Ulrich362: True, Yudo somehow managed to convince her it was ok to use it... maybe it was a vision?

Ulrich362: Not necessarily, he's up against Lulu and she's a pretty skilled duelist in her own right. Lyrilusc cards can be very strong and her low levels protect her from Clear Wing.

Carlita was breathing heavily having just beat Dennis before looking at the Fusion Monster Quintet Magician. 'Yudo... thank you.'
The Fusion Monster looked at her before smiling disappearing. She nodded before glaring at Dennis and taking a step towards him angrily. Now nervous Dennis took a step back, "Uh Carlita if you'll let me explain myself..."
"What could you possibly have to say, you did something to Yudo, and you destroyed my home!" Carlita snapped.
Dennis shook as she said that while Yuya placed a hand on Carlita as he said in Yuto's voice, "He's beaten Carlita... Not a threat."
She froze at that and turned to him. "I can't forgive him... he wouldn't and I'm not going to either."
"But is that what Yudo wanted you to do?" Yuya asked her, "He isn't the kind to take base revenge even to someone like Dennis."
Carlita looked down. "I wasn't talking about Yudo... I meant my teacher. But you're right... can we go somewhere else?"
Yuya nodded taking her hand. The two of them walked off as Dennis looked on fearfully.
Meanwhile...
Yugo was laying on his bed bored as his head are in his hands.
"Alright duel fans, it's finally time for the last match of the first round." Melissa announced. "Lulu Obsidian is taking on Yugo."
"Oh yeah!" Yugo sat up with a grin ready to duel.
He then got a quick message from Rin.
"That isn't me Yugo, remember she's Lulu not me."
"I know Rinrin." Yugo responded, "Doesn't mean I won't hold back."
With that he walked down to the track where Lulu was waiting.
"Rin told me you're a strong duelist." Lulu admitted.
"Well yeah I am though Rinrin always takes me out." Yugo admitted to her.
Lulu nodded at that. "Well, good luck."
They walked preparing themselves.
"DUEL!" Yugo and Lulu called together.
They sped off at this.

They rode to see who gets ahead first. Yugo easily took the lead over Lulu.

"Alright time to go to work!" Yugo grinned, "For my first move I'll be summoning Speedroid Tri-Eyed Dice!"
A purple triple eyed pyramid appeared.

Lulu's eyes widened at that.

"I guess so." Lulu nodded before smiling. "Next up since I special summoned Cobalt Sparrow to my hand I can add a level one Wind Winged-Beast to my hand and who better than another Cobalt Sparrow? Then I'll use the effect of Lyrilusc - Sapphire Swallow, since I control a Winged-Beast I can summon her and another level one Winged-Beast from my hand."

"Huh? It's a bit on the weak side." Yugo admitted seeing that.
"For every one of her Overlay Units Assembled Nightingale gains 200 attack points." Lulu explained.

"Well it still isn't strong enough against Kendama." Yugo pointed out.
Lulu smiled as in his room Shay chuckled knowingly.
"Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale attack Yugo's life points directly!" Lulu called.
"Huh?" Yugo asked surprised as her Xyz charged in only for Yugo to call, "I banish Tri-Eyed Dice from the graveyard to negate the attack!"
A barrier popped up blocking the attack. Lulu's eyes widened in surprise before nodding. "Alright, but by the way Yugo Lurilusc - Assembled Nightingale has another effect."
"What's that?" Yugo asked her.
"She can attack you one time for each of her Overlay Units, which means four more direct attacks." Lulu revealed.
Assembled Nightingale charged in as Yugo reached for an Action Card.
"Will that card help Yugo escape Lulu's attack?" Melissa asked.
Yugo grabbed the card looking as he made a scowl. Lulu frowned seeing that. 'Sorry Yugo.'
The attacks struck.
Yugo: 0000
Lulu: 4000
Lulu wins the duel!
"Are you alright?" Lulu asked him. "What about your facedown cards?"
"They can't work." Yugo answered her, "Call of the Haunted, Dice-cy-cle, and Supercharged doesn't do anything on direct attacks."
Lulu nodded at that before pausing. "Can you do me a favor in that case Yugo? Keep Carlita safe."
"Carlita? That same girl Zuzu said is with Yudo?" Yugo asked hearing that.
Lulu blinked before just nodding. "Yeah, she lost to Celina remember? Can you please keep her safe for me?"
Hearing that Yugo grinned, "Don't worry bout her, she's in good hands."
Lulu nodded before suddenly frowning. 'I just hope he doesn't go after her first.'
Later...
Yugo was walking around the Facility for Carlita. He noticed her talking with Yuya moments before both of them felt a weird pain in their chests.
"Argh." Yugo grunted holding his chest.
"Yuya?" Carlita asked seeing that.
That's when she recalled the last time someone acted like that, Yudo did the same thing when Yuya dueled Iggy and when he dueled the Fusion duelist that beat him.
"No... Please." Carlita trembled at this.
"Hey!" She looked to see Yugo looking in pain but is toughing through it, "Your who Lulu told me to keep safe are ya?"
Carlita blinked but nodded. "Lulu won, she's ok?"
"Yeah now in the second round. Name's Yugo." Yugo introduced, "She told me to keep you under guard while your boyfriend, and everyone else is at the Friendship Cup."
Hearing that Carlita started tearing up. Yugo blinked at that, "Uh, was it something I said?"
"Her boyfriend... Yudo lost to the Fusion Dimension." Yuya explained while gently hugging Carlita.
"What?" Yugo asked blinked, "But Zuzu told me he is crazy strong there's no way Obelisk Force can handle him."
"It... wasn't... Obelisk Force." Carlita choked out. "It was... someone else..."
At that exact moment in another area of the Synchro Dimension...
A purple glowed happened before Yuri walked out.
"Well, I suppose I should welcome you to the Synchro Dimension." Yuri noted calmly turning to Yudo.
Yudo was looking around, 'This looks like the Sattelite is what was before Domino City before it became New Domino.'
"More of your... what is that?" Yuri questioned.
Hearing that Yudo turned.
"I apologize for my absence recently Yudo, I had... to think about my mistake." stated a familiar Barian.
"Sentital your alive?" Yudo asked surprised, "I thought you were gone after Yuri beat me."
"You know him?" Yuri inquired only for Sentital to look down.
"No, I couldn't have been... because I was the reason you lost that duel Yudo." Sentital admitted. "For that, I apologize."
"Huh?" Yudo asked blinking before answering Yuri's question, "Oh this is Sentital, Yuri he is a resident of the Xyz Dimension known as a Barian, and also a Deity of his Race. He had been sealed but I released him, and his other self brought me to the Standard Dimension."
Yuri nodded before frowning. "What exactly do you mean you were the reason I defeated Yudo?"
"I can explain, but first I truly must apologize to you both, and to Amy and Carlita once we find them." Sentital stated before closing his eyes. "I sensed a dangerous presence in Paradise City... a danger to your very life Yudo."
"A dangerous presence? Can you describe it?" Yudo asked him.
"It felt like... a looming presence waiting to find and erase you from existence. Something far more dangerous than Don Thousand, yet I'm not sure what it is." Sentital answered. "I assumed it was you Yuri, that's why I used some of my power to... alter the cards in Yudo's deck to initially ensure he would defeat you. Don't misunderstand however, I don't now which of you would truly win but I could help Yudo draw what he needed to win, or rather that was my initial plan."
"More stronger then Don Thousand? Could it be Aknadin, or Nightshroud, or something from here?" Yudo asked giving some thought.
"I'm not sure but..." Sentital started only to shake his head. "Never mind, the point is I forced you to lose Yudo, in an attempt to get you away from that danger I caused you to misplay on your final turn."
"Misplay?" Yudo asked hearing that.
"I assume you both remember how Yudo's last turn went?" Sentital asked though he looked nervous.
"He destroyed my monsters, and brought me to 500 points after his evolved Xyz Monster halved my points." Yuri answered at that.
"Correct. Now tell me Yuri, what would have happened if Masquerade attacked your Chimerafflesia first?" Sentital asked him.
"I would only have 1500 Life Points after that attack, and his dragon's attack was only gonna take-" Yuri started only to pause in shock realizing that Flytrap's 400 points against Frozen Heart's 2400 would result in 2000 points of leftover damage, 'All of them...'
"Then that meant... I had you beat." Yudo said in shock.
"True, I forced Yudo to attack in the wrong order so he could escape that presence and while it worked for a time. I sense it again, stronger than before." Sentital answered. "If anything, it's three times stronger here than it was in Paradise City. I understand you're likely both angry I interfered but you're both in great danger being here."
"Impossible... I would've lost if you hadn't interfere?" Yuri asked in shock.
Yudo looked at his hand, "I... I must be stronger then I thought."
"You're both wrong, as I said I manipulated the cards Yudo drew during the match. Until that final turn I was trying to ensure Yudo's victory." Sentital told them. "As far as you two were concerned that duel had no winner or loser but you have to leave this place immediately, you will die if you stay here."
"Huh why?" Yudo asked him, "We can't stay away or Yuya will be in danger."
"Yudo whatever this is will kill you." Sentital told him.
"But we got someone who is able to help us out. Yuri, and he had been training to use Frozen Heart for a while." Yudo pointed out.
"Yudo you don't..." Sentital started only to quickly turn and look behind him before closing his eyes. "You're still alive now, but just think what it would do to your sister and Carlita if you were to actually die."
"Hold on." they looked to Yuri who was looking at Yudo, "And what makes you think I agreed to help you?"
"I had given you a chance to have a better fight." Yudo answered.
"And I appreciate that but I never said anything about helping you. I don't care what he's saying but I am not one to miss out on strong opponents they will fall before my Dragon in the name of the Professor." Yuri smirked to them.
Meanwhile in Sayer's office...
Nightshroud's eyes were closed before he slowly opened them. "The boy is here."
Hearing that the other villains looked over as Sayer asked, "Boy?"
"The one who has Nick's card." Aknadin smirked before glancing at Nick and Sayer. "Which means all that's left is to get him to you two."
Nick smirked loading his pistol, "Where I will make sure he joins his Mommy, and Daddy, and I take my rightful card from his corpse. Those two fools got in my way, and they paid the price, and he will as well."
"I thought our plan was to defeat him in a duel using my Psychic abilities. That can be traced back to you." Sayer noted calmly.
"It never hurts to have a safety procaution in case he isn't so willing." Nick stated simply placing his gun in it's holster.
"True enough." Sayer nodded calmly before closing his eyes. "Now, how do we get that Fusion Duelist and the boy he defeated to our location?"
"Let me do that. He has Barian Energy I feel is familiar so it should be easy to lure him." Don Thousand mentioned to them.
"In that case Nick, shall we head there and wait for his arrival?" Sayer asked calmly.
"We shall." Nick smirked.
The two of them vanished at that.
bopdog111: Well round 1 of the Tourney has ended.
Ulrich362: True, Lulu managed to take Yugo out with her Lyrilusc cards but things are definitely going to be much worse soon.
bopdog111: The villains are up to something with Yudo who's with Yuri, and Sentital right now.
