Chapter Eleven

"Hello? Anybody? What's going on?" I asked outloud after I got absolutely no help from Atlantis.

"Well Randy, it appears that you have met your soulmate...s." John said, his voice trailing off as he added the 's'.

Turning my now wide eyes to John I moved slowly almost in a daze as my mind blanked at hearing this new information.

"Say that again?" I asked hoping I was hearing things, not to put the guys down but I now had a heck of a lot more responsibilities solely in Atlantis itself and one soulmate would have been enough to distract me let alone two.

"We will leave the three of you alone." Tayla said suddenly, giving John a look when he turned towards her.

"Yeah.. I guess you should talk about some things between yourselves but we will still need to talk then Randy. Also Doctor Weir has some questions for you as well." John said as he slowly started to stand up, averting his eyes from mine.

I was torn between verbally begging him not to leave or just transporting myself out of the room as my flight or fight instincts kicked into overdrive. Transporting myself won out and before John could fully stand up I was gone from the hospital bed.

Having transported myself to my room I stumbled over to my bed and fell onto it staring up at the ceiling in a numb shock as my brain kept repeating John's words in a loop, "..it appears you have met your soulmates...your soulmates..it appears you have met your soulmatesss..."

"Okay Randy, think about things logically. You always had the slight suspicion that it was two soulmates but you never wanted to believe it. And hey, at least they're both good looking and they're obviously both just as shocked as you are...this isn't helping." I decided.

Wanting to find something else to do I flipped backwards off of my bed and onto my feet as I decided that doing some work around Atlantis would help me put my thoughts into order. With that hope in mind I sat on the floor and closed my eyes as I delved into my new connection with Atlantis.

I decided to see what all needed to be fixed or re-built first in order to keep the city safe but after realizing just how much needed to be done I paused my mental exploration and grabbed an empty notebook and pencil and I started writing down everything that needed to be fixed.

From then on it was a slow process of searching out things and then pausing and writing them down until I had finally filled up my notebook front and back. After doing a second sweep to make sure I had gotten all of the major and minor things I moved off the floor and onto my bed as I began to look over my list making a star beside the major things that needed done.

When I was done with that I got out another notebook and began to write down the things in order from major to minor with the help of my now Atlantean thought process and using the second notebook as a guide I went back to the floor and mentally began to make progress.

That is until there was a loud pounding on my door that broke my concentration. Sighing in exasperation I paused the mental work I was doing and I got up to answer it. Opening my door I raised an eyebrow at the gathering of people that were standing in front of me.

"Randy you need to-" Doctor Weir started saying but I cut her off not trying to be rude but there was a lot of work that needed done before the Wraith made it to Lantea air-space.

"Thanks for your concern Doctor Weir but I'm fine and there's too much for me to do before the Wraith invade Lantea's airspace and find Atlantis to listen to what you want me to do. I'm sure there are many questions that you have for me but they will have to wait until I at least finish fixing up the automated weapons in the towers. I will exit my room only then and then we can talk." I said before shutting my door in her face and going back to the floor, closing my eyes as I once again started concentrating on my work only for my eyes to pop open in surprise as I realized something amazing.

"I'm telekinetic!" I squealed out loud immediately thinking about the comics that I had loved reading back on Earth. I couldn't contain my excitement and I ran back to my door and threw it open seeing John in front of my door with his hand raised to knock on my door I grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him a bit in my excitement.

"I'm telekinetic! Just like Jean Gray!" I told him, jumping up and down in surprise and joy before remembering that I had a lot of work to do and let go of his shoulders.

"We'll talk later I promise! Oh! Doctor Weir I have written down a much larger list of mostly major but also some minor things that need to be done in and around Atlantis. I hope the list can be split between the various scientists and engineers that came over as well so we can get it all done before the Wraith get here so if you could gather them together it would be helpful. I'll bring the notebook out with me so they can go over it and assign the best people for the job. For now I need to finish my work on the automated defense towers." I told her before I turned and ran back into my room slamming the door closed with my mind and grinning like a mad woman as I went back to the floor and sat down.

It took me a minute to calm down before I was able to continue my telekinetic work on the automated defense towers, completing the work that the Ancients had never gotten the chance to finish.

Making a mental note to check over all of the defense towers physically to make sure everything was hooked up properly so I could turn them on via the main control room I stood up and stretched.

The faint feeling of pins and needles in my legs and butt I stood up told me that I had been sitting there for a while. Yawning I stretched a few more times before grabbing the second notebook and walking back over to my bedroom door.

As soon as my door opened several people were in my immediate line of vision. John, Teyla, Doctor Weir and another guy wearing a white coat with a stethoscope around his neck signifying to me that he was a doctor.

"Randy, this is Doctor Beckett. He will be looking you over before you do anything else." John said firmly, trying to make it seem like I didn't have a choice in the matter.

Giving John a look which conveyed my annoyance at his attempt to order me around, he knew I had issues with being ordered around when I felt there was no need for the orders. Ignoring John and the Doctor I turned my attention back to Doctor Weir.

"Here is the list of what needs to be done. I've put everything from major to minor but I haven't included the miscellaneous things. The ones that have been crossed out are the ones that I have already done so don't worry about them. Please make sure to get this list into the proper hands so people can get working on it. I will wait in your office so when you're done handing out the list you can find me there. I'll be sure to answer all of your questions to the best of my ability then." I said, handing Doctor Weir my notebook as I turned to walk to her office.

Seeing the two guys who were my soulmates outside of my room looking directly at me I froze and quickly changed my mind about walking and with a single thought I transported myself to Doctor Weir's office.

"What kind of strain is this having on the whole soulmate thing?" I wondered as I stared out the window in Doctor Weir's office, curious and slightly embarrassed about the fact that although I hadn't given them the chance to speak to me. Meaning that the soulmate connection between the three of us wasn't actually completed yet.

Shaking my head I shoved those thoughts to the back of my brain and tried to forget about the whole soulmate thing as I waited for Doctor Weir.
