"No! I'm not going to do it anymore. I quit, finish, done, gone, walking away, no turning back, DID I MENTION DONE! I don't care what you say SIR I have had enough of this." Jack lets a little laugh escape him.
"Carter."
"No don't Carter me I am done!" Sam throws her hands up in the air.
"Sam." Sam glares at Jack.
"WHAT!" Jack takes a step forward towards Sam.
"I told you I would help."
"But I am supposed to do this." Sam waves her hand over the mess in front of them.
"You don't have to do it by yourself, it's a new age. If we were doing this when I met you I would be doing half the work, if not more, because of the 'stereotype'."
"I am not the same person I was all those years ago."
"I know, just let me help. Remember you wouldn't have that many if it weren't for me."
"Yeah more than half of this is your fault!"
"Ouch you know that hurts."
"I just want it to be over with Jack." Jack steps all the way forward and welcomes Sam into his arms.
"Sam, they're thank you notes, you don't have to do them in one day either. Hell, we haven't even been back from the honeymoon for a day and you are already tired of doing them. Let me help and we can do them over a couple of days…or weeks."
"I just want to get all the wedding stuff out of the way so that we can start our life together."
"Sam we have already started our life together and you stressing about thank you notes doesn't make it a happy place. Just let me help. We can make a game out of it."
"How can you make a game out of this Jack?"
"I don't know there are lots of presents, I am sure I can think of something, just let me help."
"…Ok, but if you start complaining like you do with your reports your out of here."
"Deal."
AN: I swear my other story is still in works. It's having to be reworked a lot more than I thought (major face lift I swear). This hit me as I was finally putting away the rest of my wedding things. Short and Sweet and I swear it did not take away time from the other story (another story has taken away from the finishing Some Enchanting Evening…oops:-/ more on that when it's 'SEE' is done).
