Author's Note: This here is a continuation of the Future Children segment from the Holiday Special Chapter, the bit of Minato's and Issei's children from the future coming back in time, decided to try and see where things could go further and they led to surprising places.

Future Children part 2, Crossing of Parallel Lines.

After a tense stand off between the children from two different futures, their parents being the only thing keeping them from coming to blows and even then those from different timelines who shared one parent but not two were a hair's breath away from clashing.

They headed to the Hyoudou Residence to discuss things, offering to sit down and meet with Issei's future children somewhere they'd prefer and not to fight them on that matter. They gathered in the living room with Minato's group on one side and Issei's on the other, the pained look on Issei's Zen and Kurobara made when both Kuroka and Xenovia sat with Minato's group forced the two mothers to stand off to the side between the two groups that held children from different timelines.

Though, they weren't alone in getting uncomfortable stares from the visitors from another timeline as a future version of Gasper arrived with Issei's children and kept shooting worried looks at Valerie as he kept an eye on Minato and the children the two had together.

Issei's children learning Minato himself was from another world, for the sake of full transparency, didn't do them any favours if the way they all tensed up was anything to go by.

"We're in a different timeline" Ex, the future son of Issei and Rias said as he gave Minato an uneasy look "One that came about because of you, I'll admit to wanting to know exactly what you changed"

Ophis decided she didn't much care for the one called Ex, if not for the accusatory tone being directed at Minato than for he and his group interrupting what was suppose to be her special day with Minato. Although, she could be more forgiving for the latter due to how they got to meet their future children.

Ophis leaned closer to Minato in response, Yuuki notice his parents getting cosy together and allowed a small smile in response. Asia seemed to have gotten the same idea as she copied Ophis by leaning closer to Issei.

"Unfortunately, we'd be here all night with just the overview so for now let's focus on the thing that will prevent our timelines from being destroyed" Great Red said as she stared down the future children of the Red Dragon Emperor to test their nerves, seeing them not even flinching brought a toothy grin to her face "So, let's keep the relevant and deal with the issues endangering our timelines"

"Right, we should get on that. Good idea Red Boss" Issei quickly answered, wanting to ease the tense atmosphere and actually get time to get his head around what was happening.

"Boss, Red?" the daughter of Issei and Asia, Airi, repeated with a puzzled expression as she turned to her father with the rest of her siblings "Father, who is this woman?"

"Oh, she's Great Red" Issei answered without giving much thought to the question.

"Wait a minute, YOUR Great Red!" Mordred, the child of Issei and Le Fay exclaimed as the rest of his siblings looked on in shock "But, we were told your were a guy"

"I'm a dragon, I can be whatever I damn well please and if anyone has a problem with it they can say it to my face" Great Red said as she leaned back and put an arm over Minato's shoulders with the other held up for a high, one her son Makoto gave with a grin.

Kurenai, the eldest of Issei's children and son of Akeno, looked dumbfounded as the anomaly from another world had the Infinite Dragon God on one arm and the Dragon of Dragons on the other.

He made a mental note to make sure his sisters didn't spent time around this Minato, he either had some means of controlling two of the strongest beings in the world or had so much charm that if any of his sisters fell for the literal alien they would only get their hearts broken when they had to go their separate ways.

He put those thoughts aside for a moment as he looked over the members of this Minato's harem. Aside from the literal Dragon Gods and their mothers who didn't end up with their father in this timeline, Kurenai recognized Abe as she helped them all get their familiars so she was a family friend of sorts and one of their father's possible mistresses.

He also saw their father's second knight Bennia standing with Minato's 'group' along with aunt Valerie, Kurenai recognized the sister of Gasper after he got a good look at her, however he had no idea who the other three were.

Satou and Kosho, they felt like normal humans but for whatever reason Kurenai couldn't shake the feeling he had seen them on TV before. He gave them a once over before turning his attention to the other dragons present, namely the five blue haired dragonesses.

For some strange reason he couldn't shake the familiarity in regards to them, he tried to figure out what he was feeling when he noticed something. The babies were getting teary eyed, their mother quickly soothed the twin babies while their older selves looked to Kurenai with annoyed looks.

"Aoi is mine and Albion's child, making Jaajaa and Nana our grandchildren, if your feeling any familiarity that's probably it" Ddraig said, shocking Issei's future children "Yeah, it came as surprise for us as well"

Before the line of questioning regarding the heirs of the Heavenly Dragons the front door of the Hyoudou residents opened as two figures rushed in, both being muscular men in Hawaiian shirts with one having their fully buttoned while the other left there's open.

"Sorry we're late, had to pick up Michael from Valhalla" Azazel said as he gestured to his brother so that the others could see the muscled torso that few had seen off the battlefield, as Michael was in the middle of closing his shirt "This old battle genius was having too much fun leading a large scale war game against Odin and Zeus"

"Brother, if you were forced to give up on all you love to work a desk job for centuries you would be singing a different tune" Michael's words caused Azazel to pale, the very idea was not something he wanted. Michael greeted the others with a much more lively expression than the time he was on the Admin for Heaven's System "So, what's happening now?"

"What the-! Aren't you two suppose to be holding back Trihexa with the others!?" Ex exclaimed as he jumped to his feet, his face pale at the idea of the threat of 666 being present.

The Archangel and Fallen Angel gave Ex a confused look, the two looking to each other before they turned back "The Beast 666 has been dealt with already, last I heard everyone knew about this"

"Wha-?" was the collective response of Issei's children.

It took a while to go over how the threat of Trihexa was dealt with in the different timelines, and more than once Michael was thankful for Minato arriving in their world. Azazel insistent on doing a DNA test to make sure the so called future children were on the up and up, wanting to be better safe than sorry and wanting an excuse to dig out his latest paternity test.

[1] The test wouldn't take long so as soon they were done they could shift their attention to the main issue of Loki and his alien allies-

"Issei, you're not the father"

With those five words any headway made in dealing with the issue at hand was swept away as Azazel came back with that bombshell, Issei looked heart broken at the news with everyone looking to Azazel in shock.

"Oh! Wait, I think I know what the issue is!" the Issei's said Kurobara, looking to her sister/cousin with a comforting look before continuing "Dad still has his original body in this timeline, we were all born after he was revived with a new one made from Great Red's flesh and Ophis's power"

""What?"" both Great Red and Ophis said at the same time, looking to each other for a moment before turning to look at Issei at once.

Azazel blinked as he processed the titbit of information "That sounds like something out of a trashy power fantasy novel" he looked over to the Dragon Gods as they sat next to a literal Messiah from another world "Though, I've read worst. But, no, even if Issei got a new body this would factor that in. Look at this as an example"

Azazel fiddled with his device a little cause it to cast a blue glow over Minato and his children, however the blue light over Jaajaa and Nana wasn't as intense as their siblings, the Fallen Angel leader pointed to them "See how Jaajaa and Nana's glow isn't as intense as their siblings, that's because them being Minato's daughters is a bit more of a grey area with room for debate"

"While not directly involved with their conception, as Aoi laid their eggs through asexual reproduction, Minato giving them his life force to help them survive until they could be born proper" Michael explained as he saw the confused look on Issei's children faces "The twins came into this world through both Aoi and Minato, but it is possible they could have been born with only Aoi involved had circumstances been a little different"

"Hence why it's a grey area. This can pick up whose the father of who even if the person had body swapped with someone else, which is admittedly a large part as why I made this thing in the first place" Azazel held up his device for everyone to get a good look at it "But if I focus on Issei himself"

Issei began to glow red, he looked at his arms before turning to his children from the future. Not one of them were glowing red.

"Maybe, maybe it's because we're from a different timeline. Our genetic make up could be just that different that your stupid thing can't connect the dots" offered up Robertina, the daughter of Issei and Ravel Phenex, wanting nothing more for this 'revelation' to be a mistake or a simple misunderstanding.

Azazel's expression brightened for a moment "Good point, from what little you've told us your timeline has diverged massively from out own. If we check your mothers" he trailed off as he adjusted the test.

A pink glow came over the children from the other timeline and their mothers, the glow surrounding them was just as intense as it was for Minato and his children. Azazel readjusted his device for a moment, the pink glow fading from Ex and his siblings and their mothers as a pink glow covered Minato's children and their mothers.

Once more, a red glow surrounded Issei and no one else.

The defeated expression Issei's face was heartbreaking to see, those in his group did all they could to try and comfort him him as the children from the alternate timeline were either distraught or in full denial over what they were just told.

"H-Hey, being a dad is more than just being blood related" Future!Jaajaa blurted out, wanting to help the visitors from another timeline despite the damage they caused in her own timeline.

Future!Nana nodded "Yeah, while Minato being our father is a grey area him taking care of us and raising us makes him our dad" she looked up for a moment as some of the earliest memories she had came to the forefront of her mind "Not to say he didn't mess up or stumble at times, but he always did his best for us and was up front in any failings"

Future!Jaajaa gave Ex and his siblings a comforting look "Yeah, while he might not be your biological father I'm sure Issei was or will be" Future!Jaajaa shook her head "Time travel, still confusing. Issei was a good dad to you all growing up"

"...A month" Ex replied as all emotion seemingly drained from his expression, the tension in the room growing heavier "That's how long I've spent time with my 'dad'" He said with a bitter tinge at the end "He's never home and when he is he spends most of his time in the bedroom with our mums, for most of my childhood I thought he was some random stranger that was NTR scum"

"Ex?" Issei asked as he looked at the boy from the future with a worried look, Issei flinched back when Ex turned to him as years of built up frustrations began to boil over.

"The first time I decided I would train myself to get stronger it was because I wanted to kick you to the curb and make sure you would never return, I thought Vali was our father because he was certainly around to actually raise us" Emotion began returning to Ex's face, that of anger as his face began to take on the same shade of crimson as his and his mother's hair "You didn't raise us, barely spent anytime with us that didn't involve talking about breasts and now we learn we aren't even related by blood"

Kurenai jumped to his feet and went over to Azazel as Airi tried to calm their brother down "Let me see that for a moment, there has to be a mistake here somewhere. There has to be" Azazel handed his device to Kurenai and watched him work it, the more he watched the more impressed he was at the skill the future child was displaying "Let's see who our father is according to this thing"

A red glow came over Ex and his siblings again, as they looked over themselves they noticed an intense red glow coming from Minato's group.

Great Red stiffened as she saw a red glow covering her completely, everyone went wide eyed at that development.

"I see, it seems what happened was less Issei gained a new body from the Dragon Gods and more he was puppeteering a chunk of Great Red's flesh sculpted to look like his old body with his soul anchored and sustained by Ophis's power to prevent it being overpowered by Great Red" Woz said, speaking up for the first since the meeting began.

Ophis gave Great Red a blank look "Homewrecker"

"I'm not a Homewrecker!" Great Red replied.

Makoto looked to Yuuki as he pointed to himself "Wait, does that mean their my half siblings as well?"

Things seemed to go down hill further from there, Ex stormed off with half of his siblings following after him while the rest stayed behind to help protect their family and try to locate Loki and his alien allies with Azazel and Michael getting help from the Grigori and Heaven while Rias made a call to her brother.

"Well, that got really uncomfortable at the end" Kiyome said as their group left the Hyoudou residents, wanting to give them some space after the ordeal they went through. She looked behind them to see the massive building that became of Issei's home, it wouldn't have stuck out in the city but in the residential area it was a real eyesore "Do you think they would be alright?"

Raidou shrugged at his mother's question "That's a difficult question to answer, we haven't had to deal with anything like that ourselves so we don't have the best frame of reference"

"Yeah, the biggest drama we've gone through is either the competitions we compete together in or Mama Satou's machinations to make all of humanity descendants of dad" Ryuji said as he gave his mother a piggyback ride.

Satou stiffened at those words, the group coming to a stop to look at her due to Ryuji's words. Feeling Minato's curious gaze being aimed at her Satou froze for a moment, like a deer in the headlights.

Before she could reply Kosho's son and Satou's cousin Asahi shrugged as he answered "It's nothing that major, the plan boils down to dad having as many kids possible and those kids doing the same so that everyone can trace their family tree back to him" Asahi made a so-so gesture "It's basically like how 0.5 percent of the world are descendants of Genghis Khan, only turbo charged beyond belief"

"Satou, have you conceived of this plan already before this?" Xenovia asked the younger girl point blank, seeing little point in lying she nodded her head that she had considered the idea. In an instant Xenovia held Satou's hand in her own "Wonderful, let me help. I have been fantasying about mothering a knightly order with mine and Minato's children, but if we all chip in we could have chapters based all around the world helping the spread of his genes"

Kuroka placed her hand on top of Xenovia's "Oh~ Count me in as well, I know some senjutsu that can help the process along~"

"I'll offer whatever aid I can" Kosho said as she joined in. Valerie didn't say anything as she joined her hands in with the others. As the hands were together one of Ophis's snakes appeared and took on the form of a hand, letting them know she was in as well without saying a word.

Kiyome blushed at the antics before her, Aoi ended up daydreaming about a horde of little dragon babies, Bennia would join in as well if she wasn't getting a piggyback ride from her future son and Great Red was still reeling from the sudden influx of children.

Minato looked at the group with a conflicted like "Hey, while I want a large family I'm not sure if we can handle too many at once-"

"True, but you do have an unfair advantage in the future by using Krishna's duplication ability. The same one that Krishna used for his 'special time' with sixteen thousand princesses" Zen added, interrupting his father and surprising him with that piece of information "Pretty sure that's partially responsible for you being tied with the blind king Dhritirashtra in regards to the number of children you have"

"We have a hundred children!" Minato exclaimed as his usual calm was utterly devastated by that piece of information, the mention of a hundred children stopping the others in their tracks.

Zen noticed one of his siblings giving him an unamused look before shrugging his shoulders and looking away "Maybe"

Satou's mind, meanwhile, was active with the new possibilities before her. What seemed like an impossible dream was becoming closer and closer to being a reality 'It's all coming together'

Elsewhere, Azazel and Michael met up after passing along the information to those they trusted most. Both keeping an eye on the children from the future, however the more they watched the more one thought became apparent in their minds.

"You know, you have to feel bad for those kids" Azazel said as he saw Ex and his half sibling Zen getting into a shouting match "Not just about the whole parent situation, but also the world they came from. I mean" Azazel turned to his Archangel brother "What does it say about a world that a Red Dragon Emperor empowered by both the Dragons of Dreams and Infinite has to constantly keep the peace around the world, objectively it sounds worse than what we had a few years ago"

Michael nodded "Yes, it's a house of cards that can only last for so long before it all comes tumbling down" Michael frowned with a deep worry in his eyes "Brother, remind me did they say anything about Heaven's System being repaired in their world?"

"I don't believe so, they never mentioned Father returning and without Minato there- The chances are very high the whole system would still be damaged, likely being far worst off than what we had considering the prologued abuse it would go through" Azazel furrowed his brow as his expression grew more concerned "Now that I think about, if Hyoudou still had the Boosted Gear while being empowered by both Great Red and Ophis that means he would still be connected to the damaged system like all Sacred Gears Wielders"

A palpable dread began to settle between the two brothers of Heavenly origin, both taking their eyes off the future children for a moment as a nightmare scenario played out in their heads.

"Please tell me Issei Hyoudou didn't have any major obsessions before becoming a Devil" Michael asked his Fallen Brother, hoping the answer was no and that Issei's current fixation on breasts was due to becoming a Devil.

[2] "He was a breast freak, couldn't even hide it, being a Devil likely only made it worst if not outright enabling him" Azazel answered as the dread became apparent on their faces "Meaning someone with a distorted mindset with a connection to Heaven's System rapidly became more powerful and with the more victories they claimed the worst the effects of their distorted mindset became pronounced and making others more accepting of it, likely causing the world itself to bend to Hyoudou's subconscious desires-"

"Before eventually destroying the world itself" Michael's expression was grim as the situation in the other timeline became more apparent "Meaning these children have bigger issues than a time travelling Trickster god working with aliens"

"I'll speak with that future Gasper, ask him questions and hopefully things aren't as bad as we're making them out to- Wait, where'd one of them go?" Azazel asked as he noticed one of the future children was missing, that being the son of Issei and Xenovia.

The clashing of swords brought the attention of everyone, going to the source they found the missing son of Issei locking blades with another. That being Minato's son Zen.

The children of Xenovia from two different timelines faced off against each other. The two broke apart for a moment as Minato's Zen level his sword at his counterpart.

"Leave this place, now" He said "I'm not letting you kill my Aunt Kanna a second time"

"Your aunt?" Airi asked just as a commotion could be heard from nearby.

[3] "Kanna, let the man go"

"But Tohru, this man has my Mama's soul inside him"

"Wait, are you another one of Albion's children?" Vali asked as a little dragon girl that couldn't have be more than nine hugged him and wouldn't let go, meanwhile a dragon in a humanoid form wearing a maid outfit tried to pull the dragon Loli off Vali.

Issei's Zen narrowed his eyes as he levelled a glare at Minato's Zen, he rushed forward as the clash resumed in earnest.

[1] As the time of writing this, I think Ichiei Ishibumi (God of Breasts) ripped off the first Avengers movie with EX's plot. Especially considering when the novels were released.

[2] I'll go over this in more detail if I make another follow up to this, but basically the reason for Issei's plot armour and breast based power ups is due to a mixture of Heaven's systems being damaged as well as other things mucking it up further such as Issei's distorted mind (think Persona 5 with Palaces and Jails, and how they drew in more Shadows) and things only got worst when he got the power boost from Great Red and Ophis.

The Sacred Gear System was designed for humans, not for some nascent devil dragon god.
