The elevator door dings, and DJ takes in a deep breath. Gramps, it's good to be home. Myzri, or as his father put it, "the sadder little brother of Lux." Can't really argue with the logic, however, it's not sad all the time… just most of it. DJ breathes the artificial smoke that fills the main room of the bar, it's mainly for the ambiance of the place but he's very much grown to enjoy its presence there.

As he walks out he waves at the bar man Joseph, or as his name tag reads, Joe. Then there is the main bouncer, a giant cyclops disguised as a giant muscular African American man named John Henry, but DJ just calls him Mr. Henry. The band that works there full time accompanying him and other performers as they perform those oh-so-sweet intoxicating jazzy blues that give the place a name. A plethora of humans and monsters all working together to make this place his home. He smiles and looks around at all the patrons in attendance as he adjusts his tie, stopping at the bar.

Joe slides a drink down the bar towards him. He raises the glass at the man and gives a thankful nod before walking away toward the antique piano on the stage. It was a gift from his father, and no, not the one you're thinking of. It was a gift from his birth father, Poseidon. It was for his fortieth birthday and he very much cherishes the instrument. Lucifer once referred to it as his child and well, with how he treats it? Not a bad comparison. He hears the room go quiet as he sits down and reaches his hand out towards the keys.

One of the negatives of being Lucifer's son is that people tend to notice you a lot, and unless he's on a battlefield, DJ tends to shy away from being the center of attention. He plays a few keys, making sure everything was just perfect, just right, but that little test too soon morphed into a whole improvised song. It isn't real, doesn't really exist anywhere but in this moment. He just plays from his heart. Damn, is he glad his dad gave him piano lessons.

After the impromptu song he eyes the band and gently begins to play the opening notes from one of his usual emotional songs. Once seeing they all agree and realize what's happening the performance truly begins. He lovingly strokes the keys and begins to lose himself in his own mind. Changes By Hugh Louire

"Everyone is facing changes, No one knows what's going on."

He thinks back to where this all started. That fucking beach cabin in Montauk. Grover kicking in the door. Being chased by the minotaur… Losing his mother.

"And everyone is changing places, Still the world keeps moving on"

Despite his mother and what happened, he had to move on. Learning to fight, making new friends at camp, then the quest. Then no matter what happened, everything just kept changing.

"Love must always change to sorrow, And everyone must play the game"

Memories of Annabeth, once the best of his life flash before him. The cheek kiss before he got shot from a volcano, their first kiss underwater, then their time alone aboard the Argus II.

"Because it's here today and gone tomorrow, still the world goes on the same"

Now he thinks of the love and friendship he shared with his fellow campers and the other seven in the war with the giants. Then they left him, after his banishment. Never tried to find him, to talk to him. Well, ok, that's not entirely true. Nico, now the minor god of ghosts, torture, shadows, and the underworld, heir to Hades throne, did at least try to look. Didn't find him till he was already Lucifer's son but the point stands, he tried. No one else bothered. That what really stings for him. Not as much as Annabeth's betrayal, but yeah, it hurts.

"It's here today and gone tomorrow, Still the world goes on the same"

It all just replays. His life from the start all the way to now, finding family only to lose it. Then to find Lucifer and his… at best dysfunctional family and how once again he managed to move on. To keep on all the same. He pours his heart and soul into this, feeling tears forming in his sea green eyes.

He can feel his pain being shared by all the others in the bar who have felt the same things. Hence the name Myzri co. A place to embody the phrase 'Misery loves company'.

He keeps playing, letting all his emotions just flow with the music. One of the few times he let his emotions run wild is when he sings in his bar. He manages to keep it somewhat together and doesn't crumble into a crying mess, today at least, but he can sense that there are many others in the joint who are actively crying. Once the song ends he plasters a broad smile on his face, one that many people say he inherited from his dad, and turns toward the crowd.
"Thank you LA! I'll be here all night!" He hides the emotion from his face but anyone who looks into his eyes can tell it was all real. He then raises his drink to them all.
"To your health!" He shouts, before having a sip and walking into the crowd. At the bar he sees an all too familiar face clapping, a look of pure and utter joy on his chiseled face.
"Well done, DJ! Now if only you could put that kind energy into getting laid it might finally happen, Father damn it," Lucifer says, putting a hand on his back.
"Oh dammit all, not this again Dad," DJ says, instantly rubbing his nose in annoyance.
"Oh don't you damn me, my father already did that! And DJ, your other father agrees with me, you're fifty years old and you've never done the dirty! It's frankly insulting as my son." DJ rolls his eyes. So what if he is a sadder version of the "fifty year old virgin" ? It's his life and he will do what he wants to with it.
"Dad, just leave it alone. You know I've given up hope at this point, and you know I can't do one night stands, that just- it doesn't fly with me," he says looking at his cup as he swirls the liquid inside, sounding kinda remorseful. Lucifer sighs and rubs DJ's shoulder.

"I know son, I know. I-I just want to help. You've done so good over these past few years moving past everything and this is the last thing son. I know, I know it's hard and what that bitch did was just… ugh. Tempts me to drag her to hell myself, but you can do this and I'm just trying to help." DJ can't help it as a small smile appears on his face. He may be the Devil, but Lucifer is one hell of a good dad. If not overbearing, eager, flamboyant and now that he thinks about it he's really not that good of a dad but he really tries his best at it and DJ appreciates that.
"I know Dad I know. Thank you, but please just drop it for now," he says to Lucifer, who's taking the opportunity to look around. His eye has clearly caught on something. Oh Gramps, here we go again with this.
"Now normally I would drop it, but how in the name of home can I do that when that ten out of ten is making her way toward you, my boy? Plus from what I'm reading she is a demi-god of some kind.'' He was about to say something to his dad, some kind of snarky retort. Or just smack him. But then he sees who his dad's referring to. He knows exactly who she is. His breath hitches and his body tenses.
"Oh I see she caught your eye! Well, don't just sit there, get up and- and DJ- hey, DJ are you ok?" As he was encouraging his son to get some tail, he felt the tension rising in his son. The woman is drop dead gorgeous, but no no, this is something else. He looks into his son's eyes and sees the resignation there. It's one of them. His jovial attitude now turns sour.

'How dare, how DARE, one of them come here!' The Devil thinks to himself as he turns his son around so he's not looking at the woman.
"Hey hey, it's ok, stay calm, stay calm. I'll talk to her alright you just stay here-" He is interrupted by her.
"Percy?" His son tenses further and his fists clench. He can feel the rage rising off his son like steam. He has to do something quick, anger and DJ don't go well together; his son is a literal powder keg that is waiting for an excuse to blow everything down through hell.
"Well well, and just who might you be?!" Lucifer asks as his eyes flare red and he approaches the woman, trying his damn best to hold back his anger and blood lust. He watches the immortal flinch before recomposing herself.
"Excuse me sir, I don't have any business with you. I need to speak to the man behind you," she says in a dismissive tone that only adds to the fire building within the devil before she'd had the chance to speak.

"Well, seeing as the man behind me is my son, I have every right to know what you want with him!" He snaps back, maybe a bit too loudly. He can feel the eyes of the bar-goers on him now.
"Your son? But that's not… Who are you?" She asks as she starts reaching for something.
"I am-"

The devil is cut off by his own son, "Enough. You two are going to cause more of a scene than you already have… follow me." DJ stands up and leads the both of them to the elevator. Lucifer makes an after you gesture and follows her; glaring daggers at her the entire time, all while praying to his father that the hatred in his stare will set this bitch on fire.

Unfortunately that doesn't happen and the three of them are taken up to DJ's penthouse suite. Not as extravagant as his, but it is very much in his son's taste so he can't help but approve. He follows the woman out of the elevator and goes over to the bar, knowing that both he and his son are going to need a lot of alcohol for this conversation.
"Have a seat," DJ says, as he himself sits in a chair and looks at the woman once she is seated.
"Why are you here Reyna Ramírez-Arellano… are you still a Praetor or did your immortality veto that position for you? Don't answer. Don't know why I asked, I don't care," DJ then said, damn that ADHD of his. Reyna had opened her mouth to answer only for DJ to stop her. There's worry in her eyes.
"Percy what happened?" Reyna asked, actually sounding concerned, which only made the two men further infuriated. The temperature of the room begins to rise and all the liquid in the room begins to shake and bubble. DJ takes a very deep breath and runs a hand across his hair as he smooths out any stray hairs that escaped from his bun.
"First things first, Reyna. That is not my name. Not anymore. My name is DJ and I would very much appreciate it if you called me that. Second, what happened? WHAT HAPPENED!? I don't know, Reyna! You tell me what happened thirty-two years ago! You tell me how I was banished from my home, from Olympus! Everything I had fought for was gone! All because of one zappy man-whore's ego!" DJ is now standing and the room begins to shake slightly and the lights flicker. Small parts of his body begin to catch fire and Lucifer runs over to his son.
"DJ- DJ! Hey! Calm down, calm down. I know. Trust me, I know, but the room is starting to shake here and I doubt you want to cause an earthquake in your bar," he says, trying his best to calm him down before things get even more hectic. He frantically pats at the little patches of fire, cringing as his son ruins yet another suit. DJ's eyes are nearly on fire as he glares at Reyna, who's clearly terrified of what's currently happening.
"Why now!? Why look for me now!?" He yells, trying to get past his father, "So Zeus can drag me into a new war?! So I can once again be nothing more than a fucking tool of Olympus! Well that ain't happening! That will never happen again!"
"ENOUGH!" Lucifer yells as he flashes his devil form making Reyna scream, "I believe it is time for you to leave!" He tells her. Despite the clear fear at seeing his devil form she doesn't move her eyes from DJ with a worried, no- desperate look in her eyes. Seeing this, he pulls his son's head in close and whispers in his ear
"Ask her the question. I know you're pissed off, Father be, so am I. But things may not all be what they seem here, son," he whispers before plopping him back in the chair. DJ closes his eyes, attempting to compose himself. After a few minutes of deep breathing and using whatever magical power he has to be patient and get control over himself, something Lucifer never understood, he opens his eyes. With the devil powers inherited from his father, he asks one question.
"Reyna, what do you desire?"
