Thankfully, the Pro-Hero is still asleep when I come back to the mansion.

I desperately need that to collect myself.

As I silently climb back into bed, I reflect on the events from last night.

"I have a proposition for you, Shigaraki-sama."

He looked stunned. He stopped moving entirely and stared at me with widened eyes. Giran whistled a low tune. "She's got guts, too." And Kurogiri-sama remained silent, eager to hear what I had to say.

After a few moments of this tension, Shigaraki-sama very irritatedly prodded me. "What is this 'proposition' of yours?"

Still maintaining that smirk, I cocked my head to the side. "I'll tell you, only if you answer a few questions of mine."

He frowns. "I have been answering your questions since you got here."

My smirk only widens. "Yes, that you have. I just have a few more. They're very simple ones."

"What's the first one?"

"What is my quirk?"

"That's a stupid question. You have lots of elemental quirks. Fire, water, earth, air, light, shadow, lightning."

I didn't bother correcting him. I made the mistake once of telling someone my actual quirk. Look where it got me. Besides, this lack of essential information may have been beneficial to me. "Very good. Do I suffer any backlashes from my quirk?"

"Yeah. You develop cuts along your body and your arthritis flares."

Another detail I didn't correct. "Last one about my quirk. Does my quirk affect my appearance?"

He huffed. "Yes, it does. Thanks to your light and shadow quirks, your hair is black during the day and white at night. During twilight hours, it's a mix."

I shook my head a little to toss my hair back. "Now, onto the technical questions. What guarantee can you give me that you won't kill me here and now?"

"Did you not hear us the first time? We want you to be our spy. So why the hell would we kill you?"

I raised both eyebrows at that. "You expect me to take that at face value. I'm not so naive. A written agreement is not possible and mere words are not enough. I'll say it again: What guarantee can you give me that you won't kill me?"

"If I wanted to kill you, I would have done the minute you showed any sign of resistance. You see, my quirk is called 'Decay.' I can destroy anything and everything I touch with my hands. My fingerprints won't even be left. Death would have been inevitable for you. If you still want more 'guarantee' ..." He enunciated the "ee" sound of "guarantee". "Then I'll say it loud and clear." He raised his left hand and intentionally coughed as if mocking a pledge. 'I, Shigaraki Tomura, swear on behalf of myself and the other members of the League of Villains not to kill Hanada Selene unless she betrays the League of Villains." He dropped his hand and grumbled, "Happy?"

"I'm not entirely satisfied, but I'll take it."

I saw him roll his eyes behind his hand mask. That brought me to my next point. "If I'm going to be working the three of you-"

Giran cut me off. "Actually two-and-a-half. I'm just a broker. I'm not directly involved with the League's actions." He grinned and dropped his cigarette to the floor, crushing it under his feet.

I stared at him, unamused. "If I'm going to be working with the 'two-and-a-half' of you, I want to be able to see your faces." I looked pointedly at Shigaraki-sama. "All of your faces."

He let out a growl of frustration as he pulled his hand mask off. I saw the wrinkles and red eyes clearly. The wrinkles were concentrated near his eyes and his lips were very chapped.

I mocked nodding my head toward him. "Thank you."

"Any more questions? I want to hear your deal."

"Just two more. You want me to spy on the U.A. staff. Exactly what kind of information do you want me to gather?" I had a good idea of exactly what kind of information they wanted, but I wanted to hear it from them.

Kurogiri-sama answered this question instead of Shigaraki-sama. "We want information that will be useful to us. For example, upcoming school events, who will be attending, and who will be participating. Recent hires, recent fires, the latest implemented policies, the latest revoked policies."

I was doubtful. "That can't be all."

"You're right. There's more. Most importantly, we want to know what the staff and All Might are up to. Observe their strengths, observe their weaknesses. Learn their secrets. Every night, I will open a portal in your room, and you will provide us with whatever intel you gained."

"And am I allowed to use any means I deem necessary to obtain said information?"

"Yes, of course. Just don't get caught."

I glance at Giran and direct my next question to him. "Are you still going to pretend my chauffeur?"

"Nope! My job was to get you to join the League. My job is done. I've gotta go recruit some other applicants."

"Then who is going to watch over me?"

Shigaraki-sama interrupted. "I'm getting really pissed off. Except for Giran, Kurogiri and I are going to watch over you, just not inside the mansion. No more infiltration. Now just tell us what you want!"

I huffed out a breath of my own. "Alright then. Listen carefully. In exchange for my espionage services, I want the service of your League of Villains. You are going to help me exact vengeance."

This garnered Shigaraki-sama's interest. "Go on. I'm listening."

"Obviously, you know the details of my life inside the manor. My life, my dreams, my pride have been crushed again and again. As a result, I want to kill every man who ever hurt me, starting tonight."

He opened his mouth to protest. Probably about how tonight and every week were very inconvenient for him. As if my coming here every night would not be inconvenient for me. I raised my hand, preventing him from speaking.

"As much as I would like my first kill to be the Pro-Hero who shared my bed tonight, I have to spare him tonight.

"Tonight and once every week, I want Kurogiri-sama to open a portal from the bar leading to two particular locations in England. I will provide the addresses. Then, one of you will accompany me through that portal. You will help me break into the building of my first given address. Furthermore, you will be on the lookout as I steal from my tormentor and then assassinate him. You are going to ensure that I get in and out safely. As for my second given address, it will always be a news company. It will take significantly less time there. "

For the first time since I got here, I watched Shigaraki-sama's mouth curl into a smile. A sadistic one, but a smile nonetheless. "I thought you were going to ask us to kill your foster family. But I like this twist. You're far more villainous than I thought you were."

I returned the sadistic smile. "I know. I won't ask you to kill the Hanadas. I will do it myself. They are last on my kill list."

His eyes lit up with delight. Kurogiri-sama, however, had a different reaction. "Say I create this portal and you and one of us passes through. Say you manage to kill your targets. Their deaths are going to fall onto the radar of the intelligence agencies worldwide. How will you escape that?"

I twirled a curl of my hair around my finger. "That's a good point. But their deaths are only going to come onto their radar if the families of the dead wish to report it. My victims are not the common folk. They're influential politicians, famous Pro-Heroes, and prominent businessmen who run multinational corporations. Alongside death, I intend to ruin their reputations so horribly that their families will use all their political and financial power to suppress the actual details of the death and crimes from being released by the media. I'm going to find secrets so scandalous that their families will become destitute trying to cover them up. These families do have ties with intelligence agencies and media networks across the world. A few behind-the-curtain deals go a long way. If the situation becomes dire, I'll make a few myself."

"And when you have no more victims? What then? Will you leave us?"

"Leave? That's preposterous. As Shigaraki-sama pledged, he would kill me or have someone else kill me if I dared to do so. Besides, there are so many names on my kill list, that perhaps by the time your League has accomplished its goals, there will still be names left."

Giran and Shigaraki-sama laughed.

"You've really thought of everything, haven't you? From start to finish, everything. You might as well tell me how you plan on killing your tormentors."

"Why know now when you will see for yourself?"

"You're an absolutely stunning, murderous little creature."

I grin cruelly. "If I cannot be better than them, I will become so much worse."
