Chapter 123.

(The Loud House.)

Lincoln comes out of his room, but he encounters Lisa down headed to the stairs, and so he asks. "Hey, Lisa. Where the heck are you going today in such a rush?"

Lisa looks to her brother and replies. "Leni is going to be escorting me to the mall for something I require."

Lincoln is a bit confused, and so he asks. "Ummm, something for you to buy?"

Lisa then shakes her head in denial. "Negative. My goal at the mall is to monitor if our grandfather is taking in the healthy methods I have informed him."

Lincoln is confused at what she had just spoke about. "The what?"

"Forgive me that I cannot be able to explain, but I must get going now." Lisa heads off to meet with Leni outside and this makes Lincoln a bit concerned.

"Well, nothing good can come from that…." Then he hears Patriot fly out from the bedroom of the twins. "Patriot? What's wrong boy?"

Then Lana comes racing out and she seems upset. "Lincoln! Lincoln! We need to take El Diablo to the vet, now!" She then shows him the snake. "He doesn't seem well, we need to do something, Lincoln."

Lincoln looks to the snake, but he cannot sort out what's wrong. "Then let's go!" The duo along with Patriot leave the house, and they head out of the house and they get into the A.I car Lulu. "The vet, and step on it!"

Lulu nods. "Please, hold on!" Lulu hits the gas and they race off to get El Diablo to the vet, but they don't know that Chunk's van arrived the same time they left.

Chunk then looks to Luna. "What do you think that was all about luv?"

Luna thinks about this and she has some concerns about what might be going on. "I don't know, Chunk. But something tells me that we should follow them, hit it dude!"

"You got it Luv!" said Chunk, but before he could hit the gas and follow, someone else yells.

"Luna!" They see Jordan and she's on her bike. "I just got here, and I spotted Lincoln leaving in a rush, what the heck is going on?"

"No time, dude. Get in!" said Luna. They get Jordan's bike into the van and then Jordan hops in and they all ride off to sort out what the heck is going on. They drive off at great speed, and they even drive by the Sharp house.

Right now, inside the Sharp House, everythin seems normal, but Sam Sharp walks by her brother's room, but she stops and walks backwards and she spots her brother, Simon is cleaning his own bedroom, which is something she rarely sees from her little brother. "Simon, what the heck are you doing?"

"Can't talk, sis. Busy!" Simon just goes around and he keeps using the vacuum to clean the floor.

Sam notices this and she is impressed. "Whoa, bro! This place looks like it's a whole new house. This is impressive work and mom and dad would be dang proud."

"Thanks, Sam." Simon then begins to vacuum his bed, and this has Sam confused,

"Bro, Simon…. This is something cool and all, but what gives and what's the occasion? Because I rarely see you ever do any cleaning around here. Especially when it comes to your own bedroom, what's the deal bro?"

"Can this wait?!" Simon then begins to dust the shelves for anything.

Sam crosses her arms and she leans onto the doorway. "Sorry bro, but like Luna, I wanna know what's been bugging you. I recall you acting up when she's around, and now this is….

Simon is now annoyed and he answers as he keeps cleaning. "I am having a friend over." He then checks under his bed for anything dirty.

Sam is surprised and she did not see this coming. "Oh, oh wow. So, who the heck are we expecting? Liam? Clyde? Tabby? Lincoln? Anyone I have heard of from Lincoln and Jordan's pals and gals? This a gaming thing?"

Simon blushes red and he shakes it off and goes back to cleaning, but Sam can tell where this is going and who it is. So, she goes over and she hugs her brother and kisses his forehead. "Alright, Simon. I'll let you and Stella have some alone time. So, I won't be making any loud music or bugging you."

Simon smiles hearing this and he returns the hug to his big sister. "Thanks Sam."

As Sam leaves the bedroom, Simon goes back to work in cleaning, but then a knock on the door is heard. "She's here! It's her, what do I do what the heck do I do?! I haven't even showered yet!"

Meanwhile, Sam is headed down the stairs and she goes over and she answers the door. She opens it and smiles at who it is. She then calls out. "Simon, calm down. Not Stella, just a package I ordered."

Simon sighs in relief and feels like his heart is pounding too fast. "Good lord, thank goodness. Too close and too much to handle. Well, I am gonna hit the showers."

Sam overhears this and so she calls out as she has her package in hand. "You do that bro, and don't forget to get behind your ears!"

Simon chuckles. "Sure thing, mom." The Sharp siblings have a small laugh from that and they proceed with what they were doing.

(Many minutes later.)

Sam soon heads down from the stairs and she heads for the kitchen, but then she hears a knock on the door and so she goes over and she answers it. She sees who it is and smiles. "Hey there, Stella. Glad you could make it, my little bro Simon is in his room. Come on in."

"Thanks, also nice place." Stella walks in and she looks around "So, is Simon doing anything important?"

Sam chuckles. "Well, he went full onslaught trying to clean his room for you to come and not see it messed up. I have never seen him clean his room like that, it's a first time for me."

Stella chuckles. "Did he now? Well, I'd like to see how it looks."

Sam smirks. "Well, upstairs to the right, near the bathroom." Sam then heads to the bathroom, while Stella heads up the stairs. But as Stella is headed up the stairs, the same time Simon is out of the bathroom and he sighs in relief that he is now clean.

He then closes the bathroom door, and when he turns around that's when he and Stella lock eyes and both turn red at what's going on. They both look away and Stella blushes. "I-I didn't know…. I am so sorry Simon."

Simon then speaks otherwise. "No, no… This is all on me, I think. Plus I didn't expect you to be here, so soon. That or maybe I was in the shower for too long."

The duo remain silent, but someone comes up the stairs and that someone is Sam, and she has a chocolate pudding cup and a soda. "Hey, Stella. What are you doing in the halls? I thought that…" She then sees what the issue is. "Oh, oh boy." So, Sam backs away to her room. "Well, this is awkward."

Stella then speaks. "Well, I should ummm… I'm gonna be in the living room."

Simon nods and it still blushing. "Y-Yeah, I need to change… I'll call you when I'm done." He then heads to his bedroom, while Stella heads down stairs and both are embarrassed at what happened.

"That was so awkward! I did not need to see what we just did, oh why?!'

(Later.)

Simon soon comes out of his room and he heads down the stairs and he is wearing some clothing, Stella notices this and she smiles. "Well, you look decent."

Simon chuckles nervously. "Y-Yeah, I am. So, you wanna hang out in my room?"

Stella nods. "Sure, let's go." The duo head back up the stairs and they walk side-by-side to the bedroom of Simon Sharp, and both have the same thoughts in their heads.

'This is so awkward right now, and I think I like it.'

They enter the room and Stella sees the size of his room. "Huh, this seems as big as the bedroom that Lincoln and Luna share, and a bit more spacious then the tree house."

Simon nods. "Yeah, my room is big and so is Sam's. But our parents is way bigger than this."

Stella does go around and she notices everything in the room doesn't seem messy or dirty. "Well, Sam sure was right about one thing, this room is cleaned up good, nice work Simon Sharp.

Simon is surprised to hear this. "Wait, what? What else did she tell you?"

"Well, that was about it. She just told me that you were cleaning your room, and for me so we could hang out. She also told me that you seemed really excited, serious and nervous doing the whole cleaning, and all on your own too" replied Stella.

Simon chuckles. "Yeah, of course she'd give you the details." He then goes to his Xbox and si he turns it on and he hands Stella one of the controllers. "What game do you wanna play, Stella?"

Stella chuckles. "You pick the game, Sharp. Because no matter what we play, I am so gonna beat you."

Simon is now showing a competitive face. "Oh, we shall see Zhau."

Stella shows the same face as he does. "Oh heck, you will. I have beaten Lincoln, Jordan, Zach, Liam, Rusty, Clyde, Artie, Lance and Tent, and the Simon I knew from yesterday."

Simon then places the game of Mortal Kombat 11. "That Simon from the other day is the past, this is the Simon Sharp now and I know that I am gonna win and beat you, Stella."

"Then bring it on Simon Sharp!" Stella and Simon soon begin to play like they're at war.

(Two hours and thirty minutes of video games later.)

Soon, the dup put their controllers away and they take a break. "Dang, I guess we're tied" said Stella.

Simon nods. "We're tied in Mortal Kombat X, Mortal Kombat 11, Street Fighter, Tekken, Mario Kart, Obliteracers and Animal Kaiser. We're tied on each game, ten of ten, and no winner."

Stella chuckles. "So, when we're in the arcade, you're not doing good, but here…."

Simon smirks. "I am a pro at my own stuff, but you're as pro as I am no matter where we are." The duo chuckle hearing this from each other, but then they hear their stomach's rumbling and this makes them both blush.

"Well, I guess our stomachs are both thinking of the same thing, time for some lunch" said Stella.

Simon nods. "Yeah, I guess it is." He then gets off of the bean bag chair. "Stay here, let me go downstairs and get us something we can eat."

Stella then gets up. "No, no. Simon, I don't want you to strain yourself over that, I can…."

Simon shakes his head in denial. "No, Stella you are my guest. Let me do this for you, I am gonna get us something to eat, you wait here." He then heads out of the room.

While he's gone, Stella looks around Simon's room and she looks at everything he has, she does see some comic books, but they aren't Ace Savvy or Muscle Fish, they were from either DV or MARVEL comics, and they seem different from what Lincoln has.

'Wow, Simon seems way more advanced than Lincoln, and he seems to show a whole lot of it through his own comic books and stuff. Dang, that is a whole lot of stuff. I don't think Lincoln has some of this either.'

Stella is surprised that Simon has the wallpapers Lincoln has, and then she sees something else, something from under his bed and it looked like the edge of a trash bag. 'Well, it would be rude to just go through his stuff, but I am curious.'

Stella checks out his stuff, and what she sees is the trash bag with things and it has been labeled. 'To Burn' Stella is confused by this, and she doesn't know why it's been called this way. She then puts it back, but then she looks inside when she notices something and what she sees shocks her. "No…"

There are a lot of inappropriate stuff, and it all seems to be incorporated with Lincoln's older sister, Luna Loud and this has her concerned over Simon and also puts her thoughts to recall his obsession, but then she looks to the name again. 'He's trying to get over it, he's trying to change.'

Stella then hears some footsteps and so she places the trash bag back under the bed, and walking into the room is Simon and he has a plate of chocolate chip cookies and some milk. He then sees Stella is going through his book of the Hobbit.

Stella then notices Simon. "Hey, Simon. I got bored and so I thought about reading this, I didn't think you were into this stuff."

Simon then recalls. "That is not mine, I think my dad forgot it was here the whole time and so it got stuck. Also, I got us something to eat, and glad Sam is baking downstairs, and I think she's doing it for us since we're hanging out."

"Awesome!" Stella and Simon then enjoy the food they were given.

But as they eat, Simon notices the bag sticking out and he asks. "You saw the bag, didn't you?"

Stella is surprised he said that, and she can see the concern on his face and so she speaks. "Yeah, I did. Sorry, Simon…. I didn't mean to…"

"Don't be" said Simon, he then stops eating. Now you know just how sick and demented my obsession over Luna is, I am a sick and twisted kind of person."

Stella feels bad for him, and so she scooches closer to the boy. "Simon, what I have seen in the bag was horrible and just downright wrong, and I don't think I can ever unsee what you were trying to do, and a lot of folks these days become sick and twisted stalkers or worse."

Simon feels like crying, he was fearing for those actions if he continues his sick obsession over Luna Loud.

Stella then continues. "But, I am proud that you're changing from the past, Simon. You wanna get rid of the wrong obsession and make sure it remains gone for good. You managed to overpower your obsession and show strength within you that you can become someone better, someone who would have a bright and not so horrid future, and I'm proud of you, Simon Sharp."

Simon is surprised she would say that, and so he has some tears in his eyes and he goes over and embraces her. Stella is surprised by this, but she smiles and she too returns the hug. The duo stay in this embrace, but they also can smell the cologne the other is using.

Simon. 'Dang, she smells of lavender and lilacs, it smells heavenly.'

Stella. 'Wow. He kinda smells like apples, carrots and sweet corn.'

The duo then depart from the hug, they blush and look away nervously. They don't even know that they're hands are still holding, and then Stella asks. "So, when are you gonna tell Luna, Lincoln and Sam?"

That is something Simon feels like he cannot be able to respond. "I… I don't really know, I haven't even thought of getting to that part. I was thinking, that when I do tell them… I would also show them the bag, and ask if they wanna help me burn it. But, I don't even know how I can make the approach, I feel nervous and…"

"Then let me be there with you to tell them, tomorrow." Simon looks to Stella, and she has a comforting face. "The idea of letting them come along and burn the bag of your past is a good idea. This will be hard to explain, but with someone there to back you up, then it won't be too hard to explain. How about it, Simon Sharp?"

Simon smiles, and he nods. "Yeah, alright Stella. Tomorrow, and thank you."

Stella nods. "No problem, Simon." they then continue to look into each other, but then they stop and look away and seem nervous, and yet it feels so right to just stare into each other's eyes. Like it was meant to be.

(Later in the day.)

Simon and Stella are both sitting by the swing porch outside of the Sharp House. They watch as the sun setting in the horizon and then Stella speaks. "This feels nice, right Simon?"

Simon nods. "Yeah, it does feel nice. To be honest, I haven't enjoyed a good time outside in a long time, it feels like good time from long ago are coming back, and makes me feel like I should spend less time in my bedroom."

Stella chuckles. "Then you really need to get out more."

Simon also smirks. "Yeah, I should."

Stella then has this weird feeling, but she does what she does and she leans her head onto the shoulder of Simon Sharp, and Simon feels tense from this but he calms down and he wraps his arm around her shoulder and pulls her close.

Stella notices this and she smiles, and then she speaks. "So, how long have you had this crush over me?"

Simon's eyes are surprised. "W-What?"

Stella giggles and she speaks. "I can tell, Simon Sharp, and I also have a crush on you."

Simon looks to Stella and is ponce again surprised. "Y-You have a crush on m-me?"

Stella nods. "Yeah, and it all started at the Winter Carnival." She can see that the blush from Simon is gone and he smiles, and so does Stella. They then return back to watching the sunset.

Simon's thoughts are no longer clouded with what he thought about Luna, and he has this new warm feeling. "Yeah, I guess my crush over you started at that time as well." They both continue to be in this moment and enjoy this outdoor time.

But they are both unaware of someone watching them, and that someone is Sam Sharp and she takes a photo of this cute moment. 'That's so adorable! Way to go Simon, looks like you found the gal of your dreams, bro.'
