolls stopped shaking a moment later, all four standing still before…

*POP!* *POP!* *POP!* *POP!*

Four popping sounds were heard as the Matryoshka Dolls broke in half, the top halves shooting upwards into the air before breaking apart into dust, showing what was within the dolls for all to see.

Inside one was a little boy with short black hair and silver reptilian eyes, he wore a sleeveless shirt with a half jacket on top and long trousers that had a sheathed sword at his side and a shield on his left arm.

In the next was a girl wearing a wool cap with locks of brown hair spilling out and winter clothes with a shoulder guard on one shoulder as she held a weapons twice her height in hand, brown reptilian eyes blinked sleepily.

Following her another girl with blue reptilian eyes pushed up her glasses as she held onto a staff that looked like someone took an IV drip and tried to make it look like Hermes Staff Caduceus, she looked to those beside her as adjusted her pink hat with a medical cross on it.

The last one was a boy with stripped hair of black and blue hidden beneath a hat, the hat with the bandanna around his neck, the ammo belt and guns in hand the small boy looked like a cute tiny outlaw in the American wild west. Lifting up his hat revealed a sharp pair of dark blue eyes with reptilian slits like the others.

[5] Among the four they all shared two traits, a card on a necklace around their necks and a serpent that looked like one of Ophis's snake extending from their backs. The four children looked at the card necklaces and snakes with confused looks before turning to Minato and Ophis, once their eyes landed on the two the expression on the mysterious children's faces brightened the room with large smiles of joy.

"Um" Katina said, having no idea what was happening "Who are you calling, Mama and Papa?" as the children turned to her in unison Katina flinched back.

The boy with the sword pointed to Minato and Ophis "They are, Papa is holding Mama in his arms" the boy looked at Katina confused "Who are you lady?"

Katina subtly gestured to the former Peerage to be on guard as she knelt down to be more at eye level with the small child, who was just under 3 feet tall (90cm) "I'm Katina, me and my friends work for your… Papa after he help us get out of a bad place" putting on a smile she tried to fish for more information "Now, who are you four cuties?"

The children inched away from Katina and closer to Minato and Ophis "I'm Ophiuchus, I'm a Sword class"

"I'm Ophiuchus, a-a Lancer Class" the girl in the wool hat said as she made several steps back as she made sure the other were always behind her.

The girl with the medical equipment repurposed into a staff looked around as she was the first to reach Minato and Ophis as they stayed on the sofa "I'm Ophiuchus, Cleric Class

The western boy kept his little guns in hand and a sharp eye on Katina "Ophiuchus, and I happen to be a Gunslinger" the boy turned to Minato "Is this strange lady safe?"

Katina smile twitched "I'm not the strange one here"

"She's fine, give it time and she'll warm up to you" Minato said absent-mindedly, his mind a storm as he tried to process what was happening. Hearing a growling stomach Minato latched onto that as he turned to Adam "I think it's time for breakfast"

Adam nodded as he headed for the kitchen "I'll get started on that, do you kids want any in particular?"

The four children born from the dolls looked to each before shaking their heads "Anything would be fine" Sword Ophiuchus said as the children followed Adam into the kitchen with Eve and Lilith following them.

Ophis turned to Minato "What, just happened?"

"I think, we just became parents" Minato answered as he began to feel a little faint, fortunately Maria was at his side to keep him upright.

The kids sat down for breakfast with Minato and Ophis at the table with Minato's Personas staying with them as most of the former peerage left with only Katina staying behind, the mysterious children happily ate their breakfast. Minato raised an eyebrow as the one with the sword summoned a snake to drink from his glass of milk.

"If you want a straw you could just ask for it" Ophis offered, stopping the sword wielder who retracted his snake with a nod. Before Minato had a chance to get a straw for the child Ophis had already summoned one of her snakes to get one for each of the children at the table.

"Thanks mum" The gunslinging child said quietly as he took the straw immediately, looking a little embarrass as he used it to drink his milk.

The only reaction the Dragon God had to being called a mum was a twitch in her hand, while unseen by the children Minato noticed it as he held onto Ophis's hand. Both in the same position of suddenly being parents without warning, neither knowing how their 'children' were even made.

The Cleric Child looked to Minato and Ophis with a worried look "Dad, Mum, are you okay?" Caught off guard by the question the two nodded, in response the Cleric raised her staff "If your not feeling well I can use my magic to heal you both right up"

"We're, fine" Ophis reassured the healer amongst the siblings, her eyes roaming over to the staff she held "Where did you get that from?" the Cleric Child looked confused at Ophis's question so she pointed at the staff "Where did the staff come from"

The Cleric blinked as she pointed to her staff "I was born with it, all Star Children are born with basic equipment for their chosen Class along with the skills to use them" the now known Star Child said as she lifted on her staff "Meaning we're ready to help in hunting monsters, I can heal us up"

"I can slash the monsters" The Sword Star Child unsheathed his sword and held it up, standing on his chair to do a heroic pose.

"I can skewer them" The Lancer Star Child said as she held up her weapon with both hands needed to carry it's heavy weight.

The gunslinger twirled his gun "And I can shoot them" to prove his point the gunslinger aimed his gun and fired it, the bullet going through an open window to shoot a branch off a tree.

"That's a REAL gun!" Minato exclaimed as he jumped to his feet, faster than the children could react he took their weapons off of them and put them out of reach of the children. Katina poked her head out of the hallway, after she ducked and covered when she heard the gun shot.

"Hey, we need those!" The Lancer Star Child said as she jumped up in an attempt to get the weapons back "If we don't have them how else are we going to fight monsters"

Joseph got down to eye level with the Lancer Star Child "You don't have to fight any monsters, and I can assure you no one here would force you to"

"But, wait? Fighting is what Star Children are born for, if they didn't want us to fight than why did mum and dad" The Lancer Star Child stopped herself, her eyes widening as she looked between Minato and Ophis, she bit her lip as she asked "You didn't plan on having us, is that it"

Everyone froze at those words, their reactions being more than enough proof for the Star Children.

"Do you know what Star Children are?" The Sword Star Child asked those around them, looking to his parents with a part of him praying that they knew that much.

After a painful moment, Ophis shook her head "No. We don't know what Star Children are, nor where there plans for you" some of those present recoiled at the words of the Infinite Dragon, but before a second passed she continued "But, that doesn't mean your unwanted"

The Star Children looked amongst themselves before turning their full attention to their mother, Minato looked to Ophis wanting to hear what she had to say.

"Sometimes, the best things that can happen to us are the things that weren't planned for. I never planned on meeting Minato, your father" she paused for a moment as she looked to him with a smile "Even so, I have always been thankful I did meet him. I've, never been happier"

Minato smiled at Ophis's words, deciding to add to her line of though he knelt down to be at eye level with his Star Children "You can't really plan for miracles to happen, they tend to come as a surprise" lifting up the Lancer into the air Minato smile grew when he saw his daughter's own "Happy Birthday, our four little miracles"

*Sniff* *Sniff*

Looking over they saw Maria with a tissue "I'm sorry, it's just" Maria gestured to Minato and Ophis "Those words, it hasn't been an hour and you both sound like such good parents. Children grow up too fast for their mothers"

"Ah! Please don't cry, um" Star Child Cleric searched her mind for anyway to stop the unknown lady from crying "Who are you?"

"Oh" Maria stopped as she looked to the Star Child "I'm Maria, and in a way I, my husband Joseph, Adam, Eve and Lilith are sort of like your father's parental figures"

"Does, that mean your our grandma?" the Gunslinger Star Child asked.

Maria froze for a moment before scoping up the Star Children into her arms with the brightest smile on her face "Oh, your adorable little miracles can call me granny all you want"

"We have to child proof everything" Lilith said as she looked around the house for anything that could endanger a child.

"We'll go out looking for good schools" Eve said as she and Adam left to find good schools and to buy want they need to raise children.

"I'll go prepare their rooms, one for the boys and one for the girls" Joseph said before going over to ruffle the hair of the Star Children as they were all stuck in Maria's hug "You can have your own rooms when your a bit older"

Ophis blinked in surprise at the sudden change in behaviour of Minato's Personas "What's, happening to them?"

Minato leaned down to whisper his answer "Their my Personas so they're all connected to me, feeling what I feel included. And while I'm overjoyed at the idea of being a father, something that I've wanted to be for a little while now, I'm also a little terrified at how sudden it is"

"If we work together, it'll be less scary" Ophis said, taking Minato's hand into hers again. The two sharing a tender moment before realization hit the Dragon God "We need to give them names"

Minato's eye widened "Oh, your right. We can't call them all Ophiuchus or their class, do you have any names in mind?"

After some back and forth, Minato and Ophis settled on the names of their children. They'd take on Minato's family name of Arisato with Ophiuchus acting as their middle name.

The Sword Star Child was named Isamu, the Lancer Emma due to how she reminded Ophis of Gertrude's grandchild, the Cleric Atsuko and the Gunslinger was named Billy. It was still early in the morning when this new little family came together, and there was still plenty of time in the day for something else to take place.

"I need help, now"

Vali barely had time to get ready for the battle against a monster Le Fay needed materials from to help her with magic research when Ophis appeared and knocked out the monster in one punch, he would have been more bothered if it wasn't for Ophis's change in demeanour.

For lack of a better word she looked frazzled, the clothes she was wearing seemed thrown on in a rush and her hair was a mess, looking closer he was able to see a patch of green on her cheek.

"What is that?" Vali pointed at the patch of green on Ophis's cheek, using her sleeve she wiped it off.

"Paint, we were making hand prints and the kids forgot to clean their hands first" looking around she saw the rest of Vali's team approaching, emerging from their various positions planned for a battle Ophis won with one hit.

Bikou gave Ophis an annoyed look while he raised an eyebrow confused "Hand prints, are you doing something involving a pre-school?"

Kuroka tapped her chin in thought before taking out a watch and checking the time "It would be around nap time for many pre-schools"

"Wait, how would you know about that?" Arthur asked, wondering where Kuroka got that particular piece of information.

In response Kuroka grinned at Arthur "I happen to work part time at nurseries and pre-schools, I have to go under an alias but it's helping refine my parenting skills for when I have them of my own"

"You have experience in child care?" Ophis asked Kuroka directly, getting a nod Ophis was conflicted. While she still wasn't a hundred percent on letting the flirty Kuroka near her Minato the Youkai's skill was something she needed. While Minato had several parents to help look after the Star Children she didn't have much to bring, having someone she knew and could trust help care for the children would sort out the issue.

Le Fay looked at the conflicted look on the Dragon God's face and, remembering what Ophis took the other day, tensed up "Ophis, did something happen with the bed?" the youngest Pendragon asked, hoping her worries were misplaced and the bed made by an apprentice of Aleister Crowley didn't do anything weird.

Ophis summoned a barrier that stopped all sound from escaping it but allowed those inside to leave whenever they wanted, once she was certain no one would eavesdrop on them the Dragon God turned to Team Vali nervous "Well, you see-"

"Mummy!"

Team Vali were shocked when they heard a childish voice calling out from behind Ophis, who turned around to look down as a tiny child with a bright smile and looking at the Infinite Dragon with a sparkle in her reptilian eyes.

"Emma. How, did you get here?" Ophis asked slowly and gently, almost sounding just as spooked as Team Vali at the sudden appearance of a child.

Vali heard Albion choke for a moment as the White Dragon focused his attention on the small child, his mind going back to his memories with Gertrude and the short time she spent with her grandchild.

"Daddy's making fruit dessert for lunch and we wanted to check what toppings you wanted" Emma looked around the area she found herself in, a mountainous region with little vegetation, and at the people behind her mother "Hey, who are they?" Emma turned to Ophis "Are they your friends mummy?"

"Yes, their friends of mummy she needed to talk to about something" Ophis said calmly as her eyebrow twitched, her plan of slowly explaining things to Team Vali up in flames "Your daddy knows what I like, so why don't you go back home and I'll be back in a minute"

Emma glanced at Team Vali through her snake, surprising them even more as the unknown child had a snake similar to her 'mother', before putting her hand against mouth to whisper to her mother "Are your friends coming over?" after getting a nod Emma hugged Ophis, the Star Child's head pressed into the Infinite Dragon God's stomach "Love you, mummy"

"Love you two sweetie" Ophis rubbed her Star Child's head, the two staying like that for a moment before Emma teleported back. Ophis stood still for a few long seconds before slowly turning around to see the reactions on Vali and his team.

Absolute shock was their share expression, wide eyed and mouths agape, they all seemed frozen in place by what happened.

While Ophis wished for silence, the silence she was experiencing was not to her liking.

"That was my daughter, Emma Ophiuchus Arisato" Ophis said, hoping that would break the others out of their stupor "And, I need help relating to her"

"You named your child after Gertrude's granddaughter" Albion said, unsure of what to think of the Ouroboros Dragon.

Ophis nodded "Yes, when I first saw my child I couldn't help but think back to those old photos. So, when it came time to name them I picked that" an awkward moment passed before she decided to directly face the issue "Is, that okay? You knew them both longer than me, I didn't me to be disrespectful in anyway"

Albion let out a defeated sigh "No, it's alright. It's just, seeing you transform into Emma all those years ago to comfort Gertrude on her death bed stuck with me and learning you apparently named your child after her just sticks out to me. That being said, you can name your child whatever you wish. You needn't worry about my hang ups" Albion looked at the uncertain look on Ophis's face "I'm sure Emma would be happy you named your daughter after her"

"Sorry to ruin the touching moment but, you have a child!?" Kuroka exclaimed, her mind racing "You told me you never planned to have children, that you could get the same results faster by giving out snakes to people!"

Le Fay's mouth closed shut with dawning realization "It was the bed, wasn't it. We missed something"

"Yes" Ophis answered, giving them time to digest that piece of information before continuing "it seems the bed was imbued with a ritual to create beings known as Star Children"

Vali frowned "And what are Star Children?"

The Dragon God sighed "I, don't know much. Only that they're prepared to fight monsters as soon as their born" the little piece of information still bothered Ophis about her new children, and part of the driving force to learn more about how they came to be.

Raising her head Ophis looked over the group of people she knew she could trust outside of Minato and his group "Please, help me learn more about where they came from"

"Of course we'll help" Vali said without hesitation, the rest of his team nodding along.

"I mean, I'm kind of responsible for bringing up that bed in the first place" Kuroka admitted as she scratched her cheek "Seems only right that I help keep an eye on your little Star Child"

Le Fay gripped the brim of her witch's hat "In a way, I'm partially to blame as well. Maybe if I was a bit more thorough we would have notice this Star Child ritual imbued in the bed"

"Neither of you are at fault" Ophis said firmly to Kuroka and Le Fay, not wanting to blame them for her wanting the bed in the first place. Still "Although, I do have special tasks for you both"

As everyone turned to her, seeing the surprised look on their faces, the Infinite Dragon God tells them their roles "I'm making you both my wives"

"Eh!" was the shared expression of those present, everyone getting the mental image of Kuroka and Le Fay in wedding dresses being married off to Ophis.

Arthur grip on his sword tightened for a moment "Ophis, I know this is event is sudden but, I won't let you take either my sister or Kuroka as your brides-"

Ophis blinked confused "Brides?" she pouted for a moment before turning to the two other girls present "Sorry, I got the terms mixed up. I don't wish to marry you over this" Everyone let out a sigh of relief "rather I want you to be my concubine" the others recoiled for a moment as Ley Fay pictured herself in modified version of her uniform as a pervy scholar while Kuroka saw herself in a palace drooped around the smaller Ophis.

Ophis's expression tensed up as she searched her mind for the word she was looking for "That's not it, what do you call someone who helps care for a child?"

Arthur looked at the Infinite Dragon closely "Wait, are you asking my sister to be your midwife?"

"Yes, that's the title I was looking for" Ophis said, visible relieved "I want you both to act as my midwives until I get to grips with being a parent" she looked down "Minato has, connections to other to help with the raising of children whereas I don't really have anyone else to turn to. So-" Ophis raised her head to meet Kuroka and Le Fay's gaze "Please, help me be a good mother"

Before a word could be uttered Kuroka hugged Ophis, forcing the Dragon God's head into the Youkai's chest "Oh, if I didn't know any better I'd think you were using your cuteness to manipulate me~" not giving her a chance to comprehend the idea of using one's own cuteness to manipulate other Kuroka agreed to help Ophis along with Le Fay, however they would be more like nannies as midwives mostly helped before the child was born.

With it all sorted, Ophis took Team Vali to a place she had planned to show them at a much later date. The Arisato Residence.

"Minato Arisato, it's nice to meet you" Minato said as he shook Vali's hand after cleaning his own, during the firm handshake Minato could feel dozens of different Persona keeping a close eye on the direct descended of Lucifer with the Personas of the Morning Star metaphorically in the front row.

"Vali, Ophis has told us a bit about you" Vali said as he looked down at the apron with the phrase 'Come for the food, stay for the cook' "Though, your not what I was expecting"

Minato raised an eyebrow at the comment curious "Really? What were you expecting me to be like?"

"Well, looking less like a house-husband for starters" Vali admitted glancing over to see the rest of his team paying attention to the four Star Children, Vali gave Bikou a worried look as he got the look in his eye moments before he would challenge someone to an arm wrestling match, before turning back to Minato "I was expecting more scars and muscle for starters"

Minato shrugged "I have a more lean build and not all scars are visible to the eye. But enough about me, is there anything you want specially made for lunch?"

Ophis kept an eye on Minato and Vali as they talked, happy it didn't look like there was going to be any challenges to a fight but nervous that it might happen, turning back to the others she noticed Le Fay looking at Atsuko's card on the Star Child's necklace.

"We got the card from daddy the same way we got our snakes from mummy" Atsuka explained as she summoned a snake from her body to point to the card Le Fay was holding, getting closer look at the design of two interlocked circles that had a 0 in one and the Roman numeral XXI (21) in the other "He says it's to represent the beginning and ending of a Fool's journey"

"Like the tarot" Le Fay said, making an observation instead of a question but getting a nod from the little Star Child all the same, her mind was racing as she started considering different reasons for why they missed the magic of the bed when they checked it the first time. That perhaps whatever power Minato had with the Tarot resonated with the Star Children's connection to the Zodiac and revived whatever dead magic was in the bed.

Le Fay was brought out of her thoughts at a sudden shout, looking over she saw Bikou on the ground on his stomach with Isamu on top of him locking the Monkey King's arms behind his back.

Isamu grinned as he kept Bikou arms pinned despite the older man's struggling "Come on, say uncle"

Bikou grinned back "It'll take more then this, kid" he put more effort in getting his hands free but found the Star Child's grip stronger than what he first thought. He started putting more and more effort into the struggle but as he did so he also become more worried of accidentally hurting the kid, mercifully the sound of footsteps coming over to them signalled the end of the horse play.

"Isamu, don't bully the Monkey King" Ophis said as she picked up her son off of Bikou, giving the Youkai a chance to get up "Lunch is almost ready, so go and clean up"

The Star Children nodded and ran off to wash their hands for lunch, as they went Ophis looked over to Bikou to see him rubbing his wrists.

"That kid is far stronger than he looks" Bikou said as he looked to the others "I'm not sure if that's the case for all Star Children, or if he got it from his parents"

Kuroka glanced down the hall "Well, there is a way to find out"

"Wait, are you actually suggesting that we" Arthur stopped himself from finishing his question as the Star Children came running back down the hall and into the kitchen for lunch.

"It's only an idea" Kuroka said, seeing the conflicted look on the others faces "We can talk about it later"

They sat down for lunch, agreeing to continue the discussion of purposefully making more Star Children and their stance on that later. Taking one bite from the lunch Minato prepared made one thing certain for Team Vali, they needed Minato to join them if only for his cooking. Aside from Le Fay no one else on the team could cook well so they usually defaulted to getting take out.

Minato froze when he learnt that and turned to Vali with a hard look "When was the last time you had a proper meal, not including take out or left overs"

The heir of Lucifer frowned at the question "Almost a week, why? Are you going to offer to make us food?"

"The option is on the table" Minato answered, seeing the surprise and joy in Vali's eyes at the idea even as Minato could feel Lilith rushing back to stuff proper home cooked meals into her great grandson's gullet "And if for some reason I can't do it personally I know some people who could do it in my place"

Billy swallowed his food before asking his question "Are you going to ask grandma to cook for them?"

Before they could ask what the gunslinger Star Child meant the front door opened as a voice called out "I'm home" walking over to the kitchen Lilith looked over the large group of people with a believable surprised expression "Oh, I'm not interrupting anything am I?"

"Granny Lili!" The Star Children cheered as Lilith came over and greeted them individually before her eyes landed on Vali.

Vali wasn't sure why, but for some reason he felt like he knew this woman even though he never saw her before in his life. His eyes were locked on her as she approached him with an analytical look, after what seemed like an eternity she looked away from Vali to face the others.

"He looks a little malnourished, doesn't he?" Lilith asked, not waiting for an answer she turned back Vali "I'll make you something to eat, you can either eat it here or take it with you in a lunch box"

"Okay" Vali relented, not seeing a point in arguing with the mysterious woman over free food. As she turned around Vali's memories of his mother, her treating his wounds Vali received from his abusive father and making him simple pasta despite the risks to herself, not remembering the last time he had the dish Vali blurted out "Could, I get some pasta. Nothing fancy, something simple"

'Granny Lili' glanced at Vali over her shoulder and nodded "Sure, no problem" she turned around to the kitchen as she kept talking "I'll keep some ready in the fridge if you ever want to come over for some" stopping for a moment she turned around to fully face Vali and gave the young man a no-nonsense look "Don't be a stranger, Minato won't turn you away"

Minato gave Vali a gentle smile as he gave him a simple "Any friend of Ophis is a friend of mine"

"Thanks" Vali said, a smile on his lips as he returned to eating his food. The smile he wore was a welcomed sight to those that knew him.

"So, this is the bed you did the deed that conceived your kids"

Ophis gave Bikou a blank look "We didn't do anything"

"Can you please rephrase that, there are children in the house" Minato asked Bikou, using his connection with Lilith to keep an eye on the Star Children.

Le Fay called up a magic circle to gather what information she could from the magic item that was key to making Star Children, she repeated the process she used when she checked it out the first time and leaned back at the new information she was getting.

"Okay, it's far more active than when we looked it over the first time" Le Fay said as she looked over the magic at play with a deepening frown "This is, odd"

Arthur looked to Le Fay and recognized her expression, he hadn't seen it in years when his sister was first studying magic, she only got that look when she was running into a roadblock in her study. That was a worrying thought "What is it?"

Le Fay paused for a moment before sighing "I'm, having trouble recognizing the magic being used in this" she expanded the magic circle to show it to the others in a vague they'd recognized something she couldn't "I'm definitely picking up fertility, stellar and even some basic archetypal magic used in ways I've never seen before. But, beyond that the magic used here is alien to me"

"Could it have level of security to keep it's inner workings a secret?" Minato asked, thinking that perhaps the more formula base magic system lent itself to similar security measures as computer, as he looked over the information Le Fay was showing them.

Seeing a ring of symbols encircling the Ophiuchus symbol Minato guessed they were suppose to be the western zodiac but they were altered, some looked completely different while others look more stylized versions of the originals, as he looked at the zodiac ring Minato saw it shaking slightly. Looking closer Minato thought he saw other rings appearing around the zodiac that either spun clockwise with the western zodiac or counter clockwise.

Le Fay shrunk the magic circle as he looked it over with a furrowed brow "Maybe? Magic formula security has been a thing to prevent work being stolen, but nothing on this scale" she closed her eyes for a moment before opening them with a fiery look of determination "Even so, I'm sure I can crack it. So long as the magic is just being hidden and isn't evolving in some way"

Le Fay began studying the bed and the magic, as she worked on that she asked Minato and Ophis if they felt anything strange during the night. Minato shook his head, saying he didn't know anything due to sleeping through it all. Ophis hesitantly recounted the night before, the strange growing heat within her that caused her to lose track of time and her inability to focus to use her powers.

Ophis assured she was fine after the experience, it was admittedly more worrying when it was happening without her knowing what was happening. Finding the experience strange but not unpleasant, Ophis wouldn't say anymore on the topic and no one forced her to.

Eventually it came time to use Senjutsu to see what else had changed, volunteering Bikou approached the bed and placed his hand on it. He looked confused for a moment, frowning as he placed both hands on the bed before swinging himself onto it sitting cross legged.

"It's, siphoning the impurities from me" Bikou said in growing wonder, a smirk forming on his lips "Not sure what the reason for that is, but it should could help teach Senjutsu that's for sure"

Le Fay looked over the information she could gather on the bed and on Bikou himself, looking for any irregularities that could be harmful to her teammate. Now having an idea for what to look for she was able to find some information on the process "It seems the magic purifies the people and the surroundings around the bed of harmful negative energy, to a certain extent, and stores that negative energy away" her eyes widened in realization as pieces of information lined up in her head "What if, that's the reason the bed was so comfy?"

Kuroka rubbed her chin, seeing where Le Fay was going with her line of thinking "Having the stress and worries of the day being slowly drained away for a night's sleep does sound relaxing, would help get a good night's sleep or a nap"

"Meaning the comfort the bed offered was just a weaker version of this negative energy siphoning" Vali said with a frown, he looked to Bikou as the current Monkey King got that scheming glint in his eyes "Bikou, can you come here for a minute"

Without hesitation Bikou jumped off the bed and over to Vali "Sure, you need something?"

Vali looked over his friend before his eyes glanced to the bed for a moment "Be honest with me, do you feel a compulsion to stay in that bed?"

"Nah, not really" Bikou answered, rolling his shoulder as he did "Don't get me wrong, the thing is comfy and the negative energy siphon is nowhere near deadly, I'm not exactly looking to stay in it" thinking for a moment he pointed to Vali "It's more like my favourite spot on the couch when we stay in that one safehouse in Japan"

"You put me in a headlock because of that spot" Vali gave a deadpan answer.

Raising his hands in surrender Bikou offered Vali an apologetic look "Sorry, sorry. The bed is less serious than the spot on the couch"

"What, does it do with the stored negative energy?" Ophis asked as she looked at the bed, if something went wrong an explosion of energy could cause who knows amount of damage.

"From the looks of it, it's isolated and once the energy reaches a certain point or enough time has passes the energy is condensed and disposed as waste" Le Fay searched the formulas unable to find what she was looking for "Where it goes I can't say for certain"

Minato gained a worried look as he looked up to Le Fay, an idea he never thought of going through his mind as Lilith acted to check things on her end "You don't think, the negative energy played a part in making Isamu, Emma, Atsuka and Billy?"

"No" Le Fay said, much to Minato's relief "I still don't fully understand the process that makes the Star Child, but the collecting, storing and disposing of negative energy is on a different layer of formulas. They aren't connected"

"Besides, if they were Bikou and I would have noticed something was off with our Senjutsu abilities. Or, were you too caught up in things to check the kids with your own abilities" Kuroka said, a teasing smile and a look of approval in her eyes.

"Well, there's just one more thing to check" Le Fay turned to Minato, noticing for the first time he had a note pad and a pen as he looked over the information she was getting from the bed. Any respectable Magician would take the chance to learn new magic whenever possible so Ophis mysterious recruit being able to follow the discussion raised Le Fay's opinion on Minato "Minato, could you please step closer to the bed"

Following Le Fay's instructions Minato stepped closer to the bed, his steps small and slow so that if there were any chances of something happening Le Fay would be able to tell when they occurred.

"Want me to use Senjutsu to see if there's any changes?" Bikou asked, wanting to help in figuring out how this strange magic worked.

"No" Le Fay said quickly and firmly, her eyes not leaving the stream of information before her "For all we know two people being two close to the bed is enough to create Star Children and as much as I like you I don't think your ready to be a father Bikou" at her words the current Monkey King took a step back, agreeing with the young Pendragon's assessment of his readiness to be a parent.

Slowly Minato put his hand on the bed before Le Fay gestured for him to get on the bed, after several minutes Le Fay let out a sigh "No changes on my end, do you feel any different?"

"Nothing, aside being a little nervous being on a magic bed we don't completely know about" after giving his answer Le Fay gave Minato the go ahead to get off the bed.

Le Fay looked over the information she had gathered with an analytical eye "I was sure the tarot and zodiac elements were affecting one another, was it a red herring?"

"I wonder, maybe we'll need to move onto live testing to learn anything else about this bed?" Kuroka shot Minato a meaningful glance, Ophis frowned at the look the Youkai gave Minato, Deciding to deal with the situation before it could develop further.

"I know a couple of place where we can get cloned test animals, no questions asked" The youngest Pendragon said nonchalantly, earning surprise looks from everyone except her brother "Not only that, the Golden Dawn still has the apprentice's notes when they were working on this" Le Fay gained a conflicted look in her eye as she addressed the others "The cipher for it is incomplete but I have heard about an independent Magician that came across a few of Crowley's master ciphers and has been deciphering his and his apprentice's magic for payment"

Arthur gave his sister a concerned look "Can this person be trusted?"

"Only go to them if you have little alternative" Le Fay said "It's what one of my teachers said after they worked with this person, they didn't warn me to stay away"

Walking over to Le Fay Ophis offered up one of her snakes, the youngest of the Pendragon's looked at it surprised "Take this. You'll be able to teleport wherever you wish without needing to worry about preparing formulas, waiting or the existence of barriers" seeing the hesitation in her eyes Ophis looked to the side where she knew her Star Children were suppose to be.

Having an idea of where Ophis was looking at Le Fay worked passed her hesitation and accepted Ophis's snake, it took her a while to get used to the feeling and power before she took off to collect the notes they needed and the independent Magician. She went on her own as a large group would drawn too much attention.

While they waited the others did little things to fill the time, Ophis meet Kuroka's gaze with her own and pointed outside. Hesitantly, the Youkai followed the displeased Dragon God.

"You're looking to have Star Children of your own, aren't you" Ophis said, already knowing the answer. While she hadn't spent much time with the Nekosou before, what little interaction they have had and Vali's recounting of his time with Kuroka, she knew the Youkai was seeking a strong mate to have children with.

It was the reason she was hesitate in letting her near Minato in the first place.

"Yeah. I'm guessing it was that obvious" Kuroka answered, any notion of playing coy squished by the serious look Ophis was directing towards her "The idea of skipping the whole nine months to have children is a tempting offer, especially for someone who needs to keep moving like me"

Ophis narrowed her eyes as she moved onto her next question "I'm guessing your going to use my bed when you find a strong male?"

Kuroka looked away as she scratched her cheek "Well, yeah. Nothing would really happen, and I promise to dry clean everything if it makes you feel better or buy it off you" she looked back to Ophis "But I'm guessing that's not the main issue"

"Minato" Ophis said simply "Your looking to have Star Children with him, am I right?"

Nodding the Nekosou decided it was better not to lie or upset the potentially jealous Dragon God "Yes. What you told us about him got my attention, but seeing him taking care of his children was what really decided things for me"

"Their MY children as well" Ophis said, Kuroka winced "Isn't there anyone else on your list of potential mates?"

Kuroka's cat ears flattened against her head "That list is, growing shorter if I'm being honest" Kuroka let out a deep sigh "Bikou is like a brother to me, Arthur's family wouldn't accept me due to being a Stray and while Vali is strong with a desire for a family it wouldn't work out for us"

"Because Vali turned you down several times" Ophis said, remembering the few times he went on about how Kuroka was trying to be flirty with him.

"There's that" Kuroka admitted, holding back a wince as she thought back to how the constant rejections did a number on her self confidence until she learnt the reason why "But also that while we both want a family, we want it for different reasons" seeing the confused look in Ophis's eyes the Nekosou thought about how to explain it "I want to start a family were as Vali wants to be part of a family, generally we'd end up at the same place but the path to get there and the positions in the family would be different"

The Dragon God nodded, understanding the basics of Kuroka's plight. While she wished for a strong male for children the pool of candidates is smaller than she wished, it was somewhat similar to Ophis's own plight of finding those able to help her defeat Great Red.

"I wasn't planning on stealing Minato from you, NTR really isn't my thing" Kuroka said hastily, Ophis having no idea what NTR meant "I, was sort of thinking of having a harem situation"

Ophis raised an eyebrow "Oh, so your not going to go out searching for any other strong males to take back and make more Star Children?" the Dragon God asked, hoping that what Kuroka was saying was true.

Kuroka looked alarmed and offended at Ophis question "Hey, I may be a seductress but I don't go out for anyone!" she paused for a moment as she regained her composure "Once I settle down I can assure you I can be quite loyal, and I won't abandon my family" her words at the end becoming little more than a whisper, Ophis was able to hear it but decided now may not be the best time to dig further into what Kuroka meant.

Silence fell between the two, Ophis just looking at Kuroka to see if she could find any falsehoods in her words. After several long seconds of silence the Dragon God closed her eyes and gave her judgement "Okay"

Surprised and relieved by the answer Kuroka let out the breath she was holding "Okay"

"I won't step in if Minato is, accepting, of your advances" Ophis said before her expression hardened "But, there are a few things"

Getting a nod from Kuroka, the Dragon God continued.

"If he does accept you, and this becomes a harem" Ophis paused, wondering for a moment if she used the right word before continuing on "Then let me make it clear, I'm the head of the harem, the leader of this brood. The one who holds the top spot"

Kuroka nodded "Okay, that's fair. I was expecting something of the sort to be truthful"

"And" Ophis teleported closer to the Youkai, almost knocking her over due to shock "If you misled him, betray him, use him, hurt him. Then let me make this clear, I will never forgive you" Ophis said, a possessive glint in her eyes as she gave her warning "And the same can be said for any children you two have, mistreat them and I won't forgive you"

"I would never mistreat my children, or their father" Kuroka said, standing her ground to a being who could destroy her without effort. Locking eyes with the Dragon God one thing become clear "You really love him, don't you?"

"I don't know what love is, or what it feels like. I never really gave the concept much thought" Ophis admitted, her eyes drifting to the Arisato residence "All I really know is, he's important to me" turning her gaze down to the ground, she opened up a little "I, was worried Minato and Vali would fight when they first met"

"Yeah. Vali can be a bit of a battle maniac at times" Kuroko replied, seeing how Ophis got the idea of Vali challenging Minato to a fight the first time they would meet in any other circumstance. Kuroka looked to Ophis with a question on her mind "Say, if Minato does accept me into a harem. Would I be in your harem as well?"

"Huh?" Ophis replied, not sure where that question came from. she thought about it for a moment before giving a tentative answer "I, wouldn't be oppose to the idea"

Kuroka being in her harem would help give incentive for the Youkai to help care for her Star Children, Ophis said to herself as she found herself being hugged by Kuroka again. It was in this moment Ophis realized she was getting far too used to having her head shoved into breasts.

"Hmhm~ Let's get along, Ophis" Kuroka said with a sing sung voice as she kept Ophis pinned to her bosom. It wasn't how she first imagined being together with the Infinite Dragon God would be like, but she wasn't too fuss about. Besides, it stopped Ophis from looking so down.

'If you knew how to use your cuteness you'd have everyone wrapped around your little finger' Kuroka thought to herself before finally letting Ophis out of the hug.

Getting back to the house they found Arthur showing Isamu and Emma several sword stances with Excalibur Ruler in hand, he went over how to properly use the various forms and pointing out exploitable weaknesses inherit to the forms. Vali was playing video games with Billy with Bikou cheering on Vali while Atsuko cheered for her brother, before they could get a chance to see what game they were playing Billy let out a frustrated cry as Vali won.

"My turn" Atsuko said as she took her brother's place at the controller, turning to Vali she gave the descendent of Lucifer a challenging look "I'll avenge my fallen brother, Uncle"

Vali answered the child's declaration with a smile "Oh, we'll see about that"

"Oh, your both back" Lilith said, directing Ophis and Kuroka's attention to the table where Minato sat with Lilith with a large collection of books. Seeing their eyes being drawn to the pile of books Lilith shrugged "Le Fay came back with the first batch of books the apprentice wrote up, kid here is looking through them to see if there's anything without a cipher"

"Really, any luck?" Kuroka asked as she walked over to look over Minato's shoulder to see what he was reading, her hand resting on his shoulder, Kuroka blushed at what she saw "Oh my"

Minato nodded as he closed the note book, giving Kuroka a chance to see he was wearing thick rubber gloves "Other than his extensive research into fertility and the Bindu Chakra point, not much else. Seems he planned on helping Devils with their low birth rate issue for a life of leisure, he made decent progress but it seems he stopped his research without warning at one point"

"And that could mean any number of things" Lilith commented, unfolding a page spread before closing it hard so that there was no risk of the children seeing it "Ironically, the one's he was trying to sell it to wouldn't get the most out of it"

"He completely overlooked the artificial methods implanted in the Devil species to control their reproduction" Lilith said nonchalantly, looking over another book herself and barely held back a chuckle at what the apprentice of Crowley wrote about her "Even then, he wasn't factoring in how long lived species like Devils naturally have low birth rates. Using human biology as a base was the right move but the fact he never expanded-"

"What do you mean 'artificial methods' to control birth rates?" Kuroka asked, a dangerous edge to her voice. Her grip on Minato's shoulder tightening for a moment before she realize what she was doing and stopped herself.

Lilith looked up and saw the fire and desperation in the Nekosou's eyes, looking around she saw the other members of Team Vali present and Ophis looking at her confused. Lilith turned to Kuroka with a raised eyebrow "Wait, Demons controlling the birth rates of Devils isn't common knowledge?"

Apparently, it wasn't. Lilith went into detail, AFTER the children were sent to their rooms so as to not hear the explanation, about how Demons controlled the Devil population's fertility so they always had standing armies without running the risk of overpopulation. By the time she finished the others where left speechless, Kuroka's covered her eyes as she listened.

Le Fay appeared with more books beside her "I found a couple more books our mysterious apprentice made, it seems he copied some work from others so I picked up copies of them just in" she paused as she noticed the gloomy atmosphere "Did something happened?"

"We just found out that one of the reason why Devils have such difficulty having children, old warmongers that saw them as nothing but weapons" Kuroka, her hung low as she got up from the table "I need to lay down for a minute"

"There's a guest room at the end of the hall already prepared" Minato said, having had some rooms prepared for team Vali if they decided to stay for the night. Without a word Kuroka went pass Le Fay who looked to the only other female member of Team Vali with worry.

Bikou got up and followed after her, while they didn't agree on a couple of things he couldn't deny Kuroka had become something of a sister to him. When he caught up to Kuroka he didn't find the Nekosou turned Devil in the guest room mentioned, rather she was in Ophis's room where the bed that made Star Children was.

"You doing okay?" the Monkey King asked, in response Kuroka gave a half hearted shrug "I'm so sorry"

Kuroka shook her head "You don't have anything apologize for, besides that piece of information doesn't change anything. Still looking for someone strong so I can have a family of my own, or using this bed here" Kuroka moved closer to the bed with her back to it "Right now, I'm just processing the information that some of the difficulties of me having kids is because of some long dead assholes and not something natural" she sighed as she let herself fall backwards onto the bed.

She laid there, wanting nothing more for the stress to be drained away.

But as she laid there, she felt something was wrong. Her instincts telling her to get away but it was already too late.

"Ack!" Kuroka cried out as she clutched her abdomen to Bikou's alarm.

"Oi! What's-" The Monkey King pulled back, a dark miasma beginning to leak from the Nekosou's body.

Kuroka forced herself to her feet, appearing to be unsteady or fighting for control of her own body "S-Something, went, inside, me-!" she put her hand over her mouth as she rushed passed Bikou, barely noticing the Star Children looking at her seemingly ready for a fight.

As she ran outside the others looked on alarmed, as they went to see what was wrong Isamu called out as the Star Children kept close together with Minato "Dad, Mum. There's a monster inside Kuroka!"

The Star Child's warning alarmed the others, they went outside to follow Kuroka into the forest. When they found her they didn't get closer to her initially, Kuroka was hunched over with dark power swirling around her body that seemed to corrupt the area around her.

"Stay. Back. Something evil, is coming. ACK!" Letting out one more painful cry a ball of dark light emerged from her mouth that transform into a muscular monster with a wicked visage, it turned it's attention to the group for a moment before recoiling backwards as a bullet struck it dead centre in the eye.

"Wait a minute, that's a real gun?!" Le Fay cried out as she saw smoking coming out of Billy's revolvers.

The Star Children grouped together beside Minato, each looking ready for the upcoming fight. They were so focus on the monster in front of them they didn't notice Ophis's snakes coming up behind them to pull them back.

"No, you will stay out of this" Ophis said, loosing the binding but keeping her children close to her.

"But, mum!" The Star Children cried out only to be silence by their mother's hard look, the monster removing it's hand to reveal it's eye had been healed.

Minato looked to Kuroka to see her dry heaving even as more miasma spewed out of her mouth and into the monster above her, a monster that was steadily growing stronger "Hold on, we'll help you!" he called out, the only response he got was Kuroka turning to look at Minato for a moment as her eyes began to lose focus.

The monster pulled it's arm back to attack but before it could attack Minato summoned a bow, Vishnu's bow Saarnga, to launch an arrow that wheezed passed the monster. It gave a mocking chuckle before the miasma that made up it's body was being drained away, looking behind it saw the miasma was being drawn in and contained in a sphere of wind.

However, just as fast as the miasma was being contained more flowed from Kuroka preventing the monster from being imprisoned entirely.

"Bikou, you were the last one with Kuroka, what can you tell us?" Vali asked as he observed the monster, it stayed close to Kuroka as it hover above her. Although it was slowed down by the wind trap Minato created, with a bow Vali swore he saw before somewhere, the monster still looked ready to fight.

Bikou took a small stick out of his pocket that grew into a staff as long as his body as he held the staff of the monkey king, Ruyi Jingu Bang, the current generation monkey king thought back to what happened at the house "She laid on the Star kid making bed depressed, she jolted in pain as she said something went inside her"

As the corruption grew Bikou almost gagged "I think, the negative energy inside the damn thing got out and jumped into her" he checked the ground with his senjutsu only to discover what he feared to find "Not only that, it's drawing in more negative energy from the world itself"

"We have to work fast then" Vali said, planning his next moves to end this as quickly as possible, the longer they wait the worse off Kuroka was going to be due to the negative energy.

The group battled the monster and even though it had no solid form each attack that struck it blew away more and more of it's body, Vali used the power of Divine Dividing to halving the capacity of the nearby Ley lines to slow down the gathering negative energy turned from a raging rivers into moderately powerful sinks.

Releasing a death cry to the sky the miasma monster glowed with malevolent power moments before Kuroka cried out again as the same malevolent power cover her body as more miasma poured out of her mouth, as the malevolent energy grew intensity something else became visible.

"Hey, what's that shining thing?" Emma asked aloud as she pointed to Kuroka's torso, there a cracked bishop chess piece was visible radiating the malevolent power that the monster was born from and what had taken possession of Nekosou's body.

"It's Kuroka's Evil Piece" Le Fay said, her eyes widening as she saw something swirling inside the chess piece "I think, the impurities that were stored inside the bed latched onto it and are using it to control her"

"Now that we know where that monster is all we have to do is get the chess thingy out and beat it" Atsuko cheered at the piece of information, thinking it was their key to victory and saving Kuroka.

Arthur turned to the Star Child with a mournful look "I'm afraid it's not that simple, removing the Evil Piece would kill Kuroka"

"No, I can remove" Minato said looking to the others as they looked at him with uncertain eyes "I need to get closer, if you can keep that thing busy long enough I can remove Kuroka's Evil Piece where that monster has taken root. She won't be a Reincarnated Devil anymore, so any benefits she got from it would be gone"

Vali looked to Minato like he was crazy, while he wanted to believe such a thing was possible to save Kuroka if something went wrong with whatever Minato was planning to do it would mean his comrade's death.

"He's telling the truth" Ophis said, gaining the attention of team Vali "I've, seen him do it several times. He can reverse Devil conversion and separate the Evil Pieces from the being"

With Ophis's words in mind the heir of Lucifer looked to Minato, a near complete unknown who The Infinite Dragon God themselves promised could do something the world thought impossible. In the end, it was Vali desperation to save a comrade and his trust in Ophis that made his decision.

"Alright, cover the new guy and keep the path clear. We won't get another shot at this" with those words they sprung into action, Minato dismissed Vishnu's bow as he raced towards Kuroka while amplifying his speed with Persona skills. The monster let out a storm of tendrils that threatened to spear Minato through with Minato dodging the few the got past team Vali that dealt with most of them, however as several more threatened to block his path a series of gunshots could be heard from behind him.

Minato didn't look back as bullets flew pass him and destroyed the tendrils, as he got close Minato reached out his hand as a familiar flash of overcame the area. When the light subsided Minato held a gently breathing Kuroka in his left arm while the corrupted Evil Piece laid still in his right hand, however the moment of peace was quickly squished as the Evil Piece began to shake violently as the negative energy within it wasn't yet defeated.

He tossed it skyward moments before the Evil Piece shattered as the evil within it broke free, growing larger and larger until it took the form of a mechanical humanoid tiger wearing revealing shrine priestess robes that did little to hide the gears and swirling darkness within itself.

"Okay, now we're fighting against a giant robot thing" Bikou commented as he grew his staff to force the monster back when it began to charge at them.

Carrying Kuroka in his arms Minato rushed back to Ophis, where he saw all the Star Children were now dressed as gunslingers, he raised an eyebrow as the Star Children instantly changed outfits as they cycled through several different ones.

'Are they able to change classes now?' Minato thought to himself for a moment before looking over Kuroka, thankfully she was alright physically and just needed time to recover from the experience. She would be tired for a bit but not much worse then recovering from common cold.

"See, we can help" Minato look over to see Isamu looking at him with a determined look alongside his siblings "Let us help you take that thing down, like a family dad"

Looking to Ophis for help Minato could see the Dragon God looking little frazzled having to handle the children, glancing at the monster above them Minato made his decision.

"There is no way I am letting you four fight that thing, I don't want you here due to how dangerous it is" Minato refused to bend or break when he saw the pouting lips and big watery eyes of his Star Children, though he wouldn't be able to fight off the assault for long "If, if things were different then maybe. But unless you can transform into giant robots yourselves then you will stay here with your mother"

Billy sniffled loudly, Minato held strong as this was for their sake "We have to become a giant robot before you'd let us fight?"

"That's right" Minato answered, turning his attention to the monster above them and consider his next-

"Well, you heard papa. Time to Mecunite!"

Emma's words, in the beginning sounding disappointed before making a quick u turn into excited, was the only warning any of them got before the Star Children manifested auras of power before shooting skywards out of their mother's reach. The four combining together to create a massive humanoid robot, white bulky armour covered most of it's body with the red visor helmet merged with the torso armour with the remainder of the body covered in light black armour.

""Our babies turned into a giant robot!"" Minato and Ophis exclaimed together, their normally stoic masks broken completely as they looked up at the giant robot the flew above them.

"Is this, also the power of Star Children?" Le Fay asked aloud, not entirely sure she believed what she was seeing.

"Either that, or someone's family tree is hiding something" Arthur said, looking to Minato and Ophis and briefly wonder on whose side did the Star Children get 'giant robot combination' from.

Vali looked at the giant robot the Star Children turned into with one thought on his mind 'Okay, that's pretty cool'

A light shined from the Star Robot, however even as it grew in intensity it never became blinding, the monster recoiled before fading away with the broken remnants of the Evil Piece dissolving away into nothingness.

"What, it's over already?" from the giant robot Billy's voice could be heard, the Star Robot looked around the area with it's visor glowing as it did so.

The Star Robot scratched it's head "Well, it was already pretty weakened when we joined. I guess we were too strong for the monster" Atsuko's voice came through this time, letting the others know the children were still themselves even if they were fused together into a mecha.

"But we didn't even get the chance to properly fight! I wanted to try out those sword swings uncle Arthur showed me and Emma and show Mama and Papa we can fight!" Isamu said, sounding like the Star Child was having a temper tantrum, as the Star Robot swung it's arms around.

The Star Robot snapped it's fingers "Wait, we're so powerful we could defeat the thing just by showing up like this. That has to prove we're strong, right?" Emma said, the giant robot looked down to see the concerned faces of Minato and Ophis, the Star robot broke apart into four balls of light that lowered down before turning back into the Star Children. "Look, see, we're okay" Emma said as she did a little spin to further her point.

It did little to ease their worries as the Star Children found themselves in the protective grasp of their parents not a moment later.

Taking Kuroka back to the house they laid her on one of the guest beds, Le Fay and Bikou looked her over before giving the others the good news that she will recover and that she she needed was some rest.

Le Fay left to get the last things they needed to learn about the invention of Crowley's apprentice, wanting to make sure what happened to Kuroka didn't happen again and to ensure they could help her when she woke up.

"Minato, may I ask you a question?" Arthur asked Minato, who just finished giving the Star Children a look over to ensure they were well.

As he let the annoyed children go Minato turned to face Arthur "Sure, I'll answer it to the best of my ability"

"Right, though if you don't wish to give me an answer I'll respect you privacy" Arthur waited a moment to let that piece of information sink in before he went forward "Ophis mentioned you had reversed the Evil Piece process before, exactly how many times have you done that?"

Minato paused for a moment as he considered what to say, Ophis trusted Vali and his team enough to bring them in to help with the Star Children but he didn't know enough to tell them about what happened with Diodora Astaroth.

"There's really two ways I can answer that, the number of instances I've used that power and the amount of people affected by it" Minato said as he raised one finger "For instances, I've used this power twice before with the first time being accidental and the second time with purpose" Minato glanced over to where Kuroka was resting "This would be the third time I've used it"

"I see. I'll be honest, I was expecting that number to be a bit higher" Arthur replied, relieved that Minato had used such a power so little that it was unlikely to spread too far. Even if those he turned back confessed to everything most would write them off unless certain individuals backed them, although he did wish Minato have more experience using that power since he just used it on Kuroka "And how many people?"

"16, 17 if you include Kuroka" Minato answered, thinking back to the first time he used the power to revert someone back to a previous state "The first one was a Stray Devil who was fighting against their growing insanity as their body was warping, begging for death so that they could die as themselves" Minato raised his hand as thin aura of light covered it "I reached out a hand wanting to help them, and the next thing I knew the Evil Pieces were on the ground"

Arthur grimaced at Minato's words, he had seen far too many people twisted by Evil Pieces once they 'disobeyed' their Kings, Arthur was no stranger to mercy killing Stray Devils. He was thankfully able to keep Le Fay from having to see such things, but he couldn't deny that she would have to deal with that cruel reality sooner rather then later.

Focusing back on the matters at hand, in the back of his mind Arthur noticed something "The second time you used this power, if it was on 15 people that would be a full Devil Peerage"

"It was" Minato admitted "The Devil they were working for, let's just say left much to be desired" he frowned, his outstretch hand tightening into a fist "'Recruited' his peerage on false pretension at best, he mentally broke more then a few before reincarnating them as his playthings" Minato met Arthur's gaze with his own "So I got them out of there, I've been doing what I can to help them get back on their feet but the what becomes of them is their decision to make"

"That's a sure-firer way to make yourself enemies, I imagine a lot of Devils would be up in arms about something like that" Bikou said as he approached Minato and Arthur, a serious expression on a face that usually wore a carefree one.

Minato shrugged "Any who would allow such things are no allies of mine to begin with" looking to the current Monkey King Minato saw a look in his eyes that told him he was there for another reason "Do you have a question, like Arthur?"

"How were you able to use Vishnu's bow, Saarnga?" Bikou asked, his eyes focused on Minato. Arthur's eyes widened, though he felt divine power from the bow he didn't think it would belong to a god as powerful as Vishnu "I know for a fact that bow wasn't made into a Sacred Gear, I saw it myself several years ago, so how did you get your hands on it?"

"I can recreate weapons legendary figures use, more than Vishnu's bow. I can show you, if you'll let me" Minato offered, he had already showed what he could so there was no point in denying it especially with someone who had seen this world's version of Saarnga.

Bikou's gaze bored into Minato as he looked for anything that would hint to him misleading them or hiding something, not looking away the current Monkey King pulled out the staff he had inherited along with the title of Monkey King "Try this"

No sooner had those left his mouth did an exact copy of the Monkey King's staff appeared in Minato's hands, Bikou hesitantly took hold of the copy and quickly realized he couldn't tell the difference between the fake and the original. At one point Bikou even mixed the two up and it wasn't only due to Minato recalling his copy of the staff that the confusion was cleared up, things quickly devolved from 'interrogating possible thief of a god''s weapon' to 'seeing what else Ophis's secret weapon could conjure up'

"So, why the long faces?"

Vali asked as he sat down with the Star Children, Ophis beside her children as they didn't seem willingly to tell her what was wrong. Since Minato was busy caring for Kuroka with Bikou and Arthur that left only Vali and Lilith to help get to the source of the problem.

The Star Children didn't answer, instead they played with their card necklaces and with the snakes they inherited from Ophis.

"They've, been like this since they… combined" Ophis said, her concern clear to see "I'm, worried them combining may have-"

"That's not it!" Emma stood up as she looked to her mother "We're upset because you and daddy won't let us help mummy!"

"Yeah! We're not made of glass, we're tough" Isamu said, flex his muscles as he did "I was able to pin the monkey guy on the floor"

"You aren't even a day old" Ophis said as she met the gaze of her children.

Billy crossed his arms "Not a day old and we beat the monster terrorizing Aunty Kuroka without even doing anything while using Mecunite"

Ophis frowned at the mention of that ability "How did you know how to do that?"

The Star Children collectively shrugged "We just knew how to do, can't really say more beyond that"

Vali could tell the conversation was being to either stall or going off course, he glanced to Lilith who nodded already having an idea of what Vali was planning to do.

"You know, I'm actually really envious of you kids" Vali said, getting the attention of the Star Children.

Billy smirked "Jealous because we can combine into a giant mecha"

Vali closed his eyes with a smirk "Please, I can turn into a dragon. Way cooler than your Mecunite" he opened his eyes to look at the Star Children "No, what I'm jealous of is that both your parents care about you"

"Do you want to talk about it, uncle Vali?" Emma asked, not really knowing what was wrong with Vali other then he looked sad talking about his parents.

Unknown to the Star Children and Ophis, Vali and Albion's hearts skipped a beat at being called uncle. The cuteness factor almost being too much for him.

"I'm fine, I just want to say that you should try and be a bit more understanding with your parents" Vali said, recovering from being called an uncle 'I guess this what early developing parental instincts are, eh Arthur'

"Respect and compromise" Lilith whispered into Ophis's ear "You need to respect your children's opinions and try and find compromises, there's no guarantee you'll both be happy but it's better than the alternative"

Ophis looked to Lilith uncertain who smiled in response.

"I say this as mother myself, and believe me I have had lots of experience in that department" Lilith got up and moved closer to the entry of the room, knowing though the link with Minato that Bikou was getting excited with the weapons Minato was showing off, and fearing the current Monkey King was the swearing sort positioned herself to prevent the Star Children from learning curse words.

Compromise and respect, those words circle Ophis mind as she thought of a middle ground for her children. Letting out a sigh, she offers a compromise "Okay, I'll take with your father. If he agrees with it, we'll look into letting fight only after you get extensive training"

The Star Children huddled together as they whispered amongst themselves for a moment before throwing themselves onto Ophis in a surprise group hug, thanking her for giving them the chance to protect them. Ophis returned the hug, finding the smiling faces of her children preferable to them pouting.

Looking on Vali was reminded of his own mother, before he could stew on those thoughts for long he found a pair of arms wrapping around him.

"I hope you don't mind, felt a little left out not being in a hug" Lilith said as she rested her chin on Vali's head. He found the act strangely comforting, it wasn't like the times Lavinia Reni or Natsume Minagawa embraced him when he was younger, it felt close to how he felt when his mother comforted him after suffering abuse from his own father and grandfather.

'Albion, who is this woman?' Vali asked his partner, wanting to know if he felt something off about 'Granny Lili'

'She's powerful, I can tell you that much. Other then that, there is a faint blood connection I can pick up on. Maybe she's one of the direct descendants of one Lilith's nameless demons that had children with the direct descendants of Adam and Eve?' Albion offered as an answer. Not entirely sure what Lili was, only knowing that she wasn't a threat to Vali and seemed compelled to mother him.

The peaceful moment in the room, of mothers embracing children, was abruptly cut short as Bikou looked in with a massive grin on his face.

"Vali, you gotta see this! The bas-" Bikou froze mid sentence as Lilith glared at the boy before her.

"Swear in front of the children, and you'll be burrowed waist deep in the moon upside down" Lilith warned, a seemingly over the top threat but one Bikou felt on a primal level was one that would be followed through on "Now, what does Vali need to see?"

Bikou pointed down the hall "Minato can summon different weapons and he just summoned a complete Excalibur, how the thing was before it was broken" he looked down the hall knowing he just got Vali's attention "And I'm not entirely sure how Arthur's handling it"

As the others were told this, a teary eyed Arthur asked if Minato was interested in joining the Pendragon family.

Author's Notes:

Had an idea for this crossover for a while, with the mentioning of the connection of the Tarot to the Zodiac being the sign of how long the idea has been in my head. That and I'm surprised no one has tried to use some of the elements of the Conception franchise [One game on the PSP, the Sequel on the DS and a Remake for the first game on PC and home consoles that came with a bad anime], even bad shows have interesting ideas that can be salvaged.

Honestly, I wasn't planning on making this a two chapter Omake but the muse wouldn't let me go.

Part 2 will go into explanations and a new character to help with those explanations.

Keep in mind the "-" means that particular class is an Advance one that require extra steps to unlock. But feel free to make your own Classes or borrow existing one's from other franchises if you want to make a Conception story / crossover.

Heck, you could give the Star Children extra powers inspired by things like the Constellar, Tellarknights, Gem Knights and Zoodiacs from Yugioh! Cardfight Vanguard's Zodiac Time Beasts and I'm sure other card games with Zodiac themed cards. The various saints / clothes of Saint Seiya or taking inspiration from Uchu Sentai Kyuranger. And all of that without factoring in what powers they could gain from their parents and how they mix together.

[1] For those curious, think of DxD Aleister Crowley like the one in the To Aru series. Just more pervy and with no grand plan in the works.

While a mighty Magician there were few who were willing to recruit Crowley for one reason or another and those that tried to force him or his followers to join met with 'unfortunate fates' More than a few would have prefered if Aleister Crowley didn't gain a longer life span.

[2] A dream in which Minato plays the role of Kiran and fights alongside Alfonse (Fire Emblem Heroes Protagonist) and Euden (Dragalia Lost Protagonist) with Sonic the Hedgehog running support. WHY? Dragalia Lost has had crossovers with both Persona and Fire Emblem, not to mention Sonic the Hedgehog had a collab with Shin Megami Tensei Dx2 to celebrate his 30th Anniversary.

Meaning, in Dx2 you can battle gods and demons in a post apocalyptic world with Guts from Berserk, Dante from the Devil May Cry series and Sonic the Hedgehog.

[4] Fun fact. Aleister Crowley has made several appearances in the SMT series. Once as a follower of Lucifer in SMT 2, is the client of two cases in the Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon game and has two different Persona versions (One as a human sorcerer and another as a currupted Demon)
