Somewhere in the training facility of AAAnimus, several teenagers were called by Alisa for some reason. Among them were Magnus, Asch, and Leona. The others were both the Elite and regular members of Alisa's battlers. The Elites consisted of Magnus, Asch, Leona, a girl with long brown wavy hair, and slightly tan skin, she wore a blue t-shirt under a white short sleeve jacket with a matching white skirt that went just above her knee caps with a waist cap attached to it, her name was Vivian Stellaris the Aquos battler, she and Leona were almost always at odds with each other. Next was a young girl with a traditional Chinese hairstyle, the front rounded with the back tied into a ponytail, she wore a light pink qipao long in the front and back with floral patterns on it, with black leggings underneath and pink slippers, her name is Mei Ling an orphan that Juri and Alisa had taken in from an orphanage, she was currently training under Juri and her style is based on Chan's, which she had incorporated into her own style. The last was Claude Yamada, the eldest of the elite battlers. Unlike the other elites he had parents work for Alisa in her London branch, he had long white hair tied into a ponytail and pale skin, he is sarcastic and witty even to the point of cruelty, he wears small oval glasses, along with a white tailcoat with black trimming, with matching white dress pants, and black dress shoes, he looked like he was going to a masquerade ball.
Currently, the Drome was active so that the training room section of the building won't be damaged by the battle and currently all 6 members of the Elite Battlers have their partner Bakugan engaged in a massive battle royale.
"Now Nillious, Shadow Breath!" Magnus commanded.
Nillious obeyed as he fired two blasts of dark energy at Serpillious who was Mei Ling's partner and a Ventus-colored Wyvern-like Bakugan who was air, glaring at the incoming attack while awaiting Mei Ling's command.
"Serpillious, counter with Sonic Thrash!" Mei Ling shouted
Serpillious roared as he charged power into his tail, then retaliated with a powerful beam from his tall, both attacks collided and struggled for a second before exploding creating a smoke cloud. It dissipated and revealed both Bakugan continued to glare at each other ready to continue their battle.
"Not bad as usual Magnus, but you and Nillious won't be at the top forever," Mei Ling smirked as Serpillious screeched.
"We'll see about that." Magnus scoffed as Nillious howled ready to continue battling.
At that time in another part of the training facility, Asch and Claude's partner Bakugan were currently having a battle of brute force between them.
Toronoid was a Pyrus-colored bovine/behemoth/canine-chimeric-like Bakugan who was trying to push back Vandarus, who was a Subterra-colored Bakugan that resembled a Stone Titan, he was huge and bulky. His main skin was yellow but covered in yellow rock at the ends of the limbs and chest. His wrists, ankles, and necklines were lined with hard rock. His head was shaped like a knight's helmet, with additional scythe blades at each side. Vandarus held Toronoid by his horns and held his ground as both tried to overpower the other.
"Well, Asch it would seem like we are at a stalemate," Claude smirked.
"Heh, I know you well Claude you and that overgrown statue barely take any of us seriously," Asch replied. "Now Toronoid demolishes that statue."
Toronoid started to put more power into its charge as he started to push Vandarus backward. Vandarus however still continued to hold its ground.
"Damn it," Asch scowled.
"Looks like you're not getting anywhere now are you?" Claude commented.
"Shut it four-Eyes." Asch scowled, irritated by Claude's personality. "You're only a member of the elite battlers because of your intellect but after me, you're the weakest."
"Weakest is a matter of opinion, Asch which I think you are lacking in," Claude replied calmly.
"Ahh! Flamboyant bastard!" Asch shouted in rage. "Inferno Rampage!"
Toronoid was suddenly engulfed in flames which engulfed both him and Vandarus and the area around them.
'Did I go too far?' Claude thought. 'Hah,'
Meanwhile, Leona and Vivian were in the middle of a furious battle. Leona noticed from the corner of her eye the flames and knew what they meant.
"Oh, that happens every time, Asch and Claude battle each other," Leona shook her head, knowing her little brother's short temper.
"Heh, like always the resident firebrand of our team that let's the simplest thing get to him," Vivian mocked.
"Forget about my brother Vivian, cause you are going to lose," Leona replied, she hated Vivian a spoiled little girl who thought herself mother's favorite female battler, and she was always out to prove she wasn't
"That's what you think!" Vivian countered.
"Lupitheon, Sonic Howl!" Leona shouted
Leona's Partner Lupitheon was a Haos-colored werewolf-like Bakugan. Lupitheon howled, releasing a powerful wave of sound aimed at his opponent Apophix who was Vivian's partner, and an Aquos-Colored winged/finned cobra-like Bakugan glared at the incoming attack and awaited Vivian's command.
"That's all? Apophix counter-attack Toxic Tide!" Vivian shouted
Apophix charged up water in his jaw before launching a stream of poisoned water; the sonic and poison attacks collide and create a smoke cloud. Lupitheon shot out of the smoke and punched Apophix in the head knocking him to the ground.
"That was a cheap shot bitch!" Vivian scowled, gritting her teeth.
"Ah, me and my partner are far better than you two, and mother's best female battler," Leona smirked.
"That's it Leona, no more miss nice girl, and Bakugan!" Vivian shouted in anger, as Apophix got up ready to continue.
While the battles between the elites were continuing to battle, they were being watched by six other kids, these were Alisa's secondary team, like the elite team they were either orphans that Alisa had taken in off the street or adopted, others were kids of some friends or from people she helped had offered them a place in her company.
"Look at them go, that's going to be us soon sis," Yukina the Dakus battler of the secondary asked her twin, she has long flowing black hair tied into a ponytail, she wears a long sleeve floral kimono with a short black skirt
"Yes, we have been training to be a part of their team," Yukito replied the elder twin and Pyrus battler replied, Yukito has long flowing black hair only it's not in a ponytail, she was wearing the same type of kimono as Yukina only hers was red instead of black,
"Charming as that sounds, but there is only one who can join lady Alisa's Elite team," Valon said in a charming tone, he had short gray hair with a bang covering his right eye, his eyes were lilac, wearing a dress vest over a long sleeve dress shirt. He wears black dress pants and dress shoes,
"Don't get ahead of yourself Valon," Roselyn retorted, she has shoulder-length blonde hair and light brown eyes. She wears a black muscle shirt that clings to her body under a red jean jacket and matching jean skirt, along with black leather boots. "Cause we all know your 'fascination' with mother,"
"Let us not fight amongst ourselves, one day we all might end up on the elite team one day," Arthur stated, He has blonde messy hair with a bang of hair coming from his forehead, he wears a yellow long coat, over a black muscle shirt, black pants and brown boots.
"He's right, hard work will get us to where we are," Travis commented, he had short dark brown hair and light green eyes, he wears a purple shirt and khaki shorts, and white sneakers
Yukina just sneered at them. "Yeah right. The only one who would join the Elites would be me and my sister." Yukina stated before turning to her sister. "Right sis?" she asked.
"Yukina, everyone has a chance to be nominated. But it takes more than just skill but commitment, if you show any then you can not be on the elite team," Yukito replied.
"Well said lady Yukito," Arthur said.
Suddenly a horn was heard throughout the facility, stopping the battles between the elites. Both teams turned towards a set of doors and out came Alisa and Juri.
Alisa smirked before speaking. "I see you all are working hard as ever," Alisa said.
"Yes, we're all training hard for the upcoming Bakugan UBT," Yukina answered.
"Good, as you all know we have an alliance with Naga, and from this point forward Masquerade will assist us with a little power boost," Alisa said.
"With all due mistress, is that wise?" Yukito asked
"They are only a means to an end," Alisa said with her back turned to them. "Naga thinks that he is in control however when the time comes he will be eliminated, but for now I want him to think that we are allies,"
"I see then. Forgive me for speaking out of line." Yukito said
"No need to apologize, sweetie," Alisa smirked. "Now, like I said they have offered a power boost," Alisa said as she pulled out a remote and pressed a button and a big screen appeared at the end of the hall, it then turned on and revealed the silent orb. "This is the silent orb, as per my and Naga's agreement if we eliminate Drago and find the infinity core it will be ours and today Masquerade will arrive and present it to us if my theory is right which it is, we'll be able to power up the Bakugan too unbelievable levels,"
"Hmm, I still do not trust that Masquerade, and you did make Marduk and Vladitor join us too," Magnus commented.
"You know the old saying Magnus," Alisa smirked. "Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer,"
"Hmmph," Magnus muttered
"Well with all due respect, why did you give Masquerade Hydranoid instead of one of us?" Yukina asked,
Alisa just smirked. "Because to show a sign of good faith in our cooperation and to keep an eye on them,"
"So Hydranoid is working as a double agent relaying information back to us from Naga and Hal G's end, rather ingenious," Roselyn commented.
"I know, aside from that, Shun has given me his answer," Alisa smirked. "And normally I would send one of you but I have other tasks, so I'll be sending Marduk to assist Masquerade with dealing with Shun and the brawlers,"
"Now, Mei Ling I have a task for you today," Alisa said.
"I do whatever it takes, mother,' Mei Ling bowed.
'Why can't Ali be like one of them,' Alisa thought,

At that time, Alice was taking orders from some love-sick customers. She worked at Runo's place from time to time to help whenever Judai's family store was closed. "I'll be right with you." Alice smiled, while the men blushed as she handed out cups of coffee.
Alice then walked up to a table seating four men. "Here you go," she said, placing some cups.
"Excuse me, but do you hear the fire alarm," a man with glasses asked.
Alice was confused. "uh not really…"
"Cause you're smoking! Smoking hot!" a portly man said with a big smile.
Alice laughed. "Easy there boys' she said,
'I wonder if Judai would be jealous and angry about all the attention I'm getting,' Alice thought to herself.
"I have to say, that new waitress sure is good for business, this place is packed." a blonde-haired man with glasses said. "Can't say the same about your food," he laughed.
Runo's dad laughed as well. "Hahaha, you're such a comedian," he said before leaning forward. "Listen up,.my daughter Runo might hear yea,"
While Runo was washing dishes when Tigerra popped out of the pocket on her apron. "Runo, you seem so distant, what has you?"
Runo didn't reply all she could think about the battle with Shun was still fresh in her mind.
Flashback
Skyress who was covered in green flames dove towards both Tigrerra and Preyas.
"Ahh!:" Tigrerra gasped.
"Mommy!" Preyas shouted in fear.
Skyress was heading towards both Tigrerra and Preyas before she knocked both Bakugan away
"Ahh!" Runo shouted as both Bakugan returned to ball form.
Shun then caught Skyress. "Game Over… for you that is,"

Runo slowly gripped the cup in her hand and shut her eyes closed.
"Runo, are you ok?" Alice asked as she walked in.
Runo dropped the cup which shocked Alice. "Umm, yeah I'm fine," Runo said as she bent down and began to pick up the pieces, Alice knew what this was about. Eva had told her about their loss to Shun and can see it was affecting her friend.

Meanwhile during the night during a Full Moon. Shun was on top of his family's dojo, playing on his grass whistle.
"Shun, are you alright?" Skyress asked
"I don't know," Shun answered, unsure anymore.
(Dan's house)
"Dan Ranked 87 of 100!" the computer announced when Dan checked his rankings on the World Rankings.
Dan was currently watching over the rank scores with Judai who decided to visit for the day, while Eva was at Marucho's house going over data with him, Judai also brought Buster along.
"Looks like Julie is finally starting to catch up," Judai mentioned. "She's now ranked 93, Gorem must be one heck of powerhouse,"
"And number one for the most consecutive wins is a jerk, Masquerade!" Dan mocked, but then looked at Shun's ranking. "Shun, he's really letting himself go, slipping into 6th place like that,"
"I know." Judai agreed
"Dan, is it true that he was number 1 before Masquerade came along and beat everyone?" Drago asked
Dan leaned back in his chair. "Yeah, he ruled the game until he dropped the ball and never bothered to play again,"
"He no longer battles bakugan?" Nillious asked.
"Why would he not bother to battle anyone?" Leonidas asked.
"Yes, me and Shun used to be the best of friends, we did everything together you couldn't tear us apart," Dan said, he thought back to the times when he and Shun were kids.
Flashback
A younger Shun and Dan were running with the young ninja had an action figure in his hand, as Dan tried to reach it Shun sided stepped and the brunette fell to the ground, a little later Dan was biting Shun's arms making him cry not long after both Miyako and Shiori pulled both boys away.
{And when Bakugan started, we were the ones who laid down the law and made all the rules together, Shun was lead in breaking down all the moves,} Dan said.
Dan was currently on his computer, on his desk were a couple of Pyrus Bakugan as well as some Gate cards.
Dan was having a chat on his PC with his online friends consisting of Shun, Alice, Julie, Marucho, and Runo.
{Alright, how about for the Wind attribute, we invent a Backdraft Ability to force out any opponent left standing on the battlefield, totally blowing away the competition.} Shun said
As Shun was explaining, on the PC's monitor it showed the battlefield's game state with two Bakugan already on the same card when The Backdraft Ability was used, showing its effects as seen when the Ventus Bakugan was returned to the hand
{He was on a roll, but then he started to pull this disappearing act not long after his mom was taken to the hospital,} Dan said.
[So what do you think Shun?] Dan asked
However, Shun had a sad expression. [sorry but I have to go now,] he said before logging off catching everyone by surprise.
[But Shun…] Dan muttered.
Flashback end
"His mom is currently in the hospital and I think she's been on his mind," Dan said.
Judai nodded. 'I guess that does make sense, to why he stopped brawling' he now knew why he had stopped brawling, and he hoped that Shun's mother would be ok.
(Japan, Near Mount Fuji)
Meanwhile on a large farm near Mount Fuji. It had a large villa in the center of it painted brown with a red roof. It had a large field filled with multiple vegetables. And a farmhouse with a large red silo.
At the moment Anna, the aunt of Alice and Wolf, and the twin sister of Alisa were practically the same physically so many thought she was her sister at times. She was wearing a straw hat, blue undershirt, under overalls, and black rubber boots. She was currently working on a new system she had made for the field. She pressed a button on her computer and suddenly large poles rose up from the ground between the crops and on top of each one was a shower piece she then pressed another button which started them and suddenly water began to flow and the heads rotated back and forth making it rain like a sprinkler.
Anna worked in agriculture, discovering better ways to grow plants and raise animals, and her new system was meant to cover a large range of crops. After a minute of watering Anna pressed a button on her computer and shut the sprinklers off and then the poles then moved back into the ground.
"Good, the new system is holding well, just need to set the timer," Anna said, she then set the time for 5 minutes and smirked. "Ok, now it's time to take care of the animals,"
"Already taking care of that mom," a voice called out, Anna turned to see her daughter Maria, she was a beautiful girl who had caramel-colored hair that is styled into ringlets with a portion held up with a flower hairband. She has dark purple eyes and fair skin. Maria was wearing a simple white flowing dress that was just above her kneecaps.
Anna smirked. "Well done, Maria and I just tested the new sprinkler system and it's working well, we can take a break after we gather the eggs,"
"Way ahead of you sis," a familiar voice said, both turned to see Alisa and Juri holding baskets full of eggs. "Long time no see Anna," Alisa smirked.
"Yeah… not long enough," Anna frowned, not exactly thrilled to see her younger twin. "Why are you here?"
"Oh, I'm just here to visit my sister. Can you believe me when I say that I miss my sister and my niece?" Alisa asked.
"You haven't visited me in years, and I know you lead Alice back home," Anna frowned. "And since when did you miss me? I remember you telling me just like Wolf and Father that I never want to see you all again before you took Alice,"
"That hurts Anna, I just wanted to see you after all this time, is that so wrong," Alisa said in a hurt tone. "And if I remember, you hid the truth about Gray's death from Alice, so who's in the wrong here Annie?"
Anna glared and before she could say anything Maria spoke. "How about we all go inside for some tea, I picked some fresh tea leaves this morning?" Maria suggested, hoping to avoid a fight between her aunt and mother.
"Very well," Both women answered while glaring at each other.
They went into the villa, Alisa saw it was similar to back home only with a few differences. All four women were in the living room, Maria walked into the room with four hot cups of tea, she saw her mom glaring at her aunt who smirked she then put it on the table and passed each cup to Anna, Alisa, and Juri while taking a cup for herself and sat with her mom on the opposite couch.
Alisa took a sip and smiled. "Very nice, you grow good tea leaves," she complimented.
"Why thank you, Aunt Alisa." Maria smiled.
"Yes, you and your mother have done well with growing these," Juri complimented as well.
"Thank you miss Juri," Maria smiled.
Anna frowned. "Why are you here Alisa? I know this is more than just a 'family reunion'." she asked as she took a sip of her tea.
"If you must know, dear sister." Alisa stated, putting an emphasis on the word sister "There are some ruins near here that I'm currently investigating and since you lived nearby I decided to pay you and my beautiful niece a visit."
"I've seen those ruins," Maria said before turning to Anna, "You said they had something to do with the Bakugan?"
Anna just narrowed her eyes at her sister. "That's right, however, those Ruins are technically on my land and I don't want to have anything to do with your ambitions," Anna said, before fully committing herself to agriculture, she did study the Bakugan along with the great collision and the ruins nearby held some history of Bakugan walking on Earth.
"Come on Anna, this is only for the benefit of both humans and Bakugan, and if I know you, you know more about the ruins than I do at the moment," Alisa said.
"I won't repeat myself, sister, stop whatever operations that you have going on here and I won't report you to the authorities." Anna threatened.
Alisa just frowned. "How about a deal? If I know you do have that Bakugan partner still around right?"
Anna just frowned. "What are you trying to say?" Anna asked.
"We'll battle if I win, you take me to the ruins and help me, and if you win I'll leave without a word," Alisa offered, which shocked Maria.
"Mother?" Maria asked, unsure what her mom would say
Anna frowned. "Fine, we'll battle and you better leave when this over,"
"I always keep my word, I just hope you do too," Alisa smirked.

Later at night Shun was currently looking up at the sky, wondering if he made the right choice.
Brief Flashback
"I'll battle both Dan and Judai, but I want you to keep your word," Shun said gripping the cellphone "heal my mother and you'll get your data,"
"I always keep my word. However this isn't going to come cheap and no I don't want money I just need you to owe me a favor, just one which I'll collect when I feel like it," Alisa replied.
"Shun," Skyress uttered.
Shun frowned but answered. "Yes, one favor that's all,"
End of brief flashback
"Shun, I wish you wouldn't beat yourself over this, and like I said whatever you decided I'll remain by your side," Skyress said.
Shun said nothing as he continued to stare at the night sky. Remembering the day his mom was sent to the hospital and when he had stopped battling.
Flashback
Shun was sitting in a chair next to his mom, who was in bed strapped to the I.V machine. Shun was worried his mom had been struck with a sudden illness and had been in the hospital for the last week.
"Mom, you okay?" Shun asked, concerned for his mother.
"Oh, Shun, I'm fine," Shiori replied. "Could you please go get my purse? I have something that I've been saving. I think you'll like it."
"But…I don't want any-." Shun smiled.
"Just get me my purse silly," Shiori asked
"But I don't want anything from you," Shun said
"Yes, I know…But sometimes a mother just wants to give her son a gift just because she loves him." Shiori said, giving her reason. "Now go home and get my purse before I get all emotional. Your such a good boy."
Shun had walked out of the room heading home to her his mom's purse, 'Man, I wish my mom would stop worrying me so much and look after herself, she practically does everything for me, and now when she needs me the most she's still trying to make me happy, man I need to step up to plate and do something nice for her when she gets out,'
As soon as Shun left the hospital a rose from the flowering in Shiori's room dropped a petal, Shun had got home and had gotten his mother's purse however a video call came from the T.V and a picture of his grandfather appeared on the screen which made him frown.
"Shun, still there? Stop goofing around and get back here, things are going to change under my house rules," Kazami said.
Shun's eyes widened, dropping the remote, and ran out of the room. "No, he's not the boss of me,"
Shun was now in the elevator and gritted his teeth. "He really pisses me off!" Shun said, slamming his palm against the wall, as he ran outside and through he remembered the arguments his mom and grandfather had with each other.
{If I had my way, he wouldn't be playing with his friends and would be training to be a real warrior,} Kazami said.
{If you had your way! My son would be as lonely as you! This is why I moved away so we wouldn't hear you complain, father, if mom was still around she wouldn't let you torture your grandson or me} Shiori countered in anger.
His mom and grandfather had been at odds with each other when it came to him and ever since his grandma died, his grandfather had doubled down on training, in which his mom had moved them into the city not bothering to deal with his grandfather. However, that all might change today.
At the hospital, the doctors were checking on Shiori's vitals. "It's like she's stable," a nurse said.
Shiori, who was out like a light, spoke. "Shun…"
Shun was standing in the crosswalk with dozen of people, as the symbol changed to walk the people began to walk however Shun didn't and vanished as the people walked by, Shun decided to call upon Dan and the Two were now standing on the top floor of a parking garage.
"You finally came back?" Dan questioned. "Didn't think you show up,"
Shun said nothing as he glared at Dan who kept talking. "Since you're so out of practice, are you still ready to play?" Dan asked, taking out his gate card.
"Oh I'm gamed," Shun replied, taking out his gate card. "Question is are you?"
"Field Open!" both shouted, as time began to slow down, the I.V machine in Shiori's room began to slow down along with Shiori''s breathing until time stopped altogether.

"Gate Card set! Both shouted as threw their gate cards on the ground,

"Look what I have here?" Dan asked with a smirk. "It's your name and it's spelled out loser!" He threw his second gate card onto the side of Shun's. "Bakugan Brawl!" Dan shouted, throwing his first Bakugan out. "Saurus stand!"
In a flash of red light, the bulky humanoid triceratops-like Bakugan rose up ready for battle
"Bring it on," Dan said.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Shun shouted as he threw his Bakugan onto his own gate card. "Ravenoid Stand!"
In a pillar of green light, Ventus Ravenoid flew up as it let out a screech, ready for battle.
"What all talk and no show again?" Dan asked "Fine then I'll start, but first I need some reinforcements." Dan said, as he reached into his holder and out a Bakugan. "Been a while since we had face time," he then threw the Bakugan on and onto Shun's gate card. "Warius Stand!" Dan shouted
In a flash of red light, the armored Ogre Warius rose up as he spun his mace before slamming it to the ground.

"Ability card activate! Ring of Fire!" Dan shouted as he threw the card which then ignited in flames. The card hit Warius before he was engulfed in a tornado of fire before it became a flaming aura, causing Ravenoid to falter a bit.
(Ravenoid decrease to 260gs, 310-260gs)
"Dude you are so going down," Dan said. "And let this be a lesson in the mastery of ultimate kung fu moves,"
"Not so fast grasshopper." Shun countered. "Gate card open!"
At Shun's command, as soon as the Gate card opened, a massive windstorm appeared before the energy from the wind was transferred to Ravenoid engulfing it in some wind and increasing its power.
(Ravenoid up 100gs, 260gs-360gs)
"What?" Dan said in shock
Ravenoid screeched as he flexed his wings forward sending the wind currents at Warius not only canceling out the firewall but knocking the Pyrus Bakugan off his feet shocking Dan before Ravenoid kicked Warius out of the game. Shun caught Ravenoid as he continued to glare.

"Keep rolling hotshot," Dan smirked.
Shun said nothing as he took out his next gate card. "Gate Card Set!" Shun shouted as he tossed the gate card in between his and Dan's. "Bakugan Brawl!" Shun shouted, tossing his next Bakugan onto it. "Falconeer stand!"
In a flash of green light, Falconeer flew up while flapping its wings, ready for battle.
"No first strike again? What is this chess?" Dan said. "Bakugan Brawl!" he shouted, tossing his Bakugan onto Shun's card. "Griffon Stand!"
In a flash of red light, Griffon roared ready for battle. Griffon then flew up in the air and was now face-to-face with Falconeer, both Bakugan were ready to battle.

"Gate card Open!" Shun shouted
At Shun's command, as soon as the Gate card opened, a massive windstorm once again appeared. Cyclones filled with energy began to swarm around Falconeer before they engulfed the eagle-like Bakugan in an aura of wind, increasing his power leaving only his shadow visible through the wind, his eyes glow green. Falconeer then tore through the wind aura as he screeched.

Dan growled. "Amateur!" Dan shouted as he threw a card at Griffon.
The card turned red before it burst into flames and collided with Griffon's wings igniting them in flames.
"Ability Card Activate! Wing Burst!" Dan shouted

Griffon with its now ignited and flaming wings charged at Falconeer and headbutted him in the chest sending him flying back before Griffon flapped his flaming wings sending out a wave of fire that incinerated Falconeer, causing him to revert back to ball form.

Dan caught Griffon. "There. Balls in your court," he said to Shun.
"Gate card Set!" Shun shouted as he threw down his final gate card in front of Dan's second gate card. "Ravenoid Stand!" Shun shouted as he threw out Ravenoid onto the newly set gate card.
In a pillar of green light, Ravenoid emerged, ready for battle.
"Ugh, Don't just stand there move!" Dan said in frustration. "Hey, quit stalling and show me you got a game!" he shouted before throwing Griffon back in. "Bakugan Brawl! Griffon stand!"
In a flash of red light, Griffon appeared roaring

"Bakugan Brawl!" Both Dan and Shun shouted
Both Bakugan charged each other, tackling each other before they turned into beams of green and red energy and continued to clash.
'What is up with him? He should be wiping the floor with me by now and then doing it again,' Dan thought knowing something was completely wrong.
"Ability Activate! Wing Burst!" Dan called out
Griffon's wings were once again ignited and on flames.

Gate card Open! Character!" Shun shouted, revealing Ravenoid's character card.
As soon as Ravenoid's character card was revealed, Ravenoid felt a surge of power coming through, increasing his strength.

Griffon charged at Ravenoid who grabbed Griffon by the neck and then took a nosedive and slammed Griffon into the ground forcing him back to ball form.

'Still slacking off, this is one messed up game plan." Dan thought.
Shun said nothing as he glared at Dan who glared back. "Come on, cut the act and battle for real!" Dan said.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Shun shouted and threw his next Bakugan onto Dan's gate card. "Monarus stand!"
A dome of wind formed and a humanoid Butterfly-like Bakugan burst out of it leaving green sparkles in its wake.
"You gotta be kidding me?" Dan commented. "Oh well, bring it on!"
"Ability Card Activate!" Shun shouted, throwing it at Saurus, causing him to return back to ball form and return back to Dan who caught him.
Dan recognized the card Shun had just used, it was the one he had invented.
Brief Flashback
"Alright, how about for the Wind attribute, we invent a Backdraft Ability to force out any opponent left standing on the battlefield, totally blowing away the competition," Shun said
As Shun was explaining, on the PC's monitor it showed the battlefield's game state with two Bakugan already on the same card when The Backdraft Ability was used, showing its effects as seen when the Ventus Bakugan was returned to the hand

"What is up? Is blowing me away part of your strategy?" Dan asked
"I have my reasons," Shun smirked. "Why are you getting tired?"
"Yeah, I'm tired of you and your damn goofing around!" Dan shouted, tossing Saurus back onto his gate card. "Saurus Stand!"
In a flash of red light, Saurus once again rose up for battle
"Ability Activate! Backdraft!" Shun shouted, tossing the card at Monarus, which forced her to return to Shun's hand.
"What is this crap Shun? Are you just trying to trick me?" Dan demanded in frustration.
"Just keep playing, cause I never want to stop," Shun said, which caught Dan's attention.
"But why? What's going on?" Dan asked.
"Let it go," Shun said. "You wouldn't understand,"
"Aw, come on, look it can't be that bad, we can talk after the game," Dan replied.
"No don't! If my mom stays in the hospital it's game over for me that is if my grandfather has any say," Shun stated, Dan scowled it all made sense now why Shun kept disappearing and why he was drawing out the fight as it was. "So stop stalling and keep battling!" before throwing his Bakugan onto Dan's card. "Ravenoid stand!" Shun shouted
In a pillar of green light, Ravennoid appeared on the field ready to do battle.
"Gate Card Open!" Dan shouted.
At Dan's command, The gate card glowed red, before the entire field was engulfed in black rock and magma as flames surrounded the field. Ravenoid winced from the flames while Saurus rammed into Ravenoid with its shoulder knocking him back into ball form

Dan caught Sarus and frowned. "But why? All we're doing is Shadow Boxing." Dan asked as he clenched Saurus in his hand. "This isn't even a real game, you're only using me to avoid your stupid grandpa, and what's worse your mom's paying for it,"
Shun gasped, an image of his mother on her sickbed.
"There! " Dan shouted, throwing his final gate card down. "Bakugan Brawl! Saurus stand!" he shouted
In a flash of red light, Saurus rose for battle.
Shun growled and shook his head. 'No he's wrong, I must continue the game. Ah, he has the Pyrus Saurus, concentrate. I'll use the Air Battle ability… Whatever it takes.' Shun thought.
"Your little plan isn't working so just throw in the towel and go ok?" Dan stated.
Shun ignored him as he readied his shot. "Bakugan…" Shun started, however, the constant thoughts of his mother and the battle raced through his head, tears began to fill his eyes obscuring his vision. "Brawl!" he shouted, he then realized that he missed his target. "Ah, I overshot,"
In a flash of green light, Monarus ascended to battle.
"Gate Card Open! Character!" Dan shouted, revealing Saurus's character card.
Saurus was then engulfed by a red aura and roared, Monarus dove towards Saurus as she swept over him, Saurus grabbed her leg and pulled her back before delivering a powerful punch returning her to ball form sending the Bakugan to Shun's feet.

Saurus returned to Dan who caught him, but to the Pyrus battle brawler, it wasn't a true victory at all. "It's over Shun," Dan said in a sad tone.
Shun fell to his feet in defeat, before they returned to the real world. Time started again Dan's dad Shinjiro drove his car around the parking area after a while of searching for a free space.
"Should I go for some pudding?" he asked himself, as he turned the corner Dan and Shun appeared in front of him causing Shinjiro to put his foot on the brake and come to a screeching halt. Shinjiro rubbed his head and looked to see both Dan and Shun.
"Dan?" Shinjiro questioned.
"Dad, we need to go to the hospital!" Dan said as both he and Shun got inside Shinjiro put the pedal to the metal and rush both boys to the hospital.
They arrived at the hospital, as they stopped Shun immediately exited the car, Dan thanked his dad who told him to give his faith to Shun and his mom hoping they would be ok. At that time Shiori was quietly calling out her son's name repeatedly, while Kazami stayed by her bedside in worry, hoping his grandson would be there soon.
"Father… where is Shun?" Shiori asked weakly.
"He'll be here shortly. I also got your purse for you," Kazami replied.
The door shot opening and Shun rushed inside. "Mom!" Shun called out.
Shiori opened her eyes. "Shun.. sleepy," was all she said before she closed her eyes. Shun's eyes began to well in his eyes as the doctor and nurse told them to leave the room, Dan watching with a sad look in his eyes as Shun and Kazami stood at the door, sometime later the doctor exited the room and spoke.
"Your mother is alive, however, she is in a coma, and… we don't know when or if she'll ever wake up. All we can do is wait, I am sorry," the doctor said.
Shun fell down on his knees and began to cry. Kazami grunted but put his hand on his shoulder. "Your mother will pull out of this, she is a strong woman and despite what I think she wanted me to give you this if you didn't arrive," Kazami said as he held a Ventus Bakugan in front of Shun surprising the young man.
Shun took the Bakugan in his hand and continued to sob, while Dan could only look as his friend continued to cry.
Flashback end
"My grandpa even allowed me to continue to play even though he was against it but I let my mom's coma get to me," Shun said, his grandpa had felt guilty and even allowed him to play Bakugan when he wasn't busy with training however it was the pain of his mom not being around that blinded him.
"What will you do now Shun?" Skyress asked.
"My grandpa still wants me to be a ninja superstar like he was," Shun said.
"But he has allowed you to battle on the side, and you shut out your friends, sooner or later you will have to confront not only them but what's inside your heart, Shun," Skyress stated.
Shun didn't reply as he continued to stare up at the sky.
(Dan's house)
"I see, so that's what happened," Judai said.
"That is an unfortunate story," Drago said
"Yeah, sure is, me and the others haven't seen or heard from him since that day," Dan said. "He moved in with his grandpa and disappeared, never even bothering to play Bakugan or contact us again."
"Sounds like an excuse," Leonidas said bluntly.
"Don't you have any sympathy?" Nillous asked.
"He disappeared because his mom is in a coma, but that's just a form of hiding from your problems instead of letting those around you help," Leonidas answered; he was not the most touchy-feely Bakugan, but to shelter yourself from the outside world for what happened was just a way of hiding.
(Mount Fuji: Himesato Mansion)
The mansion was not far from Anna's farm, it was two stories tall, painted pearl white with a green roof. It was surrounded by a few cherry blossom trees that were in full bloom. On the porch was a blonde-haired man, wearing a t-shirt black dress pants, and dress shoes. Yamato Himesato an old Japanese friend of Gray, the two went way back and Gray and Alisa introduced him to Anna, however since Gray's death they became semi-isolated for a time, giving them time to start the farm and other projects on the side he was drinking a cool glass of ice tea enjoying the nice weather until Anna and Maria came home. He then saw Anna's car and got up off his seat and walked off the porch, however, he was not expecting another car to enter their driveway.
"Hello father," Maria greeted him as she got out of the car, Anna followed soon after.
"I'm happy you both are back but who are our guests?" Yamato asked with suspicion.
"Let's just say, a family member decided to make a surprise visit," Anna answered, Yamato could hear the frustration in her voice.
Alisa and Juri got out of the card, instantly Yamato understood why Anna wasn't happy.
"Long time no see Yamato," Alisa greeted. "I have to say you're looking as great as ever, have you been taking care of my sister and my niece?"
"Yeah, I have…" Yamato said flatly, normally he would be friends towards guests, but Alisa was a different story after what happened to Gray the nice woman that he was happy to call his sister-in-law turned into a monster, taking her daughter away from her family and nearly raping a girl made him and Anna sick when they were told.
"Nice farm you got back there," Alisa commented. "Great weather, well-behaved and friendly animals. Anna, you've sure been busy since I've last seen you." Alisa smiled
Anna frowned before they left and all the farm animals began to act up as soon as Alisa and her partner got near them, scaring them all to death, and Maria, Anna could tell that she was a little frightened by Alisa and who could blame her. "Yes, we took good care of them, now remember our deal little sister, I win, you beat it!" Anna frowned.
"And if I win you show me the ruins," Alisa smirked.
"You can't be serious Anna," Yamato remarked, looking at his wife with uncertainty.
"Take Alisa to the field, I'll be right there," Anna told Yamato before heading into the mansion.
Yamato frowned as he glared at Alisa who just smirked. "Whatever you're doing, you should stop before it's too late,"
"Ohh, Yamato… it's never too late for a woman like me to get what I desire," Alisa replied in a dismissing tone. "And right now I desire the secrets of those ruins."
"You know, if Gray was still around he would be disgusted!" Yamato growled.
Suddenly the temperature dropped and the wind came to a halt, the cherry blossoms fell from the tree. The air felt dense and hard to breathe. Maria felt like she would pass out from fright, while Juri remained calm and Yamato didn't back down.
"Yamato, if I were you! I will not bring up my husband's name again or else you won't like what me and Helios could do to you!" Alisa warned him in a cold tone.
'She's s-scary I feel like I'm about to faint,' Maria thought sweat poured down her forehead.
"Enough Alisa!" Anna called as she came out with her Bakugan partner. "Let's settle this."
"I'm ready whenever you are, Anna." Her Bakugan partner, a Haos Dragonoid said.
Alisa then took out Helios. "Are you ready Helios?" Alisa asked, her eyes filled with glee
"I'll crush them, Lady Alisa," Helios growled
"Alright then," Alisa smirked. "Drome Up"
The Drome then started to materialized, both sisters glared at each other. While Yamato, Maria, and Juri watched on in anticipation waiting for their battle to begin.
'It's like light vs darkness… Anna, be careful.' Yamato thought hoping his wife would win.
"Bakugan Brawl!" both shouted throwing their partners onto the field.
"Rise! Darkus Helios!" Alisa shouted.
In a vortex of darkness, Helios spread his wings as he appeared roaring, ready for battle.
In a pillar of light, Haos Dragonoid burst out of it and roared ready for battle.
Alisa then leaned down and grabbed a core. "Helios, here," Alisa shouted
As soon as the core made contact with Helios, he was energized. "General Quasar!" Helios roared as he launched a black sphere of energy at Dragonoid
Anna quickly grabbed a core and threw it at Haos Dragonoid, the core made contact with him and he was energized. "Cycling Light!" Haos Dragon roared as a spiral of light surrounded him blocking the attack causing an explosion.
"No bad Anna, I can see you and your partner are cut above those I've mowed down before," Alisa commented. "Helios, Black Core!" Alisa called out
Helios was then engulfed in a black aura before he spread his wings and flew towards Dragonoid.
As soon as Helios's claws made contact with the barrier, it dissolved into particles of light. "Is that all you got?" Helios growled
"I'm just getting started Helios," Dragonoid countered.
Anna threw a core at Haos Dragon who absorbed it. "Divine Dragon!" Dragonoid shouted before he fired a powerful ball of light at Helios the attack collided with Helios and explode leaving only smoke in its wake.
"Way to go mother," Maria cheered.
"It's too early to celebrate Maria," Yamato stated.
Juri said nothing, she knew Alisa and Helios were far from finished.
Suddenly, a clawed hand emerged out of the smoke and grabbed Dragonoid's throat. And as the smoke cleared away Helios was revealed to be slightly damaged. "You think that a weakling like you and your partner could defeat us?" Helios mocked before he tightened his grip.
"My partner and I are superior to you two in every way, big sister, it's always been that way," Alisa laughed.
'Superior? Yeah right, at least I never laid my hands on my little girl and began to be a power-hungry bitch like you." Anna frowned.
"It matters not Anna. I always was the better of the two of us, more smarter than you, and I even have a world-renowned company while you just sit here mostly isolated," Alisa said before facing Helios. "Helios finished this battle already."
"As you wish." Helios complied as he threw Dragonoid to the ground, Helios then started to prepare to charge his endgame attack.
"Anna!" Dragonoid shouted
"Right!" Anna shouted she then threw a core at Dragonoid as he absorbed it. "Holy Dragon!"
Dragonoid got back up and began to charge his Divine Dragon to its maximum, both Bakugan glared at each other awaiting their partner's order.
"Attack!" Alisa/Anna shouted.
"Void Stream Storm!" Helios roared as he released a stream of spiraling darkness with electricity surging through at Dragonoid.
"Holy Dragon!" Dragonoid roared back as he fired a beam of white light infused with electricity right at Helios' attack.
Both attacks collided creating massive shockwaves, the force causing both women to cover themselves. Both Bakugan didn't relent as they continued to pour every ounce of power into their attacks.
"Keep going, Dragonoid!" Anna called out.
"End them Helios," Alisa ordered
Both Bakugan roared before a chain reaction happened and both attacks blew up engulfing everything within the Drome.
"Mother!" Maria called out in fear.
"Anna!" Yamato said as he rushed at the drome but Juri stopped him. "Get out of my way women, my wife's in there!"
"You couldn't enter even if you wanted to, you aren't a battler so you can't enter," Juri stated, Yamato just glared at Juri, all he could do was wait and hope his wife would come out of it.
The Drome soon fell and out of the smoke came a silhouette, but Yamato, Juri, and Maria couldn't tell who it was, since both Alisa and Anna were identical in appearance, the figure walked out and it was Alisa carrying Anna who was out cold on her back.
"Well, looks like I won," Alisa smirked. 'Just barely' she growled in her mind, a second or so later and she and Helios would have lost the match, and she knew Helios was just as frustrated as her. But it did not matter, she had won and now she would get access to the ruins.
"We should get Anna some medical attention don't you think?" Alisa asked Yamato, who just frowned at her.
Yamato walked over and took Anna from Alisa in his arms. "Once Anna wakes up, we'll see what she decides," he said before carrying Anna away with Maria following behind with a worried expression on her face.
Juri walked over to Alisa. "Are you alright?" she asked in concern.
Alisa glared at her. "No, I'm absolutely furious. A second or so later and I would have lost and been on the ground instead." Alisa said, annoyed
Juri instantly bowed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, mistress,"
Alisa huffed. "However it matters not, now have access to the ruin. If my older sister keeps her promise as she should I'll be able to study the ruins and be one close to completing my plans,"
Juri bowed her head, and they both followed after the family, Alisa although upset about the near lost was slightly worried about Anna's condition, but like herself, Anna was too stubborn to stay down for too long.
(Marucho's House)
Meanwhile, at Marucho's house, he and Eva were going over the data from their battle with Shun. Just like Runo, Marucho was still upset from the loss. Eva wasn't that upset from battling Shun but she was disappointed that her new partner didn't want to battle with her.
"Skyress's last attack was certainly powerful, and Shun's style is still as strong as ever but I think this new data should give us an edge next time," Marucho said, typing on his computer
"We did overestimate ourselves Marucho, next time if we battle we use this strategy, it might give us the edge we need," Eva said typing on her end of the computer.
"I have to say, Eva, it's nice to have someone else who is able to keep up intellectually," Marucho commented.
"Thanks, not many who can keep up with me and my brother either," Eva replied.
"Ohh, do I hear wedding bells?" Preyas teased, making both brawlers blush.
"Knock it off Preyas!" Eva shouted at the Aquos Bakugan.
"Hmph, humans are very strange," Eenoch commented, not understanding the point of their arguing.
"Master Marucho, I beg your pardon but you have a guest," Kato, the family butler informed him.
"A guest?" Marucho questioned.
Just then Mei Ling entered the room and bowed. "I'm sorry for the intrusion, but my name is Mei Ling and I was looking to battle you Marucho,"
"Mei Ling?" Eva asked, she was suspicious of this sudden challenge.
"Sure, I'm always up for a battle," Marucho said.
"Wait, I still think I'm a little sore from last night's battle," Preyas stated.
"Don't think you're battle alone:" Eva said.
"But Eva, me, and Preyas can handle this," Marucho remarked.
"Then come at me all at once," Mei Ling declared.
"Why does this sound familiar?" Preyas asked.
Marucho then grabbed him, and all three made their way to the rooftop all three stared each other down
"Let's be careful," Eva warned, she had a weird feeling about this girl and Marucho would have to be wary.
"Drome Up." Mei Ling shouted
The Drome then started to materialized
"Bakugan Brawl!" Mei Ling shouted as she threw her Bakugan. "Rise Ventus Serpillious!"
In a flash of green light, a typhoon of wind appeared as Serpillious flew out of the typhoon before landing roaring ready for battle.
"I've never seen that Bakugan before," Marucho said. "Preyas?" he asked his partner.
"I've heard of this Bakugan, it's a cousin of Dragonoid and it's very vicious," Preyas said.
"Eenoch, I need you in this battle please," Eva asked, hoping her new partner would help.
"I refuse," Eenoch said.
Eva grunted. "Look, if you are going to be my partner you are going to learn to trust me, and I know you like to battle strong opponents so let's just battle!" she said firmly.
Mei Ling nodded. 'Sometimes, you need to be firm with your partners' she thought, it was the same with her and her partner until Alisa told her about being firm with your partner and it took some doing to get
"I still refuse, you have not shown me you are worthy of my power," Eenoch declared
"Then let me show you!" Eva frowned as she took out another Bakugan. "Ready Marucho,"
"You bet," Marucho smirked.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Marucho and Eva shouted, throwing their Bakugan onto the field.
"Preyas Stand!" Marucho shouted.
"Fear Ripper Stand!" Eva shouted.
In a flash of blue light, Preyas appeared on the field holding an umbrella.
"May I come out and play?" Preyas said.
"Will you get serious!" Marucho shouted.
In a flash of purple light Fear Ripper ran forward and did a front flip with his arms folded, he landed on his feet and unfolded his arms showing off his claws.
Mei Ling just whistled impressively. "Impressive Bakugan." Mei Ling said
"Only one of them," Eenoch commented, referring to Fear Ripper being the more impressive than Preyas who was just goofing around.
Mei Ling then swiped her arm to the side. "Now Serpillious, it's time for battle." Mei Ling shouted as Serpillious roared.
"Let's go Fear Ripper!" Eva shouted
Fear Ripper roared ready to battle.
"You ready to go Preyas," Marucho shouted.
"Ready to go!" Preyas said.
"Sonic Thrash!" Mei Ling shouted
Serpillious roared as aimed his tail at the opposing Bakugan and began gathering huge amounts of energy at the tip, ready to fire at any moment.
"Ability Activate! Water Refrain!" Marucho shouted.
"Time to make waves," Preyas shouted.
Preyas held his hands out, as blue waves moved forward and hit Serpillious canceling his ability.
Serpillious growled as the energy that was charging at his tail was nullified.
Mei Ling also clicked her tongue in annoyance since it means Serpillious won't be able to use any abilities for a while. 'Tch, what an annoying ability but nothing that I can't handle.' Mei Ling thought
"Ability Activate! Fatal Slicer!" Eva shouted.
Fear Ripper's claws began to glow purple before he began to send several energy slashes at Serpillious, each hitting Serpillious making him roar in anger, causing smoke to appear
"You two aren't so tough," Eva smirked.
"Correction, you and your Bakugan aren't too tough." Mei Ling countered
When the smoke cleared away, Serpillious was angrier than ever before and was unscathed by Fear Ripper's ability
"He's not damaged at all," Marucho said surprised.
Me Ling then looked at her BakuPod, at that point, Water Refrain's effect has ended, and Serpillious was now able to use his abilities again.
"Serpillious, Sonic Slasher!" Me Ling shouted
Serpillious spread his wings and took flight, at that point wind began to gather around his body before the energy from the wind sharpen like a blade.
Serpillious then divebombed at Fear Ripper in an attempt to take him out in one attack, sending him to Eva's feet.
Eva was shocked by the power Serpillous displayed. "No way…"
"Not over yet, Preyas Change your attribute to Subterra!" Marucho shouted.
"Showtime!" Preyas shouted and jumped into the air. "Change of attribute! Subterra!"
'So that's an Attribute Change,' Mei Ling thought. before focusing on the battle "Serpillious, Sonic Thrash!"
"I don't think so! Side Formation with this your ability is nullified!" Marucho shouted.
Preyas then thrust his palm into the ground, causing the ground beneath Serpillious to collapse, causing Serpillious to roar in rage as he stumbled into the crater.
'Not again,' Mei Ling thought in annoyance, before focusing back on the battle. "Serpillious, Wyvern's Fury!"
Serpillious growled as he climbed out of that crater, as soon as he climbed out, Serpillious engulfed himself in greenish flames before he spread his wings and took flight and was flying towards Preyas with a vengeance.
"Oh no!" Preyas shouted in fear.
Marucho looked at the ground and saw a core, he remembered that the cores empowered the Bakugan similar to the ability cards he reached down and picked up. "Preyas! Slumping Rocket!"
The core hit Preyas and he got charged. "Wow, now I feel energized!" before Preyas leaped at the incoming attack with a lunging punch.
Both Bakugan collided however Preyas was sent flying back and returned to ball form, Marucho fell to his knees, Serpillous roared in victory before returning to ball form and Mei Ling caught him.
"I win," Mei Ling proclaimed.
At that moment the Drome dematerialized, now that the battle had ended.
"She's strong," Eva commented, never thought she would be wiped out like she was nothing.
"To tell you the truth, I was hoping for a decent challenge from a battle brawler and a rising star, but it seems I was wrong," Mei Ling said in disappointment before she left.
"Preyas are you ok?" Marucho asked picking up his partner.
"Like I got hit by a mountain," Preyas answered.
"We underestimate her," Eva said before clenching her fist.
"Yes, we did, and that Serpillous was incredibly powerful," Marucho stated.
"Looks like we have more data to go over," Eva smirked.
"Yeah, we do," Marucho smiled back.
"Ahh, young love," Preyas chuckled.
"It's not like that!" Both shouted while blushing before turning away from each other.
"Um.. we need to tell Dan and others about Mei Ling, don't we Eva?" Marucho said quickly changing the subject.
"Uh, yeah we should," Eva replied.
(Masquerade's HQ)
At that time Masquerade was looking through the rankings of the world's battlers. Masquerade smirked as he saw hundreds of new players joining.
"Perfect, more and more battlers are joining daily but which Bakugan has the highest power level?" Masquerade asked. "Filter on," he said, clicking on the mouse as it began to filter out the data until it deployed Helios, Auxillataur, and finally his Hydranoid as well as Marduk's partner Vladitor.
"Hydranoid has surpassed Vladitor, however, we still need to become stronger than Helios and Auxillataur," Masquerade frowned.
"Hal G!" a voice echoed as Hal G's head emerged from the wall. "You are still number 1 regardless, all these so-called battlers you send out after them keep getting beaten. Explain yourself for Wolf, Dan, and Judai and their group, not to mention our mutual ally Alisa and her group are gaining considerably in power."
"I have my reasons, those kids were just disposable pawns in our overall strategy, they willingly gave themselves up out of their own greed and their sacrifice will help us create the ultimate in opponents. We need the highest Evolved Bakugan to get to the Infinity Core and as you know the more power you achieve the more that you evolved. We need to pool our resources into one central entity and so what if it is Dan's." Masquerade smirked "He's so cocky and sure of himself that he'll be willing to blow it all in one shot. He wouldn't see it coming until it's too late."
"But making one player so powerful could prove fatal," Hal G pointed out. "And it's not only him but also Wolf, Alisa, and Judai, that could prove fatal. And Master Naga is anxious for one loss in particular."
In an unknown hyperspace Naga who had heard Hal G's words spoke. "The fate of doom must be sealed for that little snake in the grass," he said.
"Snake in the grass?" Masquerade questioned.
"He speaks of Pyrus Dragonoid, the one they call Drago." Hal G answered. "For some reason, he has a grudge against this particular Bakugan,"
"So this calls for some kind of player, a battler they'll never expect," Masquerade smirked as he clicked on the mouse, as multiple player profiles until he finally arrived at the perfect one. "And I know the perfect one, the perfect one." the profile of Shun was on display.
Just then Alisa appeared with a smile. "Hello." she smiled.
"What are you doing here?" Hal G demanded.
"I just wanted to tell you two, that Shun has already agreed to help us and he will owe us after I give him what he wants most in this world," Alisa informed.
"Hmm, and do you know he will keep his end of the bargain?" Masquerade questioned.
"Oh, my son, a child's love for their mother is a very powerful motivator," Alisa replied. "But if you're that unsure you could go and join the battle yourself."
Masquerade said nothing, for he was already planning to do that. "Very well,"
Alisa smirked, then turned her heel and walked away. 'Now that's over, Anna should be awake soon and I will see those ruins and I will soon learn more and I will soon control the world and you will return to me, Alice,'
