Shun just glared while Alisa smirked, the former rank 1 brawler was cautious he had seen what she and her partner were capable of when he watched them battle.
"What do you want with my mother?" Shun demanded calmly.
"I'm here to offer a way to heal her, I've done some digging and found your mom is suffering from an illness, and I have the means to cure her," Alisa answered.
"Shun," Skyress uttered with uncertainty.
Shun didn't say anything but kept listening. "All I need is one thing, Defeat Dan Kuso or Judai Yamato, win or lose I will help your mother, she'll be transferred to my best medical center, you don't need to decide now, take your time," Alisa said before tossing Shun a cell phone which he caught with one hand. "Contact me, when you decide." before she jumped off the roof and slowly walked, while Shun just glared at her before looking at the cell phone in his hand with many thoughts racing through his mind.
The next day, Dan, Marucho, Runo, and Eva were at the dock and were just challenged by another battler sent by Masquerade.
"So you chicken?" the battler taunted placing a green launcher on his wrist.
"Another lackey sent by Masquerade?" Dan asked.
"This is getting annoying," Runo remarked.
"If he's so good, why doesn't he need to send these amateurs anyway?" Eva muttered.
"You know just for fun I'll show him who's boss," Runo said, stepping forward.
"No way, I call dibs on this creep!" Dan said rushing past the others
"Hey! No fair!" Runo exclaimed.
"Dan, wait!" Marucho yelled.
"Here we go again," Eva sighed
"Drome up," Dan shouted as the Drome rose up.
"Field Open!" Dan and the Battler shouted and they transported were to the Arena Field
(Battlefield Dimension)
Ventus Gargonoid roared as it repeatedly flapped its wings, causing the wind to intensify making Drago struggle a bit.
"Come on Drago, Defense," Dan said.
Suddenly a green tornado was formed around Gargonoid and was heading towards Drago.
"Must resist!" Drago said as he struggled against the winds from the cyclone.
"Drago, hold on!" Dan called before he was blown away.
(Real World)
Dan and the Battler returned with Dan standing tall.
"No fair Dan, your butting in, huh.." Runo cut herself off.
The battler hopped onto his boat. "You got lucky that's all, I'll be back you freaks!" before he sped away.
"Who are you calling freaks a-hole!" Eva yelled.
"So I'm guessing you beat him?" Runo asked
"Way to go, Dan, I had complete confidence you would win," Marucho smiled.
"Ahh, it was nothing, I had him on the ropes," Dan said in a slightly strained voice.
"Dan are you all.." Eva didn't get to finish as Dan collapsed.
"Dan no!" Marucho said as all three rushed to Dan's side.
"Is he ok?" Runo asked. "Dan, can you hear me?"
"He overexerted himself, we need to get him home so he can rest," Eva stated
(Dan's house)
After getting Dan home, the Pyrus battler was now in his bed with Runo at the foot of the bed, Marucho sitting on the side of the bed in Dan's roller chair, Eva had walked into the room with a glass of water.
"Man that was way up there on the freaky scale," Dan said wiping his hand over his forehead "I remember that I beat the dude but after that, it's a total blank."
Eva held the glass out. "Here,"
Dan took the glass. "Thanks, Eve," Dan said before taking a drink.
"It was so hilarious Dan, the way that wannabe brawler ran with his tail between his legs," Marucho said.
"Well, it is kinda, your own fault Mr. buttinski," Runo said with a sly smirk.
"I knew this would be a snooze fest!" Dan yelled. "I'm just lucky that Drago was tough enough to take that chump out when he did."
"Come on, no fighting you two," Eva said, not in the mood for another lover's spat.
"According to my data, they'll face much stronger opponents and might I suggest a strategy to reflect this in any future battles," Marucho advised.
"In English," Runo asked.
"He means that a Bakugan is at its peak when all 6 attributes are in perfect alignment." Eva clarified.
"That's right," Marucho confirmed.
"Dan's partner Bakugan is Drago whose attribute is Pyrus, its element is fire." Marucho started before pointing to Runo. "Your Tigrerra is Haos, a light elemental. And along with Eva's Bakugan that are also Haos."
"And Marucho's Bakugan partner Preyas which is classified as an Aquos attribute, a water element." Eva pointed out.
"But the problem is that combined we don't have enough attributes to fight at full power," Marucho said.
"Add in Julie's Bakugan which is Subterra the earth attribute, and Judai who uses Nillious, a Darkus Bakugan which represents the Darkness Element along with Eva as well we have 5 of the 6 attributes," Dan stated
"Also my brother's secondary partner Leonidas's default attribute is Pyrus the fire element but he's able to attribute change to the other 6 attributes except for the currently and mostly unknown Aurelus attribute, further increasing our power," Eva explained
"And Wolf uses an Aurelus Bakugan, which is golden elemental," Marucho pointed out.
"That means we're one attribute short," Runo remarked. "The wind elemental Ventus,"
"Hey wait, guess who has Ventus." Marucho remembered
"Shun," Dan gasped.
"Correct Dan, Right now both Masquerade and Alisa are stronger than us, I suggest we align ourselves with Shun to increase our power even further," Marucho said.
"Brilliant, with Shun on our team, we'll be force to be reckoned with. No one will come close to beating us. Not to mention that Shun's a real hunk, right Dan?" Runo said.
"This is the most impeccable prepose I believe we've ever engineered," Marucho said. "What do you think Dan?" Marucho asked.
"No!" Dan said, surprising everyone.
"Huh?" Marucho muttered in confusion.
"But Dan, we need all the help that we can get." Runo countered, Dan didn't reply. "Or maybe you're jealous?"
"I am not!" Dan exclaimed before flipping the covers over his head. "Besides I don't need help from anybody else, especially you Runo!:
"Yep, super jealous," Runo teased.
Eva rolled her eyes, she could tell that he wasn't jealous that something must have gone wrong between Dan and Shun, which could explain why Shun didn't battle anymore.
Dan rolled on his side annoyed. 'Girls, who needs them?'
(AAAnimus)
Alisa was smirking in her office and was twirling with a strand of her hair before pressing a button on the intercom. "Juri, can you send in the Pyrite twins," Alisa asked.
"Yes, miss Alisa," Juri replied.
A minute later Asch and Leona walked and bowed. "You called us miss Alisa," Asch asked.
"Aschie, we're family you can call me mom at work," Alisa smirked.
"So what are we doing tonight mother?" Leona asked.
"I think that it's time for Alice to meet her siblings," Alisa smirked
"So we finally get to meet our stepsister, I can't wait," Asch replied.
"But what of Judai, I don't think he'll give us the honors of meeting her," Leona added.
"I don't think he'll mind," Alisa said with an innocent smile.
"Alright, we're leaving now mother," Asch said as he and Leona left.
Alisa sighed. "Why can't Ali be more like them?"
(Marucho's House)
Later that night Runo, Marucho, and Eva had boarded Marucho's private hover plane with Dan knowing Eva had texted Judai telling him she would be staying at Runo's house for the night and not to worry about her.
"Oh man, if Dan finds out what we're doing he's going to be so mad," Marucho said.
"Relax Marucho, we have to asked Shun to help us. And trust me, Dan will thank us," Runo replied.
"I hope so," Marucho said.
"It might not be that easy guys," Eva stated.
"I wonder why Dan is so dead set against Shun?" Runo asked. "I remember they used the be the best of buds, they even made up all the Bakugan rules,"
"Wow, that's almost interesting," Preyas commented.
"Call me crazy, but I thought for sure Dan would want to hook up with Shun again," Runo said.
"Maybe something happened between them?" Eva surmised.
"It'll be fine, all we have to do is ask Shun for help," Runo replied.
"And if he says no?" Eva questioned.
"Then… we'll just have to persuade him," Runo replied.
"Runo, we have no idea if Shun is willing to help us, there must be a reason why he stopped battling and why he and Dan won't talk to each other," Eva stated.
"Dan is being a baby instead of moping about how he should help us recruit Shun," Runo countered.
"Runo, there's two sides to every story, there's something we're missing, and instead of trying to figure it out we're going on some possible failed recruitment mission with no real plan or understanding," Eva snapped.
Before Runo could counter Marucho spoke up "Hey, Runo, Eva I believe that's Shun's house down there," Marucho said which both girls looked out and saw Shun's house.
(Shun"s House)
"House? More like Mansion," Eva remarked at the size of the place.
"According to my research Shun's family owns the largest estate west of Bay City," Marucho said,
"Big bucks and good looks hello Shun," Runo cooed.
"Runo, we're here on business not to flirt," Eva stated.
"She's right, and what if Shun decides if he's not interested, our whole mission would be a failure," Marucho said with uncertainty.
"Quit being such worrywarts," Runo said, "And let's get this over with,"
"I hope she has a backup plan if this fails," Eva muttered to Marucho who nodded in agreement.
"Hey, Shun!" Runo called out, as if on cue the doors opened. "Well, that was fast,"
"I got a bad feeling about this," Eva muttered.
The three battle brawlers walked through the gate, Runo opened the slide door and the three were met with a long hallway, they stared down the hall for a minute before taking their shoes off and began traversing the hall.
"This place looks bigger on the inside," Eva stated, the hallway seemed to go on a long way.
"I hate to be the one who vacuums this place," Runo remarked.
"You guys think anyone's home?" Marucho asked.
"No clue, but let's keep looking," Runo replied before unknowingly hitting a wire with her ankle, which caused wooden boards attached to lines outside to clatter together. "Oh no what did I do?"
"I think you triggered an alarm system," Eva surmised.
Hidden panels on both sides of the walls before poles shot out of the walls, shocking all three brawlers as they began to narrowly avoid them.
"Let's get out of here!" Runo said, before they made a break for it while dodging the poles.
However a trap door opened in the floor, all three jumped the hole and landed on the other side but a hole in the ceiling opened and a net fell over them, which they began to struggle to get it off.
"Well this is a way to make people feel welcomed," Eva stated in annoyance.
"This house is one big booby trap," Marucho said.
"You can say that again," Runo agreed.
"Hahaha, well what have we here? A couple of snoopy little kids who have the gaul to sneak into my house," Kazami said, landing in front of them. "This is only the second time someone has snuck into my house and this time I'll escort them out."
"Um… you two got any idea about the old man in the sweatpants?" Runo asked with a confused expression.
"That's Shun's grandfather, he used to be a famous ninja back when there were ninjas." Marucho answered.
"No way," Runo gasped.
"Wait? What do you mean by second time?" Eva asked
"It matters not, now stated your business or face the wrath of my…" Kazami trailed off before drawing a wooden katana. "Wooden Sword."
"Please put down the wooden sword, we come in peace," Marucho said.
"We're friends of Shun, we just want to see him" Runo added.
"Friends of my Grandson"s?" Kazami questioned.
"My name is Runo, and these are my friends Marucho and Eva," Runo introduced them, before she reached into Marucho's pocket.
"Hey! What are you doing trying to give me a wedgie?" Marucho said, struggling.
"Oh man up Marucho," Eva said, rolling her eyes at Marucho's antics.
Runo pulled out Preyas and showed him to Kazami. "Here, show this to Shun and he'll explain everything," She said before flicking Preyas at Kazami while the Aquos Bakugan hit the retired ninja in the forehead and landed on the ground.
"What was that for?" Preyas asked before curling up as Kazami picked him up.
"Oh yes, you're what they call Bakugan Battle Brawlers, and that woman from last night also had a Bakugan," Kazami said which caught their attention. "And you're here to get Shun to play this silly game again?"
"Well yeah, that's what we were thinking," Runo answered.
"That's what I thought, he's not interested, now leave the premises at once," Kazami ordered.
"Oh please, please pretty please," Runo asked with her eyes closed and hands together.
"You're really getting on my nerves kid," Kazami said with a glare.
"This is getting us nowhere, I have a plan," Runo said.
"No Runo, let me handle this, cause you might get us in more trouble," Eva told Runo as they finally removed the net.
"Mr. Kazami, can you at least tell us why Shun isn't interested in Bakugan anymore?" Eva asked politely.
"Before that can I have my Bakugan back," Marucho asked.
"Sure what do I care," Kazami said before tossing Preyas at Marucho but also a red ball with a lit fuse. Before it blew up covering the hall in smoke making the three brawlers cough from the smoke.
"Did you not hear me?!" Kazami yelled as he jumped into the air intended to strike them, which on instinct all three battlers opened their Field Cards which stopped time.
(Standard Field)
As they opened their eyes they saw they were in the Standard Field.
"Where are we?" Preyas questioned,
"It's the standard battlefield, so want to battle?" Runo asked.
"Are you nuts" Preyas yelled, while Runo giggled.
"I swear when I get home I'm suing that old man for attempted assault," Eva stated in frustration.
"Don't worry about it Eva we're fine now," Runo smiled.
"Wait I got an Idea, we stopped time when Shun's grandfather was about to attack us." Marucho surmised.
"Which means, all we have to do is find the spot where we are standing and move to a different spot," Eva confirmed.
"Ok. I get it. let's do it," Runo nodded.
"Ok, we were standing right there," Eva said pointed forward.
"Ok, so we'll just move over here," Runo said before they moved over a couple of spaces forward.
"Are you two ready?" Marucho said as he held up his Field Card, Runo and Eva nodded in agreement.
"Field Close!" Runo exclaimed.
(Real World)
Time slowly began to move again, and Kazami was met with an empty space where the three brawlers once were.
"Oh, this is going to leave a mark!" Kazami exclaimed, hitting the floor before rolling into the trap door. All three kids looked into the trap door and saw Kazami flat on his back. "Honey, did you let the cat out?" he said dazed before passing out.
Runo and Marucho laugh and give each other low fives, while Eva sighed wondering if coming here was a bad idea, suddenly they heard a whistle from outside in which all three exited the house and saw Shun playing a grass whistle in the moonlight.
"It's Shun," Eva said excited seeing the former number 1 battler in the flesh but she knew it wasn't the time to geek out.
"Shun!" Runo called out.
"Hey, Shun!" Marucho called out as well.
Shun stopped playing and glared down at them, he of course recognized Runo and Marucho but he didn't fully recognize the second girl, he had seen her in the rankings a rising star along with Judai Yamato.
"We found you, I was getting a little worried," Runo smiled.
"It's nice to see you again Shun," Marucho said.
"You might have heard of me from the rankings, but my name is Evangeline Yamato, i'm a new battle brawler and it's nice to meet you Shun," Eva bowed,
"Why did you come here?" Shun asked, ignoring what Eva said.
"We know this is short notice, we kinda need your help," Marucho said.
"I don't know if you know this, there's this really freaky dude that calls himself Masquerade, and he is sending kids Bakugan to the Doom Dimension," Runo explained.
"Not only that, Alisa the CEO of AAAnimus is hosting a tournament which might be more than what it seems, we need you and your Bakugan to boost our power, without you we could lose all our Bakugan," Marucho explained.
"So what do you say Shun, are you in or out?" Runo said hopefully.
Shun didn't reply, he just stared into the sky, which confused Runo and Marucho while Eva already knew Shun's answer from his silence, she didn't know what caused Shun to stop battling but it didn't take a genius to know asking politely wouldn't had work either way.
"Well?" Runo asked.
"Sorry, I don't play on a team," Shun answered.
"Huh?" Runo and Marucho gasped in surprise.
"Now leave," Shun told them.
"Huh!" Runo and Marucho gasped again.
The three were escorted out of the mansion, Runo and Marucho were banging on the gate while Eva hanged back.
"Now what?" Marucho said
"Shun, open up." Runo pleaded
"Hahaha!" Kazami laughed and all three looked to him on the roof. "Didn't I tell you kids? My grandson doesn't want anything to do with you three, now skedaddle before I go all ninja on you hahaha,"
"That old man needs rehab," Eva muttered.
"Humans are weird," Eenoch muttered as well.
"Come on Shun!" Runo shouted as she continued to bang on the door.
"Please Shun, open up, if you don't help all the Bakugan Rules you and Dan created will be destroyed!" Marucho yelled. "You got to let us in."
"At least let us battle you, Shun!" Runo yelled at the top of her lungs.
Shun was in his room looking out the window, his mind still clouded, the thoughts of Alisa's proposal and the appearance of Runo, Marucho, and this supposed new battle brawler Eva. his thoughts were interrupted by his partner Skyress.
"Are you sure you want them to leave Shun? If they do, they may never come back again. They came an awful long way to see you," Skyress stated.
"Yeah…" Shun replied.
"Oh Shun…" Skyress sighed.
"It's ok, Skyress," Shun told his partner.
"If you're worried about me? Don't everything will be fine." Skyress said. "You must stop running away from what's in your heart. After all there will come a day when you'll have to face up to it."
Shun looked at Skyress for a minute, before opening up his drawer revealing two other Ventus Bakugan, a deck of cards, two pouches, a glove along with the cell phone Alisa gave him, Shun's face turned determined.
At that moment, Runo, Marucho, and Eva were walking back to the plane, frustrated at their failed attempt to recruit Shun.
"I can't believe what happened back there," Runo shouted in frustration.
"It could have gone better," Eva commented.
"I know, first Dan blows us off and then Shun doesn't want anything to do with us," Marucho stated.
"If there's one thing I'll never understand is boys," Runo frowned.
"Hey, do you two think we should go back and try again?" Marucho asked.
"I don't think it would make any difference," Eva replied.
Suddenly Shun jumped in front of them, bending at his knees.
"S-Shun?" Runo stuttered in surprise from Shun's sudden appearance,
"Did you change your mind and decided to join up with us?" Marucho asked.
The lights of the plane flashed to life enveloping Shun who put on his glove, before speaking. "But only if you defeat me,"
"Sounds like a blast," Runo replied ready to battle. "I'm up for it,"
"No let me Runo, I have a better chance if I pitted my Aquos against his Ventus," Marucho remarked."You got to trust me on this one."
"That is true, however, I don't think attribute advantage would be a problem for someone as skilled as Shun," Eva surmised.
"I'm ready when you three are," Shun said, shocking them. "I'll take on all three of you at once,"
"You can't be serious," Runo uttered.
"I am," Shun replied. "Drome up!" he called out as the Drome rose up, before pulling out his gate card. "Now field…"
"Open!" all four called out, as they were transported to the battlefield.
(Battle Arena Dimension)
All four battlers were teleported to the Battle Arena, Runo, Marucho, and Eva were on one long platform while Shun was one on a platform opposite to them, his expression serious.
"He doesn't know what he's doing," Runo said, surprised Shun was going to take them all on at once. "He's crazy."
"He wouldn't be doing this if he didn't have the skills to back up his claims," Eva said completely serious, she knew she had to bring her A-game if she was going to match let alone beat the former rank 1 battler.
"Skills, Smills, it's three against one he doesn't stand a chance," Runo proclaimed.
"Gate Card Set!" all four battlers shouted, throwing out their gate cards.

"Ok. I'll go first," Marucho said. "Bakugan Brawl!" he shouted, throwing his Bakugan onto his gate card. "Terrorclaw Stand!"
Appearing in a flash of blue light, was a Crab-like Bakugan with gigantic pincers

Shun, wasting no time, threw his Bakugan as well. "Bakugan Brawl!" Shun shouted as he threw the Bakugan on the Gate card where Terrorclaw currently was. "Ravenoid Stand!"
(Ravenoid enters battle at 350gs)
As soon as the Ventus Bakugan landed on Marucho's Gate Card, in a flash of green light, a Humanoid Raven-like Bakugan covered in plated armor flew in the air, prepared for battle.
"Alright, Bakugan Gate Card Open!" Marucho called out.
Suddenly a flood rosed up behind TerrorClaw and splashed over the Aquos Bakugan, increasing its power.
(Power level increasing, Terrorclaw now at 290-340gs)
"Wait Marucho!" Eva called out.
However, Shun held up an ability card. "Ability Activate! Tornado Pandemonium!" he enveloped himself in a green tornado which clashed with the wave canceling out the power level increase from the gate card.
(Counter Ability nullifies Power Level Increase, Terrorclaw's power level decreased to 340-240gs)
Ravenoid then swept down and tackled TerrorClaw forcing him back into ball form.
"Ahh! Impossible!" Marucho said in shock as Terrorclaw rolled back to him in defeat, while Shun caught his Bakugan who returned to him victoriously

Runo just growled. "This isn't over yet!" Runo said before throwing down her gate card and then threw in her Saurus onto the newly set gate card

"But that's not enough gs," Marucho said.
"And that's exactly what's he's thinking," Runo said, confusing both Eva and Marucho. "All I have to do is activate my Saurus Character card and double my power." Runo thought.
"Gate Card Set!" Eva yelled throwing down another Gate Card. "Bakugan Brawl! Centipoid Stand!"
Appearing in a flash of purple light was a Darkus Centipoid, ready for battle.
(Centipoid enters battle at 330gs)
'My Centipoid's ability will allow me to call over Shun's Bakugan if he chooses not to go for Runo's bait plus with my gate card Triple Battle he'll be outnumbered,' Eva thought.
"Gate Card Set!" Shun yelled, tossing in a new gate card, and threw down another Ventus Bakugan onto his newly set Gate Card.
Appearing in a flash of green light was a Ventus Falconeer who flew in the air ready for battle.
{Falconeer enters battle at 340gs}
"He didn't attack either of us," Runo said, confused.
"Don't worry I got it covered," Eva smirked. "Ability Activate! Black is Darkness! With this Centipod can call opponents to his gate card,"
Centipoid then shot out lightning that force Falconeer to move to the gate card that he was on, Shun however wasn't too worried.
"Gate Card Open! Triple Battle! Thanks to this, the battle is on hold until a third battler is on the Gate card." Eva explained.
On the Gate Card, an invisible wall appeared separating both Centipoid and Falconeer from interacting with each other.
"Marucho," Eva uttered. "You're up."
"Thanks Eva, Now Bakugan Brawl!" Marucho exclaimed, throwing his Bakugan on Eva's gate card. "Limulus Stand!"
Appearing in a blue flash of light, alongside Centipoid was a horseshoe crab/trilobite hybrid like Bakugan.
{Limulus enters battle at 320gs, due to Triple Battle, Combined Power Level with allied Centipoid is 650gs)
The invisible wall separating the Bakugan from battling each other then vanished but just before the battle could commence, Shun intervened.
"Ability Activate! Jump Over!" Shun announced as he threw the card at Falconeer who then formed a cyclone of wind around himself as Falconeer used the winds from the cyclone to jump back to the gate card that he was originally on.
Because there were now two Bakugan on Eva's Gate Card, Triple Battle was back in effect and the invisible wall appeared forcing the tag-team of Centipod and Limulus to stop.
"No way! He returned to his original Gate card and forced the triple battle to take effect again," Marucho said in shock mouth agape
"No wonder he's the former rank 1 battler he's good," Eva grimace.
"Well back to the drawing board," Runo sighed.
"Is that all you got?" Shun asked looking at Eva.
Eva growled. "Not even close!" she then threw her last gate card down, "Bakugan Brawl!" She threw her Bakugan onto it. "Darkus Fear Ripper stand!"
In a flash of purple light, a Darkus Fear Ripper appeared on Eva's Gate card, flexing its claws, ready for battle.
(Fear Ripper enters battle with 340 gs)
"Bakugan Brawl, Ravenoid Stand!" Shun shouted as he threw the Raven-like Bakugan on his first Gate card.
Appearing unopposed from a flash of green light was Ravenoid who flew in the air.
(Ravenoid enters battle at 350gs)
"He just keeps placing his Bakugan on different cards, why doesn't he fight?" Runo stated in frustration.
"Then it looks like it's my turn," Tigrerra said, gaining her partner's attention.
"What? What are you saying Tigrerra?" Runo asked.
"Shun's Bakugan are on the verge of attacking, I know their moves trust me," Tigrerra said.
"That a girl Tigrerra. You get in there and show them who's boss," Preyas cheered.
"This just might work, let's do it." Runo smiled. "We're counting on your Tigrerra," Runo said. "Gate Card Set!" she shouted as she threw her final Gate Card
(Introducing New Player!)
"Bakugan Brawl!" Runo shouted as she threw Tigrerra at her final gate card. "Tigrerra, stand!"
Appearing in a flash of white light, was a majestic white tiger-like Bakugan.
(Tigrerra enters battle at 340gs)
"If I need you, you'll be there right Skyress?" Shun asked Skyress who was in his hand.
"Yes," Skyress answered.
"This is it! Bakugan Brawl!" Shun shouted throwing Skyress onto Runo's Gate Card where Tigrerra was. "Skyress stand!"
As soon as Skyress landed on the gate card a beam of green energy shot into the sky creating dark clouds, slowly descending from them a green Phoenix-like Bakugan with its wings folded before it unfolded then and screeched. Shocking all three opponents.

"What is that?" Runo asked out loud in awe.
"A Ventus Skyress," Marucho answered.
"I've never seen him use one, he must have gotten it after he stopped battling," Eva surmised observing the Ventus Bakugan.
"Ability Activate! Winds of Fury!" Shun announced
Skyress then generated a powerful wind current, which Tigrerra began to struggle against the powerful gusts of wind.
Skyress then screeched before suddenly Ravenoid and Falconeer flew by and struck Tigrerra from both sides, causing her to stagger a bit.

Meanwhile, also struggling against the winds generated by Skyress were Saurus, Fear Ripper who braced themselves against the strong gusts of wind while Limulus and Centipoid were forcefully being lifted off their gate cards, as Ravenoid and Falconeer swept down and tackled each Bakugan out of the game, returning each of them to ball form. while Tigerra looked around at her fallen allies.

Skyress then flew down and hit Tigerra head-on with the Haos Tiger Bakugan roaring in pain.
"Oh no!" Marucho called out in worry.
"Come on Tigrerra, you can't give up, you need to keep fighting!" Runo called out walking over to her partner.
"Grr.. my battle has ended," Tigrerra growled before falling over and returning to ball form and landing at Runo's feet.
Runo fell to her knees in defeat, staring at her defeated Bakugan.
"Is it over?" Preyas asked.

"Completely and that includes Limulus, Saurus, along with Centipod and Fear Ripper as well," Marucho answered with defeat in his voice.
"Shun's Winds of Fury attack took us out in one blow, what an incredible play," Eva said, more amused than sad. "He launched his Skyress last, so his Falconeer and Ravenoid could run interference."
"Wait, Runo, Eva I just figured out Shun's strategy," Marucho said.
"That's right Runo, it isn't over until the fat lady sings," Preyas added.
Runo looked at them. "You mean we can still win?"
"Now we know his moves, we can counter him and beat him," Marucho said.
"What he said," Preyas stated.
"We only have four Bakugan left, so let's make this play count," Eva said.
Marucho grabbed Preyas out of the air. "We have to surprise him, it's up to you Preyas."
"Bakugan Brawl!" Marucho shouted as he threw Preyas onto Shun's Gate Card with Falconeer on it "Preyas Stand!:"
In a flash of light, Preyas appeared on the field holding an umbrella. "I heard there was a party here, so I thought I drop right in!" he said before throwing the umbrella away. "Wait so what do I do?"
(Preyas enters battle at 300gs, Falconeer remains stable at 340gs)
"This doesn't look good," Marucho said, as he observed the situation.
"Don't panic now Marucho," Eva told him.
Runo, whose face was darkened, spoke up as she got to her feet. "Don't worry Marucho, Eva, I got it figured out,"
"I hope you know what you are doing," Marucho said, eyes filled with worry.
"I have to get Tigerra back in the battle to help Preyas," Runo explained.
"But Runo, the rules state once a Bakugan loses they can't be used again," Marucho said.
"Wait. I get it." Eva said she knew what Runo was talking about. There was a way for Runo to bring Tigerra back into battle.
"I think I found a Loophole, here's what I need you two to do keep Skyress busy with Preyas and Eenoch" Runo said
"No one tells me what to do," Eenoch growls, not willing to battle for Eva yet.
"We need you Eenoch," Eva said.
"I refuse," Eenoch retorted.
"Sorry Runo, Marucho, I don't have any other Bakugan so I can't continue," Eva said, gritting her teeth angry that her new partner wouldn't battle with her.

"Are you ready?" Shun asked, getting Marucho's and Eva's attention
"Huh?" They both uttered.
"Gate Card open! Positive Delta!" Shun said as he wave his hand
The Gate card then began glowing brightly beneath both Preyas and the airborne Falconeer.
"You got to be kidding me," Marucho said.
"Oh crude!" Preyas shouted before jumping into the air. "Change of Attribute! Darkus!" Preyas shouted as he then changed into Darkus,
"What Attribute Change? No way!" Shun said in surprise.
(Typhoon Power Reduction to 120gs, Falconeer 340-140gs)
"But how?" Runo asked
"This is so cool, Shun's Positive Delta steals power from Water, Light, and Fire attributes, but when the opponent is either Wind, Earth, or Darkus it works in reverse," Marucho explained.
"In other words, Preyas is sucking Shun's typhoon dry," Eva pointed out with a smirk.
"Oh yeah, that's because Preyas changed his attribute," Runo smirked.
"Way to go Preyas," Marucho called out to his partner.
"Yep, it's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it," Preyas smiled. "Alright incoming!" Preyas shouted as he leaped at Falconeer and punched the Ventus Bakugan forcing it back to ball form.

"So, there is a Bakugan that could change his own attribute." Shun stated before he threw down his final Gate Card.
"Bakugan Brawl" Shun shouted as he threw Skyress at his newly set Gate gate. "Skyress, Stand!"
Skyress reappeared on the field, with her wings folded, and with a screech, she unfolded them.
Runo glared with determination. "Alright, Griffon Bakugan Brawl!" she tossed Griffon onto the gate card where Ravonoid was.
Appearing in a yellow flash of light, was a chimera-like Bakugan. He has a lion's fore-body and a snake as a tail. Its hind legs are like a goat's and are scaled. It has a pair of huge bat-like wings.
"Ability Activate! Venomous Beast Torrent Attack!" Runo shouted
Griffon roared, and in a flash of yellow he was replaced by Tigrerra, this unexpected move caught Shun and Marucho off guard while Eva smirked understanding what Runo had done.
"Woah…" was all Shun could say.
"Ability Activate! Crystal Fangs!" Runo announced
(Tigrerra's power level increased detected, 340-420gs)
Tigrerra wasted no time and charged at Ravenoid and slashed the Ventus Bakugan sending it flying before it returned to ball form.

Runo caught Tigrerra in both hands. "Great Job Tigrerra." Runo smiled.
"Thanks for giving me a second chance my lady," Tigrerra thanked her partner.
"I had no idea, you could change your Bakugan," Marucho stated.
"It's an ability that Automatically defeats Griffon and allows the user to choose another Bakugan that has been previously defeated to take Griffon's place. I've used it before it comes in handy for a surprise attack, however, it can only be used by Griffon." Eva explained.
"So that's how she got Tigerra back into the battle again," Marucho stated.
"We'll talk about that later Marucho, we still have a battle to win," Runo stated.
Marucho nodded. "Bakugan Brawl!" he shouted, throwing Preyas onto Skyress's gate card. "Preyas Stand!"
In a flash of blue light, Preyas assumed his true form.
"Ability Card Activate! Wind and Water combined." Marucho said.
"Ability Activate! Cut-in Saber!" Runo added.
A yellow bolt of lighting stuck down on the card, in which Tigerra appeared on the gate card. Preyas then jumped onto her back.
"Gate Card Open! Character!" Shun shouted as the Gate Card open, revealing Skyress's Character card
As soon as the gate card opened, it started glowing green with Skyress glowing a bright green with her power increasing her power, the green phoenix screeched with anticipation ready to battle on Shun's orders.
"Alright Skyress, let's lock and load," Shun said.
(Accessing strength-Skyress Power Level surges to 720gs {Skyress 360-720gs}. Preyas increase to 400gs {Preyas 300-400}. Tigrerra remains stable at 340gs)
"And when you add that up, we're at 740gs," Runo smirked.
"We are the champions, we are the champions!:" Preyas chanted, as Tigerra charged towards Skyress.
"Let's finish this," Tigrerra roared leaping forward and crashed into Skyress pushing the Ventus Bakugan back.
"Shun!: Skyress called out.
"Don't worry Skyress, I still haven't played my ace yet!" Shun said "Ability Card Activate! Firestorm!" Shun shouted.
Skyress screeched before she was engulfed by green flames.
(Because her Character Card was activated, the effect of the Ability Firestorm doubles)
(Skyress Power level increase detected, combined reading at 920gs {Skyress 720-920})
"Oh!" Tigrerra gasped.
"We're in trouble now!" Preyas said in fear.
Skyress swooped down and tackled both Bakugan, returning them to ball form.

"Ahh!" Runo gasped.
"Impossible," Eva said in shock.
"Game over.." Shun said as green flames burned in the background after Skyress's final attack before catching his partner who returned to ball form. "You lose our bet,"
"Ahh but…" Marucho stuttered.
"No way!" Runo said in disbelief.
At that time Judai and Alice were watching some tv, enjoying their quiet evening, Alice was the one to break the silence.
"I wonder how Eva is doing?" Alice questioned, Eva had called over and said she would be staying at Runo's for the night.
"Don't worry about her, I'm happy she's out of the house, it's much quieter," Judai smirked.
"Oh grow up Judai," Alice dismissed.
"Well bright side is Komodo seems to like his new home now and call me crazy but I actually like the guy," Judai said.
"Hahaha, you are crazy like the rest of your family." Alice giggled into her fist.
"Hahaha. Very funny…" Judai laughed sarcastically.
Suddenly a knock came from the door getting their attention, While Buster growled at the front door.
"I'm not expecting anyone, '' Judai stated as he got up and walked to the front door, he opened the door and was met with two teens his age. "Hello, can I help you? If you want to buy something, sorry the store is closed."
"We are not here to buy anything, we're here to see our sister," Leona answered.
"Sister?" Judai said, narrowing his eyes.
"Where are our manners? My name is Asch Pyrite, and this is my fraternal twin sister Leona," Asch told Judai.
"What do you two want?" Judai demanded.
"As we said, I said we should talk with our sister, or stepsister the proper term would be," Leona answered.
Before Judai could answer Alice walked up behind him. "Is there something wrong Judai?" she asked in worry.
"Hello there Alice, it's nice to meet you at last, you do look like mother," Asch smirked which shocked Alice.
'These two work for Alisa, what are you up to this time Alisa,' Judai thought, gritting his teeth.
"You could say we are family Alice, our mother took us in when we were left to rot on the streets," Leona stated.
"That woman is not my mom, what has she done to you when she took you in?" Alice said not holding back her hostility. "Probably raped you like she nearly did me,"
"Don't talk about her like that!" Leona stated her voice was elevated.
"Especially since she took you out and got your new stuff," Asch said with his left hand in his pocket.
"That woman saved me and my little brother from the streets when our relatives kicked us out of our home, she kept us fed and gave us clothes and taught us how to defend ourselves!" Leona said her diamond earrings swinging from her movements.
Judai just frowned. "Are you two here to just chat, or is there something else you want to talk about?"
"Nah, just came to introduce ourselves to our sister," Leona said
"I am not your sister, and just because she took me out doesn't mean I forgive her for what she had done to me as a little girl," Alice told Leona.
"Sooner or later you'll come back to mother Alice, she misses you whether you like it or not," Asch smirked, crossing his arms.
"Yeah right… more like misses my body, I don't want anything to do with her." Alice glare with open hostility. "Now get out of here."
"Alright, fine," Leona said as she put her hands up in a placating manner. "We'll go. But you'll see us again soon sis."
"See you on the battlefield Judai," Asch said as both he and Leona left without any further words.
Alice just looked at the ground. "She just won't leave me alone, and now I have to deal with step siblings that work for her."
"It's alright Alice," Judai said as he put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm here for you."
Alice looked at him and smiled. "I know,"
Shun was now back in his room after his victory over Runo, Marucho, and Eva, in his hand was Alisa's cell, he had thought this over and he came to a conclusion.
"Shun, whatever you decided, I am with you all the way," Skyress told him in a reassuring voice,
Shun looked at her before dialing on the cell, to which Alisa answered the phone.
"Have you decided?" Alisa asked.
"Yes…" Shun said in a serious tone.
