Author's Note: Here's a snippet suggested by [ Phantom Thief of Hearts ], Ophis's first sleepover. I haven't really read or watched a lot of sleepovers in stories so I'm going with what I can think up.

Submitted Idea: Slumber Party

"A slumber, party?" Ophis said, curious about the topic she saw on the cover of a magazine with Japanese girls in a bedroom with them laying on a bed together. Ophis picked up the magazine to get a better look, as she read more of what a slumber party was the more curious she became with the photos of the smiling girls on the pages helping to tell her it was suppose to be a fun event.

The section talking about what a slumber party actually is was very little with the information provided being shallow, seeing this source of information drying up Ophis put the magazine back and sought out help to learn more about what a slumber party was.

Minato didn't hesitate to answer any questions she had regarding slumber parties, they had a chance to talk about it in later that night "Slumber parties are things were friends spend the night together, usually at one of their homes but they could go some-place else like a hotel, before going back to their own homes afterwards"

Nodding along Ophis thought for a moment if she staying with Minato counted as a slumber party before quickly realizing it wasn't, they were living together and a slumber party dependent on the various participants having other homes to return to.

"Have, you ever been to a slumber party?" Ophis asked, wondering if Minato had any experience with this topic.

Minato closed his eyes for a moment as he considered the question and searched his memories "Well, my sister and I would sleepover at a friend's house regularly and that friend would sleepover with us when we were younger" he smiled a little "Really, it felt like the three of us had two places to call home" his smiled faded as he searched his mind for other events that counted as a sleepover "Though I didn't really go to another after... you know"

Ophis lightly tightened her hold on Minato to give him a comforting squeeze, one Minato quickly returned by moving his head closer to her.

"Normally we'd do our homework together, play together, stay up late doing whatever that came to mind, she even suffered through the abysmal early performances of my sister and I before joining in with an instrument of her own" Minato smiled as a hazy memory resurfaced in his mind "We also played a lot of truth or dare, I don't know where to begin when talking about all the weird things our parents walked in on us doing"

"Truth or Dare?" Ophis asked, curious at the topic and how it was responsible for weird things.

Minato met Ophis gaze "It's a game where someone chooses between Truth, in which they have to truthfully answer any question, or Dare, in which they have to do a specific action" giving it some thought he got an idea "Let's try it out. I'll pick truth and you can ask me anything"

"What, sort of weird things did your parents walk in on?" Ophis asked, while she didn't normally poke around Minato's past too much she couldn't help herself wanting to know more about what he did as a child.

Minato furrowed his brow in thought as he tried to remember what they did do, however only one scene in particular came to mine "Well, the weirdest thing may have been the pretend wedding we had"

Ophis's eyes widened as she raised herself up on the bed a little "W-wedding"

Ophis's knowledge of weddings was sparse, gathered more from general osmosis than actually looking into the subject, she mainly knew it was something that was suppose to forever bind two people together for the rest of their lives.

"Yeah, my sister was insistent on me marrying Mahiru so that we could all stay friends forever and ever" Minato smiled as his childhood memories became clearer "She said that if I didn't she would"

He could clearly see his sister's energetic declaration and Mahiru's bright red face, mumbling about marrying her two best friends.

Ophis, meanwhile, imagined a faceless bride chaining Minato's hands together with hers before flying away into a cage forever out of reach. The image caused Ophis to pout, she lowered herself back on the bed so that Minato couldn't see her. To get her mind away from the sour subject Ophis turned her attention to how she could use a slumber party to further her plans of defeating Great Red.

...Ophis realized she hadn't spent a lot of time with the girls she has been working with, at least not with males present, it could make for an interesting experiment to bond with others and strengthen their loyalty.

And, the way Minato said it made it sound kind of fun.

"Would you, tell me what one needs for a sleepover?"

The next day Minato and Ophis sat on the floor of Minato's bedroom with an empty bottle between them, they had spent a good portion of the day going over what people did at sleepovers with Minato relying mostly on his own vague memories of the one's he went to and things seen in movies.

"Spin the bottle?"

"Yeah, we used it to decided who went next with truth or dares. Though, I think it's also used for a kissing game" Minato said, frowning as he tried to remember a particular scene from a movie he watched with one of his relatives "Anyway, whoever the bottle points to has to decide truth or dare and let the other person decides what happens. Understand?"

Giving a nod Ophis spun the bottle between them, it spun so fast it was a blur for a moment before slowing down to point to Ophis herself. She now found herself in the position of deciding on following an absolute order from Minato or revealing whatever she knew to be the truth, or at least that's what Ophis thought as she considered between choosing Truth or Dare.

Minato waited patiently for Ophis to give her answer, in the end she decided on truth.

"Okay, what's your favourite music? It can be vague like a genre or some other way of describing it" Minato asked, wanting to give Ophis an easy one to help ease her into the game.

Ophis tilted her head as she considered the question "Something, soft. Usually nothing with a lot of base, but there can be exceptions"

With her truth given Ophis spun the bottle again, this time a little more gently, the bottle slowed down as it pointed to Minato but continued onward to point to Ophis again. Seeing as she had already chosen truth she decided to go for a dare for her second choice.

Minato furrowed his brow as he tried to think up a dare for Ophis to do but nothing seemed to come to mind, it didn't help that he wanted her first dare to be easy, with a bit of uncertainty he settled on a dare "I dare you, to hop on one foot"

Without hesitation Ophis hopped on one foot for a few seconds, only stopping for a moment to consider which foot to hop on.

The bottle was spun once more, and this time it landed on Minato who tapped his chin as he considered what to pick. He settled on dare and waited for Ophis to give her order.

"I dare you, to give me a piggyback ride" Ophis said, for a moment considering having Minato go out and defeat Great Red before squishing that idea as the final battle against her enemy would need proper preparations and, it had been a while since Minato gave her a piggyback ride and she missed it.

The two of them walked around the forest outside, taking in the cool air and the quiet sounds of nature. As Minato walked a short trail that would quickly take them back to the house to continue their game Ophis rest her head on Minato's shoulders with her eyes closed, basking in the moment she was having with Minato.

When the two got back Minato spun the bottle this time, for the third time it landed on Ophis "Dare, also" she paused for a moment before continuing "Don't hold back, I have an idea on how this game is played. I want, to do it in earnest"

Minato met her gaze for a moment before a smirk tugged on his lips "In that case, I dare you…"

Several minutes later, Ophis was on the phone to Mrs Nakajima.

"Yeah, it was good talking to you" Ophis said as she looked to Minato, she wasn't fully aware of what the dare would do but saw no harm in it "See you soon, Mama" Ophis put down the phone, partially aware of some kind of squealing noise coming from the phone moments before she ended the call.

Minato chuckled lightly "I have a feeling she was happy to hear that"

Ophis looked to Minato, uncertain what he meant (?) She put that aside as they returned to the game. Spinning the bottle again it landed on Minato who chose dare, this time Ophis decided to try out something she saw a pair of people doing the other day.

"Comfortable?" Minato asked as he looked down as Ophis was resting her head on his thighs, unconsciously moving a lock of hair out of Ophis's face as she enjoyed the lap pillow.

"Hmmhmm" The Dragon God said, finding the experience of a lap pillow to be rather nice. As she laid her head a thought crossed Ophis's mind, a curious thoughts that led to her looking up to Minato with a question "Do you, want to try it? We can switch"

Not a minute later the roles we're reversed with Ophis giving Minato a lap pillow, it took Minato a moment to get relaxed as it was his first time getting a lap pillow like Ophis but once he did he found it very relaxing as if he could fall asleep at any moment.

Eventually they moved onto to other games to try, such as twister where Ophis won effortlessly due to her natural shapeshifting, this went all into the night as the Infinite Dragon God familiarized herself with the concept of a sleepover and Minato had a chance to re-experience something from his childhood.

With the new knowledge as her disposal Ophis turned to using it to bond with her female allies, making a short list of who to invite. The list ended up being shorter than expected as Ophis realized she knew only a handful of her allies by name.

Ophis sat on her bed, looking over her invited slumber party guests as they got themselves comfortable. Le Fay was chatting with her friend Meredith as this was to be their first slumber party as well, both looking excited. Aika had a smirk on her face as she kept her hands around the extra bag she brought for later, Kiyome was giving her under-classmen a worried look as she tried to learn what was in the bag.

Ingvild, the direct descendant of the original Leviathan, sat next to Ophis s she chatted with Satou who kept glancing over to her aunt Kosho who was acting as their chaperone for the night.

"Alright~ What do you want to do tonight? It's just us girls here and the only ground rule is not to cause too much damage" Kosho said, a bit of cheer in her voice as she looked over the others to hear their suggestions

Aika laughed a little as she reached into her bag and pulled out a DVD case, for a moment giving Kiyome the chance to see even more where in the bag Aika was intent on keeping hidden "I brought along a little something, in case we needed something to spice up the night"

"The Exorcist?" Meredith said as she spotted the title of the movie Aika had bought, however looking closer she quickly learnt from the box art and misspelling that what Aika was holding wasn't the infamous 1970's film. Holding back a wince Meredith turned to Aika with a sympathetic look "I don't think that's the real film, I think you bought a knock off"

"Ah, ah, ah" Aika said as she handed Meredith the case, a smirk still on her face "It's not a knock off. It's a special type of parody"

Meredith gave the pigtailed girl a confused look before lifting up the cover to more thoroughly examine it, just as she read a few of the smaller words and learnt of what Aika brought the others learned it as well as they were able to see the back of the back

"EEP!" Meredith as the DVD box flew upwards out of her hands only to be caught by Aika, who let out a sigh of relief that the special movie she bought wasn't damaged.

"Pervert" Satou said with a disappointed expression, and a little mad that Aika brought such filth into her senpai's home.

Looking over everyone, Ophis knew this night of bonding was going to be a long one.

The following night Minato listened as Ophis told him of what happened during the sleepover, from Le Fay and Meredith kissing during a game of truth or dare with the two looking on in shock as Aika's perverted brand of magic to Ingvild singing for the others with her song having a greater effect on Ophis due to her Sacred Gear Nereid Kyrie.

"Sounds like you had lots of fun" Minato said as the Infinite Dragon God finished the retelling of her first sleepover.

"Yeah, it was" Ophis replied, looking after to a spot on the far wall before turning to Minato with an apologetic look "Sorry" she said, as she spotted the scorch marks from Aika's 'magic trick'
