A few days after Alisa's announcement brawler's from all over the world had begun their training for the UBT, at that time Julie the only battler brawler without a guardian Bakugan was making good progress, however, her own sister Daisy was rising through the ranks and was now rank 13 which made Julie jealous at how good Daisy was getting. But Julie wouldn't let it get her down for long, at this moment she was in a desert surround by rock formations along with fissures in the ground as the wind blew tumbleweeds along, Julie was staring down a boy her age, The boy had long blonde hair that reached the base of his neck, he was wearing a t-shirt and an orange and black jacket along with it that has a lightning bolt on the back and also had black fingerless gloves. He was her childhood friend Billy.
"Hey Julie, I'm going to clean the floor with you today and you know why?" Billy asked with a smug smile. "Because me and my Bakugan are a precision team, and we're only a few ranks behind Daisy in the top 20 ranked Bakugan players, Yeah!" He then threw his arm to the sky.
"Wow, cool! Is that really true Billy?" Julie asked, surprised Billy was able to catch up with Daisy in a short time.
"You bet your Bakupod." Billy answered before he looked at his partner in his hand. "Am I right, Cycloid?" Billy asked his partner Bakugan.
Cycloid opened up in Billy's hand. "Oh yeah, you said it. Together, you and me are unstoppable," Cycloid said. "So you might as well run home to your momma." Cycloid taunted Julie.
"What, how dare you, I'm not going anywhere!" Julie countered in anger. "I can't believe you got a talking Bakugan where did you find him?"
"That's right, we're a perfect match." Billy smiled, winking at Julie. "I hate to say it, but you're toast Julie."
Julie blushed in anger. "That's it! Let's Brawl!"
Both Battlers took out their field cards. "Field Open!" time began to slow down as a tumbleweed stopped rolling.
Both players found themselves in a whole new field; this one looked like an arena that was square. It was black with red trim along with four platforms which they could guess were for players, and it had the symbols for all the attributes in the center.
"Woah, so this is the new field?" Julie said in amazement.
Billy smirked as he tilted his hat. "Not bad, this the perfect stage for me to beat you bakubabe."
Julie stomped around and flailed her arms in anger. "What did you call me?"
"Gate Card Set!" Both yelled as they threw their gate cards down.

"Lady's first! Bakugan Brawl!" Julie exclaimed as she threw a Subterra Bakugan down on Billy's Gate Card. "Rattleoid Stand!"
In a flash of light, a rattlesnake-like Bakugan appeared, hissing, its rattle separated into three joints
"Try that on for size," Julie said.
"Pretty impressive," Billy said before he took a stance as if he was going for a pitch. " Bakugan Brawl!" He threw his Bakugan onto the Gate Card with Rattleoid. "Hynoid Stand!"
Appearing before Rattleoid was a hyena-like Bakugan.
[Hynoid 310gs] [Rattleoid 300gs]
"Do it," Billy commanded as Hynoid ran at the rattlesnake-like Bakugan.
However, Julie quickly retaliated. "Ability Activate! Poison Fang!"
[Hynoid 310-50=260gs] [Rattleoid 300+50=350gs]

Billy looked at his Bakugan in shock. "No wait!" he called out.
Rattleoid quickly bit down on Hynoid before it could react, before letting go sending the Hyena-like Bakugan flying backwards towards Billy as it landed on its underbelly.
"Sorry, I know we've been friends a long time Billy, I need to teach you a lesson," Julie smirked with her finger near her face.
"Ha! That was just a warm-up." Billy countered. "Gate Card Open Now!"
The gate card than open, revealing that it was Hynoid's character card

Hynoid howled as it was enveloped by orange energy before it began to snarl at it's opponent.
"Friend or no friend," Billy said. "You're going down."

"This doesn't look too good," Julie exclaimed in shock.
"Go Hynoid, take em out," Billy shouted as Hynoid ran at Rattleoid and lunged at the rattlesnake, biting him at the throat, before he leaped off of Rattleoid's underbelly using all for limbs as the Rattlesnake-like Bakugan then returned to ball form and landed behind Julie who looked at her defeated Bakugan in stunned silence, before Hynoid himself with Billy catching him.

"Ha, you showed me, nice one." Billy mocked while smirking.
"Ugh! That was only my warm-up, smart guy." Julie grunted. "Bakugan Brawl!" She tossed her Bakugan onto her Gate Card. "Tuskor Stand
Appearing in a flash of light was an armored elephant-like Bakugan who raised on its hind legs before stomping on the ground with its front legs with tremendous force.

"Heh," Billy smirked, tilting his hat thinking this was an easy win. "Bakugan Brawl!" He threw his Bakugan onto Julie's gate card. "Hynoid stand!"
Appearing before Tuskor was Hynoid.
Suddenly the Gate Card opened which the field including the arena was replaced with a savanna-like field with dry grass, sand, and trees.
"And now, Ability Card Activate! Whirlwind!" Billy exclaimed.
The wind began to pick up around the battlefield as Hyoid was suddenly engulfed by a mini sandstorm before he vanished from Tuskor's sight, but then the elephant-like Bakugan was then surrounded by a brown blur which was Hynoid running at incredible speeds.

"Check that out, your Tuskor doesn't even know which way to turn," Billy said.
Tuskor looked around at the ring, he tried to smash Hynoid with its trunk, but the Hyena-like Bakugan narrowly dodged it. Tuskor tried again several times alternating from it's feet and it's trunk before it trumpeted in frustration.
However, Julie grinned and chuckled, suddenly Hynoid's power was beginning to drop, forcing it to slow down.
"What the hell is gone on?" Billy demanded in shock as he looked at his Bakupod which showed Hynoid was blinking purple as well as losing 10gs every second.

"Hynoid, what's the matter?" Billy asked, wondering what was wrong."What's going on."

Hynoid began to slow down until he stopped in front of Billy and Tuskor his tongue hanging out
"No way," Billy said in shock.
"It'll continue to decrease the more he keeps battling," Julie explained.

"Now Tuskor." Julie shouted
Tuskor trumpeted before standing on his back legs as both Billy and Hynoid's eyes widened as the Elephant-like stomped down in full force crushing Hynoid, sending him flying behind Billy who was distraught at the loss.
"Damn it," Billy muttered under his breath.

Julie smirked as she caught Tuskor, she knew she had to keep the momentum going. "Ha! Now Gate Card Set!" She then tossed her Gate Card out. "Bakugan Brawl!"
Tuskor appeared on the field once more ready to battle.
"This is it," Billy said before looking at Cycloid in his hand. "I'm depending on you, Cycloid."
"No problemo coach just put me in," Cycloid replied.
Billy nodded before slowly taking a stance like a baseball player going for a fastball. "Bakugan Brawl!" Billy yelled before throwing Cycloid while his hat fell off, however instead of landing on the Gate Card Cylcoid's ball form hit Tuskor in the head causing the Elephant-like monster to trumpet in pain as he skeeted back a few inches, shocking Julie before landing on the gate card itself.
Appearing in a flash of light before Tuskor was a cyclops-like Bakugan wielding a large hammer made of stone.

Julie looked at her Bakupod in shock and confusion. "Hold on, what's a Sphere Attack?"
Billy, who put his hat back on and smirked at her. "Sphere Attack is one of the new rules that Alisa added. Thanks to it, a battler can throw their Bakugan at the opponents Bakugan lowering it G-power, however, the damage depends on the Bakugan's Defense."
Julie frowned; she hadn't heard of this rule before, but that wouldn't stop her. "That's not going to stop me! Gate Card open! Triple Battle!"
Suddenly the Gate Card began to glow, which Cycloid wasn't worried about in the slightest. "Triple Battle Allows a battle to start when a third bakugan is on the Gate Card."
"Alright no more Mr nice guy, Ability Activate! Left Giganti!" Billy exclaimed.
Cycloid began to glow orange as his left hand grew large. "Ahhh!" Cycloid yelled as he smashed his palm onto the Gate Card, causing cracks to appear.
"Oh no! My Gate Card!" Julie exclaimed in shock.
The Gate Card then shattered leaving only sparking light in its wake.
"Give him a love tap, Cycloid!" Billy said.
"Booya!" Cycloid yelled before smashing his palm onto Tuskor who was then sent flying past Julie who gasped dumbfounded that Cycloid has easily defeated her Bakugan before Cycloid returned to Billy who both caught the Subterra Bakugan and smiled.

"That's how you brawl Bakubabe." Billy smirked.
"You better go home, I think I hear your momma calling." Cycloid taunted.
"I'm not going anywhere" Julie countered in frustration. "Gate Card Set!" She threw down a Gate Card.
"I'll show you, Bakugan Brawl." Julie shouted as she threw her last Bakugan on her newly set gate card. "Manion Stand!"
Appearing in a flash of light was a sphinx/manticore hybrid-like Bakugan screeching like an eagle ready to do battle appearing to look like a sphinx with it had giant wings like that of an eagle the body of a lion and the head of an Egyptian woman both of its front paws has orange and yellow wrist guards along with shoulder pads and wrist pads.
{Manion enters battle at 300gs}
Julie wasted no time as she pulled out an ability. "Ability Card activate!" Julie exclaimed. "Earth Power!"
The ground began to glow orange as Manion screeched.

"Oh, scary." Billy mocked as he slowly got into his stance again, he knew he could simply take her out with Cycloid's Left Giganti ability alone without the use of a sphere attack, but he decided to add a bit of insult to injury and go for a sphere attack, he then threw Cycloid again which made his flying off his head, and unlike last time Cycloid curved at the end like a baseball in which he hit Manion on the side of her face causing the Sphinx Bakugan loss her balance for a second from the force of impact before Cycloid landed on the gate card and he appeared before Manion ready to finish the battle.
"Oh no not again!" Julie exclaimed in fear her Manion had taken a Sphere Attack.

"I'm back and I'm feeling nasty," Cycloid said.
Julie didn't back down despite the Sphere Attack. "Gate Card Open Character!"
The Gate Opened Revealing Manion's Character Card.

"So what do you got for me?" Cycloid asked Billy.
"This," Billy answered. "Ability Activate! Left Giganti!"
"Oh no, not this too." Julie gasped in fear.
Cycloid's body began to glow like before, and his left hand grew again.
"Ok, Cycloid do your thing!" Billy called out.
"Anyone need a hand?" Cycloid asked before he once again slammed his palm on the gate card, causing cracks to appear before the gate card completely shattered leaving only sparking light in its wake.

Cycloid wasn't finished yet, as he then slammed his palm down on Manion flattening her which sent her back to Julie who gasped in shock, right before Cycloid returned to Billy

"I can't believe it, he beat me," Julie said, lowering her head in shame.

In a wide computer room with dozens of workers typing on the computers, keeping track of all the battles happening in the world.
"Ms. Alisa, the Sphere Attack Method has been used again, yet another successful result." a female worker informed me.
Alisa crossed her arms and smirked, while Juri stood next to her. "Excellent, and the Gate Card and Dromes are working well together, time doesn't stop as a result of the Dromes, however, no one has utilized the Special Shots skill but sooner or later we'll witness it.'' She smirked that everything was going according to plan, she then looked at the time, she was to get ready, she and Alice had a full day scheduled and told her staff to continue monitoring before she left with Juri close behind.
Just then the two battlers were back in the real world as time started moving again.
"I lost," Julie said sadly.
Billy smirked. "Alright, we did it Cycloid you are the man."
"No, you the man," Cycloid replied.
Billy pointed Cycloid at Julie. "Did you see how the two of us worked together? The very moment deep within Bakugan valley I know it was meant to be."
"Bakugan Valley?" Julie questioned.
"You betcha, in a remote corner in the deepest cavern there he was just waiting for his destiny," Billy said remembering the encounter before he pointed at Julie. "And then we took you down."
"You were lucky, I don't need a perfect match anyway and next time I'll take you both down." Julie snapped in anger.
Billy just smirked. "Anytime bakubabe, anytime." he then turned his back to Julie before walking away.
Julie growled at him, before stomping on home.
(Julie's house)
Julie walked inside still frustrated from her loss to Billy, as she walked past her living room she was greeted by an older girl
Like Julie, she had white wavy hair and purple eyes. She was wearing a light blue collared shirt with a red bow and a scotch skirt. She also had a horse rider's outfit, she was Daisy, Julie's older sister. Daisy was good at everything she did, cooking, horseback riding, she even got trophies for her artwork. But Julie always looked up to her and Daisy was always there to support her.
"You ok Julie?" Daisy asked with concern.
Julie pouted. "Yeah, I'm fine."
Daisy smirked and knew what this was about. "Billy again?"
"Yeah, I lost to him again, but I'll beat him next time," Julie vowed, clenching her fists.
"I'm sure you will, just don't give up Julie, oh I something to show y-" Daisy was about to say when Julies Bakupad went off showing Runo was calling her.
"Sorry Daisy, maybe later my friends want to talk." Julie waved to her sister before running to her room.
"Your sister seems nice." a male voice said as a Subterra Bakugan appeared on Daisy's shoulder, which was a Subterra variation of Runo's Tigrerra.
"Yes, she is but at times she can be a little too flighty." Daisy admitted with a smirk. "I can't wait to introduce you to her, Desert Liger."
"Me either Lady Daisy." Liger replied.
Daisy smiled, she had met Liger not long ago on her horseback riding trip and the two had hit it off and were a tight team, now they were training up so they could enter the UBT.
(Julie's Room)
Julie had responded to the message from Runo earlier, Runo, Marucho, Dan, Judai, Eva and Alice were logged on, Marucho had asked Runo to contact them all so he could tell them more about his findings with the Dromes and the Fields along with what happened in Julie's battle involving Sphere Attacks, Julie didn't listen for she was still angry at losing to Billy today.
"You ok Julie?" Judai asked with concern getting her attention. "You've seemed pretty out of it."
"Ahh! It's my childhood friend Billy, he really gets on my nerves." Julie growled.
"Oh no, that's the real loudmouth guy isn't it?" Alice asked.
Julie sighed. "Yeah."
"That just stinks." Eva commented.
Julie growled. "Of course it does, Billy can be a real jerk, that makes me want to scream, and to top it off his Bakugan is just as bad."
"Oh really? What's this Bakugan's name?" Preyas asked.
"Uh, Cycloid." Julie answered.
"Interesting, Tigrerra, do you know this Cycloid?" Preyas asked.
"No, I don't know him," Tigrerra answered.
"Nillious, what about you?" Judai asked.
"I've known about a different species of Cycloid, not the one that we're talking about," Nillious admitted
"What about you Drago?" Dan asked.
"Yes, a rather big fellow if I recall," Drago said.
"I would like to throw down and see who's tougher huh Drago?" Dan asked. "We can show them what real team battles are like."
"Yes, sounds great." Drago agreed.
"I love the sound of that," Nillious said.
"I would show them who's tougher," Leonidas added.
"You don't know what you're missing out not having Bakugan to talk to Julie," Dan said.
"I'm sure you'll find a partner soon," Eva smirked.
"What? I don't need a talking Bakugan to make me feel good about myself, anyway I'll see you later bye." Julie said before turning off her computer, then sighed the truth as she wanted a talking Bakugan too but she was too stubborn to admit before she looked to her bookshelf and saw a cowboy toy on it, it was a gift given to her by Billy long ago when they were little.
Julie then remembers what Billy said. "I found him deep in the heart of Bakugan Valley." his voice echoed through Julie's mind. 'Bakugan Valley, I have a day off tomorrow. If I go there maybe I will find a Bakugan and show Billy who's boss and I might impress Judai too.'
(Judai's House)
After the video chat was over Judai and Eva decided to go out to battle, leaving Alice alone. At the moment Alice was reluctantly getting ready for her day out with her mother and it made her fear, the thought of being alone with her mother made Alice wonder if she was doing the right thing? Since she told her the truth, Alice had to give her this request. And since Judai and Eva were currently visiting Dan's House she could leave without them raising suspicion.
"Are you almost done Alice?" Hydranoid asked from the counter in a bored tone.
Alice just giggled, she hadn't told anyone about her new partner yet. She hadn't even taken him out for a battle yet, and she learned he could be a bit Impatient, but she didn't really want to see her mother at all out of fear. "I wish I wasn't ready Hydranoid, being alone with my mother is like having a death wish for me, and Wolf and Judai won't be able to help me."
"Like I said before, whatever you decide I'll follow." Hydranoid remind Alice.
Alice sighed before she grabbed Hydranoid and left the room. She made sure to feed Buster and Komodo before she locked the store up and left to where her mother said to meet her.

Alice had arrived at her mother's building, she gulped as she walked inside and up to the receptionist's desk. The receptionist's back was turned to her, but she had brown hair and was wearing a white suit.
"Um… excuse me, I'm here to see Alisa," Alice said nervously.
The receptionist turned around and Alice was shocked to see it was Dan's mother. "Oh, your Dan's friend Alice, I never got to meet you in person, my name is Miyoko, and Ms. Alisa is on her way down to see you already."
Alice reluctantly nodded but was still in shock. 'What's going on? Why is Dan's mom working for my mother? Did mother do something to her, I have to warn Dan later.' she knew nothing was right, her mother has some kind hold on Miyoko she could see it in the woman's eyes, her mother did something to her as in and that something is possible rape.
Suddenly the elevator opened as Alisa and Juri walked out, Alice shivered at the sight of her mother.
"Ali, I'm happy you were able to make it," Alisa smirked.
Alice frowned. "Hello, mother," she replied.
"Oh, I should be excited. I have the day planned out." Alisa smirked.
"Look, I'm only doing this because you told me the truth, so no groping, licking, touching or anything for the day got it?" Alice said in a demanding tone.
"Oh Alice, why must you be so mean to me?" Alisa pouted at her daughter.
"Geez, I wonder why?" Alice scoffed. "So where are we going?"
"I was thinking that the two of us could have a nice lovely dinner together." Alisa smiled. "I have made reservations at a fancy restaurant and afterward we could do a little shopping at the mall."
"Very well, but I'm watching you," Alice said, pointing at Alisa.
Alisa smirked. 'So stubborn, but that's ok you'll soon be mine Ali.' Alisa gestured for Juri to get the limo for them.
(Dan's house)
After a few battles in the park using the drome, Judai and Eva decided to visit Dan for the day, they mostly spoke about Masquerade and Alisa, including the UBT.
"Masquerade is really getting on my nerves, he's sending Bakugan to doom dimension," Dan said angry as he looked at the rankings which showed Masquerade was now Ranked 1, and Shun the last Battle Brawler has now dropped down to Rank 6.
"You're right, but not just him, Marduk is also sending Bakugan to the Doom Dimension too," Judai said, crossing his arms.
"They are a threat to both humans and Bakugan alike, they need to be stopped," Drago said.
"Agreed, but it's much easier said than done," Nillious stated.
"It doesn't matter how strong they are, I'll crush 'em," Leonidas growled.
"How about we talk about something else?" Eva suggested thinking they were stressing themself with the talk about Masquerade and Marduk.
Dan nodded before turning to Judai. "So how's Alice doing? Has she talked to Wolf yet?" ever since she came back from Russia, Alice had been a little distant from most of them; they only saw her at Judai's and on the chat.
Judai shook his head. "No, Alice needs more time, Wolf, her grandfather and aunt did lie most of her life, so she'll need time before she'll talk to them."
"I wonder what Alice is doing right now?" Eva asked herself.
(Restaurant La Lovette's)
La Lovette's was a fancy restaurant that opened up 2 years ago, Alice had heard about it from Runo in a rant about it taking some customers away from her parent's restaurant. But she never believed she would eat at it, but she remembered her mother was with her so she had to be careful. La Lovette's had a green rug along with white painted walls, tables with white table sheets with neatly placed silverware on top of it, at the moment Alice and Alisa were sitting at one such table, while Juri was waiting outside in the limo since this was 'mother-daughter bonding'.
Alisa smirked at Alice who just frowned, Alisa sighed. "You should be happy, I go through all the trouble to arrange a good dinner, and you give me that sour look."
On their Table was some high-quality wine, Salmon Caviar, mashed potatoes and gravy, Foie gras, Caesar Salad, and French Onion Soup.
"You think I forgot? No, you did take advantage of me when I was little." Alice whispered so no one could hear her. "And not only that, you hit me every time I mentioned Wolf, Grandfather, or Aunt Anna."
Alisa smirked as she waved her hand with the wine glass causing the wine to sway. "Ali, let's just enjoy our dinner shall we?"
Alice just nodded as she continued to eat, not taking her eyes off her mother, Alisa just smirked as if nothing was wrong, both mother and daughter continued to eat without much words between them.
(Park)
Judai, Dan and Eva left his house not long ago to do some battling, they even bumped into Runo not long after. Currently, they are relaxing. Eva and Runo sat on a bench while Dan and Judai stood up.
"My ranking went up again, I'm in 20th place," Eva smirked looking at her bakupod.
Judai sniggered, gaining Eva's attention. "Look again, maid."
Eva looked at her bakupod and gasped, somehow Judai was now ranked 15. "No way! How did your rank go up so fast?"
"I'm just better," Judai smirked, making Eva growl at him.
"Man, I'm in the 90s." Dan frowned looking at his Bakupod showing his rank was 95 at the moment.
Runo looked at her rank which was currently 99. "Looks like I'm catching up with Dan."
"Oh really? I didn't notice." Dan said sarcastically.
Runo growled. "What did you say?!"
Judai looked at the time. "Sorry guys, we have to head home now, can't leave Buster and Alice alone for too long."
Dan and Runo nodded. "Alright, we'll see you later. Tell Alice we say hi ok?"
Judai and Eva nodded before they left for home.
(Mall)
Alice and Alisa had entered the mall for a day of shopping, their first stop was a jewelry store. Inside were lots of designer jewelry ranging from diamond rings to emerald necklaces. Alice looked at the jewelry like a kid in a candy store.
"Like what you see Alice?" Alisa asked with a smirk.
Alice was snapped out of trance and blushed, she couldn't believe she let her mother see her like that. "I don't know what to choose."
"Then let me help, I happen to be an expert on jewelry," Alisa said as she asked for them to see a necklace.
A minute later a male employee walked out with an emerald necklace that was rectangle-shaped, it was also attached to a golden chain. "Is this what you would like Ma'am?" he asked.
"Hmm, what do you think Ali?" Alisa asked.
Alice looked at the necklace before she looked away. "We'll take it." she said reluctantly.
Alisa smirked as she paid for the necklace, she even paid for a few jewels for herself. And with that the mother-daughter duo left for a clothes shop Alisa recommended for Alice to get a few new dresses, and to Alice that was a red flag, it was probably just a ploy for her mother to see her body so she was prepared to run.
"I want you to keep your distance, if I change clothes, got it?" Alice stated.
"Hmph, you really need to lighten up. I wonder what your boyfriend would think if he saw you being rude." Alisa said with a smirk.
Alice blushed and glared. "Judai isn't my boyfriend, so just drop it!"
Alisa smirked. "I said the same thing when I first met your father."
Alice grumbled. 'Calm down Alice, don't let her get to you. Just get through this, and you can head home.'
(Judai's house)
After saying their farewells to Dan and Runo, Judai and Eva arrived home.
"Home sweet home," Judai said as he unlocked the door before he and Eva walked in. "Alice we're home!"
There was however no answer, but Buster did walk up to Judai who Judai petted affectionately. "Hmm, wonder where Alice could be?" Judai asked.
Eva crossed her arms. "Maybe she went out for a bit?"
Buster barked before Howlkor floated out of his collar. "Me and Buster overheard her say she was going for a day out with her mother."
Judai and Eva gasped in shock, that had to be wrong Alice would never go see Alisa. "Are you sure Howlkor?" Judai asked with a straight face.
Howlkor nodded. "That's what we heard, but here's the real shocker. It sounded like there was someone else in her room."
"Someone else?" Eva questioned.
"Yes, and she came out of the room alone," Howlkor informed.
Judai scowled. 'Alice… what are doing, and who was this 'person' in your room.' he hoped Alice would be ok, leaving her alone with Alisa especially after finding out the truth was bad.
(Mall)
Alice was currently in a changing booth stripped down to her light green bra and panties looking over a few dresses, bikinis, and bathing suits her mother chose, one of the dresses was a white summer dress, with a purple floral pattern, the second was a light green dress with matching elbow-length gloves, another was a long purple dress with a medium V neck with a frill. One of the bikinis was a black laced bikini, another was a dark green one-piece bathing suit with the sides cut outgoing from the armpits to just about the hips the last one was a pink two-piece frilly bikini the top was held by straps, the bottom had a frilly skirt. She continued to look over her shoulders to make sure her mother wasn't peeking over the door.
'I can barely put on clothes with her just outside.' Alice thought she was afraid her mother might just open that door and assault her.
"You're almost done? I want to see how pretty you look." Alisa called out.
Alice sighed. "I'm almost done?"
Alice eventually finished putting on the white summer dress before walking out of the changing booth for her mother to see.
Alisa smirked and clapped. "I knew it would look great on you, you have the body of a supermodel, my little Ali."
Alice frowned. 'Oh you would know.' she thought.
Alisa told her to put on another of her outfits, this time it was the light green dress with matching elbow-length gloves, Alisa even gave her matching high heels, Alice had to admit she did look good in the dress but the high heels made it hard to keep her balance.
"Oh my, you look so beautiful." Alisa cooed
Alice was about to say something, but thanks to the high heels she began to fall before Alisa caught her.
Alice looked up at Alisa who smirked. "Isn't it wrong to fall for your mother Ali?" Alisa quipped
Alice quickly stood on her own and stepped back. "I haven't fallen for you. It's just I'm not used to high heels."
"Ok, Alice try on one of the bikinis," Alisa smirked.
Alice sighed she just wanted to go home, before she walked back into the changing room and a minute later she hesitantly walked out wearing the black laced bikini, it hugged her body showing off her curves. Alice blushed in embarrassment. She was wearing a bikini in front of her mother, almost as if she wrapped herself up for her.
Alisa eked in excitement. "Of my god, you so good Ali! That Bikini really shows off your form perfectly."
Alice blushed an even darker red. "Please keep it down, people are listening."
Alisa giggled. "There's nothing wrong with showing off your figure Alice, no need to be shy."
Alice felt like she wanted to die. Her mother was going to be the death of her either by clothes or by a surprise assault on her body. 'I'll be happy once I'm done home'
Alisa told Alice to try on one more bikini. Alice sighed, hoping the fashion show would be over soon she walked back inside and walked out wearing the dark green one-piece bathing suit with the sides cut outgoing from the armpits to just about the hips
Alisa just smirked at seeing her daughter's appearance. "Have you ever thought of getting a career as an idol?" Alisa asked.
"No, and not if you're the one sponsoring me," Alice replied dryly.
"Oh, you would have been on every TV, magazine, and billboard in the world." Alisa pouted.
'Judai, I wish you were here to help but not see me like this.' Alice thought to herself.
(Judai's House)
After a few hours when the sun was beginning to set, the limo stopped in front of Judai's house. Alice got out of the car with four bags attached to both arms. A part of Alice hated the day but another part enjoyed it. It was like how she and her mother used to spend the days at times.
"Wasn't today fun Ali?" Alisa asked with a smile.
Alice didn't answer for a minute before she spoke. "It… was pleasant," she admitted.
"Good, well I'll see you later Ali." Alisa waved, shutting the door before driving away, leaving Alice alone.
Alisa smirked. "Juri, are we prepared for our little visit to Shun's house?"
"Yes, Ms. Alisa," Juri replied.
Alisa grinned. "Excellent," she said as they made their way back to AAAnimus.
Alice walked into the house, careful not to make a sound.
"So you back huh?" a voice said, making Alice jump, dropping most of her stuff on the ground, she turned to see Judai sitting on the couch in the living room.
"Had a great day out?" Judai asked while looking at the bags.
Alice looked away. "Yeah…"
Judai lowered his head. "I know you went out with your mother. I won't judge you. But I'm worried she might hurt you."
"It's fine," Alice said. "My mother didn't do anything to me."
Judai sighed in relief. "I'm happy she didn't. Also, Howlkor overheard you in your room. As if you were talking to someone."
Alice bit her lip. 'Buster must have been near my door before I left the house, he and Howlkor must have heard me talking to Hydranoid.'
"It was a pen pal of mine, Judai." Alice lied, she didn't understand but something deep inside her told her to lie, that Judai and the others couldn't learn about Hydranoid.
"Pen Pal?" Judai arched an eyebrow.
"Yeah, his name is Harvey Nelson, I haven't heard from him in a while," Alice said, before picking up her stuff. "It's been a long day Judai, I would like to relax in my room," she stated before leaving to her room while Judai knew something was wrong but chose to drop it for now.
(Bakugan Valley)
The next day Julie had gone to Bakugan valley to find a talking Bakugan partner, she climbed for a good few hours, she scaled the rocks, and was now moving sideways through the ravine.
'I've been wondering about for hours, and still nothing.' Julie thought in frustration as she began to climb the cliff. 'Like I said, I don't need a talking Bakugan to feel good about myself, but everyone else seems to have one so-'
Julie's thoughts were cut off as the rock she stepped on gave away, causing the young brawler to scream and tumble down the side of the cliff and until she slid into a cave, sliding on her knees. But before she could catch her breath bats took flight scaring her before she placed her hand on the ground which was crawling with scorpions, forcing Julie to her feet before she ran away with a bat chasing her.
"Ahh! Get me out of here! I don't need a talking Bakugan, if it means dealing with Icky caves, bats and bugs and other stuff!" Julie yelled as the bat continued to chase her.
(Julie's house)
Hours later. Julie was exhausted before she fell backwards onto her bed. She had spent all day in Bakugan Valley but she didn't find a bakugan at all.
"I wasted my entire day off and I have nothing to show for it." Julie sighed before she sat up. "Oh well, I'm happy just the way I am. I don't need a companion, I don't need any talking Bakugan." before remembering Dan and the others.

'I would like to throw down and see who's tougher huh Drago?' Dan said.
'Yes, sounds great."' Drago agreed.
'I love the sound of that.' Nillious said.
'I would show them who's tougher.' Leonidas added.

"But the truth is I want a Bakugan to talk to more than anything…" Julie admitted before she began to cry. "More than anything in the world."
"Julie... I'm here." a deep voice said, gaining the Subterra brawler's attention. "I'm here for you…"
Julie, who still had tears in her eyes, looked towards her bookshelf and saw a Subterra Bakugan right next to the cowboy toy. "For me?"
"Like you, I have longed for a companion to share my joys and sorrows, I despaired it would never come to be. But finally, a pure and sincere voice reached me, your voice." the Bakugan explained.
Julie rose to her feet. "I think I get it. Until now I wasn't being honest with myself. My voice wasn't pure and honest to be heard by you."
"Now that barrier that separated us is gone. I feel as if I've known you for ages, though we only just met." The Bakugan stated.
"Yes, it's like we're best friends already," Julie said with joy. "My name is Julie. What's yours?"
"My name is Subterra Gorem." the Bakugan now known as Gorem answered. "But you can call me Gorem."
"Oh!" Julie cooed before gabbing Gorem while she blushed. "Gorem, let's be friends forever, and ever and ever. Sounds good?"
Gorem turned red. "Sounds good."
Unknown to them both Daisy who had overheard their conversation smiled happily. Julie had finally spoken to Gorem, Daisy knew about him for a while but chose to not say anything until Julie finally admitted she wanted a partner, now a new bond was born and both her and Liger couldn't wait to battle them later.
"I'm happy she has a partner now," Daisy said.
"So am I for Gorem too, my lady," Liger added.
Daisy nodded in agreement before they left for Daisy's room.
(Canyon)
Julie was staring down Billy who was still as confident as ever, but Julie knew it this time was different she had Gorem at her side and she knew they would win.
"You're going down Billy." Julie declared.
"Are you going to teach me another lesson?" Billy mocked, as he held Cycloid in his left. "Of course, you're the one who never learns."
"Well today you'll find thing's a little different Billy Boy." Julie counted before showing him Gorem. "Cause I finally found my Bakupartner."
"Ohh good, you finally managed to find a talking Bakugan." Billy retorted. "Then it's time to battle."
"Alright, it's showtime! Drome up!" Julie called out as the drome rose up.
"Field Open!" Both battlers called out.
(Standard Field)
"Gate Card Set!" Both yelled as they threw their gate cards down.

"Okay Julie, time for the second Inning," Billy said as he took a stance as if he was going for a pitch. " Bakugan Brawl! He shouted as he threw his Bakugan onto his own Gate Card. "Hynoid Stand!"
Appearing in a flash of light was Hynoid

"My turn," Julie shouted as she threw down a new Gate card to the right of Billy's gate card.
Billy growled gritting his teeth while Hynoid glared at Julie.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Julie yelled as she threw a Bakugan onto the new gate card. "Tuskor Stand!"
Tuskor trumpeted ready for battle.
[Tuskor power level 350gs]
"Ability Activate! Nose Slap!" Julie exclaimed.
As soon as Julie activated the ability Tuskor trumpeted as his trunk began to extend to twice its original length. Tuskor trumpeted once again before he began to repeatedly slam his trunk down on Billy's gate card from Julie's gate card with Hynoid who was barely dodging each strike.
"With this, he can reach out and attack the Bakugan standing on the next card," Julie explained.
Hynoid was now cornered at the end of the card. "Alright, Tuskor take him out!" Julie shouted
Tuskor got on his hind legs and then slammed his trunk on Hynoid, which sent him flying behind Billy.

"Pretty good Julie." Billy said. "But not good enough," he stated before throwing in a new Gate card in front of Julie's second gate card.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Billy shouted as he threw his Bakugan onto his newly set Gate Card. "Wormquake Stand!"
In a flash of orange light, a Worm-like Bakugan rose up out of the gate card dragging sand up with it, before it submerged itself in the ground for a moment, before it emerged from the ground screeching. Wormquake quickly submerged underground, which shocked Julie that it appeared to be moving towards Tuskor from underground.

"Ability Activate! Stand Trap!" Billy called out.
Tuskor was then lowered into a sandpit, just as Wormquake resurfaced on Julie's gate card, towering over the Tuskor, Julie however wasn't worried.
"Come on, Tuskor's power level is 350gs. You won't beat him with a lame attack like that." Julie smirked, not scared in the slightest.
"Here's a little tidbit for ya, the cool thing about sand trap is that knocks down the opponent's power level by 50 gs," Billy explained
[Tuskor power level decrease 350gs-50=300gs]
Julie's eyes widened in shock."Now Wormquake is stronger?!"
Wormquake shot out of the ground before it swallowed Tuskor. Wormquake began to dive back underground, then he resurfaced and with one final dive, Tuskor returned to ball form as he landed behind Julie.

Julie looked at fallen Bakugan, she then held Gorem up to her forehead. "Please help me, Gorem. I think I'm in real trouble here, I need you."
"Don't worry, Julie. I'll do my best to help you," Gorem reassured Julie.
"Where's this new Bakugan you're so proud of?" Billy taunted, while Wormquake screeched as if he was taunting as well.
"Alright Gorem, show me your stuff! Bakugan Brawl!" Julie yelled as she threw Gorem on Billy's gate card. "Gorem Stand!" but to her shock, Gorem didn't assume his true form.
"Gorem?!" Julie gasped, Gorem began to glow orange before he floated back to Julie who caught him. "Oh no, Gorem is something the matter? Did I do something wrong?" Julie frantically asked her partner.
"The time isn't right." Gorem simply answered.
"Not right? What are you talking about?" Julie asked.
"Trust me," Gorem affirmed.
"Oh no! Then what on earth am I going to do." Julie said.
"Hahaha." Billy laughed, gaining her attention. "Looks like it's my turn, Gate Card set!" he shouted as he threw down his final gate card behind Julie's first gate card.
"Batter up." Billy said as he took his baseball stance. "Bakugan Brawl! Cycloid stand" he threw Cycloid onto his gate card.
"Rah!" Cycloid yelled as he stood tall.
{Cycloid's Power Level 370gs.}
Ability Card Activate! Stare Down!" Billy announced.
Cycloid's eye turned red before it fired a laser that began to trace around the gate cards forming a large rectangle.
"You're in for it now, with this ability my Bakugan can decrease the power of the opponent's Bakugan within the red border by 50gs," Billy explained.
"Then I'll add a card outside it, Gate Card set," Julie shouted as she threw down her final Gate card to the right of Billy's second Gate Card, thus outside the perimeter of Cycloid's Stared down ability.
"Bakugan Brawl! Julie shouted as she threw her Bakugan to her newly set gate card. "Manion stand!"
Appearing in a flash of light was Subterra Manion

"Ability Card Activate!" Julie announced. "Copycat!"
Wormquake shot out of the ground as a sandpit formed around him.
"Copycat? Then that means?" Billy uttered his mouth agape.
"That's right, Copycat allows me to copy an opponent's ability and use it against them, and I chose Sand Trap," Julie explained while smiling.

Wormquake struggled before it returned to ball form, right as Manion shot out of the ground, slashing its claws at Wormquake. Wormquake landed behind Billy who didn't even turn.

"Pretty good…." Billy said with a calm tone. "Now try this on for size! Ability Activate! Grand Slide!" he exclaimed as he punched the ground sending orange waves that shook the area. Julie almost lost her balance from the sudden tremors.
At the same time, the gate card that Manion was on started moving before it was inside the Stared Down perimeter as well as right next to the gate card that Cycloid was on.

"Oh no!" Julie screamed.
"Get ready! Cause this might hurt." Cycloid said as he swung his hammer at Manion who was knocked right out of the game.
"Oh no, Manion!" Julie yelled in fear as Manion landed behind her.

"Ok, I've waited long enough, time to meet this new Bakugan of yours," Billy smirked.
"I want a new playmate." Cycloid stated.
Julie was worried, she felt like she was trapped in a corner. She had Gorem left but she was terrified about sending him into battle. 'Oh, what should I do? Gorem said to trust him and wait.'
"Julie, I cannot stand to see you tormented like this," Gorem spoke, gaining his partner's attention.
"Gorem?" Julie uttered in confusion as she looked at her Bakugan partner in her hand.
"I told you, I wanted to share your joys and your sorrows," Gorem told her. "It is time."
"Are you sure, what if you lose?" Julie questioned.
"Trust me, Julie, I won't." Gorem retorted.
"Right Gorem," Julie said, holding him close to her left cheek. "I won't let you down."
"And I won't either," Gorem replied.
"Come on," Billy called out.
Julie bent slightly at the knees, her right hand on her right knee with her left thumb near her mouth. "Ok, here it goes, Bakugan… Brawl!" she started before raising both arms above her head, her right leg in front while her left was in the back before she gracefully shifted her body to the side her left leg high in the air while both her hands were position behind her head before threw Gorem at Cycloid which hit him in the head causing him to fall on his behind.

"That's not good," Billy stated, looking at his bakupod.
"Gorem stand!" Julie called out.
In a flash of orange light, a giant figure grunted as it rose above all, even taller than Cycloid. Its size shocked both humans and Cycloid, the Bakugan tall both arms out with seagulls flying around him.
"What is that?!" Billy said in both shock and fear.
"That's Gorem." Julie said in awe.
"He's gigantic!" Cycloid yelled, his one eye widened at the intimidating sight of Gorem.
Gorem was a gigantic stone golem-like Bakugan with a shield mounted on his arm. He then turned to Julie before lowering his hands to her offering her a ride.

"Oh Gorem, you're the best Bakugan a girl could ask for." Julie smiled as she jumped onto his hands as he lifted her up on his shoulder.
"I don't know, he doesn't look so tough. I'll have him saying uncle in no time" Cycloid commented.
"Well Cycloid, let's see if you can back that claim up." Julie countered as she readied her ability. "Ability Card Activate! Mega Impact!"
Gorem's eyes glowed for a second before his body began to glow with orange lights.
"What's going on?" Billy questioned
{Gorem's power level increases by 50gs, 380gs+50=430gs}
"430gs? And with the Sphere Attack from earlier, we can't afford to mess around Cycloid, we need to take this guy out fast" Billy told his partner.
"I hear ya man," Cycloid said.
"Gate Card Open! Level Down!" Billy called out. "The Level Down Command Card decreases the opponent's power by 100 gs
Gorem groaned he could feel his power starting to drain, from the effects of the Gate Card

"That's still not enough to beat Gorem." Julie pointed out.
Billy smirked. "I'm not finished yet, Ability Card Activate! Right Giganti!"
{Cycloid's Power Level 280gs+100=380gs}
"Alright Cycloid, here's your chance!" Billy called out.
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall!" Cycloid exclaimed as he rushed at Gorem, his hammer ready to strike.
"Gorem." Julie uttered.
"I'll be fine Julie, just watch," Gorem said.
"Ok, it's hammer time!" Cycloid shouted as he swung his hammer at Gorem who quickly defended with his shield, Cycloid continued to attack but to no avail.
"This is bad, that shield is too strong, and with each strike, Cycloid's power drops," Billy stated.
Cycloid stopped his assault, before stumbling back an inch, feeling fatigued.
{Cycloid's Power Level reduced to 280gs, 380gs-50-50=280gs}
"Ahh!" Cycloid yelled going in for a strong hammer swing, but as soon as the hammer connected with Gorem's shield to both Billy and Cycloid's shock the hammer was destroyed.
"What?!" Billy exclaimed in disbelief.
"This is it Gorem!" Julie exclaimed.
"Mega Impact!" Gorem yelled as he thrusted his fist forward and delivered a devastating blow to Cycloid sending the cyclops flying before he returned to his ball form and landed behind Billy who could only look at the floor.

"Gorem, you big beautiful Bakugan, you did it, you did it, you did it!" Julie cheered as she jumped up and down.
Gorem said nothing as he spread both of his arms out.
(Canyon)
Julie stopped cheering, as she watched Billy walk over to his partner. "Billy?"
Billy picked up Cycloid before turning to face Julie. "Nice job, Julie. You two battle well together,"
"Thank you, I think Gorem and I are a perfect match for each other." Julie smiled.
"Good job out there, Gorem," Cycloid said.
"You too Cycloid," Gorem replied.
Billy held up Cycloid. "Alright Cycloid, we need to start training. I think we're getting soft."
"And we can't have that now, can we? Got to keep in tip-top brawling shape." Cycloid affirmed.
"Yeah." Billy nodded. "See ya Julie," he said before he ran back home.
"See ya Billy," Julie smirked, happy she had won the brawl, she then left for home to tell her sister the news.
(Julie's House)
Daisy was currently relaxing on the couch watching one of her favorite soap operas with Liger who was also a fan of it.
"Earth's entertainment is really something my lady," Liger commented.
Daisy nodded, she had been teaching Liger about the earth and its cultures which the Subterra Bakugan found interesting.
"I wonder how Julie's doing?" Daisy asked herself.
Just then Julie walked through the door all happy and giddy, she saw Daisy and smirked. "Hey Daisy, guess what, I finally have a talking Bakugan."
Daisy smirked as she rose to her feet. "That's great to know Julie."
"Gorem, this is my sister Daisy." Julie introduced Gorem to Daisy.
"It's nice to meet you," Gorem said.
"You too Gorem." Daisy smiled back, even if she already knew Gorem even if it wasn't personally. "I would like you two to meet my partner."
"You have a partner?" Julie gasped in surprise.
"I would like you to meet Desert Liger." Daisy said as Liger floated onto her shoulder.
"Nice to meet you both," Liger said.
"Oh this is wonderful, now we both have a partner Bakugan," Julie said as she hugged her sister Daisy.
Daisy hugged back. "Yeah, we both do."
Julie pulled away from Daisy. "So Daisy want to have a battle?"
"Didn't you just finish a battle with Billy? You should rest for a bit." Daisy suggested.
"I know, but I want to see how good you and Liger are," Julie said with determination in her eyes.
Daisy smirked, she knew there was no stopping her little sister once her mind was set. "Alright, let's battle you ready Liger," she asked to take out her gate card.
"Whenever you are Lady Daisy," Liger said.
Julie smirked and took out her gate card. "You ready Gorem?"
"I'm ready Julie," Gorem replied.
"Field Open!" Daisy/Julie shouted.
As time stopped with both of them disappearing, a few seconds later both girls reappeared with Julie on her knees before she let out a frustrated groan, she was close to winning but Daisy proved to be much better than Billy.
"Oh man, this stinks," Julie complained.
"Don't be sad Julie, you and Gorem are great against us," Daisy said.
"Yes, I haven't battled like that since coming here," Liger stated.
"She's right Julie, it was a great battle," Gorem said.
Julie instantly got to her feet and smiled. "You're right, that's a great battle Daisy, but I'm not giving up."
"That's great to hear Julie if you ever want to battle come find me ok," Daisy said.
Julie nodded, she now has another goal and that was to beat Daisy, and with Gorem by her side, she would succeed.
(Julie's Room)
Night came fast, and Julie was telling everyone about her battle with Billy, as well her battle with Daisy.
"Hey everybody, I'd like to introduce you all to my new special friend Gorem," Julie said while holding Gorem up at the screen.
"Woah Julie you finally found a talking Bakugan," Dan said.
"You bet I did," Julie replied.
"Well that's great, I'm so happy for you." Marucho smiled.
"Congrats Jules, I'm happy you finally have a partner." Judai smiled.
"Aww thank you Judai," Julie said fondly.
"Hey mister Gorem, I'm so pleased to meet you. I'm Preyas, and this is Drago." Preyas introduced himself and Drago.
"Drag what?" Gorem questioned.
"Drago!" Drago corrected as the screen enlarged.
"My Bakugan's name is TIgs," Runo smirked.
"Tigs? You look like Liger." Gorem said.
"It's Tigrerra, and is there another Bakugan like me?" Tigrerra asked.
"Yes, he's my sister's Bakugan partner," Julie answered.
"Speaking of partners, these are my partners Nillious and Leonidas," Judai said.
"It's nice to meet you, Gorem." Nillious greeted.
"You too Nillious," Gorem replied.
"Hmph!" Leonidas uttered.
"Now that's just rude," Julie said.
"Sorry Julie, he's been opening up to other people, but he still has a temper problem," Judai said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head.
"He's always had that problem," Eva commented.
"Never mind him, it looks like you and Gorem are best friends," Alice said.
Julie smiled. "You bet, Gorem and I are the bestest friends in the whole wide world. Isn't that right Gorem?" She asked before she kissed him.
Gorem turned red and closed himself. "Not in front of people," Gorem said, making everyone laugh at the exchange, all unaware of what was taking place elsewhere.
(Shun's House)
At that time Alisa's private jet landed on the outside of Shun's family estate, both Alisa and Juri walked out of the jet.
"So this is Shun's place, not bad," Alisa smirked.
"We should be careful, mistress, this place is litter with traps as I heard," Juri said.
Alisa just waved her hand at Juri, dismissing her. "You stay here Juri, I'll handle this alone."
Juri simply bowed but hid her worry as Alisa walked up to the gate.
"I'm here to see Shun," Alisa smirked, just as the doors opened.
"No red carpet?" Alisa quipped as she entered the estate before the doors shut behind her.
Alisa didn't enter the mansion, she headed for the courtyard. It looked like something out of a fairy tale. As she kept walking until she felt the ground give way, Alisa front flipped over the trap hole and landed gracefully onto the deck, however, slots in the ground began which made her glare. Before wooden pools shot out of them, Alisa began to dodge and flip around them, before she had enough and backflipped onto the roof.
"Well, they certainly know how to make a lady feel welcomed," Alisa commented.
"I must admit you are quite skilled, but this is as far as you go intruder." an elderly voice called out.
Alisa turned to the source of the voice, she saw a short elderly man standing across from her wielding a wooden sword.
"I take it your Shun's grandfather Kazami, one of the great ninja masters from long ago?" Alisa questioned, not scared in the slightest.
"What business do you have here?" Kazami demanded.
"I only wish to talk to Shun." Alisa simply answered as Helios appeared on her shoulder.
Kazami noticed Helios. "This is about that ridiculous game, sadly Shun has no interest in it."
Alisa waved Kazami off. "Oh don't worry, I'm not here to talk about that, I'm here to offer my assistance concerning Shun's mother," Alisa explained.
Kazami arched an eyebrow. "What do you know about my daughter?"
Alisa smirked. "That's for me to discuss with Shun, not an old relic like you."
"It does concern me young lady, but no more of this leave now!" Kazami said as he leaped into the air, and swung his wooden sword at Alisa.
Alisa smirked as she caught the sword between her two fingers, shocking Kazami. "You know at your age, you shouldn't be doing this." Alisa let go and jumped back before throwing something at Kazami's feet before it exploded releasing smoke. Kazami began to cough as he suddenly felt sleepy, he realized she used sleeping gas but it was too late and he had fallen to the roof fast asleep.
"Finally, he was getting on my nerves," Helios stated
Alise smirked, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Yeah, but I didn't come here for a fight. You can come out now, I know you are there."
Suddenly Shun appeared from behind, he glared at Alisa who turned and smirked at him. "What do you want?"
"I came to offer my assistance, regarding your mother," Alisa smirked.
Shun's glare softened slightly, but he remained cautious wondering what Alisa the CEO AAAnimus had to offer pertaining to his mother, he then began to listen to her.
